Good spot at a fair price! Bring your own wine! Sorry no pics for this one, but recommended.
Really great restaurant - delicious meals We were a big group and everyone have been served at same time. Portion were generous. Almost everyone brought food back home. :) Food was delicious menu is extensive, there is an attention to the presentation.
Zero stars ... Food was stale ..presentation may look good but taste was so bad ....I ordered biryani ..it was terrible bad ...zero stars for food
Beyond compare - excellent spot I’ve been coming here for a few years + and thier saint lamber location as well. This spot always delivers on taste, service and atmosphere a definite MUST of you’re in the area. The owners are warm and friendly - fantastic family or solo or date night spot. It’s also BYOW/B
Indian food but not for indians. All talks and presentation no taste slow service even with just 3-4 tables of customers. Food was horrible asked for spice but tasted full of sugar.
We have ordered the combo AA there was a lot of food. Their service is amazing The lamb curry was favourable and aromatic and the butter chicken was sweet but still tasty. Coconut naan was delicious I just wish they can make the food spicier However their desserts were way to sweet not for me
Was okay, Samosas to start were excellent! The Butter Chicken was tasteless. It was not the best. The naan was okay and rice was nice. Place was packed. The staff was excellent. But maybe more genuine flavouring would be best. Sauce was very runny. Really had no flavour.
Good restaurant for introducing yourself to indian cuisine. They don't make the food super spicy so the experience is very enjoyable. The service was really good, the servers were attentive and came to check if everything was to our liking, this place is BYOB. Really easy to find parking too.
Very good. But not really the taste (Indian)
Probably one of the best Indian restaurants on the south shore of Montreal. The service is impeccable, the restaurant is magnificent and very clean and what can we say about the food itself! Generous portions and authentic taste. Finally, is a BYOB. I highly recommend it.
I love this restaurant. The food is delicious and the service impeccable.
The sauces are too diluted and the dishes lack seasoning and flavor. We are far from the Indian restaurants of Parc-Extension in Montreal.
Tasty The servers take great care Our children really liked the butterscotch. Thank you Mr Sayed and the whole team
Good service, delicious food, warm atmosphere. I recommend without hesitation.
Excellent, good service, I recommend.
Great service and hospitality, specially from Kamran. Food was topnotch as well. Recommended.
Very good meal. We really liked it.
Excellent
Always good, always great service
Excellente food and service is great, many thanks to the owner Said
Generous portions still excellent. Kind and professional staff.
For a table of 13 they did a relatively good job for the serve time but, the forgot my order but otherwise, this was a good experience.
Excellent chicken biryani! Very plentiful because I had to ask to bring leftovers. Could easily be shared with naan breads. Vegetarian options: Several choices
Very good and the customers Parking: I didnt have a problem
So good! best indian ever
Vegetarian options: Daal tadka and rice (tasteless daal no spice no salt just like boiled)and 1 naan taste like sweet bread from bakery and much thicker. Waste of mony Food
I ate in this restaurant and I really liked the food, the service was excellent even the place was well decorated
Disappointing. Overcooked food, we loved this place. We dont think well go back there.
Superb discovery on the South Shore. No need to go further. Impeccable and dedicated service, ensuring that customers are well served and happy. Well done! A favorite!
The quality has really declined. Butter chicken: the chicken was very dry, the sauce too sweet. Vegetables not cooked enough.
Ordered vegetarian food yesterday. It was too good. Shahi paneer was too good. I recommend this place. All of the food was tasty. Vegetarian options: Shahi panner, chana masala, butter naan.
Great place to eat, real indian atmosphere, delicious food, great staff.
Best Butter Chicken!!! Everything is good I recommend
Great food,great service ,Great atmosphere.
It feels like you traveled to the end of the world and came back, great food!!!
Craving Indian in the Boucherville region? You wont go wrong with Moghel Tandoori. Moghel Tandoori is a nice restaurant with a well executed interior design. The slightly dark setting offers a low-key, romantic type atmosphere. The prices for food are quite reasonable considering the quality that you can expect. I found the paneer shahi to be quite tasty, albeit a little too sweet for my taste. I forgot to ask to have it made spicy which may have helped to take some of the sweet edge off. Although I mention the sweetness, I quite enjoyed the dish and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes paneer curries - I would also recommend that you add some spice kick to make it awesome. Service here was a little ... well, relaxed. It was not terribly busy and we had to wait a considerable time to settle the bill, despite not being particularly busy. The staff were however very polite which makes it a bit tough to be critical of them.
