Waitress was amazing. The place was almost empty though and superrrr loud. I cannot imagine when its full 😭🫶 My mom really loves their mussles so I brought her there to have some. She loved it! The limonade was really not that good & they don't make their own deserts which was kind of a let down. The mussles to me were okay, but i was expecting more for the thai ones. Fries are good! Service was excellent. I would bring my mom back for sure because she loves this place.
Arrogant and belittling waitress. My husband asked for mayo or ketchup because his steak sauce was too liquid and bland. She tells him in belittling manner that the sauce is for his steak, like he didn’t know what the brown sauce was for. When I asked for no-alcohol in my drink she told me that: so you just want juice and lemonade then. She didn’t even bother to suggest anything else, and I clearly don’t bartend there so how would I know if the drink didn’t have any other garnishing or syrup than just plain lemonade and juice. The way she talked to us did not make me comfortable to approach her at all. So, when my poutine arrived, the sauce was bland and liquid as well, perhaps they were using same batch of sauce. I did not like the poutine at all. I went to speak to another waiter after I asked for the menu again to see if I could pick and order something else. I told a guy waiter my issue. He offered me to switch to something else, but I explained I already looked at the menu and wanted nothing else. But if I could maybe pay half of my poutine since the sauce was just too liquid. He said he’ll see what he can do. I had more than 3/4 of the poutine left on my plate at this point. When the bill comes, I get billed the full price of my poutine. I told the main waitress my issue and she not only got upset at me, told me off because she came “3 times” to wait on us and I had said nothing, she leaves our table shaking her head in discontent. I had explained to her I told the guy waitress, her coworker, because I really didn’t enjoy it. She comes back later still clearly upset at me. Saying she needs to absorb the 4.60$ off of my 16$ poutine (not even half off) and reiterates that she passed by 3 times saying it was my fault in accusatory manner. I told her I am not asking for the item ordered to be free neither and I did voice my concerns (just not to her because of how rude she has been). At that point I just wanted to pay my bill and dash out the door. How do you even approach someone who is standoffish from the first interaction and just plain rude to you the whole time!?! I don’t work there; how do I know I can’t communicate with other waiters? It isn’t my problem how issues are dealt within the staff. Am I supposed to feel bad because she needs to absorb the cost for kitchen’s fault? I did not like my experience there and left me in tears when I got to my car. I was in shock and disbelief how rude the young red haired waitress was. I get you can have a bad day at work or something, but the way a waitress speak and deal with costumers say big time about the restaurant. It was our first time and we will NOT GO BACK.

Si j'pouvais laisser un zero, i would've. I had taken a reservation for my delegation team to decompress after a long conference day; upon arrival, our waitress was tres bete. We waited a while to order, which was fine on a Saturday night, as it was packed. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive, which was fine as it was packed. The food arrived cold and nasty and again, the waitress was negative and standoffish the whole time. With the accumulation of bad vibes and experience, we were disappointed and decided not to tip. (As a part-time waitress myself, it takes a lot for me not to tip, first time doing so actually). We tried to explain to our waitress our decision as she demanded we tip, and it just went downhill from there. We called for the owner, She and the waitress made an embarrassing scene as we also tried to understand the reason why some of my colleagues were charged the 15% without their consent on their bill after stating that they did not wish to. This was theft. Furthermore, they were also trying to lie their way out of it by saying that we were a big party. Lies, we did not meet the quota of number of people in a party to be charged a mandatory service fee, (she in fact tried to change that quota from 15 people to 12 while not realizing that we were 10) After a frustrating conversation, she reimbursed our 15% and told us not to come back (as if it wasn't obvious that we were never going to come near this restaurant again). Other customers were agreeing with us as they were witness to our service. In all honesty, money\paying was not a problem, I feel like if we were in fact older, this would have gone a lot differently with respect from the staff (The owner was saying that I was overexaggerating while she called me "cocotte "). This had been the most embarrassing, humiliating and degrading experience, and we did not deserve this. Owner, if you ever get a chance to read this ... Shame on you! Customers shouldn't be bullied, pressured and lied to for tips

Nice restaurant in Longueuil. Services are fast. Food is great. I took the mussels. Delicious. Staffs are friendly and attentive. I only give 3 stars because i eat outisde and at night there was no light. Even the staffs were sorry for us. The light was broken since a few weeks. Very easy to fix. But nobody fix it. So after the sunset, well... No light.
Reheated mussels, elastic in the mouth. Fries not crispy, greasy and in a packet. In short, disappointing experience. Regarding the reception, pretty decent.

