Great meal after a much anticipated wait after Covid and travels. Amazing views of London, tasty treats and great service. I can highly recommend the caramelised banana with waffles. They were awesome in adapting to peanut free due to my allergies. Service was very attentive and double checked to ensure I understood there were nut products other than peanuts. A+ care and service. The open air kitchen makes for some interesting listening. Perhaps not for the kids but as a bonus I learned 4 new swears I d never heard before.

We had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Duck & Waffle, and reservations were essential to secure a good time slot make sure to book well in advance! Our overall experience was fantastic, with excellent service and outstanding food. We tried their famous duck and waffle, and it did not disappoint. The duck was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, though I do wish they served a whole waffle instead of just half. Definitely a must-try when visiting London!

Great way to start your day. Went for their breakfast without reservation. We were seated right away (fair warning we were there pretty early at around 8AM, if you plan to arrive later make sure you have a reservation). Got full English breakfast and the duck & Waffle. Both were delicious and really good but the namesake dish was unique. The service was quick and helpful. Our server (whose name unfortunately I can t recall) even ran after us to bring us the lipstick we had forgotten on our table.

I would not recommend eating at this restaurant. When we tried to ask for a booking this morning the lady was extremely rude to us and turned us away. To make matters worse, I went on open table and realised that there were indeed available reservations, which leads me to suspect that the customer service staff was being racist and discriminatory towards people of colour. When I questioned her about the nature of the restaurant (which is by the way 24/7), the lady abruptly responded it is but we are full up at the moment. Her behaviour was despicable and if this complaint is not resolved, I will be reporting the incident to the news because of the abhorrent way we were treated. I was extremely disappointed that a world renowned restaurant still treats customers like this and I urge people from ethnic minorities to seriously consider refraining from eating here in light of our unpleasant and discriminatory experience. Moreover, there were others who were rudely turned away in a similar fashion to us. I feel bad for them too as your staff were clearly not trained to behave in a respectful manner to customers.

First time with my family here! Its a great experience. We order duck &waffle, wanna be D&W and corn rib. Every menu is very delicious especially wanna be. Crispy mushroom is no.1 for me hehe. Staff Cagatay also provide really great support to us.

We have just had a wonderful breakfast 40 floors up above London, what a view and food was gorgeous. Adam made our experience, lovely guy and very accommodating. We hadn t booked but didn t have to wait long for a table. Will be back!

I took some clients here for lunch last week, and all 3 of us were really impressed. We kept it quite simple, and each had the Duck and Waffle which was absolutely fantastic. Definitely recommend it, and will return.

Was a lil dissapointed here. It was early in the winter morning at 7am nearly, we got the breakfast in the bar, which was really weird atphosphere, the reason was because a guy in the reception said he already gave a table to a couple before us. It was 7am and there is no reason there were other table to give.

The coolest breakfast on the 40th floor in London! It is a unique place to have breakfast, open 24 hours a day, and during this Christmas period it is even more beautiful to go there because it is all decorated with a Winter Christmas theme and it seems like you are in a dream!

Grabbed breakfast at Duck & Waffle and it was a nice experience. The service was ok and the food was good. I think that as long as you manage your expectations (i.e. I don t think it s a premium venue) you can have a good experience. The view is really nice, even taking the glass elevator to the 40th floor was really enjoyable as I could see the entire city. I also appreciated that the staff were nice and helped us get a seat by the windows after we were already seated.

We didn t have a reservation so we were seated in the bar area. The views were great either way. Since we were there for breakfast we decided to go with English breakfast and waffles. Everything was good but not necessarily memorable. I would come here for the vibes!

By far the best breakfast I ve had in london so far. Get the duck & waffle - it was incredible. Their americano was elevated. I lucked out and got a fantastic view of the sunrise. It was really good. We came here to eat with the view, but we had a bad table, so we asked to a waiter to move and he accepted. The staff is very kind. The food was great, good value for money, and the view is AMAZING. But, at the end when it was the moment to pay, the waiter was REALLY agressive with us, like he was angry, very unpleasant.

