Cozy, long-running Italian bar/eatery with kitschy decor preparing ample portions of pasta classics.
Fettuccine carbonara was pre okay, interesting since it’s not like what I’ve had, it’s more alfredo than carbonara. I did like it more than their original Spagheddy. The mushrooms were super flavorful, though, and the fettuccine had a nice al dente texture. That said, I think their red sauces are way better than their cream/white sauces. The lasagna was decent, and hearty. The ravioli was my favouriteee though. The portion sizes were HUGE, so you definitely get your money’s worth. The Caesar salad was also really good, a nice surprise. Overall, portions here are massive, and while they don’t let you share, it’s still a good deal if you’re looking for quantity. Stick to the red sauce pastas!
The world's best spaghetti burrow! I have had the Chicken Parm and the spaghetti (of course). Service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is cozy yet fun. The food is yummy and plentiful.
The restaurant is very comfy with a nice vibe. The spagetti was big in portion and taste good ✨️Ordered the cheese and tomato one to share with my friend, one is refreshing while another one is cheesy, perfect match! 👍🏻🔥
Decent location. Went for dinner. Chicken parm was ok. The sauce tasted was bland. There was absolutely no salt on anything. Everything was so watery. Tasted like food you’d get on a domestic business class flight. The lasagna had barely any cheese in it and it was mozzarella only; we were expecting at least parm or ricotta as well. Again no seasoning. There was no browning on the mozzarella. And it was just like layers of pasta sheets The eddy bread was supposed to have more toppings on it but it was just a slimy wet mess. Again; no seasoning. Honestly I am not happy giving bad reviews but taking $80 + tip for two meals and two appetizers when you serve garlic bread made from sub buns is ridiculous. Kelsey’s is the same price and much higher quality food. The decor is stuck in the 1980s, and doesn’t match the type of food they are serving. Not worth $80+tip
This place is a must! Seriously impressed, food is homey and delicious. Big portions, you will have left overs for lunch! 🤤 Ordered chicken parm, then chicken parm with Alfredo sauce and fettuccine noddles as a substitute, as well as fettuccine Alfredo. If you want something filling, affordable and tasty; this is the place to go.
You'll love this place. Great music playing, service was awesome, the food was on the table quickly and it was a very satisfying meal 😃 Great place for a date, we had a great meal and the atmosphere was so calm and romantic.
What a cute spot in the heart of downtown London! We had to wait a few minutes for our table. So, we sat at the bar and the bartender/waitress was so friendly and welcoming. We almost didn't want to go to our table. The food was beyond amazing, as always. The portion sizes are huge. So, bring your appetite or be ready to take food home.
After waiting on a line for approximately 1 hour to get a table for a Sturday dinner, we ordered fettuccine. The ambience was lovely, food was delicious and serving staff were friendly. The dinner-size dishes were huge and we had lots of leftovers to take home. Great experience overall, but if you’ll be dining on a Saturday night, make sure you make a reservation or you’ll have to wait for a long time.
Neat place. Has a creepy vibe (I like that though) Big portion sizes with food and drinks.
We went for our first time and were extremely disappointed. The margarita I ordered tasted like water and it was carbonated? The chicken parm was rubbery and the sauce tasted like something right out of a jar. My 2 yr old granddaughter even said I don t like it to her pasta. That s says it all.
Had not been here in quite a few years. Went with a friend for dinner, prior to attending a show at Centennial hall. Only a short wait to be sitted - as reservations are not available. We both ordered the chicken parm with an iced tea. The waitress was attentive, and had a wonderful sense of humour. Our meals were delicious, and the drinks came in HUGE glasses. As we were leaving the line up was out the door for new patrons- now that in itself speaks for itself!
Wonderful, beautiful place
Good
Came here for our Anniversary dinner! Great food!!!
Large portions, unique atmosphere!