Honestly, it had been a while since I had set foot in this restaurant and my father-in-law wanted to invite me to dinner and I chose this place... well we had a pleasant time together and the atmosphere, the food and the service were impeccable despite a small reservation error they managed well. In short, very happy, I will go back without hesitation!

I am a regular customer of the Chez Vincent restaurant-pub and I am always very satisfied! Recently, I organized a surprise for my partner, and we had the Le Sommet private room reserved for our group of 45 people. The employees were there for my surprise, and they were perfect The atmosphere of the evening was superb, and the room was prepared for our big group (I did the decorations myself)! Two waitresses were exclusively available for our group and gave us excellent service! The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant, both for a simple dinner with friends/family and for a big event
It pains me to only give 2 stars, usually the food and service are impeccable, not sure whats going on with their waitresses lately but the quality of service has taken a serious downward blow.

Welcoming and spacious place. 2 terraces, one in the sun and the other shaded, reserved parking. Impeccable service, at an affordable price. Discounts on show evenings at the Théâtre de la Ville. Maybe noisy in the evening. I like going there, especially in the summer Parking: Large space, rue Saint-Jean, just north of Pub Resto
A little disappointed, I must admit it for the first time. We go there regularly but this time, I liked my experience less. My turnip soup was way too peppery. My sister didnt get what she asked for even though it was on the special of the day on the board, my friend, it took her a really long time to get her beer and we received mussel shells on our heads and no apology, no compensation! In short, that wont stop me from going back, hoping it will be better next time!
We went to dinner on a Saturday PM, while booking I noticed that the employee who received my call was arrogant. Our waitress was also arrogant and looked away from us (I hope shes the same one I dealt with on the phone) Starter of chips and salsa (see photo) a decent potion of chips for $5 accompanied by 2 tablespoons of salsa We asked for a refill of salsa after 3 chips only to be told that its $2 for this little cup!! I dont recommend the Fish n Chips (3/3 people at our table found the fried food bad) Otherwise the mussels are good and my sub was ok.
Ive lived in the area for 3 years and FINALLY got to try this famous place. We loved it so much that now we regret not having been there sooner. A nice varied menu, beautiful plates and good service. Perfect for an outing with friends, as a couple or with family or even alone.
We had dinner for the first time and it certainly wont be the last! I had merguez sausage with a Caesar salad, and my boyfriend chose a steak sub. Everything was super delicious! The beer fries were fresh and crispy, the Caesar salad well seasoned and crunchy, and the sausages cooked perfectly. The sub was generously stocked. The service was great, Charles was extremely friendly and attentive, and changes to reps were accommodated without problem. If you are looking for a place to eat well with a warm atmosphere and exceptional service, look no further! We will definitely come back very soon!
During my last visit to this pub restaurant, I was delighted by the quality of their dishes. The poutine was simply exquisite, as was the pizza, all at a very competitive price. The fries were perfectly golden, the sauce tasty and the cheese creamy, a real delight. The pizza, with its crispy crust and fresh ingredients, was also outstanding. The value for money is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place for a tasty and budget-friendly dining experience.