A culinary orgasm! We highly recommend the Moghel Dumpakt dish , Jalfrezi chicken and Tawa special. You can never go wrong. Plus, staff are always super !
very good and food very tasty
A bit pricey for what it is, but good food overall. Doesnt beat the mantra in our opinion, butter chicken lacks a bit of spice. Service ok but sometimes the t.
Disappointment. Take out order from April 28 - BB menu for 3: chicken kebab really not skewers, not grilled but like boiled compressed chicken cut into strips. The beef curry really tough meat. Not choice pieces with 50% cartilage. Desserts 1 was missing. // order butter chicken : overcooked and tough chicken, the sauce tasteless and too sweet. - At least the lamb plate was good, aloo gainban too.
excellent
One of my favorite locations to go on South Shore. I try to eat something different each time I go and have always been delighted.
Very good restaurant. Employees attentive to us. Wheelchair accessibility: No problem for my partner to enter. They quickly prepared a place for him.
seriously, being served dishes that are either cold, too fried, or dry leaves me perplexed but above all my hunger. I am surprised by the positive reviews, as if the restaurateurs family intervened to deceive people.
AA combo : Seems like the meals are adapted to a Quebec style, the chicken butter was not good at all, the one I bought from Costco was better Food
Excellent quality food! I am used to Indian restaurants and I can confirm that you will appreciate and enjoy them. The combos for two (or 3) are an excellent choice for tasting several dishes. The quantities are generous. Vegetarian options: The menu is well identified for vegetarian dishes. Parking: Large parking lot which serves several restaurants but there is no shortage of space. Kid-friendliness: You can choose less spicy dishes for children Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance and restaurant is at street level
Always a good choice for a dinner with family, friends or a group for a party. The cuisine is excellent and typical. Bring your own wine restaurant. The owners are almost always on site and provide impeccable service. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options. Parking: Large outdoor parking lot. Always space available. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible but door somewhat restricted.
The place is nice and the owners are super friendly. The food is super good :)
Great rest restaurant! Polite, respectful people. Excellent meals, we were 29 people.
Very unfriendly service and without any explanation. Too spicy dishes which spoil the pleasure.
Interesting place for Indian dishes Well cooked in the tandoor
super good you have to try it at least once and a reservation a good choice
Truly, the best restaurant and my favorite! The food is excellent. Always a good portion and delicious! I cant find the words, its so incredible. To go once in your life! Its worth the detour!!! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and totally delicious! Yum cheese and curry!
Very good food, well-balanced spice taste. Fast and attentive service. Beautiful atmosphere for a hearty dinner.
I would like this restaurant closer to home. I love the food, good courteous service and its a BYOB
Excellent food, friendly service and affordable.
Would have gave 0 star if i can. Bad food, undercooked, rude staff, expensive as hell. NOT WORTH
Thé on l y place we go to eat Indian food!
Bland food for crazy prices. The staff was very unfriendly and some bits of our food were uncooked too. Wouldn t recommend at all.
I m a visitor here in Montreal Canada, I found out on Google about Mughel tandoori and I went there, I tried their food it was amazing, their service was excellent, crews are very co operative, it s highly recommended for Indian food here in Montreal, I m looking forward to visit again to mughel tandoori..!
Excellent Lamb Dumpakh for takeout - I recommend!
Delicious, warm welcome, generous portions, very tender and tasty meat and professional, fast and exceptional service. Very highly recommended, I will definitely return
Always delicious. I always go there for the chicken korma.
The mogol tandoori in saint lambert is closed. I visited Longueil mogol tandoori. The appetizer is perfect. If you expect the food as resto of saint lambert, you are in a wrong place. The service is okay but the food is not as it suppose to be.
Excellent I will go back!!!!
Very average food taste, you can find much better elsewhere in Montreal! But the personnel is very friendly, the place is clean and the price is descent. Recommended dishes
Very good food and service, a little loud
Alway nice to come to this restaurant good service & clean
Very bad taste of naan because i ordered food and there were burnt and cold naan and very dry naan. Completely wastage of money. Vegetarian options: Nothing to say just wastage of money on naan but the chana masala was ok .
Culinary experience in the world of spices. Generous portions, super welcoming staff. Average comfort, limited spaces, but worth the experience. I will definitely return. Parking: Vast and around the perimeter of the building.
Best Indian restaurant on the South Bank.
