Prezzo Italian Restaurant London St Martins Lane offers casual, authentic Italian dining, serving delicious pizza, pasta, wine and cocktails. Tasty gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Kids’ menu available.
I recently visited this Prezzo branch and had an unpleasant experience. Upon entering, I was greeted unprofessionally by a staff member, Angela (she was not wearing a Prezzo uniform, just normal clothes). She asked if we had any allergies, to which we replied yes. I opted for the vegan menu option to prevent any allergy attacks. However, when I kindly asked Angela for the vegan menu, she displayed a rude and stroppy attitude about it. She even said, “I told you to check the barcode,” which I found unhelpful and dismissive. I explained to her that I feel more comfortable opting for the vegan menu due to my allergy concerns, but her attitude did not improve. Whilst we were looking at the menu, Angela didn’t give us much time to decide what we wanted to order. She kept coming to the table to ask if we were ready to order-this happened three times. We felt rushed, as though they wanted us out of the restaurant. Later, another man, also not in uniform, came to take our order. We informed him of our allergy again. When I referred to the menu, I saw that "vg" stood for vegan, so I ordered a vegan salad. However, he rudely informed me that it was not vegan but vegetarian. I pointed out that the menu clearly stated "vg" for vegan, yet he continued to be impolite, though he eventually took my order. When my order arrived, a young lady in uniform served the salad. I noticed it came with a dressing and asked her if it contained dairy. She admitted she was unsure and said she would check with her manager. I found it alarming that the dish had been served without confirming whether it was safe for someone with allergies. She returned later and assured me it did not contain any allergens. However, I still felt uncomfortable consuming it and asked for proof of the ingredients. Angela then responded in a very unprofessional manner, saying, “We know what we are doing,” and took a photo of the ingredient list. I explained that it was irresponsible to serve food without checking for allergens first, as this poses a significant risk. Angela rudely repeated that they take allergies seriously and dismissed my concerns. I emphasised my right to ask for ingredient verification, which she reluctantly acknowledged. The overall experience was highly disappointing. The food was cold, hard, dry, and flavourless. The staff were conceited, unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. They need to take allergy concerns more seriously. I would rate this place zero stars due to their lack of professionalism and poor service.
overcooked food, not solving problems, overcharge on bill. Food had been too long in deep fry(instead of pan) which did not make the chicken batter ´golden´ as stated on the menu, rather dark brown. A simple pasta bolongaise was very poorly made, tastless and a twining tea was £4. They were not rude, but kindness only takes you so far and they didnt fix food complain, they asked to fix it, when we said yes, manager came and asked again instead of just fixing it, he explained this is ´normal´ making us feel bothering them with poorly made food. If you can not deliver service and you can not deliver fair quality food its not a place people go back again. Not to mention they charge more for a meal then on the menu. If we didnt check we would be overcharged with the excuse that it was the wrong button on the till. Chain restaurants doesnt mean always bad food but in this case it reminded me to stick with eating at independent restaurant owners who care about quality and service.
This is my first visit to this restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant. The place was very clean. Gwen met us and provided amazing service. Thanks to her our visit was very comfortable. We were surrounded by attention all the time. Service was very quick. The food was amazing. Lasagne was mouthwatering, I am looking forward to going back for more. Pizzas were really very good. All family enjoyed the food. We thanked Chief and left.
We recently went to this Prezzo right behind Trafalgar Square (3-5 min walk) and had a good time. The restaurant can seat more than 60 people and also has a bar with various cocktails. They have a few vegetarian options on the menu, and you can get some of the non-vegetarian options without meat as well. We had garlic bread, which was totally different from how it is served in the US (less cheesy). Missing the garlic bread, taste in it . The house olives bowl was very addictive. I had Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni, which came straight out of the oven. It tasted very good and was filling for one person. My family had Chicken Alfredo Rigatoni but without chicken. It tasted very good. They replaced the chicken with soy, which tasted a little different since I am not used to eating soy. They also had vegan cheese. The chocolate cake for dessert was served on a plate with the cake and cream separately. The servers were polite and very patient. It did not take much time for the kitchen to prepare the food and serve it. I would give the restaurant 4.5 stars. I would love to return here on my next visit to London. Despite being close to a street full of Italian restaurants (Irving street), this one stands out with its excellent service and delicious food.
