Randy's Pizza & Donair in Lower Sackville

Tried the lactose free pizza and found out it was vegan cheese. Called the store and they replaced it with a normal one. Very nice staff. The regular pizza was really good too.

Edit: two and a half years later I returned and nothing from out west can even come close to these donairs. First place I came on my trip down home. Seriously killer donairs, probably best in town. Cant wait until I return for another one. Parking: Stip mall parking available out front.

Great price and quick service however the food wasnt really flavourful and the donair sauce was a bit too sweet.

Probably my favorite spot to grab a slice of pizza.

Waited over 15 minutes for a slice as they were out. I was the only one with an order in until 2 other customers came in and ordered slices. Once fresh slices came out the person at the counter gave the slices to the other customers who had ordered and paid after I had. Asking if it was okay to switch my order. Extremely frustrating waiting in line, first, only to have your food given away when youre standing 5ft away from the person who took your order.

Been going to Randys for a while and really liked their pizza and garlic fingers. But today the garlic fingers box had a moldy/musty smell which affected the taste of the garlic fingers. When we went to return them (stinky box and gf) a very rude man basically gave us the inquisition then decided that answering phones was more important. Eventually someone else put us on the list for a free gf but there was no apology no concern, nothing. I had noticed lately that the service people were no longer friendly, very abrupt and basically rude. Doubtful that Ill be going back.

Best pizza slice in hrm and only $5 with a pop

Don t go to this store. It s my recommendation. Unfortunately, my experience with Randy pizza customer service was disappointing. I encountered issues that werent addressed satisfactorily, and the overall service fell short of expectations. I hope the management takes steps to improve in the future.

Awesome pizza but the skinny guy with glasses is a rude a hole

This is some of the best pizzeria pizza and donairs in Halifax. I got a Donaire tonight and my only beef would be I wish they didnt cut the meat up into such small pieces. I open up my donairs and eat them piece by piece which is much harder when the meat is cut into tiny pieces.

Randys pizza is a go to spot sackville. Affordability and quality all in one place. You can not beat a slice and a can of pop for $5.00. On your way to work and havent eaten take 2 minutes and grab a piece of that delicious cheesy pie that melts in your mouth with satisfaction.

Very good service, extremely nice, polite and understanding. I was on my way home when I needed to stop for gas I had not eaten anything all day. It was 10:45 p.m. and I was three hours away from home. So it would be too late by the time I arrived home to make something to eat. I was $1 short and they said it was okay and covered it. I know it doesnt seem like much but I had my daughter with me and if they did not say it was okay. I would have only been able to get one slice of pizza not two and a lot of places nowadays even being a dollar short wont allow it. I will definitely be going back and they did not even know that I had my daughter with me as far as they knew it was she was in the car with my friend. PS by the way the pizza is pretty good also lol.

I ve always loved Randy s. Last pizza order the sauce was not their usual. They forgot the sugar. Wasn t tangy. Super disappointed. I will forgive and try again. Hopefully it was a one time mistake.

Well established, wonderful fresh pizza,with garlic fingers and dough balls. They have Donair as well and the lunch special is a slice ( which is like 3 slices of pizza and a can of pop for 5.00! Thats a fantastic deal and it runs from 11am-3pm. I have had the meat loves,the pepperoni and the vegetarian all amazing! Garlic fingers too! And the crust is perfect. I love crust,but hate the bad crust. Not on this ! Its so yummy with fresh ingredients and you can taste the right ingredients in the sauce. Fennel!!! See for yourself!

Have eaten there several times and the food is usually good. However this evening the food was less than mediocre. Donairs had no sauce and cold, french dries were super greasy, and not fully cooked. Will not be returning as we are looking for value not shortcomings.

Absolutely awesome food

Just had a cold-cut sub from there and Im not sure how you can manage to make a sandwich greasier than the cheapest, worst pizza around but you somehow managed. Literally feeling ill, as a puddle of the stuff sits beneath the sandwich. Absolutely vile.

