We had been looking forward to eating at Fallow for such a long time. Their ethos of using different cuts of meat should be commended. We were greeted and seated quickly even though it was a very busy Saturday before Christmas. It's quite noisy so I think more suited to a group of friends than a romantic date night. The beef ribs and also the corn ribs were outstanding. The venison tartare I found a bit wet for my taste. The pigs head was really good, the cod's head had a too much of a shop bought sriracha flavour. The cocktails were very good, the main criticism is there seems to be layers of staff all dressed differently and it's quite difficult to know who is a customer and who is an employee. It's more of a bar with food, it was reasonably priced for central London. We enjoyed our evening but to be honest I don't think I will return.
Great food and service. Did a walk in around 5PM and was lucky to get a seat right away. Every dish that we ordered was beautifully executed and delicious. The brussel sprouts were super creamy and refreshing and the squash was delicately sweet. As we had sat at the bar, the bar tender (who was friendly and professional) suggested us to try a few of their special cocktails before ordering them! And the cocktail was absolutely delicious!
Walked in for dinner since their dinner session were fully booked until 2145. Welcomed by Toby’s wonderful hospitality, and his choice of cocktails to go with the corn soft serve pairs fantastically! The professionalism behind each dishes’ making is superb, every part of the food is used, humbly wonderful dishes. Don’t forget to try the soft serve! Shout out to Toby for his service!
From the flavorful food to hospitality and service, our experience was 10/10 all around. I especially loved the carrot salad and grilled corn soft serve. It’s especially Yilmaz who attended our table with such great sense of humour that made our meal even more fantastic. We would definitely be back at Fallow for more.
I can not fault this place! Menu is perfection. My favourite were the corn ribs, the smoked beef rib slid of the bone, cod head was fine!!! My absolute favourite was the Chelsea Caramel tart, best dessert I ever had. I want to go back again and again for that. It was accompanied with mince pudding ice cream. Our concierge Pam was delightful too. All the staff were helpful.
We went here for breakfast but I will absolutely be back for dinner because everything I ate was outstanding. The care and precision that goes into every aspect of every dish is amazing. We had the Royal with Cheese and the Fried Chicken Royal. At first, I thought the chicken may be an odd choice for breakfast but the balance of sweet and spicy and savoury worked so well. I think I preferred it over the "usual" sausage, bacon and egg option which was itself outstanding. We also tried the hash browns which are ridiculously good, but when you see how they make them you understand why they're so tasty. I wanted to take a bag of them home! Everything about the restaurant was excellent, including the service from the door to the table. Nothing was too much trouble. We wanted to try some black pudding on its own, it wasn't on the menu as a side but a simple request with our waiter and it was produced, no hesitation at all. So simple but still lacking in a lot of places unfortunately. Definitely a treat but it made waking up early and travelling into London a delight and I can't think of anywhere I'd rather go for breakfast going forward.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious; I ordered the chicken sandwich with a croissant bun, and it was fantastic—flaky, buttery, and perfectly cooked. For dessert, I tried the French toast, which was equally delicious, sweet, and perfectly fluffy. The standout of the experience was the service. Ajay, our waiter, was warm, attentive, and took care of us from start to finish, ensuring we had everything we needed. Incredible service and fantastic food—I’ll definitely be back!
Amazing food and a great view of the kitchen from the kitchen bar. Cod's head was a fun eat to slowly pick at, the mushroom parfait and corn ribs were surprising flavours and very nice. Service was perfect. The venison ribs we ordered turned out tougher than expected, and the chef noticed us struggling and swapped it out immediately for the beef ribs. Will definitely return to try more of the menu.
Tables to close together and very load for a couple to dine without the next table and their speaking interfering with your time at fallow. Food is spot on, beef ribs and corn ribs are to die for. That dusting the sprinkle over the food should be sold in jars, amazing. The only letdown food wise was the soft serve icecream, tasteless and that toffee sauce on it full of salt, but mains and starters are on point and the price is excellent value
Top late dinner and drinks at a fine establishment. Exemplary service from Toby. Must have Corn ribs, fall off the bone tender Venison shank with a glass of Zweigelt, sophisticated pumpkin Mille-feuille and a Mars single malt to close out.
Excellent service from Karim matched by delicious food and superb wine. The mushroom parfait, cods head and chocolate mouse were outstanding. We will be returning again next year for Sunday lunch. I cannot wait
This is my first Sunday roast so I am not going to pretend like I am an expert but this was a great meal. The turnips had a little bit of sweetness to them. The potatoes were perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The gravy was so good I could drink it. I laughed when the server said I could get refills bc I thought there was no way I would use what they brought me but I did. The red cabbage was the only thing I didnt enjoy but I think its bc there was beets in there. It was a great impression of a sunday roast.
Food is exceptional, but the dining experience seems mainly focused on how quickly the tables can be turned over. We were brought a bill without requesting one and informed that we needed to leave 15 minutes prior to the slot we d actually booked. The food was joy, but the service joyless.
Do NOT sit at the bar unless you want awful service. Let me tell you about my adventure at the bar seating - where time apparently moves at half-speed. We sat down at 11 and after a solid 20 minutes of perfecting my notice me wave, someone finally took our order. It was breaky and my wife and I both ordered egg dishes, presumably laid by on site by free-range chickens who needed a pep talk first, as that took another ~40 minutes to arrive. The silver lining? Making silent friends with other forgotten diners at the bar, exchanging those you too, huh? looks that somehow made the whole situation amusing. We formed a little support group of sorts, united in our shared invisibility. Food was nice! Small servings but nice. We then finally managed to flag someone down to pay (another 20-minute exercise in patience). Ultimately I had to tell them how abysmal their service was. FWIW I never do this I would gladly eat food dropped on the floor to avoid causing a scene, but not today. I was speaking for all my forgotten bar friends who were still in the fight. The server was nice and said I m so sorry, the bar is really confusing for everyone. In fairness, it wasn t her table I don t think. She was just the only person who paid attention to us. The food was good, Ill give them that. But maybe stick to the tables unless youre looking to bond with fellow bar guest and test your abandonment issues.
Joe - Bartender Toby - Waiter Honestly the best service, likability, and professionalism is crazy, I loved every moment at this place and it will stick in my memories forever. I would reccomend this place to anyone to wants to extend there tastebuds and open there mind to new UK cuisine
Experience and service I loved the terrace area so the ambience was fine -main restaurant was loud though. I felt like I was on a factory belt being rushed to leave - wrong order even came to our table at some point, waiters didnt clean our table after mains before dessert. Our bill was brought quickly during dessert and after that I kept on seeing our table being eyed, and I felt rushed out. They dont take Amex, but located right in the middle of tourist and business district so that cheapened my impression for sure, I thought it was an upscale restaurant in the West-end, also it was a business dinner so I couldnt pay on my corporate card as a result. Waiter told me on Amex that if I owned the business I would also want to save money. A donation to charity was added to my bill without my consent - I think I would want to choose the charities I give to myself, thank you. Food Very salty and rich. I found the cult favs - mushroom parfait, good but not to die for. Smoked ribs - way too salty and dry, Ive had way better. Corn ribs - overhyped. Mushroom burger - quite good, a bit rich and oily. Cabbage - way too rich with too much going on. Cheslea tart - bitter and salty, could only manage a few bites. The cornflakes icecream was good but too sweet. I wont be back, there are way better experiences and food elsewhere in London but glad I tried it because it was on my must-visit restaurants in London list
Superb restaurant, vibe and service
Food was nice, but the server was kinda rude and not very good. Also be aware they will charge you a 15% optional service charge and 2% donation. This ofcourse is not added to the advertised prices.