Had a wonderful lunch with classical tomato pasta and a burrata on top. Then a lemon meringue as you can see on the photo. Delicious atmosphere lovely and the service perfect. Can remember the price but it was not expensive.
It was very nice however the pizza was a tad bit oily and the pasta was a tad creamy but everything else was nice 😊 .
Very friendly staff. We went straight to a table (about 1:30 pm). Food served after 10 minutes or so. Very good garlic bread and pizza. The base was crispy with the right amount of topping. Ordering the large pizza was a mistake, almost enough for two. Total cost, including service charge £44.44 for large pizza, king prawn pasta, garlic bread and water
Been here today for my mother in laws birthday and had a lovely time! We had a voucher for her birthday so got a free bottle of prosecco too! Food was delicious and the waiter was very friendly, all staff were! Would definitely recommend if your looking for a nice place to eat 😊
Good food
Upon entering, pleasant restaurant but quickly disappointed. The waiter was not pleasant, I wondered if he had made a mistake in his profession Cuisine 1 for the pizza dough, topping 0 was (tomato + cheese + ground meat) it did not correspond with what I ordered So next time I will avoid!!!!
Went on a busy December Monday night , service fantastic as was food, very friendly staff. Thank you !
Service was slow. Food was okay but could be better. As my wife was having her last bit of food they came and cleared the plates whilst still eating!
I stopped for a quick lunch and as luck would have it, I met a waitress who spoke Italian, very kind, she helped me with my choice and recommended it really well, nice and clean place, good first courses and also pizza, fast service, prices expensive for Italy but good for central London, friendly and helpful staff. Kid-friendliness: Place suitable for children
very rude waitress.Not recommend
Everything is delicious; easily and friendlyly accept the characteristics and preferences of visitors. Thank you!
RUDE manager who refused our tastecard despite it being advertised on the app. Said that tastecard is limited to 30 sittings per day despite the restaurant being empty. Even had to pay a service charge despite the rude and awful service because the tiny tablet screen we had to pay on was not clear and I think that s how they con a lot of people! AVOID this place. Ended up with a 50 plus bill for 2 people and not much food. Dessert was also a tiny and ridiculous sized portion.
Went to Shaftesbury lane branch Saturday evening for pre theatre meal booked at 5pm which was pointless as there seemed to be no reserved table ask for a slightly quieter table and was quite abruptly told it was very busy (and loud). Ordered pesto gnocchi which was, I can only describe as, pasty, it stuck to my teeth, my wife had what was supposed to be a small pizza with a side salad, described as a thinner crispier base, it was a normal pizza base cut in half, which was tough to cut. We had 2drinks vodka and coke and a small lager. We were going to have a coffee but it took too long for the waiting staff to return. So we went and asked for the bill. Basically 2 cheaper end main dishes and 2 drinks for £50. Will not be returning anytime soon.
Decent food at reasonable prices. Quite busy place.
too much rushed service. waitress didn t wait for us to finish dessert but got card machine to pay. very disappointing.
We are extremely disappointed with the experience at your establishment at Trafalgar squares. When we entered the shop, it was because we urgently needed to use the washroom. As we were trying to head downstairs, one of the staff rudely informed us that we couldn t use the facility. The behavior was completely uncalled for and showed a lack of empathy. We were in a dire situation, and instead of handling it politely or offering assistance, the staff s attitude was hostile and unprofessional. This treatment was shocking, especially since we were prepared to place an order right after resolving our immediate need. Such behavior creates a very unwelcoming environment and discourages customers from returning. Please take this feedback seriously and consider training your staff to treat customers with basic respect and understanding. Thank you.
The food was fantastic but the manager didnt know how to talk to the customer. 10/10 for food 2/10 for management.
