Presenting, Kitchen E20. At the helm is Head Chef, Josh Deacon, who will be serving up a vibrant modern British menu inspired by Australasian influences, with colourful salads, bountiful bowls and indulgent larger plates. Housed underneath verdant boughs of ivy and fern, our open kitchen dining bar is the beating heart of the restaurant. With Josh's infectious and playful energy, join the fun and find the joy of freshly made, good food. This is kitchen theatre at it's finest and liveliest!
The veggie breakfast was nice and the fruit selection and multiple juices was what I needed. But for 20 quid, the price is abit steep. I think if portions were larger and buffet had more selection it would be great. The staff were amazing though and I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Staying at this landmark hotel for the first time. I initially wasn’t going to try the restaurant, as it seemed a bit chaotic, but the menu caught my eye. Small, but interesting. The aesthetic of this place is definitely trendy; think Hoxton crossed with Mayfair. There are tall ceilings, scattered tables and a hint of Instagram about those present. I am not trendy, but I dabble. I liked it. The menu has small and large plates. Opted for the traditional in this case and started with beautiful steak tartare - the perfect amount and such flavours. No egg yolk topper, but I will forgive that. For a main, something unexpected, a proper chicken and leek pie with chips. Wow, what a pie - this would be at home in any country pub. Fully raised with depth of flavour. Gorgeous. Love a pie. Pudding was odd; a sort of deconstructed tiramisu constructed to resemble a castle. Ladyfingers stand guard around a keep of creamy goodness. I laid siege and was victorious. The beer was peroni; as it was and as it should be. £6.50 a pint, a bargain for London. Overall a most excellent meal with good service / food arrived quickly and was well cooked. I would eat here again. There was a couple posing for lots of pictures in the bar. They come out well, they had many photographers. I don’t think the hotel would let a Deerdog do that though… 😆
Kitchen E20 is a great spot to relax and get some work done while enjoying a drink. The Stratford Club Sandwich was good, and I really enjoyed the Passion Project cocktail. The atmosphere is perfect for lounging, with a comfortable vibe that makes it easy to unwind.
I should have never ignored the reviews. I went here for breakfast with my mum, hoping to try a new local restaurant. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. For £20 per person, plus an extra £5 for tea or coffee, the experience was far from worth it. They claimed to offer a buffet, but it was unlike any breakfast buffet I've ever seen in my 35 years. The options were shockingly limited: just a selection of bread and two types of pastries—an apricot item and a croissant. It was truly disappointing. When the food arrived, both my mum and I were stunned. The reviews weren't lying—the food was bland and the coffee was just average. We ended up spending £45 and felt it was a complete waste. The only redeeming factor was the service. Our server was lovely and attentive, but the kitchen needs a serious overhaul. They could take a lesson from Turkish breakfasts, which offer a much more satisfying experience. This experience proves that a place can have stylish decor but still be a letdown. I won't be returning.
Pretty scary food price for what you’re given. The ‘Smashed avocado, chilli, lime & coriander, toasted sourdough, two poached eggs ‘ was £13 and the ‘Full English’: (Smoked bacon, Cumberland sausage, portobello mushroom, plum tomato, baked beans, hash brown & two free-range eggs) was £15. If you Google Morrison’s ’Ultimate breakfast’ it’s £8, half the price. We did pay £5 for accessing the breakfast bar so my husband got some cereal and pastries - also took a banana and apple to go which we didn’t think too cheeky given the price of everything else. Overall, the pictures will speak for itself unfortunately (basically exactly what it looked like when it arrived - we had both taken a bite before I decided to write this) The general atmosphere was lovely and relaxed, so the expectation that the food would be of better quality was certainly there. Wouldn’t recommend coming for breakfast or brunch!
Service was quite slow but we did go during Sunday lunchtime but the staff were friendly. Mains were ok but dessert was tasty and the interior was pretty. The music was a little loud so I couldn't hear my friends across the table well but overall a nice place to go for lunch.