Underwhelming
Erick was phenomenal from the minute we sat down. Food was outstanding, highly recommend visiting fallow.
Love these guys you tube channel!!
Fantastic place, went for my birthday cant recommend it enough. The Venison tar tar and the Smoked beef ribs were a standout! Best meal ive had in England.
Honestly one of the best restaurants I ve been to! Everything we ordered was delicious and the team were so friendly and knowledgeable. Can t wait to go back!
Truly incredible service from Toby, fantastic food at fair prices. A must visit when youre in London.
By far, the tastiest burger and chips EVER! The patty was made with beef from an ex-dairy cow making sustainable use of the animal. Besides the patty, it had slow-cooked short rib and bacon, served in a brioche bun. The chips had a kombu seasoning, giving them a unique, almost barbecue flavour. I ordered the chocolate mousse for dessert with zero expectations and, again, completely surprised. It had a soft caramel centre, served with a cream, a tuile and crunchy lentils - very original, not much in way of taste but added texture. I was served by Yarra, who was lovely - knowledgeable and with impeccable customer service. She brought me a sparkler with my dessert as celebratory gesture for my birthday. I absolutely loved it here. Food, service and setting were outstanding. Will definitely return!
Bit of a late review but came in feb for my husbands birthday and had the best time. Food was amazing and the food was great.
Everything was fantastic. We ate far, far too much but it was totally worth it.
I had breakfast at the Chefs table.. Black Pudding Benidect.. Small portion but very tasty.
This was my first visit to Fallow, I had heard so much about it, so was very much looking forward to going. Overall, great place, buzzy atmosphere, good food, good service and definitely worth a visit. There were two of us for dinner, so we decided to have a selection of small plates to share. When we were asking about the mains, the waiter recommended the French chicken (not on menu), which was spatchcocked, grilled and came with a jus and some other emulsions. The waiter very eagerly explained how the French loved their chicken and that this was the wagyu of chickens, so we obviously were interested and ordered it. It actually tasted just ok, nothing special, a little dry tbh and something we couldn t finish as we had definitely ordered too much food. The other dishes were so much better, especially the mushroom parfait which was divine. It was smooth, creamy and luscious. The smoked beef ribs were delicious too. They were tender, flavoursome and fell off the bone. The other dishes we ordered were the potted shrimp, Hoffman fries and roasted pumpkin. All very tasty. The service was great too. There were lots of staff on the restaurant floor. They were friendly and attentive. One of the waiters did recommend we speak to the sommelier when he heard we were going to order a bottle of wine. Nice guy, although I m not too sure about how knowledgeable he was. We seemed to have more knowledge and we re not sommeliers. We told him our budget of around £50 for a bottle and ended up choosing a Vieux Pressoir at £62 a bottle. When the bill arrived however, we noticed that we had been charged £65 for the Wagyu of chickens!! That is a steep price to pay for essentially a chicken that didn t taste much different to regular chicken or was anything spectacular. I feel the waiter should ve told us that it was a whole chicken which was definitely too much for just two diners and also possibly mentioned the price beforehand. We mentioned the price of the chicken to the waiter, also that it really wasn t worth the price and were hoping for a discount but that did not transpire unfortunately. For £136 pp the bill was pretty steep. However, we left the restaurant stuffed and happy. We had eaten some good food and had drunk some nice wine but we also could not stop wondering how many Nando chickens we could ve eaten for the price of one at Fallow and how much we could ve saved. Overall great meal, definitely worth visiting, just don t order the wagyu of chickens if you do go and remember to ask the price of items not listed on the menu, beforehand.
We had the most wonderful long lunch. The set menu was great value and every dish completely delicious. Meal made even more special by the service especially Ajay our wonderful waiter
Lively and fun restaurant with unique and delicious food! Toby our server made the experience even better with fabulous recommendations and a friendly disposition.
Great Place, Great Food and Great Service... we were looked after by Kareem - Great waiter and really looked after us. Kareems recommendations and knowledge of the food was on pint. The only criticism is that Fallow do no accept American Express - this need to change for such a good restaurant. Dietary restrictions: accommodated by ensuring anything alcoholic was on side
The best!!!Thanks
Toby was fantastic from start to end can t even say what the best dish of the night was just WOW!
Food was excellent - delicious! The service was abysmal. Our waiter, Edward, was condescending. We had just sat down, and was rushing us to order. When we expressed that we were still looking at the menu, he said he would give us space then with a patronizing demeanor. Immediately, we were put off by his attitude and ordered two appetizers to try the food. Edward had someone else serve our food, but we were uncomfortable by the service still and decided to leave after the appetizers. We soon asked for the check, paid, and left quickly; we did not want to stay there any longer than we had to. Just as we exited, Edward ran out and accused us of dining and dashing - without having even looked at our paid bill. We told him that we paid and he turned around without even an apology. The service made us leave early - and will make us not return again.
Great food, particularly the Cod s Head. Yilmaz and all other staff who treated us were great.
My husband and I went to dinner here on Saturday night for his birthday and had a really enjoyable evening. The staff were brilliant - we were really taken aback by the level of detail in which they knew about the wine and food and nothing disappointed. The different flavours in the food was *chefs kiss*. I especially want to shout out our waitress Deema (I hope I spelt it right) who was so helpful, accommodating and spot on with everything she recommended. You could tell she was passionate about the food. Thank you for a wonderful evening - we will be back !
Uneven dishes Vegetarian options: Avoid the aubergine Recommended dishes Mushroom Parfait, Small Plates Recommendation for vegetarians
Fallow exceeded all of our expectations from start to finish. The innovative menu, with its focus on sustainability and bold flavors, was a culinary journey that left us utterly impressed. Every dish was beautifully crafted, highlighting fresh, seasonal ingredients with a creative twist. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the impeccable service provided by Karim. From the moment we sat down, Karim s warm demeanor and attentiveness made us feel completely at ease. His deep knowledge of the menu and cocktails was top-tier every recommendation he made was spot-on and enhanced our meal immeasurably. Karim struck the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness, ensuring we felt cared for without ever being rushed. Fallow is not just a restaurant; it s an experience. With incredible food, a welcoming atmosphere, and service as exceptional as Karim s, it s a place we ll be returning to time and time again. Highly recommend!
Some people calls it atmospheric but I call it noisy! I felt the offerings on the menu very limited!
Chanced upon their YouTube POV cooking videos and am so glad that we hit them up for dinner... every dish was amazing but the standout was the cods head (served with the collar), which was cooked perfectly springy (texture intriguingly resembled crab meat) and very meaty. Extreme value for 29 quid. Mushroom parfait was another standout as everyone agrees to. We also got the flamed mussels, corn ribs, Pommes Anna which were 9.5/10!! Will be back to try their red meats on the next visit. Service-wise, all three servers we came across were extremely personable; overall an excellent experience dining here.