Manager was rude on the door regarding usage of taste card, and he continued to be very blunt and unfriendly when taking our order. He also got our order wrong so had to send food back before receiving the correct pizza. The food was subpar, pasta was like it came out of the microwave, Pinsa pizza was tiny for the price and was a very standard flavourless pizza. You would be better off getting a ready meal and a frozen pizza. If the food was cheap, it would be understandable, but for mains nearing £20 you expect a lot better.
Meal was delicious, service was very good. Special thanks to Mr Halim.
Food was fine but nothing special. The service was good, though, and there was plenty of comfortable seating. Overall I don t feel the value matched the price of the dishes.
Our third visit pre theatre visit on Saturday. Service good but the food portions have withered. Crab and Lobster pasta had 11 pieces for £20! Very poor value!
One word. Disappointed! The service provided by this restaurant was unprofessional and rude. We went in with a taste card discount which was confirmed by the workers that it was fine to use before hand and which we have previously used in Prezzo before. We ordered a jug of water to share yet when served the glasses were dirty and clearly used without washing after. When asking for the bill we showed the taste card code to use but to our surprise the waiter refused to accept the discount which we were previously told we were able to use. He made up an excuse saying they don t accept it in this restaurant even though we have used it before. The staff made us feel stupid and it really is a shame the rest of our evening was ruined as we were expecting to make our moneys worth considering the prices were quite high. Wouldn t recommend and will not be returning.
Horrible service, very bad. Will never be here again, asked for a chilli oil and the waitress avoided it like a pro. Never made eye contact again.
Having just spent 9 weeks In Italy, the food here st Prezzo was below par. I realised yesterday the food here is microwaved. My pasta was tepid on the outside & mouth burning in the middle, over cooked. My husband had Crab & Lobster Ravioli, which was the opposite to my Pasta, it was too aldente. We have agreed in future we will not be visiting anymore big restaurants.
The food was incredible, and the service was quick and polite. The ambiance was warm and inviting. A great spot for both casual and special meals!
Great food and drinks but one of the waiters didnt believe that I was 11 (the kids menu was up till 11) so that created a wierd atmosphere and he was just kind of rude
Prezzo London is a casual chain serving up Italian classics like pizza and pasta. While the menu offers familiar dishes at affordable prices, my recent visit fell short on service. The staff seemed tired and unenthusiastic, which took a bit of a damper on the overall dining experience. It wasnt a terrible meal by any means, but it lacked the vibrancy youd expect from an Italian restaurant. If youre looking for a quick and affordable Italian meal, Prezzo might be an option, but dont expect exceptional service.
Super restaurant, my boyfriend and I were served very well, they were well aware of my food allergy and showed me a menu adapted to my needs. The food was very good and the staff very friendly, I would definitely recommend it.
I have sent a complaint to the head office as the Manager is very rude and as soon as he heard we had a tastecard ,he said that the restaurant was full even though the waitress showed us to our seat and the restaurant was half empty. And he told us that there was no space in full view of other diners who I am sure heard.I have no intention of coming here again
Horrible Service and disgusting meal.
Great service from attentive staff. Friendly and really nice atmosphere.
The grilled chicken in the salad had a terrible smell and rotten taste. This is most likely due to the gas grill not being cleaned properly. The pasta was watery and tasteless
Best place to dine! Good location near trafalgar Square, and the food is simply delicious.
Extremely disappointing! This was a reservation made with a Taster card before a trip to the Theatre. The manager refused to honour the Taster card offer but more to the point, the way he made us feel totally ruined our and our friends evening. I wish we hadn t gone there or that they had not advertised the Taster card offer, in which case we would have either gone somewhere else or not expected the discount. The Taster card is not free. If they advertise offers using the Taster card, they should honour it. We will not be returning! Apart from that the food was as you would expect, it won t be difficult to find alternatives.
Amazing, we found this place as we were trying to eat some Italian food, the place was super nice, quiet and relaxing. The service was so good, the guys was super kind to us and patient. Finally our food was super tasty, a beautiful place with incredible food.
