Great! We went on a Monday evening. Restaurant almost empty, but good atmosphere all the same. Its good, its affordable and the service is really great. We ordered the Salmon Poke Bowl. Good portion, fresh food. I recommend.

A restaurant that accepts a reservation but only has 2 servers for the entire restaurant. Result ? a soup after more than 90 minutes of our arrival. Plus it was only lukewarm. A cold starter, so I canceled my meal leaving very dissatisfied despite the kindness of our waitress.

Excellent value for money and our server was just perfect! Gave very timely suggestions. We had a very good evening!

Good customer service, I had a problem with Dordash who was supposed to ensure delivery. The driver canceled the delivery in progress and I received a text explaining that my order was canceled. The person I contacted on the phone at the restaurant was attentive and helpful. They waited for one of their employees to become available and ensured the delivery themselves. Sincerely thank you.

We went on a Thursday for dinner without a reservation and got a table for three easily. Although there was only one server, we received courteous, attentive service at our desired speed. The food was excellent, delicious and tasty. The atmosphere was very good. We will definitely return.

I ordered a bowl. The food was very good, cooking on point! The prices on the other hand are quite high for the portion that is given. The wait time was horrible. There were 7 of us, waiting time of almost 2 hours to receive our dish, apart from those who had ordered starters.

I discovered the restaurant when purchasing a coupon on the Tuango website. I noticed that all occupied tables in the restaurant benefited from the same coupon. I was very disappointed with my first and last visit to this restaurant. I ordered a spring roll as a starter. There were more noodles than anything else inside. The mango tasted absolutely nothing. For the main course I ate the general tao chicken. We are far from what a true Tao general is. It was pub type chicken strips with a sauce on top. The vegetables were not cooked and the rice was served in a bowl on the side. I could compare this meal to a frozen meal with a VH sauce called general tao. Dessert was the best thing: a tiny piece of mango cheesecake, which didnt taste like mango. As for the place, on a snowy day, I asked the waiter if it was possible to turn on the heating since it was cold in the restaurant and I was glued to the heating and there was no heat coming out of it. I dont know if he opened it or if it was just lip service, but I ate with my coat on my back and so did other customers. I was sitting under the wall-mounted air conditioner and I could see the black dirt on it. It hasnt been cleaned in a long time. The light fixtures had cobwebs and the chairs were dusty. The waiter was alone to answer all the tables in the restaurant, so the service could not be very fast. Honestly, now I understand why the restaurant needs to offer Tuango coupons. There must be a huge loss of customers with all these inconveniences. This is disappointing for a restaurant on Saint-Charles Street.

I love everything! The food and the atmosphere. But when I was paying, I gave the waiter 10% tips. Then he complained he was like Sir you just tipped 10% I hate people like that. If youre gonna and basing it on tips only get a darn job that pays you better. Why is tipping even mandatory. NOT COMING BACK HERE for Dine in.

I had a great evening, until my last interaction with the waitress. Yes, I tipped pretty low, I miscalculated and whats more, times are tough. My entire group found the service very slow, and the food, ordinary. But honestly, the waitress asked me in front of everyone why I tipped so low. In front of everyone! By insistently showing me the receipt... Ive never seen that, being humiliated like that, its really unprofessional. We will never go back there again!

When we arrived at the restaurant, there was a really bad smell in the entrance portico. A strong mixture of cigarette or musty smell. The smell probably comes from the apartments above the restaurant but it still gives a bad first impression. We therefore chose to eat on the outside terrace. Then the service was excellent and the dishes were clean. The food was good but nothing more. It was nice that we could bring our own wine for the meal.

My wife and I went to La Lanterne for a romantic dinner. The owner welcomed us with kindness and courtesy. It was the same for all the staff. We respected our consumption rate and the atmosphere was excellent. We even spoke with a few customers who were cheerful and happy to be there. The quality of the food was there and everything we ate was really good, from the starters to the sushi and desserts. Thanks to the owner for her kindness and beautiful personality. We will return there soon.