Nice chilled vibe experience. Prices were same as other restaurants, ranging from £10 to £15. I ordered a sicilan sausage pizza which cost £15. Our drinks was a ginger beer and a peach jasmine drink that cost £3 each. Plenty of sitting places, space was huge and felt luxurious. Even though it was part of a hotel, it felt like a luxury restaurant. The decor were nice as well as the mood, colour, vibe and aesthetic designs as they were all matching. Our drinks and food came on time, we didn't wait long, perhaps 15mins I believe for the food to be served. Waiter was very nice and polite as they served with good attitude. There were 5 of us and we had to merge our chairs together, luckily the manager or waiters didn't say anything negative regarding what we did. There is also a nice complementary music that plays in the background to lively the mood and make it relaxing. The music though, is turned off around 11pm. Everywhere was also clean, our table when we took over the table and seats were clean to standard. The taste of the pizza was very nice, it has authentic taste as it is fire oven baked. The drinks not so much, nothing special. The seats were also very comfortable, and some of the seats do support and gives relief to your back, especially if you have back pains. Apparently they also do live jazz at certain days. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to impress a girl, this place is perfect for dates, especially with the live jazz music. Of course friends and family can hang out, but due to the vibe, this is more of chill hang out vibe restaurant. Well, that was the feeling I got when I came around 9pm.
Calming, classy interior with amazing food. We had another good experience at breakfast. The food was very tasty. We love the crockery they use, it is so simple yet beautiful. The waiter was very nice. He even advised us about the discount for local people. What a nice way to fish a meal:)
have been a regular for several years. Absolutely amazing atmosphere, lovely lounge seating area, great voice, great service, great drinks. 10/10
It wasnt that busy and had a very welcoming central fire (behind glass). Staff very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back when next back in Stratford.
Had a wonderful time and meal celebrating my partners B Day. Service by Dina was spot on (absolutely adorable/professional/friendly And a super well done To Petros for making it fabulasticly Special and Perfect
Always a great place for a meeting, relaxed and quiet. Service spot on too.
An absolute disgrace to the hospitality industry. I have never felt so affronted. The music is too loud; service was lacklustre - my meal wasnt hot enough and I had to quiz the waiter as to what he was proposing to do about. He begrudgingly said another would be cooked for me..but if course, by the time it arrived, the rest of the guests had eaten...and it was fir a birthday party. The wine was just poured - I wasnt offered the opportunity to taste it (I have a qualification 2 levels below a Master of Wine). There was no salt and pepper on the table; one of the guests didnt not have all their used plates taken away - even after complaining to one of the management team. Not everyone was offered a desert menu and the Maitre d has the temerity to say Hope to see you again . Not a cats chance in hell. We escaped to Union Social just nearby for a CIVILISED glass of wine after and a conversation as opposed to having to shout to make ourselves heard. If I could give it zero stars, I would
The place is nice and modern, however the food is not the best. My soup was no hot enough. The staff not really bothering themselves to check on you. Theyre just give you the food and thats all.
We waited 30 minutes and was told they didn t have sourdough toast. They brought this out. Tried to charge us £12 for this.
I had the pleasure of visiting Kitchen 20 and would like to thank you Adriana and Vanya for hospitality. Their exceptional professionalism, warm smile, and attentive service truly enhanced my experience as a guest of the Stratford hotel and made a significant impact on my overall hotel experience. Thank you to these ladies for outstanding service.
Pleasant set menu meal although portions very small.
Very disappointed to arrive for a special girls get together and find no Kitchen Disco despite it being advertised on the website. More like a hotel restaurant. The food was tasty and we did have bottomless drinks but shame on the management for false advertising. The music description was the only reason we chose this place over others.