There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 children), and we really enjoyed our evening. We took 2 vegetarian combos (each combo is intended for 2 people in theory), and it was more than enough (we even had some left over, which we took home!). The dishes were all very tasty, varied and plentiful. The service was impeccable, we appreciated the variety of vegetarian dishes (we are all vegetarians in the family), the atmosphere, the Indian decor as well as the white tablecloths. There was even a smell of incense reminiscent of India in the restaurant. In closing, the fact that it is a Bring your own wine is another plus, especially since the prices seemed very reasonable to me given the variety and quality of the dishes paired with everything else. To do again! Vegetarian options: Several options for vegetarians, which makes sense because India is the country with the most vegetarians in the world!
Excellent Indian food, owner likes to chat with customers, very kind.
simply delicious! Vegetarian options: Succulent vegetarian combo (DD meal), It would be interesting to have a vegan option
the food was very good, a lot of flavors. the service was also good. However my 25$ dish left me a little on the hungry side. The beef carri dish.
Delicious and tasty as can be, good quantity, good service, a little long before receiving our plate, bring your wine and there is parking... Parking: Busy but always room...
Simply delicious! Impeccable service. A must! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we left with the equivalent of two beautiful meals. The portions are generous.
Took a combo for 2 to take out right at dinner time and we were served in 15 minutes with very pleasant service.
In the middle of the week, several people present at 7:30 p.m. in the dining room! Delicious Chicken Korma, spicy Madras Chicken and succulent butter chicken. The Bahji onion starter is generous AND what about the Naan bread! Plus, it s a bring your own wine thing. Good service and good food! I recommend it to you!
Service a bit slow. One of our guests didnt get his dish at the same time. There was an error. That said, it was very good.
Excellent dining experience
Quality meal and good service
We were a group of 20. The dishes were served almost all at the same time. The quantities were sufficient and the flavors were present. Once the plates were received, the service was limited, but still present. We dont go to this restaurant for exceptional service, but for the flavors. We were not disappointed with this dinner.
Excellent food but no rice with the chicken and the extra for the bread I found it a little cheap and I repeat super good food and very nice place
Took out chicken tikka masala, paneer tikka masala, daal tadka (yellow lentils) and naan breads (butter, plan and garlic). Food tasted really good and satisfied our Indian palate, except some naan breads were burnt black and dough was very thick (implying not cooked) for all naan breads.
Omg! The food was absolutely superb
This used to be our go to place, great food, nice service. But each time we go, the service gets worse, we are ignored, our order is constantly wrong, their once delicious Dhal soup is diluted and their beef was once so rough and fatty that it was inedible but when I mentionned it, nobody said nor did anything, just brought our bill as if nothing was said. Truly disappointing.
Great food. No alcohol.
Chicken Biryani was delicious.
I placed an order on skip (on a busy night for the restaurant), the delivery arrived later than mentioned on the app. HOWEVER, the food was amazing, so smooth, so flavorful and so satisfying! Despite being late, it was still hot and filling Would definitely eat there again and would recommend people to try it, just plan your timing
This is a first for me in an Indian restaurant :) Its full of flavor. I was a little worried it would be too spicy but it was just okay for me! Well presented dishes and good service. If you are like me and you have trouble finding the restaurant, you have to turn into the gas station and go to the right, no other access but enough space to park.
Used to be our favorite place. Last time we ordered for delivery, the driver arrived smoking in his car, the bag with our food smelled awful. There were 2 missing dishes, when I called the employee was rude and quickly hung up with no solution. I wrote a message to the restaurant, no reply. Will not order again.
The place is barely visible from Bd. Jacques-Cartier E so you have to know where to go. Otherwise, the food is delicious. The plates are filled with different flavors and the style of the cutlery gives character to the meal. The butter chicken is a must as is the Tandoori Mix chicken plate. The owner likes to know his customers and spends his time appreciating the people around him. Moreover, it was he who told me that the name of the restaurant should initially be written: Moguel and not Moghel. Unfortunately, it was too late to correct it with the government. Also, the restaurant is bring your own wine which allows you to focus on good food with our favorite drink. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for a tête-à-tête, a birthday or simply a good food with friends. Finally, the menu is varied and vegetarian options are available. One small thing that could be improved is to increase the font size in the menu for those who have difficulty seeing with their eyes. Thank you for a great holiday dinner for my girlfriend! Parking: Several parking spaces.
I love this place! I cannot compare to other Indian restaurants because its the first one I tried but I always end up going there! I absolutely love their Shahi Paneer (curry sauce with cheese)!!! This place is often packed, so that is also a good indicator! A must try for sure! Edit* After trying at least 15 différents Indian restaurants, this one stays my very top first!!! Awesome authentic food!
The restaurant is really delicious and the service very good, with Rodrigo very attentive I recommend it, Vegetarian options: Everything was really good
The food is very tasty. » The atmosphere is calm, psychological comfort and friendly.