Very busy as London Pride day, but service was good, food was good x Dietary restrictions: Cater for vegans Food : 5/5 |
Post London 10k we came to celebrate as a family of 3 with our two year old daughter. Arriving 45mins prior to our reservation - the team were so accommodating and sat us immediately. ILIR was out waiter and he was so professional, polite and attentive to our needs as vegans. Very glad to have eaten here over the other restaurants nearby. Thanks ILIR and team - we are very grateful
Starters were decent, but the main courses were excellent. Would definitely recommend rigatoni alla rusticana
Vegetarian options: vegan options Food
Fantastic restaurant, from the food to the staff and everything in between. Server was polite and helpful, and the presentation of the food was just as fantastic. Our pizza was served on personal boards, each fit with their own pizza slicer; unique and fun. Highly recommend.
Good food, service couldve been much better though.
Super friendly staff, loved the food. Great for kids too
I arranged a small networking event and we all met at at Prezzo at St. Martins Lane on 25th April 2024. The restaurant atmosphere was cosy and friendly. Our Waitress was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to check a the type of olive oil being used in the kitchen. Lorenzo who first took my table booking was also extremely helpful and friendly. The food was excellent too!
I ordered a beef burger. It was the worst burger Ive ever eaten in my life. There was a lot of salt. the meat was disgusting. I was able to take a sip or two. Unfortunately, its too bad... I paid much more than the price list they showed outside. a total disappointment
Very engaging at first but quickly disappointed by the cuisine. Small piece of overcooked chicken and undercooked cabbage practically raw Piece of merguez resembling a piece of wood Not recommended
This is a very nice place just off of Trafalgar square to catch a quick meal before the shows. I had the chicken and my friend had the pasta. The service was prompt and patient.
Good food & wine. Clean. Friendly staff
Sangiovese wine very good , peperoni pizza good , tiramisù bad.
To say that it was a negative experience is an understatement, dont pass off spaghetti carbonara with cream and becon, perhaps we were wrong to delude ourselves that it could be good, eat at Five Guys or McDonalds, your heart and your stomach Your liver will thank you a little less though.
Lovely staff and food was excellent, thanks you and see you all again...
Excellent Italian cuisine! the Caesar and avocado salad is fresh, the carbo and bolognese pasta like in Italy with al dente pasta, the marguerit pizza and the queen pizza are perfect. The decor is not as elaborate as the other restaurants in Covent Garden but dont be fooled by appearances, this is Italy . THANKS
Great avocado caesar salad.
Always hated calamari bit tried it tonight and was really good.... also had pasta and King prawns and everything was awesome .... 10/10
I never wrote a review, but this was an absolute horrible experience. I ordered a pizza with aubergine, basil and burrata. The staff was very nice and the time wait was good. When the pizza came, I was very excited to eat the burrata. First bite and it seemed like I was eating an ice cube. Asked a staff member to sort it and minutes later same completly frozen burrata came back. I have never tried a paper thin pizza with such low quality and flavour. An experience I wouldnt recommend anyone to try.
everything is good in general
I had a fantastic dining experience at Prezzo, largely thanks to Saras excellent service. She was attentive and helpful throughout. I highly recommend Prezzo, especially with Saras assistance.
Very busy on a Friday night in theatre and. But a nice bit of nosh.
Speedy and friendly as always
Superb location in the heart of London! Delicious Italian food, cozy atmosphere. And the service is beyond praise! Been here more than once, really like it. I recommend.
Lovely meal, service really good, especially lorenzo who was so lovely Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizzas and pasta Dietary restrictions: Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free
Good food and friendly staff.
The service was exceptionally quick, the food was what I would expect from Prezzo. It was a little bit cramped as its a small restaurant but it served our purpose for a quick bite to eat before a theatre visit.
Nothing to rave about. Restaurant far too hot. Patrons fanning themselves downstairs. Upstairs a little cooler... Food
Had a great meal here. Catered well for my granddaughter. Managed to get us in (4 persons) at mid afternoon with just a two minute wait to prep table. Food was good, arrived hot, drinks fairly average price for the area. Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp is readily available and set up on side door, disabled toilet on ground floor near side door. A bit tight getting through between the chairs and customers but everyone pulled chairs in to allow this person access and exit.