Definitely my favorite pasta place ever!
very cool spot. atmosphere fantastic but food subpar
A hidden gem for sure! It may be small, but the portions are HUGE. You definitely wont leave hungry.
Best in the town. The Price n the value and satisfaction are all top notch.
Hidden gem. Portions were huge and for was delicious.
My favourite pasta spot! Service is always prompt and great. Prices are reasonable, especially with large portion sizes. And the pasta is excellent! Always love to come here.
Were always treated very well. Its always a good time and a fun experience. Looking forward to going again.
This place is a gem! Everything was perfect. Exceptional service, amazing food and great atmosphere. Portions are astronomical, get ready to bring some left overs home. We will definitely be back.
We waited at the front of the restaurant for 30 minutes without anyone paying attention to us. When we finally sat down our server was extremely rude. Their rule of no sharing seemed arbitrary and made one of my friends not order anything. Once we were done the waiter handed us complimentary bubble gum and didn t give one to our friend who didn t order a main. I found this extremely petty.
Cool place, service was great, portions are huge. But food is just ok.
Nice meal here after watching the London Knights. Very cool atmosphere and great service
Huge portion sizes, and it tastes great. Garlic bread is made fresh daily and is to die for. Not many tables, but if you have to wait, its worth it. I always recommend this place when people ask me where to eat in london. Vegetarian options: They have a vegetable sauce.
The food was very tasty
A very neat restaurant tucked away in an Ally. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is amazing. Ive gone for years and hope to continue too.
Italian restaurant with a special atmosphere. Very tasty. Huge portions. I highly recommend visiting.
Excellent value and food
Spageddy eddys is always a must when we re in the area, the food is always consistent and quick, the waitresses are always very friendly and helpful! The decor is so unique and fun. Vegetarian options: Maza maza eddy is my go to for veggie !
Excellent Place to Eat!
Love this place, food is Devine and service is top notch!
shame! they wont let you accompany someone unless you order something
Fantastic experience at Spageddy Eddy s! Delicious pasta, generous portions, and great atmosphere. Can t wait to come back! Food
10/10. Food and service is always amazing. I love the family owned vibes and quality of food. This is one of our favourite spots to dine any time! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and delicious place to dine!
Bruschetta was a delicious starter. Both wife and I got the chicken Parm, portion was big, pasta and sauce were great. Atmosphere of this place is incredible, really different dinning experience. Would recommend!
First visit in 2023 was memorable: long wait in line for a cute atmosphere and tasty comfort food. Second visit turned me off forever. My partner and I ordered different versions of the carbonara. The quality was incredibly poor, and we left with a $70+ bill. Save your money and buy a couple packages of Sidekicks instead, the experience is the same.
Our dinner at Spageddy Edddys was amazing. We were seated switfly and the staff were accomdating to our little toodler. Quickly we were asked about drinks and served. Our sever was very knowledgeable on the meal and intactive with our toodler. The food came very fast and was delicious huge portions for a good price. We werent rushed, in eating or leaving. Definitely a staple place to visit for any meal. Kid-friendliness: They had a few sitting options for our toodler and had toys for when he started to fuss abit while eating. The staff was intactive and friendly with him. They even offered a tea spoon for them to eat with! I did not see a kids menu however I did not ask as I knew they could eat from our stuff.
I love Spagheddy Eddys ! Its a must do if you visit London. It has been around since I was in my 20s, and Im in my 50s now sooo that says a lot on its own. Go hungry! Go for a hike, a long walk, a big swim, or a bike ride before you go because the portions are BIG. The food is unpretentious and delicious. It cones at a fair price. The only reason it got 4 stars is that it is not accessible for folks with mobility challenges. Having said that, the location is part of the Spageddy Eddy experience. Vegetarian options: They do have a vegetarian sauce available to put on the pasta of your choice, and you do have the option to add any ingredients you like.
