Overrated, lack transparency.
We decided to try Taiyo Express for sushi since Taiyo Restaurant, just five minutes away, doesn’t offer takeout. We went with Combo B (7) for $76.00, which included Cuban maki (8 pcs), Philadelphia maki (8 pcs), Tropical maki (8 pcs), Dragon’s Eye maki (8 pcs), Phoenix maki (8 pcs), Taiyo maki (8 pcs), and Hosomaki (12 pcs). The sushi was okay, but honestly, I’m not sure I'd order from here again. It just didn’t seem worth the price—barely enough fish to justify the cost.
Below average, the only reason we tried it we thought it was the same as taiyo longueuil, apparently it is different, the salmon didn't have a fresh taste, we ordered the général tao, which qas good, the salmon poke bowl, not good, and a 30 pcs combo, we left more than half untouched, not recommended
I had an appointment at the nearby hospital and found this place on Google. I had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and fresh. I was the only person dining in at the time, but a few people came for takeout and delivery. The restaurant is clean and it is definitely somewhere I would go with friends if it was nearby. I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp ~ it came with rice, veggies and a small salad for under $20! The girl even gave me a cup of water to drink. Staff was friendly. The decor is cute. They have anime figurines throughout and nice Japanese artwork and murals on the walls. Would recommend 10/10!
be careful buying the Salt and Pepper shrimp. I found a shrimp that was eaten already and on tail left at the bottom of the shrimps. That is disgusting.

I regularly order from Tayio Express, both in person and on UberEats. No negative comments about this restaurant! Simply wow! I order for myself, the salmon pokebol with extra crabstick on salad. For my partner, a general tao chicken pokebol on salad. The fried cheese mouths with their little mango sauces which are so delicious . The flavors, the quantities, the freshness of the products, compliance with requested modifications, the customer service! Everything is done with excellence. Given the number of customers, you sometimes have to wait a little longer to receive your order, but it is DEFINITELY worth the wait! I recommend to everyone! High quality sushi in terms of taste and freshness of the products, exceptionally delicious! The plates of general tao and others are also delicious, careful presentation and generous portion, even for takeout. recommend Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian choices.
The server not listening at all. Table can be served. There were 6 of us, so there was a large table and there was no way to have 2 plates or trays with the quantities ordered. But everything was delicious.

We ordered two combos on a Monday evening and unfortunately the food was tasteless and poorly prepared. The wonton soup I dont know what the cook made but the dough was very soft and floury, we threw it away. The beef with broccoli, the broccoli of which was too raw, was tasteless I ll spare you the rest but I m sure I won t order from this restaurant again!
It s a take-out place but you can eat on site.
We came to eat on the recommendation of the other Taiyo restaurant (all you can eat sushi) Before we start with the bad parts we can point out the good things like the service which was good and the place was clean although it smelled like gas. The food was not interesting, poor quality, but the vegetables were fresh, the sesame meat was very sweet, the sauce was very graceful. The Chicken Pad-Thai was too spicy, impossible to eat. If you want to feel bad eating at a restaurant, this is your best option. We will never come back to this restaurant again.
The food tastes great, the portions are large, and it is delicious. It is worth recommending to everyone. Will definitely order next time! ! ! The portion is very generous, and one person cant finish the set meal. Its still delicious as always, with all the color and flavor. Ill try something else I havent tried next time. Its crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Its especially delicious. The delivery is very fast and the hot one is even better. Eat, very fast, good service, taste good, beautifully packaged, good quality and cheap.
Mayonnaise does not belong on sushi what are you guys doing T_T their sushi is good but you have to specify not to put mayonnaise otherwise it ends up in mayonnaise soup..... they could just leave a cup on the side for the psychopaths who want!
Theres everything, combo cuisine with spring rolls and wonton soup, Pad Thai, sushi or poké bowl! Everything is delicious at a fair price! I recommand it!!

Faster service, smiling and welcoming staff. I am a regular at Taiyo. I always get the salmon poke bowl. Unfortunately, it is not the same as express. The presentation is super beautiful and original but the taste and ingredients are not like the other. I was a little disappointed...