Ben - what a legend, recommend 100%
Amazing food and excellent service from Tomos who was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic
Tomos was amazing, great service. Thomas is a great asset to the team.
Great service from Tomos! Amazing recommendations will definitely be back!
Good craic. Excellent food and a fantastic, friendly atmosphere. Karim was our waiter and i would ask for him by name! The consummate professional and made our evening very enjoyable. Thanks again.
Our experience at the restaurant was amazing made even better by our waiter Tomos. His knowledge of the menu and description of the food and how it is made and taste, makes you want to eat everything from the menu. Highly recommended and if you have Tomos as your waiter it s an added bonus. Enjoy Food
Great service, amazing food and all at the heart of London. Thanks for the experience and making our anniversary dinner special Food : 5/5
Tobi Kedi did such a fabulous job- really good service and food!
Excellent and creative food with delicious flavors. Service was quick and staff was super friendly. They also had very yummy pescatarian and vegetarian options. Highly recommend, cant wait to go back!
Not sure what the hype is about this place food is terribly average.
Had the best time as always Kedus was amazing at bringing us the food and explaining it and our waitress Nancy was so welcoming and did a great job. So lucky with who served us 10/10.
We have just finished our fantastic meal at Fallow and the whole experience was exceptional. We were served by Michael who couldn t do enough for us. He explained the menu and ensured we were happy for the whole time. We will be back, thank you so much.
Superb dinner with excellent food and great service. All courses we tried were excellent and I could have very happily chosen all items from the menu. Will definitely return.
If you dont try the ribs, you havent lived your life! The roast is great and is only surpassed by Michaels courteous service!
Does not accept Amex as of last week, and did not communicate to customers. This matters as Amex Platinum list this as a dining credit location. Found out the hard way after ordering breakfast, only to get stung for the bill that Id expected to pay for using my Amex credit. Avoid if you want to use for Amex dining credit purposes as staff will not help you. No warning this had changed and I cant be only customer in this position.
Excellent food with friendly, helpful service. The small plates really outshined the roast, but the roast of dairy cow rump was also delicious! Food
Stepped in this past Saturday with a dear friend, with no reservation. Was very pleasantly surprised to be seated in the outdoor area within a couple of minutes. The ambience was sublime - a constant chatter & tasteful disco, but not deafening. The front of house team were kind & knowledgeable, a true benchmark of the industry. For such a restaurant to be glorified in the influencer world, there is just cause for Fallow s fame. For all the late nights in our uni household fawning over the corn ribs and ex-dairy burgers, there were nothing but giggles when they arrived on our table - and that wasn t the cocktails talking! The innovation that the Fallow team are tirelessly churning is truly inspiring, to those in the industry, and those outside of it. It was a real pleasure to have experienced it, even if on the inflexion of virality. Do believe the hype.
Had a lovely dinner at Fallows, Haymarket. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was just right. A special thanks to Chloe for taking such good care of us she really made the evening enjoyable. Looking forward to coming back!
A great meal and Michael the sommelier gave an inspired recommendation for two very different courses - we drank more than we should
I booked Fallow for a pre-theater anniversary dinner, initially for two, but my stepson decided to join us, and they accommodated us without issue. However, the table we were given felt cramped for three, as it seemed only suitable for two place settings. Our server, Toby, was exceptional and truly the highlight of our meal. For starters, I ordered the duck parfait and corn ribs. The portion of the parfait was small, accompanied by a brick-sized piece of focaccia. My son chose the Burrata, which was unfortunately overdressed and greasy, lacking any bread or crostini to create balance in texture. I ended up sharing half of my focaccia with him. We both opted for the burgers, which were excessively greasy so much so that the bun fell apart under the weight of the grease. My wife ordered the Barnsley lamb chop, which was cooked well, but the lamb tongue brochette came cold in the center. It s worth noting that Toby was being unfairly criticized by his manager during our visit, which was unfortunate. Another staff member, wearing a bandana, seemed unprofessional and out of place. I also ordered a side of pomme Anna, which arrived as a three-slice terrine with truffle mayo, but the potatoes were dripping in fat. On the bright side, the drinks were expertly crafted and stood out in a positive way. I did notice a chef at the pass wiping his forehead with a tea towel and recklessly swinging water out of a bottle, which didn t present the best image, especially at this price point. Overall, for over £300 for two burgers, a lamb chop, two starters, a side dish, and drinks, the experience felt steep. While Tobys service was fantastic, the food was overly greasy and should have been served hotter.
Absolutely brilliant. I met Will and Jack. Both outstanding and appreciative to the highest level. I am definitely going there again to try there evening session. Highly recommended. Thank you for your hospitality and absolutely out this world food. Food
We had an incredible evening here for my birthday. We sat at the chef s counter and we literally had an amazing show in front of us. The food was incredible, great size portions and such high quality. Highly recommend coming here for dinner. We had the duck parfait, aubergine, stone bass, pork special and the pumpkin mille-feuille
We spent much time reading the reviews, we reserved many days in advance for our one day in London from . It did not disappoint. A food experience we won t forget. Thank you to the staff. Don t hesitate to give this place a go. Cheers Oh and try the St. James cocktail.
Came here for lunch with my Wife and my little 7 month old. Had a great lunch whilst the staff all did their best to accommodate our baby and make the whole process painless whilst also managing a busy lunch. The chefs all took time to answer my incessant questioning and they show real interest in what they do. Its a great restaurant with a solid menu that gets backed up by thoughtful attention to service details (something many other places forget) look forward to my next visit!
Never and I mean never will I book a reservation anywhere that wants my credit card. Never never never. End that ridiculous nonsense. There is not a meal on earth worth that.
My server Khalid was amazing, so polite and professional.5/5
Served by Erick- excellent service. Food was great.
Had an amazing time at Fallow with family. Karim provided an excellent service and made us feel relaxed to enjoy our meal :) Would recommend!
With the Sunday roast we were served a delicious, heart-warming meal. Everything was fine. The pork belly was perfectly balanced: with the crispy exterior and the melt-in-your-mouth meat. The side dishes were also all great, with the red cabbage and green cabbage sharing a worthy first place. It was almost a shame that you couldnt charge extra! Dessert was a nice ending to the meal. Although it would have been nice if our drinks had been served at the same time. But apart from that detail, everything was more than fine.
Had the most amazing experience food was incredible but that was personified buy the exemplary attention and service we received from Omoleye, 10/10
Food was superb from start to finish. The corn ribs and mushroom parfait are truly worth the hype. Thanks to Alvin and Anna for the recommendations and amazing service!
The place is beautiful and the food is very delicious. The staff are very good, especially Alvin. The corn ribs and mushroom parfait that he recommended were amazing. Will be coming back for sure. 10 out of 10 experience.
In my opinion, across the board the food lacked acidity and brightness. Regardless, highlights were the corn ribs and the cabbage. The burnt lentils on the chocolate dessert added an interesting smokiness, just wish there was something bright to contrast with. We also got crudo, potato waffle, mushroom toast, pumpkin, mussels, beef rib, potato pave, and three desserts. The beef ribs were disappointing, it tasted like they were burnt/oversmoked and then saved at the braising stage. I get what they were going for with the potato waffle but I found it odd and out of place, it really reminded me of a mini frozen waffle with ketchup and a fried quail egg and for 10 odd pounds incl service charge... I couldnt really taste the corn in the corn ice cream. The restaurant is very noisy, not a criticism, its just an observation. The servers were all very nice, but had to repeatedly ask to refill water. Maybe bring more bottles to each table or bigger ones for bigger groups.