Great place in London to order spaghetti. Add what you like over meat or vegan sauce. The portions are huge so be ready to ask for a doggie box. We havent tried everything on the menu but we have never had a bad experience. Food
Just go! Authentic, amazing service. Delicious food, priced right that fills the belly. No brainer!
I had an order of spagetti with added meatballs, and added cheese and tomato. There was only about 1 tablespoon of chopped tomato and perhaps the same of cheese. The add on prices were very inflated! Not worth the extra costs! Skimpy anount of sauce. Flavor was great. Ill add my own extras next time! With delivery and tip, cost was $62.00 ish for one order.
Mediocre at best. The amount of pasta is massive but theres not enough sauce. The sauce tastes no different to a jar of sauce from the grocery store. I know that I could have made my own pasta at home easily enough, but I thought that this would have been as good but thats not the point. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, and the Chicken Cacciatore. The chicken was comparable to the precooked sliced chicken from the grocery store. Absolutely no seasoning. The meatballs were bland. Our first experience and most definitely our last.
I am staying in London, Canada on a business trip. It was by chance that I visited this restaurant located in a back alley. It was a very stylish and nice place. There were many customers names written on the wall, so I took advantage of it. Sorry!
We went there to dine in but there is a concept of no sharing plates so had to take-out our order as each of us could not have that large portion of Past in our dinner. For lunch, they have small portion. We had Fettuccine carbonara which was decent, we had removed meat, so may be the original might be way better. Veg Lasagne- This was a must have! Loved the tomato purée in it. Good place especially if you can eat large portions. No regrets taking out our order and eating at Victoria park :)
Fabulous food, considering I didnt know where Id wind up eating lunch. The only thing I would not recommend is the garlic toast. Very dry and not much butter w/garlic. The meal was mouth-watering, tasty, hot, and it hit the spot. Service was fantastic. She took the order quickly, and the food arrived amazingly swiftly. Try this small yet exquisite establishment next time you are downtown. Its worth it.
excellent lasagna! huge proportions nice service.
Very nice atmosphere... decor is unusual and interesting. Prices are very good. Food is ok. The home made meat sauce is ok...I was expecting better. May be other dishes are better
I cant believe it took me this long to finally try Spageddy Eddys for the first time! What a cool spot. An environment loaded with character, with fun and friendly, easy-going staff who work hard. Clearly proud of their restaurant. The food tasted great. But the real story is the incredibly huge portion sizes!! No matter how big your appetite, youll leave Spageddy Eddys with a FULL belly and enough leftovers for another complete meal.
I dont think I have ever left 5 stars across the board. Today is the day. WOW!!!!!! Food = Amazing Staff = Spectacular/Friendly as Heck Atmosphere = Mind Blowing Just a massive shoutout to the wait staff. I was in from out of town and you displayed the perfect example of what servers should be. We were in town to see the Rock The Pond concert and got rained out. We stopped in to eat and lucked out on seeing a show at the London Music Hall on a fluke. Take lemons and make lemonade. Ill be back in August for sure. If youll have me.
Definitely an unexpected experience in a good way , must try . The food is good and the staff is gr8 . Will definitely be back .
Absolutely love this establishment! Never once had a bad dish here. Very flavourful, very well constructed, just overall a very beautiful experience every time I go. The atmosphere is fantastic, decor is very original and cozy. Amazing overall :)
Excellent food. I had the Chicken parm and Lasagna to die for. Highly recommended
Fun, kitschy, atmosphere. Service was decent. The food quality was really low. We re talking bagged frozen veggies with canned sauce. It seems like absolutely zero effort is put into this food. We chose not to finish our dinner, honestly, it s really poor quality. Food
Gone downhill
I ve been here a few times and the quantity is amazing. It s a good, nice, and cozy spot in downtown for lunch or dinner. The pasta is really good, however, it s nothing extraordinary. Will be back though.
Great place to dine in!
