Jessy's Pizza in Lower Sackville

Went for a slice, large fries and garlic bread. Slice was good. But the fries were overcooked and the garlic bread was not fit to serve. Looked to be made with crumble bread. Horrible. Food

The food is always so good, hot and fresh - but waiting 1 1/2 hours for delivery and not receiving the full order has happened way too many times.

Loved the garlic fingers, veggie pizza and donair sauce. Vegetarian options: Has vegeterian pizzas and sides. Food : 5/5 |

Finally I received a decent pizza!....I ordered the16 Large Jessys Specialty Pizza and it was really good. Fresh tasting ingredients and extra cheese like I asked for but seldom ever get. Flavour was great and crust was exactly as expected. I only wish I could have added a couple of extra ingredients as the Skip menu doesnt allow for that. Thanks for a great pizza!! Update Dec 2023. This place is hit or miss.........like almost all pizza places in Halifax...except maybe for Peters on Inglis but its too far away. The last pizza I ordered from here was completely forgettable. It was just blah........ And businesses cant understand why people stop coming........

Ordered large nacho. Staff proudly stated he loaded them with extra cheese. Got home and saw I had paid for very little toppings and a whole lot of plain chips.

And the staff are so friendly!! I love that you have the option to choose between thin crust and traditional crust!

Hi! so as my first time ordering from jessys i was pretty excited since i heard such good things from friends The lady over the phone was extremely nice, I ordered the mozzasticks and caesar salad, when i get it the delivery guy was so sweet. But when i opened my salad it was atrocious, the dressing was terrible the cheese smelt expired!! And the mozzasticks were cold and when i bit into it they smelt like they were over fried. So upsetting!! i had to throw out most of my meal:( cost me almost 55$!

Jessy s has always been the move for garlic fingers. We called for delivery the other night and the lady on the phone sounded like she was mad we called, hung up on us so fast she didn t even take the address. Delivery guy was very nice but the food was cold, thin and hard. Never again.

Truth is just started buying from Jessys Pizza,thus far since july 21,23..they have been of higher quality then any other pizza stores in Sackville, and I have tried all thus far. From experience thus far I shall Stay with them, having a wide selection of pizzas and styles,I enjoy the Mexican. You should give them a try, regret is there if You dont and once eaten then you will return always for more as well.

Ordered donair online waited over hour and a half and it never Showed up. Ended up cancelling it. Not first time their online ordering hasn t worked. Disappointing Service : 1/5

We ordered one pizza and a bottle of pop and it took over two hours to deliver. We called a bit after the first hour and we were told it s not your fault, it s not our fault , which, it kind of is their fault? Not exactly an apology. Then we were told we would get a deal. When the pizza finally came after over two hours (!!) the deal was they didn t charge for the $3 pop. $30 for a single large pizza. It was just okay, not amazing. Not worth the money or wait. This was our first and last experience.

Love the food but, none of the staff wearing masks, if its not over your nose you might as well not have it on. Over your chin and bottom lip does nothing. #stopthespread

The donair was delicious. Little spicy just he way I liked it. Next time I will only get a med as the large was just a little to much for one meal. Although I did love the leftovers the next day reheated a bit. Helps bring the spicyness out a bit better.

Best service, eat there 4 or 5 times a week, always fresh, hot and delicious the slices are huge and tasty, the donairs are perfectly spicy and leaves you always wanting more and they ve improved the donair sauce. I ve tried most everything on their menu at one time or another and have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and courteous. I whole heartedly recommend this pizza shop above all others locally.

I eat here a lot, the food and service is amazing. The staff are always friendly and helpful, they always give the best bang for your buck I had ordered a pizza the other night and was asked if I d tried their donair egg rolls and I hadn t, so I ordered them to try, great upsell by the way, and they were delicious. I ll be ordering those again, the salads are always fresh and the donairs are always cooked perfectly. The pizza is by far the best I ve ever had soooo good!!!

About once a week, Ill be busy at my desk and realize I dont have time for Lunch...so I order from Jessies Sackville. Delivery is fast and friendly. They always get my order right. I like the 4 Cheese Garlic Fingers a lot....when I order pizza, I always ask for Double Cheese...and sometimes as a guilty pleasure Ill get the 3 Small Donairs and put two in the fridge for Emergency Use. Their Jessies sauce (the sweeter one) on their pizzas is also an interesting treat. Hungry? Dont want to wait a long time for delivery? Jessies!

I ordered 2 medium pizzas 1 day ago after receiving a flyer with deals. I thought I should try them out and see if they are any good. Jessys works pizza Jessys meat lovers pizza The toppings were quite good. The delivery time was very good. HOWEVER, I ordered thin crust which Ive never had an issue receiving this with order pizza places. The crust was very bland and doughy. This is why I want thin crust to not get the doughy part. The sauce was ok but nothing special either. I will not order again from them and do not recommend there pizzas. There are many other better ones nearby.

Donair was awesome and they give lots of sauce

Ordered pizza 2 and a half hours ago, called around an hour and a half later and was told pizza was in route, keep in mind I live 5 minutes away. Another half hour passed and called back. They put me on hold and I listened to them argue in the background. Heard them say just tell them there was in issue with the system. Pizza was never made and I ened up canceling it. Will never order from them again and would give them 0 stars if that was an option.