Outstanding Service, Delicious Food and a Great Atmosphere I ve had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant twice in the past two weeks, and both experiences were exceptional. During my first visit, Iryna provided incredible service, taking great care of my friend and me with her warm and attentive approach. Her hospitality, along with the delicious food, made the experience so enjoyable that I knew I had to return. On my second visit, I was served by Adriana, who truly elevated the dining experience. From the moment I arrived, Adriana was welcoming and personable, instantly making me feel at home. She has a natural warmth that shines through in her service, making the entire experience feel personal and special. Adriana was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, helping me choose the perfect dishes based on my preferences. Her recommendations were spot-on and she checked in with me just the right amount to ensure everything was perfect without being intrusive. With staff like Iryna and Adriana, youre guaranteed a wonderful time. I definitely recommend this place and will certainly be back to explore more of the menu!
Freshly cooked food. Amazing quality - taste was awesome
Ridiculously awful service. Ordered bottomless and it took nearly half an our to get our first drink. Our waiter didn t seem bothered. Food nearly took an hour so we just left. DO NOT go here. Manager didn t even care that the service was awful.
Service was friendly and fast. Food was good. My son brought me here for my birthday brunch. Very relaxing atmosphere and enjoyable.
A very decent early evening meal. Staff and service very good . A tad on the pricey side for both food and drink Food : 4/5
Service and vibe was good. Food was honestly quite poor. The lobster and crab roll was burnt and the toast was charred on the outside. The crab inside was over cooked and dry. The scrambled tofu because of the jelly-like consistency actually made my friend throw up when we got home. Another over priced place which isn t worth the hype. Would come here for the vibe but would never order food from here again.
Just great place to be at, from breakfast, lunch, dinner, lounge, snacks, brilliant!
Food was not up to the prices! The beetroot risotto missed some things, was not tasty, I am sorry to say it. My friend had a burger and she said was not the best either. In my opinion the food must be improved, maybe hire more chefs or find another solution. Thank you!
Set menu for £15 was a waste of money. It was neither tasty, nor fulfilling. I really hope the restaurant will just serve more expensive and hopefully higher quality food, rather than try offering lower priced options as bad as this one. If I knew how bad it will be, Id rather spend £20-25 on a proper meal.
No complaints! Staff were very attentive and friendly. The pizza was good. Great location and lovely interior.
Wow! This place went from bad to worst!
Great place to enjoy brunch!! Good food but a bit slow with bringing it out the kitchen.
Extremely disappointed with my anniversary which I had here. Food was super overpriced for what it is, and the male waiters were rude. Manager came to see us asking to pay 40 pounds for a corkage fee on their advertised No corkage fee Mondays, he then acted really confused and walked away and didnt come back to apologise. Not sure if this is a scam they play out on tourists or visitors. Sadly wont be back here again.
The food was okay. I got pancakes, they were rock hard. But service was good and they changed them straight away.
Considering this was quite an upmarket hotel, it had quite friendly vibes to it. I was particularly impressed that it was frequented by people of colour, who clearly felt welcome there, a great thing to see. As this is not always the case.
Great bar with fantastic aesthetics, brilliant asset to the area. Disappointed to be charged 12.5% service charge when ordering at the bar. Yes this is discretionary, but I wouldnt expect this to be added on at all when ordering at the bar with no table service? A couple of flickering lights let the ambiance down and need to be resolved.
Very enjoyable restaurant. Very friendly helpful staff.
Good food and service. Great bottomless brunch.
Mediocre food, very few vegan dishes - waiters friendly, but very slow and very apologetic - they need to be. Bar staff were terrible, drinks wrong and slow. No plans at all to return. If you arent mid meal there at the moment dont bother.
Delectable place to wine, wine, and feel fine . Theres no faulting the location, parking, and interiors of The Stratford. Parking: 4hr - 24hrs is under £10.
We only had tea here, i liked the dragon tea which had a fruity balance to it. Haven t tried the food. Lovely live ambience!
The food was amazing and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. Would absolutely go back and recommend to anyone.
Lovely lively bar, very spacious with high ceilings and large windows. Waiter service but you can also go to the bar to order. Nice selection of bar food, pizza etc. DJ situated by bar so nice to have music playing.
100 percent Recommended!