This was a hidden gem. Went for lunch today, the lasagna was delicious, the sauce was so good I wish I ordered a spagheddi with just sauce. Our server was very attentive. The decor of the restaurant was absolutely entertaining like walking through an antique shop.i definitely recommend this place. We were so happy to have stumbled upon this place. AND THE PRICE WAS SO REASONABLE FOR THE PORTION. If we lived in London this would be somewhere we would return!
One of the best in the town
Really big portions but the quality of food was poor. I had to add my own cheese to the lasagna and the mushrooms were canned mushrooms.
Not, a good place for people with mobility issues. But other than that it was a Terrific experience..
I love this place! We are from out of town and always go here when we can
Don t let the rave reviews fool you, this place serves terrible food that would make any Italian Nonna cry. I imagine a chef going through many can openers pouring on this disgusting Alfredo sauce... and not to mention the copious amounts they pour on the noodles. Carbonara contains no Alfredo sauce as an fyi. None. Canned mushrooms and salty bacon. The primavera had frozen bagged vegetables. Nothing has flavour. I m half curious if a small child runs the kitchen?? Gordan Ramsey would like a match and turn around and eat a half a can of cold chef boyardee before ever recommending this hole in the alley. Do not waste your money!
Near downtown, service and food were fantastic
This place is top tier
Excellent as always, been a regular customer since finding this place back in college
Cute little place but the food was large portions but not great on taste. My pasta Primavera had carrots, broccoli and cauliflower....not really spring veggies. The Alfredo pasta another member of our group had was also very bland. Wont be returning.
I was disappointed , I had called to make reservations but because there was just 4 of us . They wouldnt take one. She said we should be fine. I did explain we were from our of town. Anyways we got there at 4:45 and were told that the table they put us at was reserved in 30 minutes. Which made it a rush and were ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo . Which was ok but garlic cheese was awesome. Price was fair. Maybe just and off night but wasnt a fan.
Simply one of a kind. Kind of hidden but in the best way, adds to the vibe. Amazing large portions at an amazing price. Service is always wonderful, food follows suit. The restaurant environment and decor is incredible. Maggie is wonderful, super friendly.
Took my daughter to grab take out. She had never been. The service was wonderful and it was great to try something different. Fantastic food. Would highly recommend.
Poor quality food and way overpriced.
Spageddy Eddies isnt just a restaurant; its an experience! The moment you walk through the door, youre enveloped in this cozy, welcoming atmosphere that instantly feels like home. The staff are like family, always ready with a smile and a recommendation. Whether youre catching up with friends over a hearty meal or enjoying a romantic dinner for two, Spageddy Eddies sets the perfect stage for unforgettable memories. Trust me, youll leave with a full belly and a great attitude.
My favourite place!
Honestly, the last few times Ive been here have been disappointing. The food seems to be getting worse quality and the sizes are a lot smaller than what they used to be. Loved going here as a student because I would have half and take half for the next day. With the new portions, I cant do that anymore :(
Great place with amazing staff!
Amazing food and fantastic portion sizes. Definitely a fair price for the amount of food!
We took our family out for a birthday dinner as one of us having a birthday really wanted to go and we wanted something Italian. The last time I went was back when I was in school still lol. We made reservations because we had a large group which made it easier. The food as amazing. We each had something different from the menu. The atmosphere is as I remembered , cozy , dark but very warm and inviting. Lots of old nostalgia hanging from the walls which I love. I really can t say enough about the food. The portions are big and the prices were excellent for what you got. The staff was the best I e had at a sit down restaurant in years. The woman who served us had us in stitches laughing the entire time we were there. I will definitely be returning sooner than my last visit and recommending the food from there to everyone I talk to. Again the food quality was above and beyond excellent as was the staff. Such a great time. A must to try again or for the first time if you like Italian food.
I had the seafood fettuccine Make sure you ask for extra sauce and seafood for it. I find its never enough but its yummy Food
It was exactly what I expected, in the best way possible! Classic restaurant. Great atmosphere and service was top notch on this occasion. If you like a traditional chicken fettuccine Alfredo and garlic bread with cheese, this will be your favourite restaurant!!