I was seated at around 11:15am at the bar with the understanding that my friend would come and join me in about half an hour. I was left alone at a bar table for about 20 minutes before being approached for my drink order. I asked for a glass of water and, after informing the server that my friend would not be coming and checking that it was ok for me to dine alone at my current seat, ordered a Queen of Scots. I sat nursing my drink for the better part of an hour on my laptop (free wifi!! though you do have to give your email, full name, and bday for access) before I started getting upset. Two parties of 5 had come and gone and Id never received my water or was offered a food menu. Id honestly be ok with slower service, it happens all the time when restaurants are short staffed or busy, but the dining room was clear and other tables seemed to be getting their orders in just fine. I finally got the attention of a passing server about an hour and a half after being seated and asked to order some food. In my ample down time, Id already searched for an online menu and knew what I wanted, which seemed to surprise the server who attempted to bring me my menu. Normally I wouldnt be so rude, but Id arrived hungry and had only gotten hungrier. I got my food 2 hours into sitting there. The food runner had to circle back before setting the food down because no one had brought my utensils. On the plus side, my drink was good, though maybe not entirely worth the price tag, and my duck and waffles lived up to its hype, with perfectly crispy confit leg, a well salted egg, and a sharp, but sweet mustard maple syrup. The flavors were well balanced on an honestly straightforward waffle, though I dont know that Id wait 2 hours for it again. I do think my dining experience was unique to my circumstances and whatever my initial server might have been doing at the moment, but being unattended for 2 hours was too much. Id planned for an 1.5 hr brunch and having it turn into a 3 hour affair because of inattentiveness and miscommunication was upsetting. If I hadnt had my laptop, Id be much more annoyed. My hunch is that there might have been some miscommunication between the server who initially took my order and the rest of the FOH staff about whether I was dining where I sat or if I was waiting on a table. However, if an increasingly listless patron has been sitting there for the better part of 2 hours and no one has bothered to check in other than the give the table a few stares, Id at least have my team check in

The quality of the food was average, the waiter was rude and argumentative. The pricing of the drink packages is highly confusing, Ive never seen so many terms and conditions. There is no atmosphere inside, the only nice thing about it is the view. Save your time and money and go somewhere genuinely premium.

Duck & Waffle offers stunning views and a lively ambiance, but unfortunately, the food falls short. It was mediocre at best, and we left feeling underwhelmed by the overall experience. While our server was lovely and did her best, she seemed to be managing at least 10 tables, which impacted the service quality. The restaurant felt more like a social media hype trap than a memorable dining experience. Disappointing overall we expected more.

Nice place very close to Liverpool Station. We went for drinks only. However, if you wanted food there are very few seats to have some sushi. If you wanted to seat properly you would need to book the restaurant. Plenty of choices for drinks and barmen prepare them with great attention to details. There are two main bars, one inside and one on the terrace. Price acceptable for London. Atmosphere was great. Space is limited though. Pretty young customers, I would say 25yo was the average age when we went. A bit of queue at the entrance but nothing major for us, kinda 5min waiting on a Saturday night. Im not sure about any dress code but I would suggest smart/casual. Overall a great experience.

Go to the 40th floor and enjoy the view...here you can spontaneously get a seat. Prices are a bit high but completely okay for this ambience. The location is open 24/7...so its worth coming late. Even if the food could be better... again and again.

Brilliant location 120 meters high in London! Delicious dishes with excellent wine. Good service for fair prices. Highly recommended. Reservations in time are definitely recommended. Great to do with teenagers as a family.

The severe allergy risk was extremely well handled by the service & kitchen staff. The separate menu was super helpful and made it a very stress-free visit. Sadly, we thought the background music was too loud. We were sitting at a table for four. The loud music made people talk at the top of their voices. We also thought the menu/sharing concept was confusing. The location and food quality are special enough, so why not make the menu simple so that you dont have to communicate with the service staff so much to understand how big portions are, how much to order for the whole table etc. The food quality was outstanding, thank you! Dietary restrictions: The severe allergy risk of my husband was extremely well handled by the service & kitchen staff. The separate menu was super helpful and made it a very stress-free visit.

I just went with my best friend on Monday, Dec 9th and it was incredible! It is the holiday season, so the restaurant was decorated beautifully. The view was stunning - we sat by the bar and overlooked the Thames. Our waiter, Adam, was exceptional! He helped us pick our menu items and gave us wonderful recommendations that were spot on. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make the meal and experience special for us. Your waiter, and the service they give, can make all the difference - and Adam made all the difference that day! I would highly recommend this place - and we enjoyed the Tropic drink, the overnight oats, and the french toast - alongside some yummy coffee. Do yourself a favor and make sure you stop by!

The experience of dining high over London is amazing. Coming at a slightly later time (21:30) definitely paid off for us as we were able to get a window table.The Duck & Waffle combination was the best thing I have eaten for quite some time and the not so standard drinks were also quite good. The Service by Maria was always quick and everybody was very caring.Would absolutely recommend!

Amaizing view and average food. First and definitely last time visiting this place the service is the worst here , staff is so rude and unprofessional. I ve booked a table for my friends first time visiting London and I was so disappointed . The food from the table was brought to use in different times so we had to eat separate also we ve received the sides after we finished eating. One of the managers came to our table to take of the service charge from the bill and refund the deposit but this didn t happen . They send me an email the next day to apologise for the inconvenience and since then no one is responding to my emails , I ve send at least 6 emails and they ignor me and the deposit is still not received as promised. Very disappointing, avoid this place at all costs

40th floor restaurant with amazing views. It can be very popular best to book in plenty of time. However they will let you walk in and visit the bar which is ok for solo or couples. The food was amazing and the prices fair. considering the location and quality. Ill be back to try the breakfast pastries on my next trip.

