Modern Indian Restaurant and Cocktail Bar
Festive dining but make it modern Indian! . We kicked things off with Achari Chicken Tikka, crispy Kurkure Shrimp & Squid, and melt-in-your-mouth Lamb Kebabs 🔥 . For mains, we enjoyed the creamy Chicken Tikka Masala and hearty Lamb Rogan Josh, paired with garlic naan and dal. 😋 . And the grand finale? A warm spiced chocolate brownie that hit all the right notes. 🍫 If you're looking for festive vibes with a modern Indian twist, this menu is a must-try! 🥂🍴 📍Location: Piccadilly 🚇 Closest station: Charing Cross 💰Price: £42pp for bites, starters (4) and main
Absolutely phenomenal experience, really. I recommend to anyone. Firstly, the Sunday brunch for £35 pp is so worth it. My friend and I were running late for our reservation, and yet the staff seated us obligingly. They kept the starter buffet open a little longer for us, we really appreciated the hospitality and service. When we called on the waitstaff or managers, they dropped what they were doing to meet our requests as a priority. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I can’t compliment the service enough! Secondly, the decor and general aesthetic was so ambient. They have live music and performances during Sunday brunch and we managed to catch the end of it. The band really matched the tone of the restaurant, it was lovely. Thirdly, the cocktails. Oh. My. Gosh. So we ordered the Punjabi Punch, and punch it did. It was beautifully crafted. We told the bartender as such! A true mixologist. The food, however, a little disappointing. The starters were at times overpowering but not in a good way. We didn’t get a chance to try their pani puri, so can’t comment on that. The fish main was exquisite, must try, but their other mains were underwhelming. The desserts were delicious too! Overall, fantastic place. I definitely want to visit again asap and take all my friends.
The best Indian food I’ve ever had. A great place to eat especially if visiting the Theater. Complimentary ginger shot. I recommend tipping as the service fee rarely gets to the servers. Highly recommend this restaurant
The best Indian food I had in London this time. I can surely say it’s better than a lot of restaurants in India itself. Ambience is classy and food quality is top notch. Service is very approached too. If someone is looking for Indian food in London, this would be the first preference I suggest.
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Farzi Cafe, and without a doubt it was a dining experience unlike any other. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff and an inviting atmosphere. Every course was meticulously cooked and flavorful beyond any expectation we had. The staff were incredibly attentive! The food is spectacular not only in taste but in presentation. Farzi Cafe is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a refined dining experience. I highly recommend this as a must-try restaurant, you will not be disappointed!!!!
Really interesting concept of having buffet style Sunday lunch and had counters to cook street food on the spot for us. The mains were really good and there were plenty of selections for dessert. Really good value to get everything below £40. There was also a magician in house, really entertaining. As well as free in house henna service. The live singing was amazing too.
Discovered Farzi at the taste of London food festival. The food was so amazing we had to visit the restaurant. this did not disappoint. Very authentic Indian food with a modern twist. Wonderful atmosphere and outstanding customer service. we have already booked our next visit.
Quite honestly one of the best meals we had whilst visiting England from Canada! Service, atmosphere, and food we're impeccable. Sunny was a wonderful and absolutely professional server! Would not hesitate to return.
Okay, so we were staying in Picadilly Circus at The Dilly, and this was one of the closest, highest rated Desi food places. I am always skeptical of the Desi food anywhere outside of home, but my husband was craving Desi food so off we went. We opted for the Taste of Farzi menu, which may seem a pricey, but I assure you there is SO MUCH FOOD that it is well worth it. But not only is the quantity amazing, I was clearly shocked at how good the quality of the food was, as well. The items kept coming and coming and coming, and each of the starters were so good, that by the time we got to the mains we felt full. The Fryums and the Chaat came first - the chaat was so well balanced, sweet and sour and the crunch from the fresh green apple REALLY set it apart. The fryums had such an amazing dusting on top of them, that even my 7 month old approved! The Kurkure Shrimp and Squid were STARS - despite being fried they were light on the palette with the punchy garlic cream being the perfect complement. The texture of the Lamb Shami was too pasty for me, although my husband loved it, but taste wise they were still absolutely fantastic. The achaari chicken came last, and seemed like such a small portion but MY GOD the punch it packed was phenomenal. I officially wanted to quit after the chicken, because I did not think it could be topped. Then came the mains - the CTM Chicken Tikka Masala (my least favorite of all Indian food) was truly a massive surprise for me. Not your usual chicken tikka masala, this one was very well balanced and proportioned. Not too much tomato, not too much spice, just the perfect kick with the right seasoning. *Chefs kiss* the tawa fry was to die for. The Rara Gosht was really loved by my husband - I liked it, but the others were the real stand outs to me. We really badly wanted dessert, but we had ZERO space. We did order the Kalamansi Mojito that I cannot recommend ENOUGH, and the smoked old fashioned that really did come smoking and was delicious. The service was so friendly, attentive and especially accommodating of my 7 month old. Everyone was super friendly and nice. The ambience is also top notch, a real delight. I will be returning here for sure - this place is a DREAM! Highly HIGHLY recommend!