A definite hole in the wall Italian restaurant with spaghetti as the main focus. We went because of a nearby music event and that was our main reason for choosing Spageddy Eddys. The menu is not the largest, but they were cute: record albums with the menu offers on the inside. My friend got a bacon carbonara with chicken added and I ordered a taco salad (I know its a weird choice for an Italian place but I wanted a salad). Her portion size was huge: more than two servings worth in a giant bowl. My taco salad was almost enough to meet my level of hunger, but half of the plate was tortilla chips and the salad of lettuce, chilli, and mozzarella cheese wasnt quite enough. The pop was also super sized which was good because the server was way too busy with her tables to ever get back to us. She was host, waitress, and busser and the lineup for dinner was long because of two nearby concerts. The restaurant doorway is at street level but you immediately walk downstairs when you enter the doorway. There isnt really a waiting area unless you count the small bar that has no bartender/server, so people wait on the entry stairway. When you are seated, you are surrounded by knickknacks hanging from the walls and ceilings, peoples scribblings on the walls, and baskets hanging from ropes that they say were used for serving bread pre-covid. Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely would not be possible for people with walking disabilities. Steep stairs into restaurant and then another set of steep stairs to get to the bathrooms (one stall with broken lock on door).
First time visiting tonight, I fell in love. The place is so cute and intimate. The food was delicious and the lady who served us was the sweetest! The portions are huge! My new go to place for pasta!
We held our hockey team lunch here during an away tournament in London last month and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the great atmosphere, service and food. Thanks to Danny and staff for a well organized event.
Perfect
Had a great time at this little place is super cozy friendly and the food it s just amazing and super super tasty
Excellent service and food in this hidden jem in London
Huge portions of delicious food. Best garlic bread in the city!
I went with my girlfriend and we both enjoyed the foods so much! Everything was delicious! I ordered the chicken Parmesan dish She ordered the Fetuccini Alfredo Carbonara I really, but REALLY recommend this place
Cozy, fun atmosphere, yummy food. Great value for what you get.
The food is always fresh and hot. Service is always friendly and timely. The only thing about the atmosphere is I wish it was bigger but I understand.
Huge portions, amazing prices, friendly staff and very decent prices.
Had an absolutely wonderful dinner. Staff was over the top wonderful, prices were great, food was amazing and lots of it!! WOW
The worst food for the most expensive money. Do not go there go there !!!!!Eastside Mario s or hell make it at home is way better
Delicious pasta with retro vibes!
Love them
Fantastic lil spot! Service & Food great! Great prices!
Well we had 2 bowls of lukewarm glue, No flavour, huge portions, a bottle of wine and two pieces of garlic bread. Price $100
I remember going to spageddy eddys as a kid and loving it. When I returned I was not disappointed. It has the same vibe, the same great food and great portion sizes. Forget about East Side Marios and the others....this is where you need to go.
Food portions were large Food tastes great People are friendly Parking: Payed parking all around
Fun vibes inside, good service, and amazing portion sizes (got 2 meals worth of leftovers out of 1 plate). The pasta sauce is a bit on the bland side and could have used some stronger flavours, but its hard to beat the overall value for the price. Really enjoyed the Eddy Bread taste-wise. Also would be nice if they had a printed drink menu, though the server had the spiel of drinks memorized well.
For a small local Italian place would expect homemade pasta, sauce, meatballs etc- maybe it was the delivery that ruined everything, but it tasted like everything came frozen from Sysco.
Food is great. Just wish you put real mushrooms instead of canned.
Excellent pasta!!!!!