Took a red eye from LA to London, caught a nap, and went straight to the most beautiful dinner. Alvin and the rest of the front of the house team gave us a lovely experience, and every dish was outstanding. Doubt we ll have anything else as delicious this trip. I m so happy I didn t hesitate on this resy!
Had to return to this GEM of a resto in London after my first visit only a month ago. Super healthy menu, love all of the mushroom concoctions really inventive. Also, can t believe that upon walking in, the waiter actually remembered me, after only having been there once before Ajay was his name and he made me feel so welcome, especially as I was dinning solo this time. Another EXCELLENTE dinning experience! Thank you Fallow! Vegetarian options: Miso CABBAGE!!! To die for!!!
Fallow is a truly wonderful restaurant in the heart of London. It is a masterclass in what British cuisine has to offer. The restaurant is very charming and the perfect spot for a special dinner. I went here for an anniversary dinner and it was just perfect. We were lucky to get two seats at the chef s counter, where you are immersed in the action, seeing the chefs skilfully prepare everything. It really is a sight to behold and definitely worth it if you can book it. The food was different to the normal same dishes you find at most restaurants these days. It was all tasty but a few things really stood out. The rib was by far the tastiest rib I have ever eaten. It was insanely succulent and juicy and I could easily have eaten 10 more. The mushroom parfait is a top seller and I can see why. It was smooth and rich in flavour and deserved it s rather high price tag. The fallow burger is also absolutely worth trying, it was probably the best burger I ve had (after Bleecker burger of course - I ll hear no slander!). And lastly the cod s head with the sriracha butter sauce was a showstopper. It tasted great and my partner was brave enough to eat the eye which is supposed to be a delicacy but you be the judge off that yourself. The service was mostly good, although our waitress wasn t the most polite, but it was late and I think just an off day, the rest of the staff were very lovely and took the time to speak to us, even the head chef asked us if we were enjoying our food! They even sorted out an anniversary plate with a candle which was a lovely touch. Fallow has quickly become a top London restaurant and has firmly cemented itself within London s top eateries. I cannot wait to go back soon.
Best food of all time ever period. Toby was the ultimate waiter, I loved him, what a lad! He knew the menu like a beast he was an expert at everything fallow. He gave incredible recommendations for food and drinks and incredible service. If I owned a restaurant Toby would be the first guy I would hire!
An exceptional evening . The food was beyond fantastic, full of flavour, full of creativity. Atmosphere vibrant and warm. Service provided by Toby with a Y was engaging, insightful and charming.
Great brunch! Was sitting at the outdoor area, but suddenly pouring!!! There was then a little pool at our feet even though they had a shelter up. Thats the only thing we could think of as part of improvement, food was good.
The food is good but not worth the price. When the highlight is a famous food influencer on the table next to it, it is a sign that the restaurant has both done a lot right, but also something very wrong. Had breakfast Royale with chicken and Royale with cheese. Good with a croissant as bread, but the £20 chicken is not worth the visit. Nice premises then.
the flamed mussels are delicious, dont miss
I visited Fallow to celebrate my partner s birthday and, unfortunately, left feeling extremely disappointed with the service. I made sure to note the occasion when booking, and even mentioned it to five different staff members during our meal, requesting a dessert with a candle to mark the celebration. Despite being reassured by several staff that it was in hand and not to worry, no effort was made to acknowledge the special occasion. While the food was decent, it didn t live up to the high standards I expected given the price point. However, it s the service that truly let us down. I felt entirely disregarded, and the lack of attention to detail for a birthday celebration was frustrating. I would not recommend Fallow if youre planning to celebrate a special occasion, as it seems they do not prioritise customer experience in these situations.
Fallow lives up to the hype. We had kitchen counter table chose the set theatre menu with a few additional sides. It s premium experience.
One of the best restaurant experiences we had. From the food to the service everything was exceptional. I would recommend booking a spot at the chefs counter to see the chefs preparing the food, which makes the dinner experience unique. We will definitely come back! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options as well, which all have a twist and taste great (e.g. corn ribs, mushroom parfait, grilled cabbage)
Even though it was busy (Xmas), we sat at the bar fantastic service, intensely flavoured food (e.g. mussels) all-round great experience, would definitely return
An amazing experience at Fallow. We were in two and sat at the Chefs table (highly recommend it!). The food was great, definitely try the Cabbage as it was a unique dish I haven t seen in a London restaurant before. A big shout out to Head Sommelier Fabrizio and Head Mixologist Carlos for making our experience top notch. Their recommendations and kindness is what made our meal a great one. Only reason the ambiance was given a four star is that the restaurant was packed and there was obvious disorganisation (however it was the Christmas season, so it s understandable!) Alessia & Amelia
Fabulous place, service was first class, I d put on the booking that it was my hubby s birthday, every member of staff that we encountered wished him happy birthday and the desert came with a sparkler in it. There wasn t anything that wasn t tasty and brilliantly made, we ve followed Fallow online and it more than lived up to our expectations.
Odd place. Atmosphere is like a coked-up TGI Fridays (there were a table of drunks next to us who were absolutely out of control). Food was uninspiring. Fair play to whoever is marketing this place as the hype is wholly unrelated to what it actually offers. With so many good restaurants in London, there is no reason to ever need to come to a place like this.
While Fallow wasnt the only reason we had to visit London, it quickly became the highlight of the trip over. We had the pleasure of being hosted by Yilmaz, possibly the most charismatic host weve encountered. He made it an absolute treat to hang out and sample from the menu from the moment we sat down. Everything we ordered absolutely delivered on quality. The beef ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful, nothing could have prepared my for the crispiness of the skin on the Duroc pork belly, the kombu ketchup and tallow for the Bavette steak were addictive, and the shrimp and crab cake with the apple salad were so perfectly balanced, and I could go on and on. My only regret was that we tend to each order something different from each other so we can get a good try at as much of the menu feasible, and I wasnt the one to order the Chelsea Tart. Im just glad theyre gracious enough to share recipes so I can attempt it at home, along with the Rhubarb and Custard Spritz. Definitely need to plan a return trip to try more of the menu, and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting London. (Please excuse picture lighting/quality)
Great lunch at Fallow. Super speedy service as we had to get to theatre. Olawaye (sp?) was a great server and gave us great recommendations
Food was incredible. Really delicious combination of ingredients. The restaurant is very popular and so the tables are cramped close together Vegetarian options: Confit cabbage, corn ribs. Mushroom parfait
Returned here after a previous bad experience and so glad I gave it another chance. My daughter and I had a great time. Sat at the chefs counter and enjoyed watching the food getting cooked and prepped. Food and drink were great and especially helpful that they were able to adapt dishes for my daughter s dairy allergy.
The oyster was excellent, but the other dishes were simple. I ve heard Fallow restaurant is very good, so I should try it next time. Comparing the service and food to other restaurants in the area, I d say this place is too expensive for an average experience nothing really special.
I had a really nice lunch with my boyfriend! Estelle was super helpful and recommended the perfect drink, the spicy frozen margarita was amazing! The beef ribs, mushroom parfait, and burgers were delicious. Great service, great atmosphere, a five-star experience!