To take away: 2 imperial rolls, a fried banana, shrimp (5) with red curry, General Tao extra shrimp (5), grilled chicken with vegetables. $89. Not bad but too many flaws for this price. It was the last time we ordered there. I dont like places where the customer is taken for granted...

Completely different than what it was before They doubled the price on everything..they reduced the quality and quantity by 40 % at least There was no air conditioning so it was hot..service is bland and judgemental...when I say reduced quality I mean they even add water to the soya sauce a complete change from what made la lanterne a must. My patronage has come to an end after going there for years I feel let down and disappointed does not do justice to what feel...dont waste yr money ...

I like vegetable stir-fries, meals like veggie-tempura or mango salad. On the other hand, for my taste, I find that sushi is not their specialty. It is possible to request delivery. Bon restaurant asiatique. Il n y avait aucun sushis offerts le jour ou nous y sommes allés. Nous avons donc choisi des plats asiatiques, nous avons été satisfaits de notre entrée de rouleaux impériaux et de nos plats qui étaient très gouteux. Les portions de sauces étaient généreuses. Le restaurant est de type apportez votre vin ou bière et la terrace est agréable.

We were excited to go eat makis at this place that had been recommended to us. I book. Arrived, the waitress begins to uncork our bottle of wine and tells us that there is no sushi, maki or sushi pizza because her sushiman has resigned... we left... The food at this place was absolutely delicious and fresh. I had wonton soup that used great quality ingredients and was made with passion, if the soup tastes great already you can tell how great the food will taste. I had assorted hosomaki, futomaki and nigiri. Overall food was great the only problem was the service, waitress wasn t around often but we were understating since we can tell she was new, but food took too long to come but soup arrived hot and sushi plate came fresh.

I just bought some squid at this place for a bill of $27 for 10 pieces of squid. Very disappointing as a quantity I have never seen that. Never go back to this place again... First time and the last!

Great discovery in old Longueuil. The Lanterne restaurant offers us fine and refined dishes, in a sumptuous decor. The light and dark ambiance of the dining room gives a feeling of warmth and comfort. I highly recommend.

We were there to celebrate the retirement of a friend so the menu was pre-selected with some very interesting choices. All the dishes tasted were good without being extraordinary so no one was really disappointed in this case.

Thanks to Lisa and Jason for a wonderful meal and an unforgettable evening! The food was excellent, the service more than friendly, all in all a superb evening! We closed the restaurant with them, they offered us one (or 3!) drinks and we talked and laughed together well after closing! It was my first visit to this restaurant, I will definitely return soon, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Indeed, very good 2 months ago. Now, the 2 chefs are gone...so, no more sushi and the food is disgusting. Lukewarm soup, dumplings (from Costco) lukewarm and tasteless and the plate of salt and pepper shrimp and squid ($24 for a childs portion) was lukewarm, tasteless and tasteless. Avoid at all costs. I usually really like this restaurant but last time I was unfortunately very disappointed, dragon eye sushi was poorly made and lacked cooking and flavor.. the won ton soup was unfortunately cold. And I had asked for a dish without spiciness and it was quite the opposite, plus there were two of us and I received my dish several minutes after my partner. Hence the fact that I think they prepared my dish in a hurry and forgot to reduce the spiciness. I was watching my partner eat and he was almost finished when I received my dish. For the price I have already experienced better unfortunately.

Good morning!! Yesterday, we came to pick up a take-out order...but we were disappointed. Firstly, our order was not ready....we waited about 25 minutes.... For the sushi, the chopsticks were missing and there was only one sauce for 80 pieces.... For the dishes...the general tao was cold and I was disappointed.........2 chicken breasts...not very tasty...

Went to a birthday dinner. We were 18 people and had a menu with several choices. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The best General Tao ever since they prepared it as a whole chicken breast rather than pieces. Original and delicious. The soup was full of flavor. Service Ttentive and prof. I am looking forward to going back with a smaller table to see what they can do.