Very Good, very tasty and original!
All the dishes were delicious, and the portions were generous. The staff was super friendly, polite, and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful as well. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely come back
Outstanding tasty food. Very attentive staff. Himalaya cocktail terrific
Blessy was an amazing waitress. All the food delicious!!
Top level food and service. Special shout out to Blessy.
Really great meal, perhaps a tad pricey for the portions but all delicious and the service was some of the best Ive had in London in the last year.
Fabulous food. Quick service and friendly helpful staff
Derinda looked after us very well and the meal was delicious. Thank you for fitting us in without a booking. Seasons greetings! James
Food is as brilliant as ever. Niloy was a wonderful host. Thank you
Amazing food. Our server when we arrived was not very friendly or professional and lacked basic etiquette. However after Rajesh took over, our whole evening took a different turn and was a delight. Food
Great atmosphere, lovely food and good service.
Great food, good service and nice ambiance!
We didnt eat but the food smelt gorgeous. Wonderful cosy atmosphere and warm service Service
Service was really slow (waited over 1 hour for the lamb) and main food below average in taste Im little suspicious of the high rating. It is possible there could be many five star ratings from bots.
Awesome overall!!! Great magician too to keep awaken the kids in us all.
Service was amazing, there was a good vibe and food was fantastic. Our server was very attentitive and welcoming. Would definitely come again!
Had a lovely afternoon here. The food was amazing and there was plenty of it. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Love the entertainment too. Will definitely be coming back.
Great brunch at this price point in Central London! Only suggestion would be to make it a 2 hour slot so it doesnt feel rushed! :)
Very nice atmosphere
I booked Sunday brunch for my birthday and we were greeted by Vrajesh, who accommodated us very well. Despite being 45 minutes late, we didnt find any problem with our reservation. It was a buffet with starters including veg n non veg and chaats like dahi puri and tikki with extraordinary chutney. Seriously, I never had that yellow chutney before. Other starters were paneer, chicken tikka, soup, and live uttapam counter and many other like spring roll, samosa. Then we had to choose one main each so we chose a mix of chicken, lamb and fish. All were delicious and they came with rose rice ,daal and roti. Desserts were a selection of cakes and jalebi with rabri and gulabjamun. We also ordered a few drinks from the menu. The buffet was 35pp, and now comes the time to review the staff there so a big thanks to Rashi, vrajesh,Agnelo, jyoti,Savio and the live singer Dhiren and his team. Plus, the magician ,he is a newly appointed guy who came and showed us mind-blowing magic in a few minutes..man trust me my son will son call u for more work . Thanks for that special birthday cake and wishes . Overall a very good experience to celebrate special occasions. Guys do give us some offer and we will come again n again. Bowled over ..its not the farzi of dubai where u get molecular gastronomical food. Only same name . Thank you
The restaurant is highly recommended, the food is excellent and the service is also very good. Absolutely top for modern Indian-British fusion cuisine.
Great service and food! Staff were very attentive and looked after our group well
Thank so much to all the staff, so very friendly and accommodating. Made our anniversary so special with and anniversary card signed by all the staff. Would recommend and have already to family and friends. They are booking with you. If there was more stars available, we would be giving you all. Thank you and see you soon
We are used to many restaurants but this quality of service and these flavors have become very rare, we ate very well. Thanks to our server Iloy who was able to advise us on the menu and who allowed us not to make waste. Dietary restrictions: The entire menu is Halal
There was a rowdy and extremely loud private party in the bar upstairs. Drunken people screaming to blasting music, you will be better off having diner at a boozer. Impossible to have a conversation while eating very average food. Wetherspoons is a Michelin star restaurant in comparison.
Amazing fusion food. Will be back.
Had the most amazing time at Farzi Cafe !! The food was really good. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive
Popped in for a quick drink before going to the theatre next door. The food smelled amazing so will have to go back and try it out!
Went there for anniversary and had a lovely time!! Very good indian food , I would definitely recommend it!