First time trying a donair here on the suggestion of a friend. Super good! Service was quick, donair was huge. My wife had the greek pizza and said she liked it a lot, definitely will be back to try some other things.

Deep fried pizza pockets are amazing

We order from this location all the time, love it, the food is great. However I ordered food tonight for my family, spending $60+ on wings and pizza. The pizza was good like normal, however after asking for sauce on the side it came on the wings, the mild sauce was also more spicy than normal. I figured after explaining these things we could have everything taken care of, but while explaining over the phone the manager just said That s my mild sauce. then hung up on my mother. So I figured it would be best to go and try to talk it over to see if I could get the wings remade. Once I was down either the Owner or Manager in charge came over and pretty much told me it was my fault that his employees didn t write down sauce on the side, then said 10 free wings was the Best he could do. when I had 20, I just found it completely ridiculous because like i said, we order their all the time since typically we don t have any problems. If it was the Owner then frankly you are completely unprofessional and sleazy. If it was the night manager, same goes for you and I hope your store owner sees this. I ve worked fast food before and know it s just common curiosity to NOT hang up on a customer who s trying to address a situation and offering a refund or replacing the full 20 messed up sauce covered soggy wings. While I was also waiting for the pathetic replacement I was told to sit down, and stared at by whoever was in charge while get quietly mumbled to the other employees. Horrific experience with bad management.

I overindulged on donair, it was awesome. The 2km walk home on a full stomach was a bit unpleasant. Maybe Ill drive next time.a perfect blend of spices.

Have been buying food here since it opened and have always enjoyed it. As of lately I find the food progressively getting worse and worse Tonights pizza tissue paper thin and undercooked, the outside 3 inches had no toppings. Hope the owners read these reviews and smarten up their staff or I will be going elsewhere.

Randys had a really great donair pizza but isnt swimming in sauce which is perfect for me and a large comes with 3 sauces so, youre good. It also reheats great too

Was the worst food I ever ate at Randy s family pack of fish and chips so overcooked it s was almost black half the fish didn t have batter covering it so the fish was so hard and it tasted like the oil needed to be changed I will think twice before I order from there again

Worst customer service ever !!!!! Cardboard was found in my food !!!!!! Things happen I get that but to top it off I get insulted with being offered a medium pizza in replacement for my large I paid for because we had eaten some .Not sure how I would find the cardboard if we werent eating it and then criticized by the girl on the phone with the comment of if its not safe to eat why was I letting my child eat it .Randys pizza we have ordered from you for years and have always loved and recommended you establishment but this was very disappointing to have the situation go like this we will be taking our business elsewhere if there was away to offer no stars I would .That call was 30 mins ago and we still have not seen the replacement food shocking

Pickup a large pizza 2 nites ago and took it home , when I opened the box I notice there was 3 of crust before the ingredients started I feel like I got a med pizza for the price of large if this is there way of cutting back they will never see me again ! Not trying to sound like a tight wad but is it right that the cashier should ask if I wanted to leave a tip ? I dont tip any other cashiers why should I feel I should at a pizza place when all they did I d hand me my pizza and take my $

Best pizza in Sackville hands down

Normally this place is great but recently both the food quality and service has declined. I still gave them three stars due to the past great service in both areas. One previous visit I was given slightly burned donair egg roles when previously they were always very tasty so we get them for an extra treat but not this time!!! The last time I was there it was a total state if confusion with very poor service and it looking like nobody was in control. I had great trouble trying to get them to understand my order or name for that matter as it was pre-ordered. They may have lost it when it was called in. During all this I could hear the cook repeatedly trying to get someone to tell him if an order was for a large or small donair taking him a minimum of three requests for clarity. People waiting for service and watching the circus of me trying to get my order were shaking their heads plus smiling at me as they could see the frustration due to the lack of service!!! Very bad experience today so hopefully things return to more positive next time or it could be the last visit!!!