They said italian restaurant and gave you carbonara with cream... and it was kinda tasteless, the food was barely okay, but the worst was the waiter who told us offensive jokes, got angry when we wanted to pay separately for our shares because my friend couldnt divide the prices on the waiter calculator by adding the tip... tip which was imposed on us because that with such a service, I would not have given any. Some tourist trap tbh, better to found another place to eat!
Large size pizza is not a large size pizza
Its ok, nice restaurant... My wife and sons pasta arrived cold... Had we not had an offer we probably would have moaned about it, but we was in a hurry.
Very tasty, quick service. Prices reasonable.
Super tasty
Amazing food and atmosphere. Outstanding service
Dreadful. Walked in (with booking) , service and hospitality was so bad we walked out after 5 minutes Service
We ate here in January 2024 and were really disappointed with the stingy overpriced food. Not enough mozzarella or toppings on pizzas with massive crusts. The saltimbocca had hardly any sauce and a teeny scrap of prosciutto on top. The potato Al forno was just a baked potato with a few scores across the top and no seasoning - not even butter or salt. So disappointing. Service was good.
Ordered my main meal tonight to celebrate a special day today. £20 chicken dish . Sounds great on paper. It arrived, and I was stunned it looked basic and dry when it arrived. it didnt look appetising. Grilled chicken was dry, with no taste. Potato was boiled soft, no flavour sauce marinate. Sweet heart cabbage grilled no grilled smokey taste. I had to take my husbands fries sauce to add taste to my meal. Ordered burger bun to make a sandwhich trying to be creative with my meal. Got the bill. Charged £6.50 garlic bread for the burger bread. I was shocked. I refused to pay that because thats the cost close to a kids meal, which looked and tasted better than my main. Staff who served us were polite he gets 5 stars. And was able to discount the 6.50 to reflect a more reasonable cost for burger buns Shame they couldnt accept my kids eat free voucher, which was valid until today, just not at all locations. Should have stuck with plan A and gone to Bills. They offered a 50% voucher including London location and probably wouldnt be served dry grilled chicken.
Probably the worst pizza Ive ever had. If youre into anemic under done pizza this is the spot for you. Not really sure how you mess up pizza. Avoid
Food OK. Nothing special. Service terrible
Vegan cheese on vegan pizza was awful - like cheddar rather than mozzarella which isn t acceptable with all of the options available in supermarkets. Crab ravioli were undercooked main courses didn t arrive together - more than 10 mins apart - very underwhelming - but that s London for you - overpriced and poor quality. Dietary restrictions: Vegan cheese on vegan pizza was awful - like cheddar rather mozzarella ravioli were undercooked main courses didn t arrive together - more than 10 mins apart - very underwhelming - but that s London for you - overpriced and poor quality.
Great food, kids meal choice was good, only downside is the penne pasta Aribitae for £10.95 come out very tiny portion, rekon there was half missing, looking around most plasma dish were double the size, ended up buying another meal on way home lol, walked out hungry, but will give 4 stars as kids food was
Great food, great service. Would definitely recommend
Wonderful food and polite, efficient service
Good service but very standard food.
Nice food. Similar quality to the other branches. However, unfortunately, they dont accept any vouchers or discounts (like Meerkat meals or Blue Light).
always great!
Not children friendly. The manager was a little bit rude to my friends young children. Out of order. Wont be returning!
I went in because it caught my eye right away near the National Gallery. I ordered the most basic Bolognese. This restaurant specializes in Italian food, but by my standards, it was really tasteless. A service charge was included in the bill, but the restaurant did not want to charge a service charge. The price is very expensive compared to the taste. A restaurant that seems reasonable for half the price. It would have been better to go to McDonalds.
Good food, service & location
The food is light, clean, and delicious without being salty. The price is not expensive and there is a lunch set menu so two people can have a reasonable meal^^
carbs heaven!