5 course meal on xmas day. £120 per head. Starters and desserts ok. Main course so bad. Like school dinners. Tiny bit of sliced turkey breast. Undercooked carrots. Tiny rock hard roast potatoes. Partner had small piece of rare beef Wellington with one small roast potato. Very unacceptable main. I could have done a much better job with my eyes closed.
Excellent service and atmosphere
The staff and food are amazing. I have been multiple times and never had a bad experience. I would recommend this to anyone in the area. Food
Quite good food and atmosphere- family-friendly also.
We booked last minute on NYE and the team were super friendly, efficient service and delicious food. They even allowed us to stay for cocktails after as lounge area was full and luckily the table after us hadn t arrived. Highly recommend
Awesome place, great food and amazing service (shoutout to Mony for making us feel so welcome).
The steak was in my top 5 ever (get the peppercorn sauce), and Patrick the waiter is probably the best waiter in London.
Excellent service excellent food and drinks..
As always the service was great. Ive been here about 5 times now and I dont have a bad word to say. The food is nice and the cocktails are the amazing. Vegetarian options: They have a good selections
Such a lovely place with beautiful, modern decor, great music in the background, good innovative dishes and great customer service. Took my mum here for her birthday and even received a lovely dessert on the house for her - thank you for gifting us a lovely experience on my mums special day! The lady looking after us in a navy blazer with facial jewellery looked after us so well. Thank you! Will deffo return. Vegetarian options: The menu had a few veggie options to choose from Kid-friendliness: The staff were helpful and attentive toward the little ones Wheelchair accessibility: The venue can be entered from street level with flat surfaces throughout
Cannot recommend this place enough! Wish I got our servers name too (she has extremely long hair), she was so friendly and personable and made our experience great. We went for the bottomless brunch and had the burger and chips, drinks and food were fantastic. Quick service, didnt have to call them over once to top our drinks up they just kept an eye on us and arrived like magic when our drink was almost empty! I will most definitely be coming here again, thanks E20 :)
Trendy place to sit and drink coffee, have brunch (kitchen opens at 12pm), or cocktails - bottomless brunch available - plus a small restaurant - booking required unless youre happy to sit in the comfy area with short chairs and tables. It is inside the Stratford Hotel. Food
Mixed reviews about this place as when I attended a week earlier for dinner everything was good. This time our group all ordered burgers for lunch, all of which were over cooked and dry. They offered to try to cook mine again. This took a worrying long time considering the place was empty and came out over cooked again. The burgers are priced at £19 which should suggest quality meat, however the waiter suggested all burgers are cooked well done as standard which would suggest otherwise Maybe this place is hit and miss depending on the time of the day.
I ordered poached eggs on toast - and for £10 I received two pieces of plastic processed bread with two cold poached eggs. No butter. Dry and sad. My bill including the juice and service charge was £23. Really The Stratford?
A gorgeous breakfast!
Went for a birthday party. Seth was an amazing waiter. Bottomless drink and hearty main. Chef even gave my friend a happy birthday completely dessert. Definitely go back.
Its fine for drinks but there isnt any atmosphere. The staff when we were there really avoided eye contacted. It took us 10 minutes to be seated, then 10 minutes to get out first drink or in and then my friends pizza took a lot longer than our food. Its all disjointed here for a place that looks really high end. Vegetarian options: Many. Parking: This is a central area so you have to pay for parking. Kid-friendliness: There were a few children around!
Sourdough and Marmite butter what could be better. Great coffee too.
Very friendly, attentive and professional cocktail bartender. Comfortable Andy modern place to relax, and enjoy the happy hour.
Came for a meal today, waited for ages to order. When we ordered we waited a long while for food to arrive, our drinks came after food. one of the party asked for a coffee which arrived 25 minutes later after asking 3 times. I ordered avocado roasted vine tomatoes on toast which was gorgeous. Service
Great find. Will return. Food was awsome.