From the moment we walked down the lane to the restaurant we were charmed. Entering the door we were instantly immersed in the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant. We were seated in a booth in the back room and everything was a treat to experience, from the reused wood to the lighting to the really delightful wait staff. We placed our order and were stunned by the speed of service. The food was plentiful and delicious. The garlic bread was itself worth the visit. The pasta we ordered, one with amazing meatballs and the other, Alfredo, cannot be praised highly enough. The atmosphere was intimate and this is now a favourite. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Great choice for vegetarians. I chose alfredo and it was really good.
Very good food. Attentive wait staff.
This is a great place, the food is delicious, this is my first time eating here, but they really do justice to the food and deserve 5 stars, thank you.
Love the food first time here recomend to come and enjoy the food
My wife and I were craving some pasta and saw all of the glowing reviews. I can honestly say they are well earned. The staff worked so hard to get my order ready while obviously very busy. I drove maybe 5km to the house and it was still fresh and delicious
I was in London for business, and wanted to venture downtown for dinner on my last night. I had googled best restaurants downtown London the night before, and came across this little gem. The pictures were so cool, so I had to try it. The vibe in Eddy s was incredible and the wait staff were super kind. The food was decent, but I am an Italian gal so I m picky with my sauce. I would recommend and go back! Thank you, Spageddy Eddy s!
Wonderful portions and great Italian flavors!
What Wesley Wong said. Top tier. Would recommend and come again
Cute little place tucked away! Amazing portion sizes and affordable for the family.
This was the worst restaurant I ve ever had the misfortune to visit. The decor and interior was yard sale trash hung onto the walls and from the ceilings. It was dark and smelled musty. I wasn t interested in the multiple menu s description of items smothered with their carbonara sauce so I chose lasagna. It was the size of a loaf of bread and covered in their version of meat sauce, which as the waitress said blended with our vegetarian sauce umm they didn t lie, it was blended so much you couldn t see nor taste the meat. Green peppers and salt overpowered the sauce s taste. The lasagna was dry, rubbery and tasteless. The ginger ale was in a huge, handle-less mason jar and was literally flat water with fountain syrup. Despite the experience I commend our waitress good service and tipped her accordingly.
Too good to be true. Best Italian food in London.Even good for vegetarians, vegans. Huge portion size in reasonable prize. Great taste and service May be they can add some authentic pizzas in the menu. Food
Great fun
Fantastic place and the staff is fast and making sure your happy
Im late writing this review but Spageddy Eddys was where my wifes family took us for dinner the first night living in London (back in like 2018). Its my favourite little hole-in-wall for pasta. We definitely came back a few times since then. The decor style is chaotic but I can get lost in it for hours. Im sure theres a lot of history here. It kind of looks like how Id imagine a 1700s pub to look with some other stuff from different eras mixed in. Service has always been prompt and I love that you can customize their main dish (spageddy)... Im a fan of throwing some seafood in it but the sausage is also delicious.
Fantastic cozy atmosphere as always. Easily the best and biggest lasagna. Same staff same great service!
The place may seem shady and kinda scary on the outside....BUT, the food and the old times atmosphere was SO worth it!! Definitely worth a visit! Every item in there is an antique, the food is done in huge servings and delicious, the drinks are refreshing and served in giant mason jars...its amazing!! A hidden gem for sure!
Had a wonderful time at this restaurant. My daughter and I ordered two pasta dishes and they were the lunch size portion. Let s just say they are very generous in portion sizes. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was super cool.
I was craving pasta and decided to get delivery from Spageddy Eddys after reading the reviews. I got bacon carbonara and garlic bread. Frankly the garlic bread was disappointing, Ive had better from pizza pizza. The portion sizes are amazing for the price though. The pasta was delicious and there was enough for 2 meals from it. Worth the price, Ill be ordering again.
Nice place for something different. Good food, very nice service. The place is fun.
Stumbled across this hidden gem while visiting London over the weekend. Happy we went in! A busy little spot with great food and service! Was also very reasonably priced! Will definitely be back next time were in town!
