Always great ribeyes, particularly at this branch.

Booked a table at steak and co for our visit to London a few days before Christmas. Was not sure what to expect but the restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere and the food was delicious. My daughter and I had steak on the hot stone and it was amazing. Having done this previously in a different restaurant and the smoke alarm going off she was apprehensive but our waiter, Farhan, was superb and made her feel like there would be no problem, which there wasnt. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy the service always superb. Highly recommended for a treat night.

The food was fresh

We did the theater set menu and were done in plenty of time for our theater tickets. Id really love to come back and try the hot stone option.

Diego, the manager, managed to squeeze us in and we are so glad he did. We had a fabulous meal, great service, a lovely bottle of wine, and given the location (right across the road from the theatre we were going to in central London), was really good value too. All the steaks looked amazing, and our chateaubriand was out of this world. Thanks Diego - we will definitely be back!

Loved everything about this.

It was my first meal in London and it was a total success. The steak was delicious and the price was reasonable. I was surprised that the mac and cheese was actually better than the one I had in the US. I think Ill come again before I move from London!

Absolute gem of an experience. All the staff we interacted with actually CARED about your experience - in downtown London. What a rare gem indeed!! When the waiter let us know they didnt actually have Coke Zero, my face must have fallen into a sad frown, as he asked me if he could serve me anything else. I explained that, sadly, I can only have water as I have a metabolic disorder and cant have the sugar in regular sodas. Absolutely SHOCKED when he came back with a can of Coke Zero he had actually run across the street to buy and brought with a cup of ice and a wee lemon wedge. He couldnt have known that coke zeros, too, are a rare treat for me personally, and I had been looking forward to it. Hey, its Christmas! Honestly moved almost to tears to be treated not as an inconvenience with dietary restrictions in a public restaurant, but instead with kindness at Christmas. I let management know at the time and also felt like leaving this review so others could know that this was such a surprising find right on Leicester Square where the food was delightful and the staff even more so.

The steak on the stone grill is a but tough to chew. The rest of the food is great though.

I know its a steak house, but the floor has so much grease on it, you, the tables and chairs slide about in it. And we came out with our clothes impregnated with the smell. Could still smell it the next morning.

Love dining here when I visit London. Diego the General Manager always remembers me with a genuine warm welcome which considering the amount of people he must see is quite amazing. I always go for the fillet steak on stones and its always a real treat for me. Tender steak cooked how I want it with choice of butters, sauces and sides. Wonderful selection of wines and deserts. I will certainly be back.

Nice please in the middle of the city of London

Dropped in last minute, early on a Sunday evening. Greeted pleasantly and seated right away. Laila immediately came to our table, fun, pleasant and helpful. Menu choices are ample, and very specifically ask about allergies etc Food was delicious, prepared perfectly. We were not rushed in the least, and checked on frequently. Look forward to going back.

The food was decent. Very filling. Drinks were nice too and well presented. It was a lovely atmosphere to have an intimate dinner. I would definitely recommend getting the hot stone as it takes the steaks to another level and they come out beautifully. The best part about our dining experience was our amazing server Farhan! Such a pleasant individual who ensured we had a great time for our anniversary. Compliments to the chef, servers and bartenders.

Lovely food and good service.

The steaks been from Baby-Bull and had have sinews in both menüs we ordered. The service been good and rhe ambiente was amazing. Get here next time again and check, if circumstances gone better by time. Or would in future use orther of more than 2 steak-houses in same street. Kid-friendliness: Restaurant is prepered for children with special seats and menüs. Drowing wax-stix and papers for free. Wheelchair accessibility: Ita easy to enter. Personal is professional and very helpful.

This is our go-to spot! The staff, like Diego and Denisa, are always amazing and really look after us. We visit so many times, and the service and food are always spot on! They always remember their customers and regulars. Theyre always very attentive and build a strong rapport, which is the exact reason that we always go back!