Delicious food, excellent service
Great little restaurant. Very good service and ambience, but food isnt the best Indian weve had. Its not bad at all and the the portion sizes are also pretty good.
We absolutely loved our time at Farzi- a great varied menu, lots of entertainment which is so refreshingly different from an average restaurant, and amazing value!! Will definitely be coming back here again- great Sunday lunch.
Amazing food, the butter chicken was so good! Divija our bartender was so friendly as well and gave great recommendations! Food
Went for their Sunday brunch. The mains were good but buffet starters and desserts were average at best. Service especially from the main floor manager(s) was awful, with drinks orders incredibly late. Will not be going back.
Extremely small portions, prices are a scam. Waiters lie about portion sizes
Brilliant
Vrajesh made our experience truly unforgettable! From the vibrant Punjabi punch to the delicious food, and how could I forget the thoughtful and delightful birthday surprise! Every moment was exceptional. I can t wait to return on my next trip to London!
Miss Rashi served us the food with a very nice smile .
Niloy was a very attentive and polite server.
I visited with a group of 20 people, and we pre-ordered our main dishes and desserts when reserving our spot. The vegetarian options I tried were absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. That said, I have a couple of notes about the desserts. The brownie was a bit too dry for my liking, and I couldn t detect the spicy flavor mentioned in its description, which was a bit underwhelming. I also tried the tiramisu. While it was a wonderfully light dessert, it didn t quite align with my taste preferences I would have enjoyed something with a bolder flavor to complement the spice in the main dishes. Overall, it s a great place for a fancy dining experience, offering delicious food and an elegant atmosphere.
Super food, great atmosphere, staff were terrific. Would highly recommend as a pre-theatre venue.
So welcoming, great food. We had the taste of menu to try a few things.. there was so much food between two and really interesting flavours. Mocktails were lovely.. not too sweet. Will be back
We had the pre-theatre menu and the food was delicious. The services at the beginning were excellent but after we finished the main course, it was very slow.
Came in for drinks and served by sonny, lovely service. Ambience was superb, really nice music and the wine was very good
Amazing customer service and I felt very welcomed and acknowledged by Divija and her attitude was most welcoming, overall the atmosphere was a 10/10
Lovely place - great service and the hints of authentic street food serving is another great touch.
The atmosphere and ambience was lovely. Service was friendly. We tried the kurkure prawna and calamari which was nice. The lamb rara gosht was okay. The lamb should been soft and melt in the mouth which it wasnt. The bone marrow flavours in the curry was a nice touch. Mango lassi was lovely.
Lovely starters. Food selection was great. Starters really nice and great desserts. A Sunday well spent
Could not have chosen a better place to eat. Staff went above and beyond to make this a very pleasurable eating experience.
Absolutely Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. The lunch buffet was amazing, whilst listening and enjoying the live singer belting out amazing songs !! Will highly recommend going to Farzi for a lovely Sunday afternoon Thank you Farzi Team Best wishes Anwar
The food was not good at all. We could not eat it. It was very overprice. The service was good.
Not happy with the food no taste at all . I dont understand when you open a Indian restaurant its suppose to be full of flavours not bland food with and charging ridiculous amount.
Fast efficient good quality
Wonderful meal and tasty mocktails
On the pre theatre menu thee mains were very good (although would have been preferred if they were spicy). Its a good spread when they bring out the Dal, Nan and rice. However, the starter felt like a prank. Ordered the vegetable dumplings and it was literally just two tiny gyoza style dumplings. The dessert was also a massive disappointment. Tiny, and possibly one of the worst cheesecakes I have ever had. Its clear that theyre good at the core Indian stuff but the rest are just fillers on the menu. Id suggest going for a main and not bothering with the rest.
Great interesting food. Service was not great. Ordered a drink on arrival and waiting 10 mins before having to ask again. There were two other people in .? Waiting staff very timid and not answering questions about menu clearly. When asked to take food away as couldn t finish it they brought Tupperware to the table to pack up myself. Felt a bit odd. Customer service needs refining, but all in all really tasty food and good atmosphere/decor.
Just popped in for a drink and appitizers and didn t disappoint! Food was outstanding and the service was great!
Superb authentic food ++++
The most amazing stylish bar tender Divija who has created the best cocktails! She is brilliant!
Lovely food and great service
We went to Farzi for our Christmas Party this year and they were so accommodating. The food was brilliant and the service was amazing. I will definitely be returning. Thanks again for an unforgettable night.