Spaghetti Eddys is truly awesome. The portions are generous to say the least, and the spaghetti with veggie sauce I tried was simply delectable. If you find yourself in London, this place is a must-visit. A big thank you to Spaghetti Eddys for the memorable experience.
Cool, funky place. Great good, big portions. Good value.
Love this place, we took my son there for the first time and he wants to go back all the time as he says lol. The only sad part is no bread served to your table anymore. My lasagna was out of this world, was massive, and less then $20!
All pasta no sauce. Things were better before Covid.
Pasta was good, and a good portion size, but for the price you pay, I expect to have fresh mushrooms, not canned mushrooms.
Exotic and different place, food nothing exceptional.
Great little place just on richmond. Great food and quantity. Super fast service.
Now this place is Italian! Perfecto!
its like walking into one of the special back door eaters in New York . Atmosphere is so cool little small place with the best people i could ask to serve us the food was AMAZING we got a kids spaghetti and 2 Alfredos my son usually eats only tomato sauce but once he tried out Alfredo he would not stop eating it! Very impressed by the place and the food and portions we got lunch for tomorrow! LOL again amazing service amazing back door restaurant will be back for sure im from Guelph! Kid-friendliness: our server was very nice and kind to my son and made sure he had a wonderful experience
Absolutely amazing! The best ravioli I have ever had The service was great and the food was amazing! There were 4 people in our party and all of us enjoyed our meals. Highly recommend to everyone!
Great place with so much to look at. The service was amazing and the food was great. All good came out hot and fresh and the portions are huge. The only disappointment was the hot sausage was a pepperoni and not what I was expecting in pasta. Other than that highly recommended.
Great service, great food and huge portions.
Vegetarian options: Great Veggie lasagna and many options of pasta. Tasty sauce Food
Definitely a landmark in London, located in a very unique alleyway. The interior is impressive and the service was SO lovely. They use vinyl covers as menus! However, the food wasn t anything special. I found the atmosphere to be the most outstanding part of my experience.
I just love this place!!! Great food, great service and fun atmosphere. My friends and I had a memorial dinner for our friend that had just past week- and they went above and beyond. They stayed open after hours!!! Thank you
Was there Sunday night we had high expectations of this place since the reviews were pretty good well it failed I ordered chicken Parmesan witch comes with spaghetti well it looked like they just put plain spaghetti on the plate and then added a can of crushed tomatoes on top the chicken it self was soggy because of all the watery sauce and it looked like it was a half of one chicken breast the girlfriend had seafood Alfredo witch was a nice portion but it only had 3 little shrimps on it. Overall the food was not worth the price we paid, service was good tho
The atmosphere is great. Although very busy, the service was also great. Food is nothing spectacular but still very good!
First, let me set the scene. Downtown streets closed off for an event. Dixie Chicks are playing at Budweiser Gardens, theres an Asian festival at the park. A concert at London music hall and an event at centennial hall. Its a Saturday night at 6. We are attending the 8pm event at centennial hall and figure 6pm is plenty of time to get thru dinner and the the show. We were blissfully unaware of all other events until we arrive at Eddys. Theres a line up to the door. We figure we will wait it out a bit as we see people leaving. 45 minutes later we are 3 couples back and behind us is a table of 9 without a reservation (who does this?). I ask what the odds are of getting in and out in time for our event. I cannot tell you how hard these girls worked to do the math and figure when people would finish to get us a table and out the door. We told them we knew our orders and she said it should be fine. Not only were we seated, fed, provided amazing service, they also took the table of 9 as long as they were out for an incoming reservation. They were extremely busy, they didnt need to try so hard to get 2 people in, there were many there to make money off. Going these extra steps was so appreciated and had a great meal with plenty of time ledt before the show! Definitely made for a great night!!! Thanks again ladies!
