The service was super fast, good portions, plentiful and tempting. All our guests had a pleasant evening. The cocktails were also very good! Donut hole desserts were all the rage! We went to dinner last night. Aside from the fact that the restaurant is beautiful, the food really leaves something to be desired. I ordered the fried calamari, which was really disgusting, accompanied by a store-bought Caesar sauce. Next, I ordered the beef tartare, cut so thin that it felt like I was eating seasoned ground beef, plus it was served with cold fries. My boyfriend ordered a really disappointing fish and chips: cold fries and very ordinary coleslaw. Very disappointed, its still a shame not to know how to cook to this extent.

I have to say that I was disappointed with my meal. I chose the LGros Luxe hamburger. Its not the burger as such, but rather the bbq sauce, which I would have liked to have been homemade. It looked like a supermarket BBQ sauce to me. The pulled pork bowl looked better. But the pork also lacked flavor. And as a starter, the fried pickles were excellent. Good atmosphere, beautiful decor.

Its not worth the trip. Its unfortunate, but they dont have it. Ordinary, long service, he forgets lots of things. They dont come back to tell you if its OK or serve us water or coffee. They take customers for granted. Too bad because the decor is beautiful.

Price wise is a little expensive but worth it. - This place is very good, every time we go it is good service, good atmosphere, good food. The drinks are very good, they have a lot of variety in flavor and mixology. The food is good and delicious, I recommend the grilled cheese, mac n cheese but please order the jalapeño poppers as a starter, they are super good it is a bit expensive but worth it. Im not a fan of hamburgers, but I was with my 8 year old granddaughter. SO So we booked without much waiting. I was completely charmed. The food was very good. I went there for the first time and I liked it. The atmosphere is very good. The decor is really beautiful. In terms of service, the waitress was very attentive. The food was good. I ordered the Tacos burger. He was good. I must admit that I was able to taste the Veggie Burger and I was very impressed by the taste! It looks so much like you chicken! Even better! I CROPPED! Very disappointed, we left L Gros luxe, extremely disappointed. We were 4 people, there were 3 other tables outside of 2 people so in total around ten on the terrace and inside there was almost no one. The service was long, the waitress came to see us take our food drink order and to clear Having just the glasses for water took 15 minutes. My friend got up the second time for the water. The meals with horrible Hollandaise sauce, it tasted like vinegar it s a shame because I went there in around 2019-2020 it was great but today paid for this kind I got it s embarrassing. I dont recommend.

$45 for a pitcher of Long Island Ice Tea.....not even drinkable and thats without mentioning the more than ordinary food....I really dont recommend

I loved the food, service and decor, nothing bad to say about that. However, the air conditioning was on, and everyone around us had their jackets on (us included). And it was relatively cold outside! Like 16 degrees C. I asked the waitress whether the temperature could be adjusted, but I was told they were aware of the cold drafts, but that it was too hot in the kitchen to adjust anything. So the diners had to endure the cold. Such a shame, bad enough that despite the good food I would hesitate to come back.

Impeccable service, the waitress was smiling, courteous, she came back to see us on a few occasions to see if everything was going well. The atmosphere is good, the decor is tasteful and the furniture comfortable, even for a group of 6. There appears to be a reception room and table football table with its own bar in the basement (party reservations? ?). As for the food, it was good but not delicious. It lacked a bit of hummpff. I had the brie starter (I would have liked a little more rusks to take smaller bites), it was served with walnuts and jam. For main course, I had a Swiss burger, it was good but lacked a little flavor. The portion of mayo for the fries is ridiculous, we finish it before we get halfway through the fries. The other guests had a steak and fries which apparently was perfect, 3 different poutines, all good. We also had starters of fried cauliflower and Phillys grill-cheese (beef) which were average in taste. We had a lovely evening. Vegetarian options: some dishes are offered in a vegetarian formula.

As a first time I am really disappointed. Very long service, so much so that to receive our 2nd beer we had to remind her and she arrived almost at the end of my dish and the meal service was very long too, so imagine how long it was to get our 2nd beer . Speaking of meals, the steak fries, the flank steak were very good, perfectly cooked, but the fries, all dry bits, overcooked, blackened, (compared to the neighbor at the table, these were really nice fries, I dont I dont understand that they served me fries that werent edible at the price of the plate), basically I searched around to find some that looked a little good. I would also have liked a slightly hotter meal. Anyway, first and last time.