The good: It has a great view. The bad: At 6pm on a Friday evening, they were out of several things on the menu, including the only vegan main option, the namesake mock duck and waffle. It left light bite options, a soup or a lentil ragu. I expressed dissatisfaction with the waiter who said I should be happy there was a light bite option and offered no alternative, just stared at me until he said, Ill fetch a manager The manager was really nice. He spoke to the chef and said theyd prepare something for me to have with a vegan waffle. It was unfortunate that was sprouts in mashed squash that in no way paired with a waffle in taste or texture. They did give two pieces of sourdough toast and hummus and olives gratis which was nice of them. I also enjoyed the corn ribs I had as a starter. Both dining companions had the normal duck and waffle. They both thought it was fine, and enjoyed the waffle much more than the duck. I wont ever go back, but there is (im sure) a better experience to be had here.

Disappointing for vegetarians. Two vegetarian meals on the menu and one was unavailable. When we pointed out to the server that the other one was not vegetarian because it contained parmesan, she argued with us that parmesan is vegetarian (it isnt if its real parmesan). Two vegetarians had to eat non-vegetarian dishes or sit with nothing whilst the rest of the group were catered for. Would not return.

I had an amazing time at Duck & Waffle. The entire staff was warm and welcoming. As a solo diner, it means a lot when staff go out of their way to make sure youre having a good time and feeling safe. I ordered the Duck & Waffle, given the restaurant s namesake dish. While the duck was flavorful, the dish felt overpriced at £26 for half a waffle and a fried egg. I arrived 30 minutes ahead of my reservation and waited for my friends to join me. During that time, I was repeatedly approached by waitstaff asking when my group would arrive and whether I wanted to order, which felt overly intrusive. The service overall was disappointing. At one point, I had to leave my table to grab the water jug myself to refill my glass, as the staff were unresponsive. The atmosphere was uncomfortably loud, making conversation difficult. I found myself shouting just to communicate with my companions, which added to the stress of the experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. Based on this visit, I wouldn t recommend dining here again.

we were visiting friends in London and on the last evening we made a reservation at Dugs and Waffles. The fun begins as soon as you enter thanks to the friendly, cheerful welcome. Then the ride up and the great view of London all around. Simply fantastic Here in the restaurant, too, the staff greet you in a friendly manner and serve you professionally. The food and wine were great. What we also found worth mentioning is that no exaggerated or unusual clothing is necessary. It is all very casual and relaxed. Our conclusion: we will be back

We went on a Sunday lunchtime for brunch. The place is incredible because on the 40th floor of a tower with a breathtaking view... if the weather is nice... unfortunately the weather was foggy and rainy, so we couldnt enjoy the view. The food was good but the service was deplorable. The waiter was rude. When we called him to place an order or to find out where our dishes were, which were arriving slowly, he pretended not to see us and rolled his eyes and blew without hiding. He even allowed one of his colleagues to make fun of us and laugh while making a don t care hand sign. He forgot our drinks and dishes. Most of his colleagues showed the same enthusiasm... In short rotten atmosphere where you are made to understand that you are not welcome but a 13% tip automatically applied. Perhaps this restaurant should consider eliminating this automatic tip to regain the friendliness of its staff...

Had a mixed experience here. Starting with something positive. I was served by an incredible gentleman, Paulo, who made my visit pleasant. Paulo was attentive and pointed out and explained some of the iconic buildings that the view could offer. I hope the management compliments him for his good attitude and service. Now to the negatives, when I first arrived, I hoped I was able to get a seat closest to the edge of the restaurant (allowing me an excellent unobstructed view of the city from the tower) but unfortunately the only exterior table that was left had its view obstructed by heavy fogging and condensation. Given that the main reason I (or most people) am here is because of the view, naturally I asked if there was another table and the staff said there were non available at the moment, however i did notice that there were some high tables when we were walking into the restaurant and so I requested to shift to the empty high tables with bar stools so that i could at least get some view (albeit restricted because of the building design) which they accomodated, but not without making a snarky remark which I happen to hear. One of the female staff spoke loudly to the other staff about my request for the high table (not sure if it is because she assumed i didnt understand her) and when her colleague gave her a visual cue that I could hear her, she looked over and quickly turned her back on me and continued her conversation in a softer tone. I understand it can be frustrating as it is not always possible to seat the customer where they preferred but the high table were empty and I did asked if I could be shifted there. I am not sure why she had to respond the way she did. It felt rude and unprofessional. Even if you must talk about your customer, you could consider doing it out of their earshot.