Food was great, drinks were great, shoutout to Rashi, top notch service made sure everything was to our liking
Amazing place. The best bartender is Divija. She was fantastic, and accommodating. If in this area, must come!
Great food & excellent service. All the dishes/drinks were so good & our server Rashi was super polite & friendly. Overall, one of the best dining experiences in London!
It was such a pleasure to be able to dine at Farzi. Rashi was excellent and very professional. Will be dining here again. Food
The food and the service were amazing! Thank you so much for your hospitality, this was the best birthday lunch
Amazing food, amazing staff
Excellent service, Fab Food, and no long waits. Perfect for nights out at theatre next door
Good food and excellent service Vegetarian options: Good food Food : 4/5 |
Amazing indien restaurant. Thank you Dhirender for the great service.
I only rated the food as 4 of 4 as we only had cocktails, but we could smell it and heard comments from neighbouring tables, so we d definitely come here to eat next time we re in London. Our cocktails were served by Rashi & Sunny and both were attentive and welcoming.
The staff could not have done more to make our experience an enjoyable one. The open kitchens are great and even better with the head chef on the pass! Will visit again! Railway chicken and lamb biriyani
I visited Farzi Cafe on my Birthday. The food and service was amazing. The staff were very attentive.
Delicious! And great service from Niloy
Wonderful pre theatre experience. Open in Sydney!
Excellent food!! The manager, Sunny, took a lot of time to guide us through the menu and help us with our choices! Thanks for giving us a very enjoyable evening!
Great food and one of the best service in london the service from Niloy his service is top Notch.
I can t say enough good things about Savio, who helped me organize my party at Farzi Cafe a few days ago. From the very start, he held my hand and guided me through all the logistics. His calm and professional demeanor made the planning process so much easier. Whenever I encountered issues, Savio was quick to find solutions, and he worked hard to accommodate my budget, which I truly appreciated. His helpfulness and positive attitude made all the difference. The atmosphere at Farzi Cafe was perfect, and the food was absolutely delicious everyone couldn t stop raving about it! Savio s professionalism and friendly demeanor made the experience even better. If you re looking to host an event, definitely reach out to Savio. He ll make sure everything goes smoothly!
Beautiful interior, comfortable seating. Food was nice but its very exspensive for the portions you get! Tiny dokras were nice as a complimentary bite to eat. We ordered Angara Paneer Shashlik this consisted if 2 skewers with 3 pieces of paneer and that was £14.50. I was asked to keep my knife and fork from my starters to use for my main. I refused and asked for a fresh set.Mains we ordered Haveli Kofta, £18 with 2 small cutlets in gravey again nothing special for the price we paid. Overall food was nice but overpriced. Our waitress came over far to quickly to take our food order as we were still looking. During our starters I was still eating my husband had finished and she started to clear the table, also whilst we were still eating our starters she asked if we want to order our mains!! I was still in the middle of eating!! Very rude. Its ok to try once but suggest you go to Open Table and get your 50% off voucher to eat, I would not pay full price at this restaurant.
Amazing food!!
Waiters. Top notch. Really attentive. Friendly and professional. Food. Really good. Have dropped in quality since the last visit two years ago. But definetely good. Plating. Outright boring. Naan bread really good but the portion was half the size you can expect. And then the reason for only three stars. They add a service charge to the bill. I would gladly have given a 15% tip based on our waiters charm and attentiveness. But let me choose if I want too. You can definetely suspect that it does not land in the pockets of the staff.
Lovely meal- really attentive staff- would highly recommend
Fabulous restaurant. Staff lovely. Food 5 star
Great food and professional service. Will come back for sure
Fantastic food with a great atmosphere. Service was excellent. My thanks to our host Sunny who looked after us so well. Would recommend 100%.
Quite simply, fantastic! The best service we have ever had in London. The staff are very professional and look after you discreetly but exceptionally well. Sunny was amazing. Thank you for such wonderful food on our wedding anniversary. P.S. The complimentary lentil cake was delicious
Our new favourite restaurant in London- this place is an absolute gem! Exceptionally good quality food that are well-portioned and for a really good price! Sunny the manager was extremely attentive and even gave me a free drink (lychee chai mocktail) on the house- so refreshing and a lovely surprise! We were also given free lentil cake as an appetiser! I forgot to take pictures as the food was honestly incredible and we absolutely devoured it! We got the theatre menu for £22 pp which was such good value, but we will be coming back for the thali for £15.95 pp- they don t do on Fridays and Saturdays! but highly recommend the chicken tikka as a starter and the Dahl that comes with the mains is a notable mention too. But honestly everything was amazing and the flavours were incredible. Thank you to the staff- we will definitely be returning!!! Vegetarian options: Paneer, Chickpeas, lentil daal
Beautiful food! The atmosphere was incredible, everyone made sure we were well looked after. Would definitely come back again!