I go out less often especially since covid, the cuisine was bistro style, correct, service by young adults, excellent, I enjoyed it. But its noisy. I miss restaurants where people are more respectful and dont scream over the music... but hey, I must be getting old.
The new manager should learn to manage her staff or manage herself instead of drinking all day
Since I discovered this restaurant in 2018, I have continued to go there at least once a month with my friend: its become a bit of a routine. The mussels are EXCELLENT and I tasted them all ;). The staff is also super nice and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend!
Several times a year, I persuaded my ten colleagues to come to your house and we always had fun. This time the waitress was unpleasant, not at all attentive, making us feel her annoyance. And she dares to call on me for the tip, trying to intimidate me in front of my colleagues. Will we remember that tipping is linked to the quality of service? So this was the last time I took the 15 people from our team to you. Believe me, all of my colleagues are dissatisfied with this service.

L accueuil et le service sont excellent , mais le cuisinier a du faire tomber le sel dans le plat de moule, (jamais manger un plat aussi salé). le burger a la viande goutait le saumon, la cuisine proposé n était vraiment pas a la hauteur ce jour la !!!! c est dommage mais impossible de mettre plus de 2 etoiles !!!! Encore un fois le service etait pourtant excellent .......

I would say go to this pub. Its a leap in time. The setting is frozen in time. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff are welcoming. Prices are correct.

Pub-style restaurant There were four of us and overall it was OK but a bit boring to receive three starters and the fourth a dozen minutes later. The onion soup was too sweet, however. Very used to this place for a very long time..... Disappointed, the pandemic is no excuse... Its cold, no real candles please... the prices have exploded a lotppp too much, reduced menu, no longer too much healthy food, much too expensive...Very unfortunate...its not what it used to be. All without exception were cold----The waitress forgot so many things...too bad.

the place was nicer before! Now, meals are always different, either those burn or those cold! Some servers are superb! Others left us with an unpleasant evening, out of the 5 times I went, the 2 times I had a waitress in particular our order was missed. Unfortunately I would not go back there again because the continuity of good products and service is no longer there. :(
Yet a place I loved to go. I was unfortunate enough to say that the steak was gray from edge to edge when cooked to medium-well. Holy s***! A person leaning over you and shouting at you (the prorio!!!) A word of advice...Order, take what you are served and shut your mouth. Everything will be fine. Poor waitress who was crying at the bar when we left. Ps: we paid, left a tip and took the steak and fries to take away.

The nachos are not very good...2-3 pieces of olive with 2 spoons of cheese...the mussels are not very tasty...definitely lacking in taste...and lets not talk about the white sangria...j felt like I was drinking mimosa...I dont recommend this restaurant!!

First and last time for me. The fish of the day was overcooked and dry, the whole dish was cold (with fries) and the vegetables were so cooked that they looked like compote. Much too greasy. I barely touched my plate. Service was slow for a Tuesday lunchtime. And the staff was shouting, not sure if it was a shouting match or to tease each other. Too bad since I had heard good things about this restaurant.

Nous avons mangé 3 types de moules, elles n étaient pas fraîches , et mon plat n avait absolument aucun goût. Nous avons avisé la serveuse, qui en retour n a rien fait en plus d avoir validé que la sauce ne semblait pas comme à l habitude. Nous y allions souvent avant la pandemie puisque nous habitons à deux pas, malheureusement plus jamais. Trop dispendieux pour une qualité plutôt mediocre
I would have set 0 but the option was not available. We booked mentioning that we were in a hurry for a show at 8:00 p.m. and we were confirmed that there was no problem. Arriving there we reiterated that we had to leave at 7:30 p.m. and they confirmed to us that there were a lot of people but that it was possible. A nice waitress starts to take our order when another waitress cries scandal because its her table. 15 minutes wasted because she was busy trying to get the table but didnt come to see us. At 7:00 p.m. we reiterate that we are in a hurry and she tells us that she is serving the group first. At no time does she mention to us that it will not be possible to serve us on time. 5 minutes later, very worried we start discussing that we are going to run out of time. She finally comes to see us to tell us that if we plan to leave him because she wont leave our plates. And yes, we have to leave. 7:30 p.m. and at 7:10 p.m. the plates have still not been started. We cancel everything and ask for the invoices to pay. She leaves them on the table and doesnt come back for us to pay. She ends up telling me that she is in the juice and other people to serve. Worst service EVER. She is a redhead but never said her name (the waitress). This same waitress who did not want to give up her table. I will NEVER go back there.