I ordered the vegan chicken pizza, it was supposed to have caramelised onions but just had huge pools of what looked like onion chutney on it. The vegan chicken was massively overcooked just in large chunks, no attempt to prepare it in any way. I essentially had to prepare my own pizza, shredded the chicken myself and scraped off 3/4 of the chutney. I really wish Id taken a photo, thered been no effort to make a nice vegan dish at all.
Very helpful staff and incredibly good location need Trafalgar Square. Bit cramped but great for quick meal or even just a drink.
Strongly recommend you book if going after 4.30pm! We got there early, 4.10pm and had a lovely relaxed meal and good service. But by 5pm it gets very busy. I had a margherita pizza and my daughter had spaghetti carbonara which were both very good. Yummy garlic bread with mozzarella too and to finish we shared a tiramusu. When we left people were queuing out the door! Would visit again.
Great service but very busy restaurant. Felt cramped as fairly small dining space downstairs.
The food was so good, the service was great. The staff were welcoming and it was a welcoming break from us being tourists
Weird one, I would avoid it . Ordered a pasta dish which was very bland and too much cream, they swapped for a pizza . The edge of my daughters pizza tasted of mould , did tell the staff but they acted like I was lying and ignored it . I know restaurants are cutting corners as prices are high .
Dietary restrictions: Was very helpful with nut allergy and had separate menu to show ingredients Kid-friendliness: Had own kids menu very child friendly
Had a lovely King prawn bolognese. Food and service were excellent Food
The food was grand the service was out off this world fast Happy efficient adriana made the experience in this restaurant ten times better, manager also fantastic definitely be back, lovely atmosphere
Beef in chianti with porcini mash. First and last time in this chain. Thought Id try something different than pasta or pizza from the Italian menu but the sauce was glutinous, tepid and the smallest portion of mains food they could dish. So much better elsewhere.
The food was excellent and great service
Dont take cash !!!!!
Good lunch service in the middle of busy central London. Good for a stop.
A little bit loud, but nice to see restaurants back to being busy, lively places again.... plus....lovely food.
Great food. Lovely service and very friendly staff. The Mac and cheese was delicious and so was the pasta. They accommodated a big group 5 mins to close. Well done!
Great food (great ice cream apparently). Staff extremely attentive. Food came really quickly and was great quality. Thoroughly recommend.
penne rusticana! The pasta tastes great! Highly recommended! Tiramisu tastes great!
The food was very nice. I ordered Calzone, and it was cold. I asked the staff and they changed it imidiatly and brought a hot one which was really delicious.
This is a restaurant I came across in a hurry, but its better than I expected. The pizza dough is delicious. For travelers who have been to many places, I recommend it for its atmosphere and taste.
Lovely lunch as soon as this restaurant opened, food was great and amazing service ! Lorenzo was really helpful and we would definitely return here. Thank you for making our day in London so enjoyable! From Bailey & Chloe
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Prezzo. Our salads were fresh. The garlic bread consisted of garlic flavored baked pizza dough. The pizza oblong. The tiramisu delightful. The macchiato refreshing. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Enjoy!
Not too bad but pretty basic Italian food. Nice quick service and pizza was good. Truffle mayo was a bit of a highlight.
We visited in January 2023 and this Prezzo serves below average food; pizzas are really doughy with very few toppings. See my photo and you will see two inches of the outer edge was empty. The pizzas were nothing special, bland and overpriced at around £16. It tasted like a frozen pizza. Service was good and staff were friendly, so Prezzo just really needs to improve the recipes and food. It seems like they have cutback on the food quality to cover their rent and overheads but I guess at this location, people will eat anything under £20 before they go to the theatre. Prezzos recent announcement about closing branches cites the cost of living crisis as the reason, but terrible food is the reason I would never go to another Prezzo. Their bosses need to listen to the reality that their food is awful, instead of deluding themselves that people cant afford to eat there.
Great attentive service, lovely visit
I have not been to a Prezzos for years. The service here was outstanding and the food was really good. Exceeded my expectations.
Most excellent. Great food.
We called in last minute and was seated straight away. The food and service were excellent. Perfect location for London City Centre.
An Italian restaurant with a very excellent taste...the order was pizza margherita, caesar salad, and pasta with chicken...