Took my boys here for the first time, we all enjoyed it. The first time Ive watched my boys not finish a meal and have to carry out! Vegetarian friendly food! Vegetarian options: Veggie sauce and Alfredo
Had an early dinner with some friends here on a Sunday afternoon. Staff are friendly and attentive. The inside of this place is great! It feels somewhere between an old coal miners den and my grandfathers basement bar. Overall the food is ok, my favourite was the Saganaki. Portion sizes are generous and enough for two people but they dont let you share (dont know strictly this is enforced). Yes you definitely gotta luv pasta to eat here! Everyone will have leftovers. Wheelchair accessibility: Would be a tough place to get into due to stairs
I loved it portions are big and prices are small
Garlic bread so hard and dried out that it wasn t eatable. The noodles on the bottom we re hard, the edges were burned and there was hardly any cheese and although the meat sauce the smothered the top was good it didn t make up for how bad the dish was.
Loves this hidden treasure. The portion sizes are unbelievable! You must try the eddy bready! I got Alfredo and I had enough for two big meals. The cozy atmosphere reminds me of a real life iSpy book! Great service and easy parking
Cant believe how hungry I was It was really good and the service was great! Thanks
Very lovely place. The soup is a little too salty. Pasta is good. But the price and warm service is top notch.
Great simple food. Very reasonable. Try the lasagna... expect to take some home.
Visited here Monday night - it was a good atmosphere & food was delicious. Portion size was big & you will definitely need a take-out box. One tip: staff was speaking very loudly and using alot of profanity. I could clearly hear everything they were saying. Not sure if I would bring little kids.
Its a good, fun spot before heading to a concert next door.
The food and atmosphere here is great. It should be mentioned that it is not accessible in the least which is so disappointing. Our toddler is in a wheelchair so unfortunately we will not be able to continue eating here. Hopefully Spageddy Eddys can make some changes so that everyone can easily enjoy some pippin hot spageddy!
First time and won t be the last time. So worth the 3 hour drive!! Miss out on dinner at this place? Fuhgeddaboudit!! Vegetarian options: They have alternative options for almost all dishes! Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is so neat kids will love it!
Got a Spageddy with meatballs here, spaghetti and tomato sauce were incredible however, I didn t love the meatballs, I could taste the fat over the meat service is quick and professional. Nice atmosphere and ambience. Very much recommended! Food
Best spaghetti ever, very friendly staff
I found the atmosphere of Spageddy Eddys to be dank and off-putting. The service was slow and inattentive- I think they were understaffed, which is not the waitresses fault, but it took away from the overall experience. They have massive portions, but the ingredients are cheap and the food isnt very good. It felt pretty expensive for what we got. We chose this restaurant because its close to the London Music Hall, but we wish we would have gone elsewhere. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant.
$30 for a piece of lasagna & didnt have any meat, no cheese, just sauce & noodles. The ravioli was gross. The cheesy garlic bread was the best part & it still wasnt good lmao it was soggy & over toasted at the same time haha how does that happen?!
Its very cosy feel inside. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food portions are big, always leave full! Sometimes left overs. Vegetarian options: If meats not your thing they have vegi options that make the pasta amazing as well.
Great place to bring a pickey eater and a cheep night out for the family.
My work catered from Eddys and it did not disappoint. I had the meat sauce and the Pink sauce and they were both fantastic. The first bite I had of the pink sauce was euphoric, reminded me of my Nonnas sauce (who was born and raised in Florence). You can tell that this is a restaurant that cares about quality and they put 100% of love and effort into anything that comes out of that kitchen. Best pasta in London hand down, I definitely will be going to the restaurant so I can try that pink sauce in house.
Such a unique place with amazing food!
This place was amazing!! We walked in at 5pm on a Friday and got seated pretty much right away! This place seemed like a hidden gem! It s down a sketchy lane, but hung with beautiful lights! The atmosphere here is like no where else! It s so small and cozy! There s things on the wall everywhere. I d drive all the way there from Windsor just for the experience again.
Great place to enjoy a pasta dish and some good drinks
Kid-friendliness: Kids will love it. Food