Gifted a voucher for last Xmas... finally got in! 2 beef roasts, which were huge! And desert. Everything was fabulous. Food : 5/5 |
love this place. Great product. Great service. Kristian took great care of us. Be back soon.
Came in on the 28th and had quite possibly the best dinning experience of my life, the staff went above and beyond for my celebration, the food was indescribable, flavours behind my comprehension, and to top it off I got to meet one of the head chefs and got a tour of the kitchen, thank you too the whole fallow team who made my first time there a truly special occasion.
Excellent food and service. Our server Omoleye was extremely helpful and friendly and made our experience even more enjoyable.
Walked in (early evening) without a reservation and got a table. We shared a small plate, two sides and the burger and all were excellent. Cocktails were similarly inventive and well-executed. Service was impeccable.
Great food! We particularly enjoyed the mushroom toast, a must have for saturday s brunch menu. Good to make a booking in advance as well. We were pretty early but fortunately they had bar seats left for us. Check out their website for the different menus too.
It was an absolutely fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Love the concept, and the food was fantastic. Beef ribs and corn ribs were a big hit.
Amazing food and service, Maria was amazing with us corn ribs are a must and so is the mushroom parfait, but everything we tried was great. Highly recommend!
Brilliant night at the chefs counter, Chefs couldn t have been lovelier and Nancy was brilliant all night.
Excellent service and food. Very quick as well. Recommend to make reservations for dinner.
Loved the unusual nature of the dishes and drinks; very well cooked and tasty Amazing service from Kristian Salazar who was always ready to help and very accommodating for our non dairy friend; checking to make sure we are careful with what s being consumed. He gave us good ideas for our dishes. Thank you very much. Food
Still the best restaurant in London, IMO
Location: excellent, central and very easy to find. Near a couple of stations which was very convenient. Service: the staff does their best, always smiling. Attentive but they need more servers. We came in during a busy Tuesday evening and it was crowded. Our food took 45 mins to arrive. We got there early and sat early but it was just very busy. Coming here starving will be aggravating. Food: excellent, no complains at all. Tasty and cooked well, and very interesting dessert selections.
Croissant dough bread is delicious
We had an amazing meal at Fallow. The corn ribs, mushroom parfait and beef ribs were amazing and the big sirloin with marmite butter topped it off. Also a big shout out to our waiter Toby who was incredibly attentive, gave great recommendations, and really added to our overall experience. Thanks Toby! Jack & Hannah
Erick has been a great server and made sure everything was fine. The corn ribs and the parfait were amazing Food : 5/5
If youre a fan of their YouTube channel and you happen to be in London, you have to go out of your way to visit Fallow. I did the same and it was so worth it! Amazing food, service and restaurant atmosphere. Shout out to Chef Will and my server Kristian for making my dinner there all the more special with their friendliness and hospitality. Cheers from Hungary
Some great dishes here, service was perfect and great atmosphere! Although, anyone who is looking to try their signature cod head dish, I would pass on that (personally wasnt a fan) and go for many of the other dishes they have to offer.
Visited a few star restaurants in the last year and for the first time I can leave a 5 star review because fallow not only met our expectations but exceeded it. Thanks for an amazing lunch.
Really excellent lunch. The mushroom parfait was a must have. While I enjoyed the flavor of the corn ribs, they were a bit of a challenge to eat!
Arrived on a busy day without a booking staff went out of their way to squeeze the 2 of us in! Great luncheon experience and the extra attention from Ollie and Fabrizio was much appreciated!
I had an absolutely dreadful experience with this establishment. It all started when both I and my guest got food poisoning after dining here. I lost an entire week of work due to the illness, and my guest nearly missed their flight because of how unwell they were. What made this situation even worse was the completely unhelpful and disorganized customer service. I spent an entire week trying to resolve a transaction issue, essentially doing the work their team should have handled. Despite all my efforts, I didn t receive the refund I was entitled to, nor the vouchers promised by their general manager as compensation for the ordeal. This entire experience was both frustrating and embarrassing. The lack of accountability and care for customers is shocking, and I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the trouble go elsewhere. UPDATE: I have to thank the general manager Bradley for how he handled the situation. He refunded me the meal, which I really appreciate. I am not planning to visit the place again any time soon, but their actions show they actually care about their clients. Moreover, I wasn t solicited to change my review.
An outstanding experience. The food was all excellent, every single dish. A highlight was the confit cabbage - a revelation. The service was superb - our server Khalid was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, but never invasive. Well done to the Fallow team - we had the best experience and can t wait to come back!
Delicious cocktails, spectacular climate and incredible service from Carlos and JC who made me feel at home
The atmosphere here is amazing - super chill and chic. The food was amazing but what truly made our night was our waiter Erik who was not only amazing as well but super friendly! His recommendations were on point and he went above and beyond. Saludos y gracias por todo!
Beautiful restaurant for an important breakfast. Service lovely but slow all the rest fantastic Food
Fantastic breakfast and really friendly staff, shout out to the guys working this morning. Couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. Oh and the food was spot on.
It tasted amazing, but it was strange because, I thought it should be hot, but was wan t also a bit expensive for what it was and £6 for a cup of coffee wax a bit steep
We had a wonderful celebratory meal at Fallow recently. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the service was event better. Our server Nancy took us through the menu and made some great suggestions which we loved, and was incredibly warm and friendly throughout our meal even though it was clearly a busy evening. Special mention goes to the corn soft serve. Thanks all for a lovely night!
Booking in advance is definitely a must as this place is constantly packed and bustling with customers, and it s easy to understand why after having a meal here. The price is on the higher end but it s definitely worth it. Ordered the corn ribs with the special kombu seasonings, mushroom parfait, venison tartar with spicy tomato crisps and lamb chop. Not really a fan of the crispy lamb tongue but the chop is absolutely delicious and the meat is soft. The corn ribs and the venison tartar are definitely good options for starters as they have such intense flavours that I couldn t stop eating, but the highlight is the mushroom parfait for sure which is really creamy. My companion and I arrived half an hour before our reserved time but we got seated fairly quickly at a table by the door (initially I only managed to book a slot at the bar) so this is perfect. Fantastic and attentive service as expected which made our evening a truly enjoyable one!
Amazing food, my favourite restaurant in London.
Everything was delicious from drinks to deserts. The mushroom parfait was incredible. As for the service, everyone was very attentive and our waiter Erick was great, very friendly and helpful.
I was really let down at Fallow. We were seated right in the corner by the stairs to the toilet and there was clearly not enough space for the plates, it was more like a table for beers only. We were then told that a number of the dishes were not available, neither were any of the non-alcoholic drinks (it was only a Thursday night). The service was fine, but they missed clearing our plates many times and got one drink wrong/ didn t ask if we wanted more drinks. The food was also fine, but quite hit and miss/ one dimensional - nothing to shout about for the price. The tartar just tasted of parsley, the pork was over cooked and fatty (not in a good way) and we found the snacks to be extremely small. To top it all off, I ve woken up the next day very unwell and haven t been able to stray far away from the toilet (other guests also not feeling there best). So for the cost (which is a lot compared to other better resultants) and experience I wouldn t recommend Fallow. Hype over substance.