Oh my goodness what a great find bottomless Sunday brunch live music and Sev our server was amazing so attentive and catered for our ever changing order. A table of 17 was no problem. I m definitely coming back the food was exceptional. Highly recommend the burger and the pizza Sunday roast everyone loved their food. Thank you so much Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian catered for
Thanks for Christina for a great service.
Visited just after midday with visiting friends. Good priced menu with well prepared and tasty food. Staff very helpful, making it an enjoyable experience. Thankyou Food
Popped by for drinks, we walked in and no one came over to assist us. We were told to find our own seat and not shown to a table. We ordered drinks, the wrong ones came and no one came to check if everything was okay. We asked to pay our bill and they refused to take the 12.5% service charge off and said it needed to be paid. Appalling when the service received was insufficient. I frequently come to Stratford for business but will not return here now for the reasons stated. I would also appreciated the refund on service charge as we did not receive a decent service
Too loud to start.
Food was lovely! Service was a little slow and felt we had to fight to get their attention in such a small restaurant. However, once you did get hold of the staff they were quick to get food and drinks
Come here a lot as I m local. The staff is always really lovely and there is always a good vibe
Really nice, amazing food and altogether great
Poor service, food was below average.
Nice food, helpful staff, good cocktails
The meal was decent, smoothie are small and full of ice, but the service was excellent with very friendly staff. Occasionally, the music was a bit too loud.
Beautiful restaurant / Bar, gorgeously decorated. Cute for dates or casual meet ups with friends or family. Dog friendly as there is outside seating areas with protection from rain Friendly service and great entertainment from live singer. Had a great time here. We ate outside (was a little windy) and our food came a little cold to start with (warm not hot) and potatoes with roast with were not crispy unfortunately and brocoli tasted bitter from fast high heated cooking. Drinks were okay. Would still come here again as was my first time. Parking: Westfield car park A was closest.
RECOMMENDATION LEVEL: MEDIUM TO HIGH Chic & good ambience place. I love the floor light at the entrance Vegetarian options: There is few options Dietary restrictions: No Parking: Paid parking lot available for the compound Kid-friendliness: Yes as it is a big place with lots of food options. Also restaurant is annexed to a mall Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Went on friday around 5:30 for their set menu which is advertised until 6:30pm but I was told I need to pre book it and they can t serve it for walk ins. This is not even mentioned on the website. The waitress took our order for the set menu but shortly after the manager came over and informed us they don t do it for walk ins. Even the waitress said she was not aware of this policy
Great atmosphere however the kale salad left a lot to be desired the chips with curry mayo were first class
Cold undercooked eggs, oily chips and weak coffee were truly disappointing for the price. The staff and atmosphere were great though.
Great location and atmosphere, very cosy and comfortable deco. The staff members are friendly and responsive enough. Still, cant recommend this place; food quality is nowhere near matching the price tag. My wife had the vegi paella, and it tasted horrible, worst I had in a restaurant for a while.
Cool and professional with great staff lots of seating options bar and good open kitchen
Food was really tasty, but the portions were miniscule. The cheese plate was just bizarre - a matchbox-sized piece of cheddar, loads of chutney, and a teeny tiny Eccles cake (which was rock hard). Two mains, one sides, two desserts, a couple of drinks... and £120 spent. Ridiculously overpriced.
Nice atmosphere and venue. Sad the food was cold and had poor portion sizes, with no gravy and condiments. Do not recommend the Sunday roast for this reason. Sadly not worth it
Brunch fab
It was ok. Had a runny stomach straight afterwards. Maybe it was the egg. That was almost 2 years ago. The breakfasts are much better now. Yesterday I tried to enter with my pushchair, the accessible doors were not working do I had to go the revolving doors. What if I was a wheelchair user, I wouldnt have been able to yo through. It looks better with their Christmas decor. The service is good. Id give them 4 stars.
The pizzas here are good but service is terrible. Slow staff who got our order wrong twice and disappear for long times despite the restaurant not being very busy at all.