My brother had booked an unforgettable experience for my sisters and I at Farzi London . From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and catered to our every need. One of the highlights was the cocktail/mixology knowledge of the drinks expert. Their expertise truly enhanced our experience, and it was a treat to see the lab where these incredible drinks are crafted. Learning about the ingredients and techniques added a fascinating element to our visit. We loved making cocktails behind the bar, smelling and tasting the ingredients was first class and so much fun. The matching of the drinks with the food was outstanding. The food was also delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor. The menu had a great variety of options, making it easy to find something for everyone in our group. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the perfect setting for our lunch. If youre looking for a place with fabulous drinks, excellent service, and a lovely ambiance, Farzi London is a must-visit
This place is one of the best fine dinning. Definitely worth trying. I cant wait to be back here. OLD FASHIONED IS one of the best drinks that they serve here a must try !!!
Very friendly staff and delicious food
We absolutely loved the food and the service 6 of us, 1 gluten free celiac had a variety of starters and mains, and loved every dish. My husband and I have been 4 times, with seasonal menu changes and always come away wanting to come back. An absolute must try!
Lovely food, great staff and fantastic hospitality. Love the live mehandi and face painting counters and great live singing too...definitely will be visiting more often.
It was expensive lots of other better places there in good price with quality food .. not recommended
One of the most delicious indian food we ever eat outsid India. Price was bit higher side and cusyomer service can be improved but food iss amazing.
Amazing food that took me right back home. From the Dahi Puri being assembled right in front of you, to the mouth watering Parle-G cheesecake that is served in a well of chai, Farzi was an immaculate dining experience. The only shortcoming was the staff, who were quite cold.
Overall I would say we had a good experience at Farzi, but unfortunately nothing outstanding, there were many things that could have been improved. Service was outstanding, cannot fault any of the servers we had, they were helpful and friendly and very nice. The food however we found to be overpriced and quality not of the standard we were expecting. The kale spinach chaat was too tough and heavy taste of tamarind instead of being lighter and better blend of the yoghurt and chutneys. the railway chicken overwhelming taste was just chilli rather than other spices and flavors and portion a little small to share, the bread basket and biryani were nice. Haveli kofta was two patties which then had gravy poured on them, this is not a traditional style kofta and as a result it was dry by the time you got to the second patty, staff were good and brought over extra gravy but this should have been balanced better, finally the crispy okra and sweetcorn batter was more like a fish batter rather than the crispy spiced batter which has masala sprinkled additionally we could not taste the okra so this was a let down as we were looking forward to this the most. Nothing that cant be fixed but a few tweaks here and there and we would gladly be back.
Lovely restaurant, reasonably priced with excellent service. We were served by a brilliant lady called Rashi, she was attentive and very sweet, the dishes were gorgeous and the food came quickly! :)
Never had such a pleasant evening. Compliments to the chef and our server Rashi.
Good food and an unbeatable atmosphere, super attentive waiters
Delightful experience, simply amazing!! I was but hesitant but right from the moment you step in to entire dining experience left me in awe. Customer service was really good, we were served by Rashi, she was very friendly, suggested us the recommended dishes and it was amazing. Food tasted so good!! I expectedly good. Portion size was good too. 100% recommended and I would visit again in future.
Service was exceptional and even the food! Raashi and Mihika were taking care of our table and they were super sweet, always kept checking on us. It was my husband s birthday and they got a cake with a sparkling candle on ot and even gifted a discount voucher. Super satisfied and top on our recommendation! Food
Very good food, excellent service and very cozy and relaxed atmosphere, definitely recommended
We had a fantastic experience at Farzi London with a tasting menu. The service is fast and attentive, the food is superb and tasty. We had the Fryums and Pappadums, Drums of Heaven, Lamb Kadhai with Dal Makhni/butter naan/steamed rice, and Chocolate Indulgence for dessert. Everything was top notch. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed and cosy too. Overall a really great experience, highly recommended.
Fantastic food, the drums of heaven certainly do live up to their name, and the lamb kadhai was fantastic. Sophisticated, warm, vibrant flavours, making the whole meal totally wonderful. Was a new find for us, never been before but will certainly come again!
Farzi: More hype than bite. The service was alright, but the food was kinda meh and way too pricey
Absolutely wonderful food! Really enjoyed it, will definitely be back :)
Not the best Indian food to be had in London. Average food, below average service. Wouldn t recommend.