Great place! Really love the casual vibe and atmosphere. Service was great...and food was really top notch. Beef ribs, corn ribs and tartare to share. All first class. Fallow burger....got to be up there with the best burger Ive ever had. Superb! Food
Easily one of the best breakfast in London. I m sure they have a lot to offer for dinners but we want to try something british early morning. I strongly recommend sitting around kitchen table. It s highly seductive and guys with knives are very funny and skilled. Amazing atmosphere and very kind people that care about us. Keep rockin I will follow your steps and watchin kitchen stories
I had a wonderful time last time and drank a bottle of Benjamin Leroux - Meursault. But this time, the wine list has been changed and what the staff recommended was a total rubbish. People need to know about what they are selling if they intend to put a price tag on it.
I went for my birthday, made my partner book as soon as tables were available. Ive been following Jack and Will for a long time and Ive always wanted to eat at the OG. The guys are so passionate and it shows in the food. We were blown away by the quality, flavour and to be honest the lunchtime menu price, absolute bargain given the standard. That XO sauce! Service was a little chaotic and we were waiting a long time for our order to be placed and bread and olives to be served. This led to our seating time being quite rushed and while the food and drinks were mindblowing, it would have been nice to have enjoyed the moment more on my birthday. Nevertheless HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Keep smashing it Fallow team
Excellent food and service. Will definitely be back!
I went today to the amazing restaurant in central London calls FALLOW, the food was delicious with must elegant serving, I really enjoyed and I would like to appreciate the staff calls miss yuno and vivien, I would like to recommend to everyone who reading this message
Amazing food with equally amazing service. The food was incredible and every mouthful an adventure! Anna, our server, was great. When we had questions, she helped out but also allowed us to enjoy our meal without interruption. This was an experience we will talk about for a while, I am sure.
Fantastic! Food, flavour, uniqueness of menu offerings, service. Thank you Anna for your excellent recommendations and explaining all the dishes and patient service. Will definitely come again if only for the amazing beef rib starter.
Unbelievable food. So tasty. Corn ribs were a must. Fallow burger and charcuterie board very very high quality. A place designed for a special treat
15% service charge and then serving cold mains with no cutlery, not even clearing the table of starters before the main is honestly not on. Had to ask two waiters for cutlery and our sides were several minutes late. Its quite disgusting that they think they can charge such an amount. The food was okay, starters were very nice, the main (we went for the Sunday roast) was over seasoned with the sauces overly reduced and lacking any real finesse that we were expecting from such a place. Honestly, the roast in my local zone 3 pub is better. London has so much more to offer, this place seems to be riding its previous reputation and location, I would seriously try and avoid if you can as its not worth visiting.
Stopped in for a quick lunch while touring around the area-- we had booked a terrace table but it was very windy and the hostess was accommodating and got us a table inside, as long as we were able to finish up within 1.75 hrs. Everything we ate was unique and delicious. Does anyone else feel like all restaurants, even those with Michelin starts, start to blur together with similar dishes, flavors and presentation? This place was a standout-- creative and balanced. The frenetic energy of the kitchen puts an exclamation mark on the experience... you witness first hand the energy and effort put into the food. Highlights included the corn ribs, beef ribs, crudo-- even the burger had me nodding my head in approval. So far the best meal Ive had in London during this trip.
We went here for Sunday roast. It was amazing. We had to wait a little bit to get in even though we had a reservation, but the food and atmosphere really weighed up for it. It was cool to see the kitchen staff work in the middle of the restaurant. Go and try some of the sides when you are first here, you won t regret!
Just went for a couple of drinks. The frozen margaritas were e delicious and the corn ribs were bites from heaven. I loved Amanda, she was friendly.
Yes, sure, excellent food, great service, no doubt, but I didnt expect such laid-back, enjoyable atmosphere. The crowd was very diverse and even though it was a very busy Saturday night, the staff was so welcoming, as if we were coming here for years.
Got the set lunch with a few sides and it was delicious. Corn ribs and to die for and amazing desserts. Our server Toby was also fantastic at making us feel welcome.
Nice place for brunch, good selection a little limited, scrambled eggs were underwhelming
Outstanding food worth every penny cannot rate this place enough staff super attentive food is to die for recommend corn ice cream.
Everything is perfect, food taste amazing! Just the space is a bit packed and crowded.
Wow what a place Ridiculously good service especially from Locke and Andrea (somellie) Food was so dam tasty and plenty of it-we just keep eating and drinking. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place. I will definitely return
The burger here was insane. Great atmosphere and service. Already want to come back!
Highly recommend the Croissant Royale! Had the Steak Royale and every ingredient complemented each other very well. Imagine buttery croissant + steak + fried egg + rockets, all tied in together with some magic sauce. Yummy! Will be back to try the Royale with cheese next time as I heard the sausage patty is made in-house
Walking up to the main door, we saw the curtains pulled shut, and for a moment, we thought we d made a mistake and the restaurant was closed. But stepping through those curtains, we were transported into a bustling, vibrant atmosphere what a pleasant surprise! We arrived earlier than our booking and chose to sit in the semi-outdoor area. At first, we were a bit worried it might be chilly, but the staff had it all covered (literally!). Blankets and heat lamps made it as cozy as the main restaurant, with a touch of festive magic that added to the fun. Now, the food wow! Four of us shared a selection of small plates, and here s the lowdown: the duck liver pâté was rich, creamy perfection; the smoked beef ribs were heavenly; the Cornish sea bream crudo was fresh and delicate; and the potato waffle? Utterly quirky and delicious! Each dish had unique flavors and gorgeous presentation, but my standout was the pâté. For mains, the star of the show was the Crispy Old Spot Pig Head. What a masterpiece! The skin was beautifully crispy, the meat melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the accompaniments spiced apple ketchup and cider & onion gravy added the perfect balance of sweetness and tang. We cheekily requested extra sauces on the side, and trust me, you must try them: the beef fat chimichurri, bacon butter sauce (seriously addictive I d drink it by the pint if it were socially acceptable!), fallow sriracha, blackberry sauce, and XO sauce. Each one was an absolute flavor bomb. We were four hungry guys, and there was more than enough food to satisfy us all. If you re in the area, this place is a must-visit! A huge shoutout to Toby, our server, who was simply outstanding. He sets the gold standard for customer service his knowledge of the menu and food was impressive and refreshing. He didn t just serve us; he turned our meal into a personal foodie adventure. Toby made us feel at home while elevating the experience to something truly special. Honestly, if you visit, ask for him you won t regret it! Finally, don t skip the mulled wine. It s packed with warmth and bold Christmas spices, proper way to round off a cracking meal.
Good breakfast spot - get the full English breakfast and a croissant sandwich.
Great idea, two great breakfasts on one, croissant and stuff. But it just dont quite cut the mustard. Dont believe the hype. Tables wobble, and our table felt like it was in the middle of a walkway. Wonder down to 45 Jermyn Street (Fortnums), same price and outstanding. Coffee is better too.
The food looks as good maybe better than it does on their YouTube. Who knew I liked mushrooms?! An absolute revisit is required.
Went for breakfast and it was amazing. Food and service were fantastic and I ll be back.