Lovely drinks break en route to West Ham footy!,
Wasnt impressed with service or food. Quality of food was ok compared to the hype the restaurant is getting. Service wasnt up to the 5 star standard. Ambience was good but was incomplete without the service and welcoming feeling
Had a group lunch at the E20 - was super difficult to find as their location wasnt completely accurate. They initially sent up upstairs to another terrace so overall some miscommunication here but ended up having a lovely brunch/lunch here. We were waiting for each round of cocktails to arrive as they were a bit slow, pizzas werent amazing and the eggs benedict were soft boiled, not poached - just a heads up!
We had drinks at the main bar, receiving excellent service from the charming, professional and friendly team: Polo and Stefan. Would absolutely recommend.
Nice venue, very limited dairy free food options
Service was poor had to keep reminding them about our drinks. Was told pizza would take over an hour despite having booked a table, them mainly doing pizza and only being half full. Food that was avaliable was good.
Nice, relaxed bar with comfortable seating.
Coffee looks whack... Ambience was good
Good service ok food
Lovely food. We had a charcuterie board as a starter followed by two halibut steaks. For desert a sticky toffe and a Eton mess both equally tasty Great service. Very tasty food On a final note ... A place to comeback soon.
Supposedly part of a 5 star hotel, the bar area looks shabby, the table waiter was not very attentive, and when we had ordered he returned some time later admitting he had forgotten what we asked for, then took another age to bring the drinks. Not impressed, wont go back
Very smooth
The food was delicious but the service was a let down. I was there two weeks ago and the service was amazing. Wonder what has changed? The waiting staff were friendly and apologetic. The waiting time for the main course was over 40 mins
Amazing food and lovely service
The experience at Kitchen E20 was wonderful in terms of service, the waitress was very kind, always smiling and attentive to our needs. We asked for a cocktail that was not on the menu and the bar staff were very kind to offer it to us, the time was a bit long for drinks but it was worth the wait. The food was good, the prices well above the limit for a restaurant located in this area and the portion are a bit small. The waitress was very kind to help us with the dessert recommendations, it was tasty but the presentation could have been better. I will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends.
Hospitality service was awful. No welcome, made to feel like an inconvenience for arriving early, asked for drinks, waitress never came back to take our drinks. When we left, thats the only time she spoke to us, I said we werent happy with the service and her response was ok. So I took my money straight down to Mother Kellys which was superb!
Terrible service. Went for bottomless brunch, and we were completely ignored after being seated and waited 30 minutes for our first drink. This was ridiculous because we chose this place primarily for the bottomless brunch, and this was timed for 90 minutes from the point we were seated. We then had to wait ages for refills and it was just not worth it. When we told them we had to wait so long for our drinks they denied it and said that we didn t wait that long, which was untrue and incredibly rude. The food was okay, but we were treated soo poorly by the waitstaff. I would not recommend this place for brunch at all.
Great staff Good value food Nice atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Westfield
Had the buffet breakfast, bit overpriced but good range of both cooked and cold breakfast items. Service was good.
Just went here for a couple of drinks with a friend, we ordered 2 pints of Peroni at a cost of £13 but were also charged an extra £1.63 service charge, we thought this was because we sat outside so we went to the bar the next time and collected the drink ourselves, still charged the same! Absolute rip off! Bar staff were confused when I offered a £20 note, said I would have to wait for a manager for my change, I was then asked to pay by card!!
From sitting down, took over 20 mins to get our drinks. Slow service.
Really nice ambience Food was good Staff and service was amazing
Delicious food with a warm, personal and excellent service by our waiter Patrick.... well be back! The two ladies from Belgium :-)
The charcuterie board was tasty, main meal (trout and pasta) wasnt as good as I thought it would be but still satisfying. Dessert was incredible!!! Had the panna cotta - best thing on the menu! - but also tasted my friends chocolate brownie which was also delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a relaxing ambience. Would go back. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access and spacious inside, ground floor level.
Cocktails are somewhat on the smaller side and not much choice, staff is quite slow and not particularly attentive.