One of the nicest steaks Ive ever had !

Popped in yesterday for a quick lunch. The music was very loud, restaurant not overly busy. Had the steak and fries. Plates were cold which instantly made the steak cold. Tasted ok. Toilets really clean, although the hand dryer wasn t working. Waiter asked how everything was when we went to pay, mentioned the cold plate and cold steak, he instantly apologised and reduced our bill by £15. It wasn t a complaint, more an observation, so the reduction in our bill was a surprise. Thank you to the waiter.

Restaurant is located in a very touristy area, and it is very convenient. The children had kids menus, they really enjoyed the steak. My dish was also very good. We especially appreciated Ambella, her advice, her service, her kindness! We will come back to it at the next opportunity!

We ate here at Leicester Square before getting a night tour bus and it was fantastic. The food was great, the service was great and the atmosphere was amazing. The restaurant was really busy and yet nothing was too much trouble and the food was not compromised. We would like to specifically mention our server, Farhan M who went above and beyond to ensure my son (age 9) had a wonderful experience, he made his day, to the point where my son wanted to make sure we had his name before we left so that we could write this review. Thanks Farhan M! We hope you see this as we thought you were great and that your efforts warranted a special mention.

really great service and friendly staff who were accommodating to our dietary requirements (we all required halal menus) but unfortunately nobody enjoyed their food and there was 8 of us. chicken shnitzel was very expensive for what it was and despite everyone s steak being medium or medium rare they found the meat dry and chewy

My husband and I had the most awful experience ever in here. We ordered 60z hot stone steaks well done but it came very raw. The waiter was friendly but he did not explained how to cook one the stone. I was struggling cutting the steak then called the waiter then he come and explained. What the most surprised me was the very high price (£79.74 just for the two steaks). I have checked their website the stone steaks price was £19.95 but what they charged us it was double of the price. They charged for just a bottle of water £4.95. We paid for the food just for the steaks and one fries for the side nearly £100 with no dessert no drink. We were so regret for going there otherwise for £100 we could have the best three course meals somewhere else. I don t understand how people put a review £30-£40. I do not recommend it at all. Doesn t worth even half of the money we have paid. Never ever go again.

Turned up for a 7:30 booking... Got sat at 8:30. We were given a free bottle of prosseco which was appreciated and salvaged the mood, but being honest the steak that was then served was really mediocre with us returning one of them. An expensive bill for a sub par meal. However our waiter was super lovely

My friend and I were in London for vacation and had dinner here. The staff was exceptional! I am gluten free and the waitress doubled checked to make sure everything we ordered was gluten free. The manager, Gaetan, stopped at our table and also assured me it was gluten free. The food was delicious! We order the beef carpaccio, the burrata and prawns. We also wanted an Old Fashioned which was not on the drink menu. Gaetan told us he could make us a smoked Old Fashioned with orange bitters. It was outstanding. I would highly recommend! Came here first week of November and all I can say is we loved the vibe especially sitting al fresco in the cold autumn weather as they had heaters outside. More importantly theres HALAL menu for Muslims which was great. I didnt get the names of the servers but the female waitress from Ecuador was so sweet and kind. Also another African person also was very nice to us. We had the sirloin and the chicken schnitzel with the artisanal breads. It was delicious for the price we paid. We make a point of hopping on the TUBE from Terminal 5 every time we have a layover. This is our favorite go to restaurant in London. Really! I had a delightful dining experience at this establishment and would certainly consider returning. The cuisine was of exceptional quality, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The lunch menu items were served with commendable speed. The steak on the lunch menu was cooked to perfection, and the chips had a satisfying crunch on the outside and a fluffy texture on the inside. The restaurant exudes a warm and inviting ambiance. While the pricing may be considered slightly elevated, it is commensurate with the superior quality of the food. I highly recommend a visit to this establishment for lunch if you are in the vicinity.