Superb bistro. A must for spicy food lovers!
It was a really nice meal. We had lamb biriyani. Highly recommended this
Everything from start to finish was absolutely flawless, can t wait to come back!
Food was tasty, liked the twist on classic flavors. Service was less than exceptional and atmosphere was okay.
Me and a friend dined here, 100% recommend. Good service and Atmosphere. Pictured is the Lamb Biryani
Indian food the way it should be
We loved the Indian street food element during the Sunday brunch and and loved the Lamb Badami Kurma. The entertainment was also a plus for our daughter and we enjoyed the live music. Such a great spot with family and friends.
Wonderful service beautiful food and good theatre menu !
Very nice food. The cart that delivers the pani puri really made me think back to the street carts in India. The staff was exceptional and super relaxed and accommodating of our requests. The ras malai was amazing for dessert. Food
Great food and generous portions, no need for dinner tonight! Sunny the restaurant manager provided an impeccable service .
The lamb skewers were great and the butter chicken was fine. The naan has flavors and crispy (personally prefer a softer texture). The price was on a higher end. The service was not bad but not the best either, the lady waitress was nice.
Was in a mild hurry to catch a play next door: turned away at a couple other Indian joints along the way. Being so close to theatre I didn t have high expectations- and boy was I wrong. Everybody was incredibly sweet (Even though I m sure they get dumb people who didn t adequately make time for dinner often). Not only was the service prompt they expedited my food and I was able to leisurely enjoy the meal and get out with 20 minutes to spare. Sunny was a terrific writer, and Chefs food was terrific (Sorry Sonny after I wrote it down iPhone auto corrected it.) Anyway, go here before going to a show at Haymarket you won t be disappointed
Good Indian food resturant Specially near to Piccadally circus ,Central London Beautiful vibes ,atmosphere . Must recommend to visit this restaurant Food : 5/5
Came in for the first time looking to just get drinks, Divi was our bartender and she was the best! This place is very comforting and such a great atmosphere.
Divi at the bar was so kind! We came in just for drinks and had no expectations but she exceeded them all. Our drinks were delicious and the boss even dropped complimentary appetizers for us. If i m ever back in London I will gladly stop by to try their full food menu because it smelled great!
The Kurkure Shrimp and Beef Steak Nihari were newly added to their menu and both fantastic! First time at and Indian restaurant and they set the bar high. Beautiful inside and the staff was friendly and helpful
Just had an unforgettable experience at Farzi Cafe! We stopped by while waiting for the opera across the street, and wow the vibes here are unmatched! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The Kark Chai , though small, was a delight! Its rich, aromatic flavor left me wanting more I already miss it! And if you re looking for accessibility, good news: Farzi Cafe is fully wheelchairs accessible, making it welcoming to everyone. If you enjoyed this recommendation, make sure to give it a like, and follow me for more top spots and hidden gems!
I have never eaten such a ridiculous food in my life... Farzi means fraud... I never throught they are really farzi in litter sense... Dal chawal fusion was like a shit I felt Like vomitting... Thanks for spoiling my evening
I went for basic Indian vegetarian food... The food was horrible & I have never tasted such a bad. Food in my life.. in the name of fusion The shef killed the basic Indian vegetarian food like dal chawal.. I strongly recommend not to visit for vagetatian food.. The best food I had in London Was At the curry room
Amazing experience with great food and exceptional service. Live singing made the whole experience so pleasant Must visit for weekend brunch
Excellent location, spacious & has two levels. Its an Indian cuisine restaurant They serve brunch buffets with live music. The upper level has starters and a live kitchen with chats . Lower level has Deserts Service is good The staff are good.
Was looked after by Rashi - phenomenal food and service. Wholeheartedly recommend.
I phoned 2 weeks prior to our gathering to ask how the menu works. Told £39. All the starters plates and then pick 1 main and will also be served with a dhal makhani rice and naan. We 15 turned up. Served our starters on platters which we had to keep passing around. I did tell them that I was unhappy about this. More focused on asking for alcohol orders. Then told we will all get the mains and not selecting the one we wanted. This was unfair as most of non veg wanted chicken as their mains Again said this is not what we want. We paid for the bill. Expensive for not being served what we should have had. I emailed to ask to discuss this further. Savio replies that he can t speak with me as I did not make the booking. Never heard such rubbish. I have emailed him 3 times since and no response. It should not matter who booked it. We paid for the whole bill nearly £1k and they can t be bothered to call me to discuss my complaint. I don t normally like to complain but this just takes the biscuit! So I will be going to DEFR to raise my concerns. Why would you not call back a customer who wants to discuss their experience and ask for an explanation about the service and food on the day.