Good vibes decent food and friendly staff, cant complain really
lovely food , location, décor, service. value for money. not too crowded and very nice clientèle. hidden gem found.
Exquisite food and ambience
Outstanding brunch ! The shashuka and the eggs with salmon were so good. Will definitely come back. The service was exceptional - we even got free drinks.
Great dinner and amazing service from Patrick
I came here with my family today for dinner and drinks. The food and drinks were great. We were served by Patrick who was a brilliant host and made our experience even better!
Best restaurant in Stratford enjoyed a lovely family evening here. Food was 10/10 and service from Patrick was outstanding. Patrick made our experience at this restaurant excellent. Highly recommend
Avoid! Booked months ago for birthday celebration, get a call a week in advance cancelling our table because kitchen was closed . When we challenged why, they admitted it was because a bigger booking came in but gave our booking back. Offered a round of drinks, fine, but then comedy of errors: forgot wine (so gave it free), had a menu of a random brunch and a roast (!?), no Yorkshire puddings or potatoes (or veggie option!) so ended up with beef roast and chips and cabbage. Bizarre. Staff tried their best (and brought birthday cake, albeit after dessert when we d asked for the bill) but also offered us a 20% discount which became 15% on further discussion. Just bizarre.
Very nice place where you eat well...especially the desserts
I hope the manager reads this and brings my comment to the pâtissier who is responsible for the creation of the dark chocolate ingot with honeycomb. You are a force for good in the universe and your work is making a difference. That thing is out of this world. I actually had to close my eyes to completely focus on it. Unreal. Great quality all around here. Pizza, shakshuka and eggs benedict were just delicious, great chai and earl grey teas, service was exquisite, elegant room, jazz music, honest prices. I mean, what else could I possibly want? Extremely, extremely recommended and chapeau to the management and the kitchen brigade for a job well done. I will be back very soon.
Overly priced, the food was ok wont be going back. I ordered the lamb wrapped in gnocchi what I got contained no lamb.
Great food and cocktails. Gorgeous terrace area... lovely Al Fresco vibe. Service was a little slow.
Enjoyed here, they have great food but not loads of variety. Friendly team - other than the female who is at reception on the phones(think she works mornings). Very off putting, but the guy is who answers the phone is amazing. I would say you are wanting to go here for a fancier meal than your nandos.
Great burgers but light spritz!
If this is the Stratford Hotel. The meal in.the day was good. But the breakfast after staying the night was poor.Kept us waiting ages
Lovely experience for brunch! I have never been there and it was my first time going for brunch at Kitchen E20. The place is spectacular with seats indoors and outdoors. Food was delicious we ordered glazed gravy gammon with potatoes and salmon eggs benedict along with two alcoholic drinks as well as creme brûlée for dessert. Food came spectacular decoration and waitress/ess are very attentive, friendly, always checking on us that everything is good. We had the kitchen at our sight and the open kitchen was splendid! There was really good organization in the kitchen as well as good communication and plates where fabulous! I recommend to everyone that would like to have a fancy brunch at east london near stratford international. I would definitely go back again.
Good when the pizzas are on the menu
Freekeh salad was delicious and service was very great and nice to see a diverse waiting team, very friendly staff and great quick service
Food hreat, but service could be bettet
Me and my miss went out for dinner and we didn t like the service my food was burned The glasses where not clean I have payed 115 pounds was not happy I would not recommend to anyone else stay away from this places No customer support or service
Super restaurant with extensive menus. Lovely cocktails and very very friendly service.
Absolutely spot on, took the family for my husbands birthday unforgettable experience food was exceptional. Service was outstanding. I thank them for making it special
We had a very enjoyable dinner today, and were impressed by the fact that in spite of its enforced closure during lockdown this restaurant has maintained its high standards - something which very few other establishments in which weve eaten have been able to do. This restaurant is in superb location .love this place
Nice place
Very accommodating, polite staff and lovely host.
Great food and fantastic service
The bottle of coke was only 200 mls for £3 what a RIP off
Service and ambience was good. My burger was dry and not worry the money.