Food is good. Crowded, noisy place with a nice atmosphere of edison bulbs, brick walls, and subway tiles. It is a busy place and the service is mediocre. You will wait if you have a resy. The wait for food after ordering is long. In a tourist trap area, this is a descent place. But it still a crowded place with long waits. Good kids menu.

Well I eat steak multiple times and it wasn t very pleasant experience, taste was very basic and menu is extremely overpriced. Ive ordered fries as a side and received half of handfull fries for 5£ and of course high service charge Maybe I wouldn t be so upset if the guy waitress was more profesional. Booked for lunchtime for the hot stone steak. You get your choice of steak, butter and sauce. You then cook on the Houston to your liking. Taste was amazing. Did get asked if we wanted a bottle of water, didnt realise it would be £4.95, should have specified tap. It was quiet but Ive seen it busy also. Good location on leister Square.

The place is wonderful and the atmosphere is wonderful. The employee, Caesar, is a distinguished certificate, and his style is wonderful. He is a cheerful, laughing and fun person, and his personality is beautiful. The employee, Bella, is helpful and friendly, and the branch manager, Bello, is helpful, friendly, and a wonderful person. This restaurant is fantastic with a relaxed atmosphere. The legend CESAR de deserves special recognition for his outstanding service, he s super friendly, cheerful, and has a wonderful personality. Bella is also very friendly, and the brunch manager Pielo is always helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended this restaurant!

Excellent choice for a perfect evening in London. The weather was clear and 72deg F. We sat outside. Our server David was very personable and attentive. I am a BEEF guy and my ribeye was perfect. My wife opted for the cheeseburger and commented that it was excellent as well. We hope to visit London again and will return to the Steak and Co.

Always buzzing and good food and service

We stopped to have a snack and they were very attentive and kind to us, just a coffee and some hot drinks with a dessert that was really very, very good .

We visited on the evening of the 27th July. Absolutely fantastic! Firstly having a halal menu so we could have the steak. Secondly service by Joao was brilliant. NOTHING was too much trouble. Even came over several times to ask if we needed anything. Made sure we had everything we needed even for our little one who is under one. Joao was so polite and honestly a credit to this place !

SPECTACULAR - Me and my mum were strolling around looking for somewhere to eat. My mum decided to choose Steak and Company surprisingly as she is not a big meat eater. As we walked up to the restaurant a lovely hostess and gentleman in a suit looking very sharp greeted us with big smiles and warm welcomes. It felt like we knew them both, it felt like we were with family - a perfect start to our experience. We were shown to our table inside and my mum was happy as the seats are comfortable, soft but firm. We had the goats cheese salad and prawns as a starter to share with some bread. The goats cheese salad has a delicious jam and I think it s a perfect light starter. We also had 2 non alcoholic cocktails and I really liked them(mum thought they were a little sweet but maybe I should have asked for some advice). For main my mum had a fillet steak which she asked to be butterflied - it was cooked perfectly, just as she requested and even took the last bit home as she enjoyed it so much!! I had the sirloin steak served with a hot rock so I could finish cooking the steak to my preference(felt very fancy). We also had a few sauces, my mums favourite was the Roquefort and I liked the garlic and parsley. The Waiter, our Waiter well he was AMAZING. I m upset I did not ask his name as he truly understands the Customer experience - his service is flawless!!! I asked him to bring all the food out at once but he kindly pointed out it would not all fit on the table (how silly I would have felt). He guided me and my mum through the selection of steaks, answering all mine and my mums questions without rushing. Then when he brought the steaks to our table he advised me on how to use the hot rock. Steak and Company well done, great service, great food and a memorable experience for me and my mum. We both thank you and look forward to seeing you soon.

Food was very good, steak was cooked to perfection. And the service was exceptional specifically the server David, he was very funny and relatable and created a great dining experience. Also the street was busy which creates a nice vibe.

Salad is just a leaves no even drop of oil. Stake was OK, but very chewy. Sauce was odd combination with meat. IIt was only butter flavour. Staff was polite and helpful. Food arive quite quick.