Placed order at around 4:30-4:45pm, was supposed to arrive around 5:20-5:40pm. At 5:55 we called to see where it was and they said order was accepted but nobody ever started it. That they would make it and send it out asap. They told us it would arrive between 6:30-6:50, at 6:50 i called back and we were told it was just getting out of the oven. My kids go to bed at 7 and have been complaining for an hour and a half or more that they are hungry- while we keep telling them to wait for supper. Very disappointed. Food is always good , just really not impressed with service tonight, and a few other nights tbh

If I could put zero stars I would. Food is great here, customer service is a disgrace . I called to make a order and found a better deal somewhere eles withen 2 mins of calling. So I called back to cancel. A lady picked up and said is there a reason for cancelling I responded politely saying I found a better deal sorry bout that. She then with attitude said well your food is getting ready to go in the oven do not call back if your going to cancel your order I then told her she was sounding very rude and shouldn t be talking to me like that for cancelling a order she then proceeded to yell at me. Worst customer service I ve ever had in my entire life.

have always ordered from here and up until a couple months ago it was always great pizza. Lately? not at all. It has been tasting more and more like the box it comes in. We just waited over two hours for our pizza and garlic fingers to be delivered. I called at the 1.5h mark and was told it would not be much longer, that they were busy. When we finally got it 30 minutes later & opened the box it looked like they had stuck it into the oven to heat it back up before sending them out; hard, burnt, dry. We don t even want to eat it. The delivery driver did not even apologize for the wait or make any effort of communication. Will never be ordering from here again.

Please stop verbally asking for a tip for pick up orders. The food is good, the customer service is fine. The main reason we dont go here is how awkward it is when they ask for a tip on the debit machine. Whenever we talk about going here, its like we could go here and deal with that rudeness or literally go anywhere else and not.

Okay, so this pizza is amazing. BUT I hope the owner reads this, coming from a regular, I want to help you in the future. The last few orders, I have called in, and the man on the other side of the phone could barely speak, or understood English. No offense towards the man, but he has no communication skills, and talks over me when Im speaking. Im always worried hes getting the address and order wrong. Because he speaks so fast with his accent. Its painful. The pizza is amazing, and great value, Just PLEASE have someone on the phone that has communication skills and speaks English! Also, they always ask for a tip when picking up an order. Its awkward. Just hand me the debit machine and let me choose my tape if I want. Dont stand there and ask me if Im tipping out loud, thats not how its done. I do believe theres been a few additions to the staff that are just not keeping the same service standard as it used to be. Please train your staff better in constomer service, and have someone on the phone that can communicate a pizza order properly, and I will continue to come here as its my favorite place in Sackville. Ive been a regular for many years. But if things dont change soon I will be taking my weekly pizza orders somewhere else

Hands down BEST pizza joint in Nova Scotia!

I wanted donair egg rolls, they had none. That was fine, but the guy got here and said he got to go get the pop, I thought he left it in car, NO, he said he had to go back to store! Omg, my food got cold, and I am still waiting for my pop !! I had no pop and I like pop with my take out. Its been 20 minutes and I still have no pop!! Grrrr... what happened to the service here???I had to call store or it wouldnt have came.

Over rated. Came highly recommended to me but I wasnt impressed by anything. Prices could be better since food is not.

Was staying at K.O.A. campground not to far from Sackville. Took a late night drive for some food into Sackville and this place was the only thing open other then McDonalds. I decided to give it a shot since k.ing of Donair was closed. Was not disappointed! I got a toasted sub and garlic fingers and the sub was absolutely delicious. Their prices are good for what you get also. Garlic fingers were nothing special but not horrible either. But ill definitely be back if Im ever in that area again for a sub. It was called Randys club sub and it was delish! Staff were friendly especially the female at the counter. I had a good experience here.