I had the best time at D & W yesterday! The view is fabulous, the food was divine and the service wonderful. Im a vegetarian and the veggie duck and waffle, harissa cauliflower and sticky toffee waffle were delicious and cooked to perfection. Adam served us with a warm smile and beautiful energy. He made the effort to converse with us put his heart into making us feel welcome and looked after. It was clear how much he enjoyed what he did. Thank you D & W and thank you Adam!

Last Saturday, Four of us went for dinner. Two meals turned up and the other two turned up when we had finished ours. Then to make things worse the two late meals were burgers and both were only partly cooked and had blood coming out of them and one of them was raw in the middle. This burger has given my wife suspected food poisoning as that s all she had all day so can t be anything else. She s still poorly now and it s Thursday.! She was being sick every day until Tuesday and then had diarrhoea. NOT GOOD AT ALL..

What an experience dining at D&W, from the flight to the 40th floor, taking in the stunning views and warm welcome at reception, so happy to finally experience D&W. I opted for the roast and my friend tried the signature duck & waffle, both dishes were absolute delicious. Every team member was incredible, serviceable and warm. Special shout-out to Prabin for his expertise and services. Definitely will be back to try the breakfast/brunch menu!

Decent food with a great environment

Our recent experience at Duck and Waffle was truly disappointing. I took a group of 13 staff members for drinks and dinner in a private room, and we encountered several issues that spoilt evening. Firstly, the service was incredibly poor. Our waiter was extremely rude, which is unacceptable for any establishment, let alone one we have frequently visited for many years. I emailed the restaurant to address these concerns, and was promised a response from a manager within 24 hours. Unfortunately, no response came. Following up again, I received a missed call and an email stating that management would call me back at 4:30 PM, but no call was received. The lack of communication and disregard for customer satisfaction is quite disappointing. This is not the level of service we have come to expect from Duck and Waffle and it was a letdown, especially considering our loyalty over the years. Its unfortunate that such a long-standing relationship has been marred by these recent experiences. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements the necessary improvements.

Excellent food. Steak tartare was a treat that can t often be found at many restaurants. Service sporadic - but I did feel forgotten about at times. Once I had my meal, I had to wait a while before plates were cleared and another round of drinks could be ordered. The view over London from 40 stories high is quite spectacular.

A bit on the expensive side for breakfast but the view was amazing. Had to wait to get in even though we had a reservation. Go for the duck and waffle when you are here. It is generally a good rule of thumb to buy the dish that shares name with the restaurant itself. Pro tip :)

The restaurant is on the 40th floor. At the bottom you will be greeted by a nice person and then accompanied to the elevator. When we arrived at the top, we were asked to wait in the front room, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. You will then be escorted to the table in a room at the back which is completely glazed. Fantastic view. The service came very quickly and so did our food. There is a selection of waffles, savory and sweet. There are also common breakfast options. I had avocado bread, egg and salmon. There were three of us and everyone was very satisfied. You definitely need the deposit of £20. We can only recommend the restaurant.

We had a Sunday roast, and as we were a group (8), we had to order in advance, which I would have preferred not to do. Menu was unclear, so I ordered veg as I thought they were not included (not listed). Turned out I did not need them. My beef was tasty, and it was a good portion. There was nothing special about the roasts, Yorkshire pudding, or veg. I have had better and paid a lot less. Cocktails were amazing. Well done for those. I guess you pay for the view and location. Would I go again? Probably not.

We went to the restaurant to celebrate my sister s birthday, and the experience was wonderful. In addition to the great atmosphere and delicious food, we were lucky to be served by Adam, who was incredibly friendly. Polite and very kind, he noticed we were speaking Portuguese and greeted us with a few words in our language, which made us feel at home. Moreover, he entertained my nephew, who was full of energy even performing magic tricks! Truly, it was service that made all the difference.

Outstanding! We had been before and had a great time and went for their special Thanksgiving meal. The food was excellent but more importantly our waiter was AMAZING!! We had subpar service all week, but they made up for it, made us feel special and heard. Will be returning!

Ive wanted to go here for a while its a one time thing as its expensive staff were really nice to squeeze us in we sat in the bar service was a bit slow but it was busy had the duck confit waffle and the caramelised banana and a matcha both were nice the Xmas decors also nice

We had an appointment at 8:45 they made us sit on a temporary table and after repeated requests if the table was free they made us sit 20 minutes later. We ordered French toast, Colombian eggs and vegetarian breakfast. Fresh and excellent quality food. Spectacular view. Due to the many customers they have they are a bit messed up with the service.