Best place to have some high quality food for a good price in Central London. I couldn t recommend more and Divija was so accommodating and recommended some delicious cocktails! We can t wait to be back again!!!
Rashi was exceptional, her service and recommendations were really good!! Highly recommend this place
I had 2 cocktails and pre theatre meal. Everything excellent, especially Divi s service at the bar, polite and graceful.
Spectacular service and the dal was AMAZING! Blessy was lovely x
Staff are fantastic, we had Biessy serving and she was very sweet. Food was delicious, particularly the Dal Makhani !
Great meal and super service from Niloy. Thank you.
Sunny was very welcoming, I like the hospitality and the food was too good .
This was our third visit and it has been consistently good. Unusual and delicious food, and attentive service.
Thank you Joel for making this evening exquisite!
A wonderful place to eat at Trafalgar Square. We were here on Sunday and there was a live Singer singing Hindi Songs ! The food was finger licking good
Everything was perfect ! What else ?
Great experience ! I recommend !
The staff was very welcoming and always served everything with a smile. The food was 4/5 - starters were amazing but the main course could have some more spicy. Overall it was a very good experience and enjoyed our time there
Fantastic super quality food, blew away ecpectations. A taste extravaganza, a cut above. Great service. My group went here for a holdiay dinner and everyone walked away stuffed and very impressed.
We had a great experience at Farzi. The food was very good and the service was exceptional. The ambience is great for catching up with old friends or going on a date. Highly recommend the Chicken Lollipop and Butter Chicken Bao. Will come back again.
Sunny was really attentive and the atmosphere was lovely
Fantastic service by Niloy and the team, great food and very attentive staff. Forget Dishoom, come to Farzi! The food is so much more authentic and reflective of the Indian cuisine!
Nice, elegant, well-decorated restaurant with a terrace and North Indian food. Mainly European-style Indian audience. Some English too. Very friendly service. Jazz music . Excellent dishes. The next day we went to the Sunday Brunch, with a great atmosphere of families and beautiful Indian people. At the bottom they played country music and danced like at a wedding. Interesting. Vegetarian options: Excellent Indian vegetarian food. Kid-friendliness: Some families go, especially for Sunday Brunch. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair ready
I went to Farzi when it first opened years ago and I loved it! I came back all these years later and it s still maintaining a great standard ! Thank you so much for your hospitality and also adding a special treat for my friends birthday - much appreciated :)
Delish meal from the a la carte menu - prawn starter, railway chicken curry & lamb biryani pie (was amazing). Definite must.
Delicious drinks and they were able to get us in and out quickly for our phantom of the opera tickets.
Overall good food options, the change in seasonal choices meant one of the dishes we wanted wasn t available. Service was very good, the waiter knew the options well and informed us of each of the dishes Vegetarian options: Good options available both as starters and also on main couse
Frankly I m angry .I cannot explain how life changing this food was, and I m pissed that I live too far to eat it every week But, you know I ll at least try to explain, so that the rest of you who live nearby can enjoy it for me Basically I can no longer have CTA anywhere else in the world, because it will pale in comparison to the flavors and tenderness of what Farzi does. Spicy drums? Okay this is spicy AF but YOU CANNOT TELL till after you ve devoured the insanely beautiful seasonings and tastes within their sauce. The lamb skewers offer a little palate neutralization with the sweet nutty sauce. The naan is EXCELLENT. They ve RUINED naan for me from now on, unless I get it here. and I strongly recommend the Himalayan Sour if you like cocktails. Not too sweet, but just enough sweet and smooth to compliment the bold flavors of the menu. The service was incredible, and the atmosphere delightful. Even the music was perfection, with a mix of old world and bluesy tunes. I m livid that this exact kitchen, chef, server, bartender, ALL OF THEM, are not available in Atlanta, GA, USA (or any other city over ever been to for that matter, and I ve eaten Indian food in a lot of cities). And now I will never love other Indian food as much, ever again .
Sunny recommended the best dishes on the menu. We will return
Visited for Sunday brunch and was very impressed. There was a selection of buffet starters and 3 live stations which were all excellent; I particularly liked the omelette in a bun from the live station. You then get to choose a main which comes with Dahl, bread and rice, we had fish and the mutton curry- again both very good but the mutton was the stand out. After being entertained by the very talented magician Michael Gee we then we got to choose from the large selection of desserts. This was £35 and so made it excellent value.