Reasonable good food, excellent service by the team lead by Seherr
Amazing Italian food. Every dish is to die for.
My family always enjoys our pre-theatre trips to Prezzo. The staff are always friendly and attentive to your needs. Our server today, Delia, was a delight and always ready to take more food orders or clear away plates. Will definitely be returning!
The food was really delicious and the waiters are so nice.
The service here was excellent, but the food wasnt. Party of 6 and the bill was £152.00 with a service charge added... The food was a little disappointing.
A lovely Prezzo. Went there with my wife. Food was going. Staff friendly. Service food. There are 3 floors which meant that it did not feel cramped even though it was full. Well worth using if you are in the Leicester Square area
Lovely place, staff super friendly, great location
If you want to eat kind of ok Italian food in a quick and efficient way, this is your place. But tables are too close together, it is too crowded and noisy and it lacks any kind of ambiance.
Great location near theatres for a great meal before attending a show!
Nice food. Not for too hungry.
Google ratings never allow the full story.... Is missing and barely warm food a staff issue? Or a food issue if everything we got treated great? Our olives never arrived. My masala chicken was barely warm, but replaced super quick. Staff were friendly and apologetic. The other 3 mains were great. That would meant 3 stars but the booking and payment system was also great... So 4.
Nice and reasonably priced place in Trafalgar Square. The attentive service and comfortable place to stop and recharge your batteries on a day of sightseeing. The pasta, pizza and salads are very good.
Omg this did not even walk around risotto! I had to look for a rice in this soup. Such a shame for the chef for serving this! 15£ for a hot sauce with a bit of rice.
excellent tasty food and atmosphere. Reasonable prices as well.
Food was great nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We Visited just before going to the collasium Theatre. it was just over the road so no rushing around. My wife has Gluten intolerance and this is well catered for.
Food okay - toilets disgusting
Vegetarian options: Good vege and seafood options Recommended dishes
I try it without any previous plans and i like it, I like the Margareta pizza and the garlic bread. I recommend to try. It s average Italian restaurant.
This is one of 2 Prezzo restaurants that are close together. We had good service and most of the staff were friendly. Theres lots of choice on the menu with something for most people. The portion sizes could have been better but not too bad for central London. Food came very quickly and was well cooked.
I was with friends who were visiting London for the first time since starting a family, so our main criteria was to find somewhere that could accommodate a double buggy. This has already proved difficult at dinner the night before and lunchtime! But they found space for us and the service was so good. There was a childrens menu too with crayons and activities. Two of us had the Devon crab spaghetti. This was underseasoned and missing the chilli advertised on the menu. The burger and fries went down well with my other friend. Dietary restrictions: QR code to scan to read allergen information Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with crayons and activities. 3 courses £7.95 and included healthy options like crudités and hummus. Made space for a double buggy and there was just enough space between tables to wheel it through the dining room. Needed lifting up a couple of steps to get inside though.
Very tasty and very pleasant atmosphere
This was the perfect place to eat before heading to the London Coliseum to watch Iolanthe. The service was quick (wed booked a table a few weeks ago) and the food was delicious. The staff were helpful and attentive but not intrusive. What made it better was by signing up for their newsletter online I got a voucher for two free puddings! Looking at their menu though, you can even get a £30 bottle of prosecco free if thats your fancy! Dietary restrictions: They provided a separate gluten free menu and a special staff member to take the order, just to make sure all was well with the choices!
It was a quiet Saturday. Service was good. Food mixed, not sure what cheese they used on the pizza but it was hard and orange, the roasted peppers on my pizza were just raw peppers and only 3 pieces. I think they must of had supply issues as some food was great and others not so much. Otherwise ok. Soft drink prices high as always
We loved this restaurant, good variety of pasta and it was delicious, well located and great service.
We called on the off chance after walking round London late evening that there would be availability, a Tuesday evening last week and there was. Shown straight away to a table, lovely young lady who looked after us. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara with chicken which was delicious and my husband had the Prezzo burger, we both had drinks and desserts too which were also great. Not to expensive for the area it is situated in. Definitely will be back if ever in London again.