Wow where. Do. I. Begin. I ll start with walking in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and the smell of delicious food, my girlfriend and I were celebrating our 5th anniversary (year of the wood) and everyone congratulated us. We originally sat at the bar but felt quite a breeze and after mentioning this to the waiter he immediately whisked us off to a romantic intimate table for 2. Then . This is where the party starts . We met Ben H. An absolute story teller of the menu, guiding us through his favourites which we obviously had to order (GET THE MUSHROOM PARFAIT) and the rest is history. We left and my girlfriend proposed!!!!! I m drunk on love and good food - Ben H deserves man of the year at fallow!!
Amazing experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely go for the mushroom parfait, the cabbage and the beef ribs. We also enjoyed the steak and the sides, but the highlight was the starters. Service was exceptional, Alvin recommended the dishes we loved the most and paid great attention to make sure we had a lovely dinner experience. Will certainly return to try the cod and burger.
Went here for breakfast with my girlfriend. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and amazing service made better by our waiter Keddus. Don t pass this place by when in London!
We entered after reading the reviews and we were not wrong. We ate at the bar and a boy and a girl gave us advice in Spanish. We loved the food, the atmosphere, the super friendly staff and the very nice restaurant. The best thing about my trip to London was discovering this place. If I return to London I will definitely return.
Great service from Anna, amazing food and atmosphere. Truly an hidden gem, try the mushroom parfait!
Great experience, food and service was incredible. A big shout out to Toby who provided excellent service, even providing us recommendations for the night ahead.
Me and my partner came to this restaurant as he d seen it online! It did not disappoint, the staff who all served us were personable and so lovely to speak to. They informed us that the food does come out when it s ready, which we didn t mind at all. Me and my partner ate absolutely everything until we were full! As someone who is an avid mushroom hater, I ate all of the mushroom parfait. All of the food is so so delicious, we are definitely going to come again. You can tell that all of the flavours, sauces etc are really thought about with all these dishes, me and my partner left extremely full and very happy too! The selection of alcohol is also top notch, with gorgeous cocktails to try as well. I can t recommend anyone to come here enough, beautiful food, friendly staff and fantastic chefs!
Disappointing experience sadly. Hash browns were delicious and who I was with enjoyed their breakfast. My scrambled eggs were pretty cold having waited for the rest of the breakfast to arrive and then having to ask for the Sriracha which took even more time to arrive. Even if the eggs were warm there isn t much to the dish. A bit of a shame.
The cod head is fantastic
Amazing food, great service, great value. Would definitely go back
The most amazing place !! Food service &vibe !!
Exceptional on all fronts. The food was laughably good, and I mean literally chuckling in disbelief as the reconstructed potato waffle and quail egg hit the taste buds. Khalid looked after us to the point of me wanting to hire him by the end of the meal. Special place, special meal. Thank you.
We stopped here after an evening at the theater for a little dessert. We enjoyed the mousse, Chelsea tart, Irish coffee (so yummy) and some decaf. It was still very lively nearing closing time. The staff were attentive, welcoming and made sure we had everything to enjoy our experience. So glad we stop in for a nibble!
Came here for the first time last week for a weekday lunch and it was spectacular. The oyster martinis were incredible and every item of food delightful and well-prepared. Many thanks to Omoleye our server who provided friendly and attentive service. Vegetarian options: The veggie options just as delicious as the meat ones.
Food was fantastic and actually very fairly priced for the lunch 3 course menu. (£42 per person). Would be a 5 star if it wasnt for the price of wine by the glass. Going to go back when I have enough friends who want to want to eat half a pigs head! (Literally) Vegetarian options: We didnt have it but the mushroom parfait was flying off the shelves and we could hear all the collective yums
From the food to the service it was amazing. Deema our waitress had great knowledge of all the dishes and was very friendly which made our experience even better. Would recommend the pigs head and corn ribs!!
Excellent food and service, especially from our waiter Callum, who was very welcoming and gave great recommendations.
An amazing experience at Fallow for a Sunday roast. The staff were super attentive, friendly and helpful. Sitting at the kitchen bar was a great experience and the food was INCREDIBLE. A must visit.
The experience at Fallow was absolutely phenomenal. Each dish we tried was mouthwatering and achieved in incredibly depth of flavours. Corn ribs and the confit Cabbage in miso are enough reason to go back again and again. Even the Waldorf salad was fresh and bitter, with a beautiful contrast in the palate that the blue cheese and the smoked caramelised walnuts give. Absolute genius! Both meat dishes (venison in a blackberry sauce, and the beef ribs) were cooked to perfection. Tender and exquisite. If food wasn t enough, service topped the whole experience like a cherry on top of the cake. Yara was very friendly, always very attentive, and all her recommendation made a wonderful dinner for my partner and I. Thanks to all at Fallow! Will see you soon! Vegetarian options: Corn ribs and confit miso cabbage. To die for.
A Very Nice place , good service a very good atmosphire. the food was very good Food
i have never written a google review before but jonathan was the best host for our gorgeous evening!!! fantastic food made better by his recommendations!
Awesome! I went on my own. And was looked after from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Incredible cocktails, Sea bream tarter to start. So fresh! A pork main that was crispy and juicy, Then the desert .. pumpkin crème brûle. Woah! So good. Such a busy restaurant, but the staff all knew their roles to the n th degree. I was never waiting, I honestly dont know how they do it. Honestly, the food was great, but the service team. Wow! Hats off to you all, you made my afternoon, from being seated temporarily at the bar, to the service at the counter over looking the kitchen, even through to payment; every step was dealt with professionally and personally. Thank you. Each and every one of the team. Together you are creating something truly magical. I was just sorry I had leave to catch a flight, otherwise I think I would still be there. Awesome. Thanks.
Absolutely unbelievable food. Deema was the best waitress ever, she made my birthday incredible. The best experience ever!
After the musical, I went to have a glass of wine late in the day and ordered a mushroom parfait to have something simple for a snack. Why was it delicious?! I was embarrassed haha I ordered more bread and ate it up. The wine was delicious too
We loved everything we ate at Fallow, Toby looked after us and made the experience. Will be back
Great place where i had the best burger ever. Andrea helped me and my table to have a great experience! Highly recommended if you happened to be in london Food
Ive wanted to try Fallow for a while now, it did not disappoint! We sat at the bar, which I can really recommend for a really nice relaxed atmosphere, Phillipe our waiter really looked after us throughout we could not have been more well looked after. The food was incredible, we opted for a few of the signature dishes including the cods head as a showstopper. Which it really was, loads of meat with a lovely texture and the flavours were incredible the accompanying siracha butter emulsion sauce was delicious and would go with pretty much anything. When we came to pay I was amazed by what good value it was considering the quality of the food, the service and the general attention to detail for everything.
100% recommend, the Fallow Burger is delicious, the atmosphere is great and service was very good! Benjamin looked after us very well!
Outstanding service and food quality! Love what they are doing there..
Amazing experience great food. Chloe was a great waiter , very bubbly and welcoming !
Amazing restaurant, great food, fantastic staff. Not my first trip, won t be my last.
Had fantastic Sunday roast visiting from America! Ajay was our server and we highly reccomend requesting him! Fantastic service!