Delicious lamb meal in sauce!
Ultra disappointing Too oily food . Never again
We are big fans of Moghel Tandoori in Saint-Lambert, so we decided to give the Longueuil restaurant a try. What a shock! First thing we noticed was that the staff was very unwelcoming. Not a smiling face among them. Second thing, the ledge under the window beside our table was filthy with crumbs and grease. I normally use that space to place my purse. The pakoras, bhajis and samosas were lukewarm and dried out, as if they had sat under a heat lamp. My tandoori shrimp was a mess of broken shrimp and overcooked vegetables. My rice, again, was lukewarm. My husband s biryani was good. After we asked for the bill, the server simply brought the credit card machine with the total amount punched up, and seemed to be genuinely surprised when I asked to see the bill! I am trying to be very charitable in my review, but it was simply a very bad experience.
Food is delicious, service is very friendly. I always go back. Sometimes it does take long to get your order ready
Nous avions l habitude d y aller souvent mais malheureusement hier c est le pire service que nous avons eu et la qualité de nourriture était très moyenne. Malheureusement nous avons été très déçu Parking: Correct
Very good Indian restaurant on the South Shore!
I had great fun watching my friend choke on overly spicy food. Also, the service was slow enough that I would have had time to start a family, in addition to not knowing how to use cash. Finally, there is more atmosphere in my bathroom than in the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: I swear its funny
I love Indian food, so Im a little sold... Very good. Good quantity.
The food was not delicious even no taste in everything like it is heated on microwave for sure no comeback ever
Good Indian restaurant. Good selection of shares from all over India. Good service. We have been going there regularly for several years. We love the BYOB aspect too.
Good service. Interesting entry. Main course not great. Dessert not edible. I wonder how this restaurant can earn a 4.3/5. Maybe an a la carte dish is better than the combo for two. I wont go back thats for sure
A great place for Indian food. Their butter chicken was really delicious, and my kids loved their vegetable samosas. The Indian Salad was good, too.
Vegetarian options: Plusieurs plats végétariens au menu Parking: Grand stationnement desservant plusieurs restaurants côte à côte. Kid-friendliness: Restaurant de type familial
I liked the spicy food there, I will return
The food was 3 out of 10 compared to other Indian restaurants as far as taste. Money went to garbage, and so did the food. I hate waisting food. Not recommended
Hearty meal and very good meal. Good atmosphere. Order Chicken Karma and Chicken Tikka Masala. We would like to eat it again. We leave with a full stomach. Thank you good times
Restaurant that I never recommend, very bad service
Expérience désastreuse dans notre cas. Service hyper lent. Dommage, on sattendait à mieux.
Good atmosphere, a warm welcome, good impeccable service and we eat well, whats more, well done, good luck.
Very generous and welcoming owner
Excellent restaurant.
At lunchtime, try the Kashmiri chicken, its delicious. Chicken cooked with a mixture of fruits (bananas, lychees, grapes), almonds...
Excellent restaurant!
I loved this restaurant, because the atmosphere and the food is excellent, so I recommend it.
Great food
A good Indian restaurant but the dining room is very large, it detracts from the atmosphere as far as Im concerned.
The portions are generous, well presented and of quality Good value for money. Vegetarian options: Theres even a Vege Combo (DD) and some Vegan à la carte options.
Everything was fantastic...food, atmosphere, waitstaff, and owner! We cant wait to return.
Loved the environment and service. Great place to have a good time with friends and family, would definitely come back.
Very tasty dishes a lot of flavor. I highly recommande this place.
Nicely decorated restaurant. Good taste and fast services.
Good food. Attentive staff. We had a perfect dinner.
Everything was delicious, very tasty dishes. For those who like hot and spicy dishes I recommend the lamb vindaloo. You will not be disappointed, very tender lamb. Very good service. We will return there for sure.
My first time in an Indian restaurant, the food is plentiful but delicious, I was surprised because it wasnt too spicy in the end we had a combo for three, the quantity is generous! big thank you to the server Samy, very professional, warm, and explained the dishes to us well..... the owner also welcomed us, he was smiling, introduced us to the kitchen and made sure that everything went well for us...a great experience thank you and see you next time
Delicious!
Very good, very pleasant and charming staff. My only downside, the atmosphere is rather noisy, but I wouldnt hesitate to go back.
Superb family evening, very nice atmosphere, very nice plate...Affordable price.
DELICIOUS ! I loved my experience. Warm welcome, generous portions, very tender and tasty meat (special moghel curry plate). Bring your own wine. Reasonable price. Clean toilets
A 5-star experience at a low price.