We had a pleasant brunch! The place has high ceiling, tastefully decorated indoor and outdoor which I believe that it would makes a great cocktail place in the evening as well. We have avocado on sourdough toast and matcha waffle. Matcha waffle really had a strong matcha taste which is a rare find. Menus are reasonably priced and all staffs were very kind and helpful (they even split the menu into two plates for us to share). Average coffee.
We had a party of 7 for a 50th birthday celebration. If was not the best of days weather wise and one of the staff members kept using the door next to our table to access the outside area which he would leave open. Our table and another would get sprayed with the rain and it was also cold. He didnt seem to care despite both tables raising concern, luckily another senior member of staff saw the issue and resolved it. There was also an issue regarding a number of dishes being sold out which wasnt great. The service wasnt the best either, once our original waitress had finished her shift we found ourselves waiting a long time for the bill and then another long time for the payment to be taken. Having spent a lot of money it was a bit disappointing. I am hoping these are just teething problems as it has promise. The food we did manage to order was tasty enough and well presented.
Food was excellent, staff very friendly. One star taken away because the music in the restaurant is too laud. Could barely hear person next to me not to mention someone at the end of the table. Would still recommend for a good meal!
I wish i could rate more than 5. This place is the gem of Stratford.
Decided on an impromptu dinner at Kitchen E20 - such a fantastic experience from start to finish. Loved the open space and layout of the restaurant. For once the background noise was quiet enough to have a conversation (as an as Audiologist, something I notice right away). Food was delicious. And service from Josh, Daniella and Tia was exceptional! Thank you for a lovely evening! 100% recommend.
Amazing environment, great food and service. A little expensive, also I noticed that there werent many vegan or vegetarians plates.
Don t bother ordering room service to the lofts - they either get the order wrong or don t have what s on the menu
Lovely place. Enjoyed the food
Excellent food, excellent service!
Food and drinks were okay but very poor service.
The kitchen does a really delicious brunch menu. I really can recommend the eggs benedict which is divine. However the dessert choice can use the addition of a really good peach/apricot cobbler/crumble or some sort of blueberry/apple pie, all the good pudds are missing; and you may have a bit of a wait for service.
Great food, cooked to perfection
Nice food.
Friendly service and good selection of small dishes as well as more filling choices. Will go again.
Main course was served on cold plates and food was luke warm
Food was very tasty and well presented
Decent food but really poor service (super slow and part of the order never arrived).
Good service and food quality.
Good food, but the service was ok.
Great place for a relaxed yet sophisticated brunch. The staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was very delicious. We had Eggs Royale, and they were yummy! Would love to come again.
To be honest its difficult to find words to describe todays experience here. We pop in very hungry to have quick late lunch. Quinoa Salad we had was horrible, avocado puree brown, tasteless, big lump of quinoa with few peaces of mango and walnut crumbs. Chef not bothered to mix dressing as you see on the photo. Pizza soggy, chips too salty. The only thing we enjoyed was mint tea and prosecco. One star for the food.
Spacious
Service wasn t great to be honest. Food was overpriced and ok. I ordered a pizza and a small side and a smoothie. I ve had better food for a fraction of the price so not much to rave about. However the venue is 10/10 so if that is more important then I d suggest at least one visit. But keep in mind it is a brassiere so they have a thick drinks menu to go through! I would skip the food. And enjoy the company or your friends and the venue
Really an amazing place for food and drinks great live music with an energetic ambience. I will be going again had an amazing date night with my partner here.
Excellent Porchetta Sunday lunch.
Manager is a total joke. Former staff alarmed me they use expired food and the kitchen is messed up. Well done.
Nice place, nice drinks. Unfortunately, when the kitchen closes, the waiters at the bar area stop serving bar snacks which makes no sense. A bit expensive as well.
Delicious brunch, the matcha waffles with berries are delicious and the eggs Benedict and royal are also suprime! The lattes and decafs are also tasty! Fast service and great decorations