For a company afterwork venue where we were 10, we were seated by the front door, in the middle of the restaurant. No round table or a more restricted area for that many people, was disappointing. The music was quite loud, so difficult to chill and enjoy conversations during our meal. Food was okay, nothing woah there. Not all our dishes came at once, so it was frustrating to wait while others were eating or drinking. The staff was nice and polite.

Very good quality Uruguayan steak, but definitely has nothing on the side at all. Its steak, and a few branches of vegetables, not even a rice nor salad. VERY overpriced and even though delicious, not at all worth the money. Will not go again.

We had a great evening! As visitors to London we were faced with so many options so naturally we were nervous about picking the right place. We booked very late notice but they had space for us, they were very tolerant of our lazy/comfortable outfits and very friendly/accommodating. Staff were chatty in just the right way, the food was speedy but not at the cost of the quality and there is a great range of options available.All in all would reccommend/return.

It is a pleasure to eat there, the truth is that the 2 times we have traveled to London we repeat, the waiters are very friendly, especially a Spanish guy, friendly and the food is really 10. 100% recommended.

Our evening here was magnificent. We were waited on by Denise, who took such amazing care of us the whole time - but what we also observed and experienced was that every single member of staff cares greatly about each table. We had about 5 different people as well as Denise keeping an eye on us! The food was superb, and when my step-Mums steak wasnt cooked to her request, the team were so diligent in correcting this. The truffle mash is probably on my list of heaven foods forever now. The atmosphere was superb, and on a busy Saturday evening, there was next to no wait time for food, but you werent made to feel rushed either. Truly a 5 * evening, thank you all.

For a steak chain. The food is absolutely delicious. Its perfect for a pre theatre meal at £30 a head for 3 courses. In the week, there are early bird specials between 4-6pm. Wines are good, and they have two for one offers on drinks. You could have two pints and a 3 course meal for 37 quid !!! In Central London. What an absolute bargain! You can sit inside or outside is really nice too. Big TVs for showing sports too. What a result. Tzouliano was our waiter. He was really friendly and pointed out all the deals and even reminded me to get another round in before the two for one expired.

Amazing location with amazing food!!!

Beware, water and bread are not complimentary, you will be charged. Service was slow, though it seemed I had two waitresses assigned to my table and the restaurant was not busy. The Fillet steak was good, and cooked as ordered. They do not take American Express. Overall, I would not recommend, but if you do go here, be aware if they offer you things that sound complimentary, you ll likely get charged for them at the end.

My family of four (two adults and two teens) ate here on our last night in London, just before seeing a show. We wanted something nice but casual, quick but not rushed. The server was exceptionally friendly and helpful with selections and made sure our meal was to our liking. The food was well prepared and delicious. Great customer service. The staff was very friendly. Explained halal menu very well. Money well spent. Steak specialists no long list of menu. The name says it all. Ordered Ribeye more chewy and sirloin i think has more taste to it. 1 portion will fill you up well although quantity looked small for me. Kid-friendliness: Baby chair provided, coloring paper and colors.

Excellent food and service. However, they declined american express card payment. It is surprising how a reasonably large firm could not bear AMX charges while a much smakker companies do.

Attended with family of five. One person allergic to nuts could not have any deep fried food. Poor catering for nut alllergies. Rib eye steak was flavourful, but quite tough in places. I think Tescos rib eye is more tender. Overall I did not feel it was value for money.

Had a wonderful meal here with my gusts from America. Absolutely fantastic food, service and atmosphere. David who served our table was outstanding. Perfect experience.

By far the most flavoursome steaks we have ever tried plus the mac and cheese/fries sides with Bearnise sauce where yummy additions The Chelsea in Bloom cocktail was absolutely delightful too! The service from the hostesses and waiters was wonderful and we felt very cared for! We will definitely be coming back!