Please avoid this restaurant s food. Expensive yet blunt. Very unnecessarily creamy. Fake taste. Don t know what spices they use, it gave me food poisoning. Not recommended.
Overall good, food presentation is nice, taste is okay. We ordered biryani as well one of the worst biryani I have ever had amd the quantity is too less not worth spending 26$ for small bowl Of rice. Compared to other Indian restaurant food was okay
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! No sense of customer service, they are mean, they exploit the employees and keep the servers tips. DO NOT GIVE THE TIP BY CARD BUT IN THE HAND OF THE SERVER WHO DESERVES IT, otherwise the owner pockets the tip. Three different servers told me they dont get the tip.
I do not recommend this restaurant. I ate in this restaurant yesterday, it just tasted like cream with spices, it was disgusting. It is downright DANGEROUS to eat in this restaurant we had stomach aches. Eating there is heavy on the scale and heavy on the heart. Enough to have a heart attack.
Very nice restaurant wonderful setting buter chicken is yamme staff is helpful I recommend bring your own wine
I hadnt been to this place in over two years. I went on a saturday night. The place was busy. The service was excellent. Unfortunately the food was not on par.
Thank you for amazing food. The best thing about this restaurant, the service and food. We were well taken care of. Taste and quality of food. Thank you for amazing experience. We were here for a short trip and were looking for indian restaurant.
I tried several dishes and everything was really excellent. With exceptional service to boot. Im vegetarian and I was accompanied by people who eat meat and we all loved it! Really happy to have discovered your restaurant!!!! THANKS
Best Indian restaurant in town, excellent value for money, the Tandoori Chicken and Butter Chicken are just perfect...
Best Indian restaurant on the south shore!! Everything is delicious!! Never disappointed, both on site and to take away. I appreciate that this is a bring your own wine.
Overall experience was wonderful. The manager and the staff were very kind, where they made my family and I feel like home, especially the taste of the food. The manager was kind enough to also alter one of our dishes, free-of-charge.
Extraordinary dinner very tasty well done Hamed Folmori is great as a waiter
The meal is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. I recommend & I will definitely return!
Indian restaurant whose staff speaks French (a rare thing in Montreal). Beautiful restaurant and quality cuisine. All the servers are kind and attentive. We will return there with pleasure. Vegetarian options: Some dishes are offered for vegetarians. Parking: No problem, there is always room.
Butter chicken is a pure delight
Their hot nam bread is second best if my life. The first one was in New Delhi India
Worst service offered. same discrimination with an Uber person because they dont speak French. The person who served me was very rude. very bad food I dont recommend anything
Disrespectful waiter, extremely rude and unfriendly to the food delivery people, definitely not recommended if you want to be treated as friendly as other restaurants do!
Very chic restaurant Very friendly staff
Bring your own wine! (Late night beers)
Delicious and great service! Coming back! Parking: Lots of parking spaces
Just had a quick dinner here and it was simple and delicious! Service was thoughtful and helpful. Thank you!!
very welcoming exceptional food
It was good. It was clean. And we received excellent service. (The only small downside I would have to say is that there are two or three spots of light that are too white and too strong in the section to the right when entering. When we are below these white spots, the ambiance is questioned. is less good). Were going back.
The food is excellent, the quantities are generous and the service is great.
Very good Indian restaurant. Excellent value for money, especially since we can bring our own wine. There is also no charge to open the bottle. We had a full meal for two with butter chicken and curried lamb. The service is excellent and the staff are courteous and friendly. The owner came by our table and we had a very pleasant discussion....in short, a restaurant to discover and revisit.
Excellent restaurant, even the best Indian!!!!
Friendly staff.
Maybe just try to smile more! Maybe its cultural, I dont know. In the end I liked it and I will go back for a Vindaloo. The dishes are tasty and generous, the menu doesnt highlight them enough, seriously the food is good. Vegetarian options: Dishes without vegetables, I think that was clear!
The butter chicken is excellent!
It was my first time eating there as well as my first time eating Indian! I loved it...food full of flavor. Dish took for 2 and I had to bring the rest! We can bring our own wine. Great starter and main course...less favorite dessert but to each their own! Warm atmosphere and nice waiter...I hadnt booked but I still had a table on a Saturday but it was quite early around 5pm...reasonable price for a combo for 2. Parking: Fairly large parking lot and rather long than wide. Arrived after 6 a.m. a lot less space...it filled up quickly
Best Indian restaurant! The butter chicken is sooo good! Everything is good and tasty there, excellent service too
Really good. Butter chicken lived up to my expectations.
Good quality of food.