What a gem on Haymarket. Amazing Indian food (and I m fussy with Indian food), delicious, tender kebab and delicious salads. The Karak chai and Mango Lassi were perfection. Very nice and attentive staff. Thank you for a lovely lunch.
Excellent as usual, cocktails are always special and different with an Indian flare. Food is remarkable and changes seasonally. Highly recommend before going to the The Excellent as usual, cocktails are always special and different with a Indian flare. Food is remarkable and changes seasonally. Highly recommend before going to the theater on the West End.
You have to ask for the pre theatre menu but other than that the service, food and drink was great. Order a starter and main and then Daal with bread and rice comes with it. We didn t have dessert as we were full. Very good value for money and right next to the Haymarket Theatre.
Incrediable Service. Staff was extemely polite and kind. Perfect for candlelight dinners. Would have liked more with soft music rather than loud one. They serve the best starters. I would say the starters are amazing rather than main course. The rates are good comparing to the service they provide. Just wished if portion size was more :)
Thes is vare good nad nice
The worst farzi every cheapest dinner wood tables. And very basic food - no where comparable to mumbai Farzi. Best if u change the name. The deep fried items were all cooked in the same oil as it all smelt of non-veg.
Great food, some of the best Indian food we have had. Lovely decor and great service, but all spoiled by the gentleman staff member on his mobile near the door who did not even acknowledge our leaving the restaurant!! Sorry this is not at all very professional.
Getting seated took some time !
Excellent food and wonderful service!
Wow outstanding fresh and vibrant flavors at Farsi. The Smokey saag paneer was outstanding!
We had an excellent time at Farzi. The food is amazing, especially the arancini dal-chawal starter!!
Brilliant Guys, Delicious food in heart of London .Well Done ..
Amazing reataurant, food quality is top notch and the people are very nice! We came here the first time for a small dinner before the phantom, the food was so good that we decided to go again for a larger normal dinner and it was tje best choice we made! Seriously dont skip this restaurant when you are in London!
Fantastic location in Central London serving authentic Indian food with Live stations and Bollywood music. There is face painting for the kids too. Great variety of both veg/Non veg food on offer and the Sunday Brunch was tasty with beautifully crafted cocktails. Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices from Paneer, to chaats .....
I recently visited Farzi to experience their street food brunch. While the overall experience is still friendly, I couldnt help but notice a little bit of confusion when it came to service at the live counter. Even more when a member of the team was busy taking a video shot in their phone for what id assume was an online post. Half the staff behind the counter was more bothered about the video being shot than the people waiting to be served. The next let down was the starters. The chat counter was restricted to just 2 times and neither bhel nor samosa chat was part of it. And easy add to increase variety, so not sure why that was missed out. The rest of the items were not up to mark, except for the fish. The bun kebab was great and a must try. The main course however made up for the lack of interesting food on the starters. Making me wish I had skipped half the starters. Even more because I felt very stuffed all through the day and I know I ate a lot less than usual as all the live counter food was shared between 4 of us. And I couldnt finish even half the main course. Wondering if some ingredient was the cause. Desserts, the gulab jamun and jelebi were amazing. The rest werent that great. Ive left my experience from my first visit years ago below. Unfortunately the 5 star food review has now dropped to 3. -------------------------- I loved my first experience here. Friendly, and the food is so flavourful. We tried the butter chicken bao (sliders), wagyu boyi kebab, lamb chops, Guntur chilly chicken. Bread basket and nihari. All except the nihari was Uber flavoured, however though the nihari was amazing it lacked a bit of a kick to it. We were so stuffed that I had to skip dessert. Yes. Its not usual for me to do that!
Had a friend s birthday to celebrate here and it was quite a good experience They do have many veg options on their menu Try menu so that made it easier for me The service was on point Try their Palak Paneer and Dal Makhani, really good Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegetarian options on their menu Try menu
Pre-theatre menu. Good value for money, and the food was wonderful.
Was expecting touristy and overpriced. Not at all! And they made me the most delicious butter chicken which wasn t on the menu
the food was good thank you Ahmed wahdan
Lovely Indian food great service and nice karak chai
A mixed experience. In the afternoon we had a coffee which was average but took a wait to arrive as they had only one person serving. In the evening we had cocktails which were great. The two bar staff, DJ and Jay, were absolutely excellent. Full of smiles and delivered great tasting cocktails in no time 5* for DJ and Jay.
Tasty Indian Food. Lots of options to chose. If you are in london this is A MUST VISIT PLACE!!!!!!