Very disappointed in this location. My husband and I Have had good experiences here while we live so close, this spot was our go too. Tonight that changed. We did an online order, after 1 hour and about 20 mins of waiting, my husband called to see what was going on, he didnt even get an apology, all he got was it will be there soon and the person hung up. We waited another half an hour and still nothing. We decided to cancel at this point since it was almost 2 hours of waiting for a pizza. My husband called back to cancel, and still got no apology for the service we didnt get. We will not be giving any more business to this location.

Called from a 506 number, they called a 902 area code number after given a 506 area code number to be called, have order before no problem. Waited 2 hours, called back and said oh we called many times a 902-***-**** number. after told its a 506 number. Said ill drive it down now after 2 hours. location Lower Sackville

Called in order for delivery a hour and a half ago still no pizza. This is the 3 Rd time they either not show with our order or it is messed up so much we wouldnt eat it . This is the last time we order from there. Tired of their tardiness

Ordered a medium pizza, nothing extra, was told that my order was almost sixty dollars. When I mentioned that my order shouldve come to significantly less than that, I was told to leave the store and never bother coming back.

I didnt think you could get a bad donair in Lower Sackville but today I was proved wrong. Pita burnt, meat burnt and yet every thing was still cold. So disappointed. Off to Randys before I head back west I guess...

Last donair before the flight home. Meat was plentiful and fresh. Not as peppery as Alexandras, but overall I would have again without hesitation. Awesome.

Best pizza in Sackville!

My favourite pizza place. Quick with their service, unless youre going during the day. I am solely giving this place five stars because of how phenomenal the night crew is, with their response times, great service, and friendly demeanor. The place is close to home, and their price is absolutely fair for the quality of what you are getting. Ive gone during the day, and had very strange and opposite experiences. Night shift crew. 10/10. Best time to order.

The Donair meat was good. The sauce had to much vinegar and not enough sugar. Asked for the works. No tomato or onions on our Donairs

The manager went above and beyond when the delivery driver was over an hour late, had massive attitude and spoke unprofessionally and aggressively towards me while still sitting in his car and yelling YO from the parking lot rather than knocking. When I called to report his level of unprofessionalism and arograncy to the manager; stating that I would have even took the food if the driver could confirm if my order was still hot (which he refused to do), she then informed me she would delivery my order to me personally. I was truely impressed with the way she handled the complaint and I hope no other customer has to deal with that particular delivery driver, as he clearly was having a real bad day and taking it out on people or just lacked proper human morals. Thank you Jessies for turning a bad apple scenario into a fresh baked pie ;)

I order from jessys at least once a week. Never have i ever had bad service or burnt food. Ordered from the jessys in sackville ns. Delievery driver couldnt find my apartment. Made excuses thar she didnt know the building and didnt have time to run around finding the apartment . Paid for food. Opened it up after, my food was burnt and wasnt acceptable. Called to complain about my food being burnt and was told to not come back. Not very good customer service skills for serving the public. Wouldnt reccomend going there or ordering. You might get treated like a dirt bag and get burnt food. Here i supported a local business during covid and i should have let them struggled and not give it to them. Will never go back

When I was in the military and deployed Jessys pizza was one of my first stops for their donairs..they are always fresh and awesome....

The food is great although this last visit I called ahead, they told me it would be twenty minutes. I showed up they hadn t even made it. Then told me another fifteen minutes.... I said no thank you and left !

Jessys Pizza has been best pizza shop in Sackville since the 80s or 90s. Huge menu selection. Most restaurants have a few menu choices that they just dont or cant prepare very well. Ive had virtually everything Jessys makes and have yet to be disappointed. Keep up the great work Jessys!!!!!

I was a pizzatown customer for years ans over the pandemic i ended up stopping by Jessys, i havent left since. The food is always great and i want to throw out a big thanks to the xashier colleen who always knows us when we call or walk in, makes us laugh ans smile at each visit, knows oir order and has been a huge reason we switched, its like the show cheers, she knows your name and makes you feel like family. Chicken nachos, crispy chicken poutine, bomb ....

Redoing this as I am blown away by Jessys Pizza today, they called me to say sorry, I admitted I was a bit of a knob and they took the whole conversation with grace and skill. They are totally looking after the situation and I cant believe the speed they responded with and even the fact they called me to talk about the situation.

Dont order their clubhouse, they use sliced sandwich meat and it is disgusting, didnt offer any alternative after it arrived and I couldnt eat it. Really disappointed after being sick all day and chose this as my one thing I might have been able to stomach

Had the guy on the phone tell me my address didnt exist after about ten minutes he told my order would be there in a bit. Delivery driver was super nice but when i got my order the guy on the phone misheard after i corrected him and gave my 1/2 vegtables. also didnt get doniar sauce with my doniar pizza so you now great time.

These guys are absalutly amazing. I got off work late at 11:40 ish and they close at 12. I called apologise for the lateness and asked if I could get a large donair they said if I can get there in 10 mins no problem! I got there I said everywhere I asked said no they cleaned their girl the amazing awesome kind young lady at the counter told me they did to but they can always clean it again . Will forever only be coming to this location for any pizza place needs I have and so will my family you just made alot of business for a kind gesture I thank you so much!

Pizza places these days are all pretty much the same, Buying canned sauces and meats all from the same supplier. Hard to find a standout in the crowd. Jessys at least is a bit above average.