Got the last call for food at 8pm and informed the establishment closes at 10. At 9:40, employees had their coats on and were playing with the lights, seemingly trying to send us some form of primitive code to leave or annoy us out of the place. They were dimming them, then turning them obnoxiously bright. There was us and another table. I speak both languages, use your words and TELL me that you want to leave work early; but dont play with the lights like a child.

What happened? Ive been here many times before and everything was fantastic. This evening, I ordered the beetroot salad as usual and I was served a pile of cold beetroot, a drizzle of vinaigrette that hardly dripped because there was so little of it, four tiny pieces of cheese goat. There were nuts in this recipe before and it was delicious. Youve cut the meatless demand and its no longer worth it. Damage....

Ive been 4 times, and each time the service is either slow or REALLY slow, like 4 hours of waiting. I will always remember the time we dropped soup on my friend. The food isnt amazing and its expensive for what it is. every time they have bread its very dry, imagine a grilled cheese with dry bread that scratches the palate. The decor is interesting if youre a hipster but the atmosphere is unpleasant because the music is super loud like in a club. I understand the idea of playing loud music to force customers to buy more alcohol and leave faster but its a bad idea with the slow service. Going there is a bad idea every time

Disappointing! I will never return to this place (Longueuil). As far as Im concerned, its downright theft. An omelette for $17+tx without coffee. Ingredient: 3x eggs and a handful of breakfast potatoes. No fruit, no vegetables, no cheese Nothing else. No presentation of the plate. In short, no. I dont like people taking the customer for a pigeon.

Waited 10 minutes at the door to be seated. Nice atmosphere but very dark. Waited another 15 min. I after was a bottle on the table at room temp that we served ourselves. Totally understaffed. Poor hostess was also the waitress on a Saturday night. Restaurant was not that busy but created issues for her poor girl. After the 15 min wait she started grabbing orders from customers that were there before us. Ate there before and food was half decent. We walked out and ate at Frite Alors next door who were more than amazing, fast and efficient.

We tried to order dinner on a Saturday evening on Skip and the restaurant was unresponsive, so the order was canceled, thats really unprofessional!

Ça fait drôle de devenir invisible au point de voir vos serveuses nous ignorer et faire passer dautres clients qui sont là depuis 10 secondes, et faire comme si nous nétions pas là depuis 15 minutes, seuls dans la file dattente... Nous avons tout simplement quitté les lieux avec ma conjointe, car cela devenait flagrant, même aux yeux des autres clients.

Taco fish and pork were great and so was the red beer, mac and cheese said on the menu to have panko in it, but did not have it and was very bland, the spicy chicken burger I was hoping to have some crispiness but was dipped in the sauce making it almost soggy, finally the decadent chocolate dessert was so hard it bent my metal spoon just to try to get a bite off, had to eat it whole, tasty at least Overall very average and above average prices, I doubt Ill come back.

Me and my friend discovered this restaurant at 9 p.m. while walking on St-Charles. We stopped for a drink, poutine and a fried pickle starter. First of all, the place is magnificent! The atmosphere is cozy and cozy inside and there is a beautiful outdoor terrace. The music was good The waiter was really friendly and welcoming! The food was delicious and really affordable! Fast service. We will come back for sure!

We had very friendly and fast service. The waitress was attentive and offered me a cocktail according to my taste which was not on the menu and it was perfect, the balance of delicious flavors. The tartare starter came with a fairly generous salad. I had taken a salad as a meal with the chicken as well as a meal if I had known. The music was good decor and the atmosphere too. My kids also found and loved their choices.

There were 5 of us. 2 had mac n cheese, excellent! 2 had hamburgers, good but nothing really ordinary. The other person had a poke style bowl with fried chicken, very good and nice presentation. Beautiful atmosphere on the terrace, I recommend!

Extremely disappointing!! In steak fries, the steak is as large as a classic knife blade. Extremely small steak and overcooked fries!!! Very sparsely filled plates. We eat almost nothing for $30!!! I ordered a forest mac and cheese on doordash. This is by far the worst mac and cheese I have ever eaten in my life. I cant believe you sell a pasta dish for $24 and it comes with no sauce, portioned in a cardboard bowl. Im not difficult to please when it comes to food, but this is definitely a scam. I ate 2 bites and the rest ended up in the trash.

We ordered through UberEats. Twice he missed a full meal. Following a call to the restaurant, we were told that it was not their problem. We have to pay with UberEats or go pick up our missing meal ourselves (meal that we paid for and requested delivery at the start!) We are offered a credit for next time but that doesnt give us our meal! Never again will we start at this place