Such a gem. Firstly the service was brilliant and you feel like you really are being waited on and cared for. Now the food - absolutely delicious. It s good to get a few bits and to share amongst those there. We had a selection of small plates and some large - the corn ribs are amazing!! Cocktails also very nice. Super place for a nice treat
Really enjoyed this restaurant Food was great . Food
Excellent brunch.Very well prepared.Very good service without being overbearing. It was quite busy so expect the noise levels to be a bit higher, but not uncomfortable.
Fallow in London exceeded all expectations! The food was exceptional, with the highlight being the Black Pudding Benedict absolutely delicious and a must-try. The drink selection was fantastic as well, and the bar staff, Joe and Vivian, were brilliant, mixing up some of the best cocktails weve had in the city. A big shoutout to our server, Toby, for his attentive and friendly service, and to Benjamin and David at the front of house, who made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. Overall, an incredible dining experience with top-notch food and a stellar team. Cant wait to return! PS - The Chelsea tart was also one of the best desserts Ive had in my life. I need to find a way to get that in San Francisco
Ive been a fan of Fallow online for over a year now, and I finally got a chance to try it. Having been so excited for so long, I was a little nervous that my high expectations wouldnt be met. Ive never been so happy to be so wrong. The restaurant itself was fantastic, pretty and comfortably busy. We were a group of five seated between the welcome desk and the kitchen, not necessarily the best seat in the house, but we could watch the show in the beautiful open kitchen and enjoyed being surrounded by a other tables as the music isnt too loud. Every member of staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Service was fast and staff checked in on us without being over reaching. The perfect middle ground. And so the food. Ohhh the food. The menu is big enough, and there is plenty of variety. Dishes are creative and daring, but there are also more standard options available. We chose to share the pigs head, bass, and a few vegetable dishes for main courses, everything was delicious. The pig skin was beyond crispy while the meat underneath melted away in your mouth. The fish was cooked perfectly. Special mentions for the cocktails as well, which I found original and very tasty. I really enjoyed the Paddington in particular, but I also had the best amaretto sour Ive ever tried. Thank you so much to the incredible team behind it all, I will never forget our lunch here : ))
5 out of 5! An amazing experience from start to finish! Service was phenomenal from pre-drinks while waiting outside to the door being held open at the end! But the star of the show was hands down the food! Beef ribs top tier some of the ever had The roast was amazing served with a giant jug of gravy Get the smoked cauliflower cheese! (Best food ever!)
Weve been wanting to visit fallow for a while after making some of their banging recipes from YouTube. It didnt disappoint! The food was amazing, staff super professional and friendly, an all around triumph! We will be back.
Absolutely amazing food. It was a really busy Saturday afternoon service but the food came out in good time and was incredible. The Mushroom parfait and short ribs were so delicious that I still think about them!! Frozen margaritas were an excellent way to start as well. Worth saving up for another visit.
We had dinner with the dishes that were recommended to us. Everything was spectacular. The dishes are very original, very elaborate and with many nuances. Its been a long time since a restaurant surprised me like this one did.
The food was good but felt like it was lacking the wow factor, especially for the price. The layout feels a bit cramped and busy but I did like the open plan kitchen. The restaurant is pretty cold so I wouldnt be keen going in the winter. Overall good but not amazing.
Some of the best food Ive ever eaten! Each plate was full of flavour and absolutely delicious, and the service was fantastic. We came for a birthday meal and Fallow did not disappoint, it was a fabulous meal and a gorgeous night out. Thank you!
Nice ambience and attentive team, but over-priced and overly rich food. Tough to finish
I wish I could give six stars for food and service. It was an immaculate meal. I wish I could say I took photos of the food but there just wasn t time, we ate it so quickly. Fallow is a brilliant option for both vegetarians and meat eaters, and may now be my favourite restaurant in London. The food is such a superb quality. The only thing better is the service. Benjamin made us feel so at home and welcome and was just such great conversation. He also recommended the perfect dishes and introduced us to the magic of Fallow s Chelsea tart that I will be dreaming of for the foreseeable future. Shout out to Eric as well who came over for a chat too! Vegetarian options: Hen of the woods burger, Cabbage with miso and black garlic, mushroom parfait, pumpkin with goats curd and hazelnuts, cheese platter, Chelsea tart
Its the third time I have been to Fallow and it pleases me every time, food and service always on point!
Me and my partner enjoyed a meal here for his birthday. Lovely dishes with big flavours. The Cod head was particularly good with a cracking sauce. My only criticism is that it was overly busy, we felt packed in like Sardines. The tables either side of us enjoyed our conversations Im sure.
When we arrived, the restaurant already closed for breakfast service. Philippe still let us in and everyone was very nice. The food was delicious. Thank you!
Glad to get a walk in today. The COD head was great! I will be back with my family next time. The service was great by Ajay. I recommend this for everyone Food : 5/5
Great restaurant and decoration. The dinner was delicious, allowing us to be advised by our waiter Erick who was always attentive to ensure that we did not miss the smallest detail and was super pleasant. We ate Mushroom parfait,Flamed mussels and Fallow Burger
Fallow is a very famous British local restaurant and there are many people eating there. There is also a queue The fried corn is so delicious! The powder sprinkled on top is the soul! For the last potato, I also want the roasted corn sprinkled with flour and mixed with potatoes. The barbecue and grilled steak are also good, medium rare and perfect. The only thing is that my stomach feels uncomfortable after eating a little oily food. I don t know if the oil for frying corn is not good enough.
I am addicted and keep on going back for their Saturday salmon Royale croissant roll
I am delighted to report that Fallow lives up to the hype. I was sceptical, but absolutely everything about this restaurant was excellent. The cocktails are delightful, and the ambience is lively yet cosy. The staff are marvellous (extra kudos to Tatiana, our very patient and helpful waitress when we dined, explaining the options and making spot on drink and food recommendations). And the food...We ordered the pigs head, which was momentarily unnerving to look at, but utterly delicious to eat (albeit very, very rich, even two greedy people will struggle to have three courses if this is one of them) and worth checking they havent sold out for the day. The sides were delicious, including the cider vinegar gravy, the homemade ketchup, and the side salad that came with the main course, and the pumpkin and goats curd, fries, and pommes anna that we added. The snacks and small plates were also stunning - the venison tartar slipped down, while the beef ribs were irresistable, so tender that they simply fell off the bone as I took my first bite. And surprisingly for a restaurant with a reputation built on steak, the vegetable and seafood dishes were first class - the corn ribs are the best Ive had anywhere to date, and the fish pâté was smooth and flavourful, with a generous hunk of focaccia that pleased me to the depths of my soul as well as my stomach. Ive spent all day singing Fallowss praises to anyone in earshot, and will be making a return visit leaving room for dessert this time. Dietary restrictions: Options for coeliacs and dairy intolerance
I dont often leave reviews, but I sincerely wanted to speak highly of the atmosphere and service here. My friend and I were lucky to grab one table (there was only one left!) without reservation, but Ill def make a reservation next time to make sure to get a table. I was quite amazed by luxurious vibe but still quite chill to casually get in. Also, We felt really great and comfortable all the time from when I get the menu to when I left the restaurant thanks to Erick, who served our table. Erick was very nice and kept checking us out very friendly. And of course, food was fantastic! I can tell everything we had (beef ribs, burger and corn ribs) was above the average, but if I go this restaurant again, probably its because of corn ribs. I dont think Ive ever had similar one in my life.