I ate poorly washed mussels I felt like I ate a can of sand with mussel scales It was a big deal......d WASHED YOUR MUSSELS. My kids ordered Spaghetti, sauce 2 out of 10 They didnt want to eat Tuesdays spaghetti. you also have to think about people who dont eat mussels. Do a test and take your sauce Spaghetti and did comparison tests with pots of sauce from Maxi and went to the street to ask for opinions. And change your old oil The fries will taste better. I spent $143 in the toilet

A self-respecting pub! In old Longueuil, so beautiful neighborhood and beautiful decor, interior and terrace. Quite varied pub menu and standard beer (be careful with the kegs though, they have frequent problems and it often comes out flat ). My favorite place in the neighborhood anyway! Vegetarian options: Correct veggie pizza. Parking: Large dedicated parking is available upstream on St-Jean Street, otherwise in neighboring streets.

What a great discovery! Looking for a restaurant that satisfies 4 people with different tastes and that can accommodate a person with celiac disease is not easy. Well here they can. Lycia was extra attentive, very informed about dietary limitations, treated us to small onions, with her contagious smile and her reassuring answers. She knew how to create a superb experience. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and we will definitely go back. Sorry no photo but the portions are perfect. Vegetarian options: We had the veggie burger with gluten-free bread. They were careful about cross contamination. No reaction!!! Delicious too!!! Yeah!! Dietary restrictions: When they say gluten-free, be reassured and eat with your appetite!

I went there with my partner, my sister and her husband. I ordered the Vincent poutine, which wasnt too bad. My partner was not so lucky. She had a club sandwich where all the ingredients were dry and not very tasty. To the point where she went back to my poutine to put something in her stomach. We asked the waitress if she could bring him a creme brulee instead. What she received was beyond disgusting. It was literally burned to the point where you could see that the cook had spooned off a little charred material on the top. I ventured to taste it and it was like taking a mouthful of ashes. By far our worst experience in a restaurant. Avoid at all costs!! At least we werent charged for the club sandwich.
We ordered a club sandwich, the chicken was extremely dry. We subsequently ordered a crème brûlée and things did not improve. The crème brûlée was really burning, you could see he had scraped the top to remove most of it. She obviously wanted to burn him. A very big disappointment and misunderstanding. After serving a club sandwich far from meeting expectations, he served us a missed crème brûlée.

We were a grp of 10 on Sat night, and knew that things would take time. However our waitress was extremely rude. I did not tip and her manager forcefully added tips onto my colleaguess bills. We got yelled at, ridiculed, and were told not to come back. I tried to civilly explain my decision to not tip, but got mocked. The manager probably felt in the wrong, because she started lying, saying that as a group of ten, we were obligated to tip. When my colleague expressed her discontent, she got told tu exagères un ma chouette. This is outrageous: being forced to give tip when service was beyond disrespectful is delusional. Something has to change with these entitled waitresses. Your job is not only to serve plates, but to provide pleasant service. Tip is an extra for good service, not the bare minimum. Franchement, ça va faire.
I love this place, the summer terrace is very interesting and as part of it is closed and heated it extends the season.

First time visiting this pub. Came in to find 1 waitress, Natalia, doing it ALL. From making martinis, seating guests, serving plates and customer requests. All with the most charming disposition, lovely smile and still made time to chat with customers. Recommend this place! Ask for Natalia, you wont be sorry. Food was also delicious

Client depuis une quinzaine dannées Jy vais 2-3 fois lan depuis plus dune quinzaine dannées, au fil du temps les repas nont pas perdu de leurs qualités ce qui est un gros problème dans la plupart des endroits qui connaissent du succès. Par contre ma dernière expérience étsit un peu bruillant mais il y avait plusieurs groupes.

The pub is super vintage, wooden structure ceilings, oldschool banquet and filled with regular people known by their first name lol ^_^ Warm with a super chill atmosphere, the meal was superb! Excellent mussel menu!