Vegetarian options: Veggie and vegan friendly Food
Superb staff. We told them we had a show and they were so quick. The food was great. Do not go to pizza express around the corner. Their staff were hideously rude before we even sat down. Bravo Prezzo
Very nice restaurant. Staff very friendly and patient. We were there as a group for lunch. All the other dishes were really delicious, but the portion of my Cesar salad was small. Ive seen much better portions there. There is a need for improvement here. Everything else is highly recommended.
Food was great and fast, seemed very hectic but it was prime time Saturday, by the time we left there was a long queue.
Dont take Taste Card so we came out
To avoid
Very friendly restaurant, food superb!
Food not great, atmosphere ok
Their risotto is very delicious, I recommend it
The manager is one of the best I ve ever seen he runs an amazingly efficient restaurant and his staff reflect that and we just love the food fabulous experience Vegetarian options: All excellent
One of the worst pizza we have ever eaten. The only positive thing is the very welcoming and smiling staff. Rest is waste of time and money. We couldn t find a place in the nearby pubs so that was the only option. I recommend you to try other places.
Excellent central branch. Welcoming atmosphere great food served by first class staff. Moderately priced 10/10
Horrible experience, the outside looked like a cozy place, inside it felt cramped and terribly noisy. Everyone in our party ordered pizza, mine was edible, nothing special. Other peoples pizzas are not worth the price, the bases are all thin. Expensive place for the quality. The service was matter-of-fact, but the staff were in a hurry and the division of work seemed a bit confusing when our table was served by 4 different people.
bland food bad service they brought the pizza uncut and when asked to sliced it they brought us the cutter and left Food : 2/5
Leave it alone. APPETIZERS: Bruschetta alla marinara: a quarter of a piadina with oil and garlic on top. Homemade appetizer: 20 g of raw ham, half mozzarella, 3 cherry tomatoes, a handful of olives, and 7 slices of nduia thrown away ( ) Italian CARBONARA: pasta with liquid cream, raw bacon and raw ham on top INDECENTE. And I was even asked if I wanted chicken on top, crazy stuff. SECOND SEA FISH: 50g of fish beaten in a mix of soaked tomatoes and peppers. To be avoided.
Delicious food. Really friendly service. Will definitely visit again.
The margarita was quite delicious. We also ordered truffle fries and penne arabiatta. The taste and portion were appetising. But the best thing was the atmosphere and service. The waitress who served us, called Nazende, was helpful and friendly. Good spot even for a Saturday night.
Service was great, but vegan chicken and pepperoni pizza at cost of £17 was completely bland, with tough base you struggled to cut with a knife. Vegan chicken pieces were fairly large grey lumps thrown on pizza.i left 90 percent of it. No discount offered whwn asked how meal was and I explained. Staff member did say he would give chef my feedback.
There was a pizza on the pass and we watched a waitress poking her fingers in it, flicking the bread and touching it up, then gave it to a customer. So gross and weird.
Came here for the second time, the first time everything was so much fun! very tasty!
Adriano and his team were absolutely fantastic hosts! Excellent attentive service. Food was delicious, we had bruschetta and salmon penne. It rivalled home cooked Italian food. Would definitely recommend.
You classic Italian cuisine for a random dinner while exploring London; did not have much expectations when we visited and we were not disappointed with the food - what does hurt the score for our visit was the time it took from ordering to serving - more than an hour without feedback is not optimal when you are bringing children. The positive pickup came when they changed the waitress half through our visit - which also made sure our food came very shortly after. So the negative aspect of our experience here can easily have been just the wrong person on a bad day.
Great food
Good food, and good quality-price ratio. We arrived after coming from the airport and after taking a walk through Trafalgar Square there were few restaurants without. Those empty ones to eat. It is in a very central area and easy to access. I ordered a calzone that was very good. The waitress was from Eastern Europe. Clean bathrooms. Kid-friendliness: Yeah
Fast and attentive service. The burger buns were a bit cold but beside that everything was amazing.
Very busy but the staff were polite
