I ordered a pad see ew with chicken. It comes with broccoli but my broccoli was yellow and bitter along with a bunch of some type of leaves, also very bitter. Spent over an hour trying to call them about it but consistantly busy signal. Not worth the money, will not return.
Main dish are great! The only problem I have is paying 7$ for that mango salad… Two bowls didn’t even make half of a mango and 6 slice of red bell pepper…
We had a Thai poutine (yes, really) and it was glorious. The spice mixed well with the gravy, and coated everything evenly. The fries were crispy and hot. The cheese was standard. 9/10
This place has always been consistently good. However, my pad thai today was a little off. It normally has long noodles and fresher bean sprouts and the sauce was better. Hopefully it was a new cook.
Ordered 2 shrimp pad Thai, recieved 2 chicken pad Thai instead and it was bland. Asked for extra spicy....wasn't spicy at all. My young kids could eat it.

Was impressed with the fast & courteous service. Food was hot & delicious. 😋 When an elderly couple came in with a cane, I watched the server take their meal to them to save them from walking to the counter. Nice touch!! My only criticism is that I watched two groups of customers have to clean their own table off before they could sit down.
Thai Express Last weekend my son and I worked the whole day on cleaning the spare room...aka Junk room. Pulled almost everything out and was able to wash the floors and walls and repack and toss out some stuff. We were at it all day, we forgot to eat. So at 8pm we decided to go to Thai Express withe the buy one and get one 50% off coupons. I went with the mango chicken and my son got the pineapple chicken (which I got last time I was here, so I didn't take a picture) Apparently I forgot to take a picture of the fried dumplings too. Lol. Again it was really good and I enjoyed it even though I'm not a rice fan. This time it came in a box instead of the bowl, the bowl does make it easier to mix up.
I dont know what is going on with my favorite restaurant, The food is going down, And the workers are very slow., This saddens me because I love this restaurant.

Ordered gluten free pad see ew, and noticed afterwards on the slip that the person ringing it through didnt select gluten free, but someone hand wrote it on the order slip so I thought it would be safe. Unfortunately not correct, which I spent the last 2 days learning the hard way. This location is not allergen friendly, and unfortunately I think a language barrier was involved in the mishap. Anyways Ill think twice before coming here, anyone with allergies should do the same. Dietary restrictions: If youre gluten free dont go here
Spring roll very good I am Skip driver I usually eat spring roll at this restraunt. And waiter very polite. My friends love its beef rice noodle very much.
Closes at 8:30, door and online says 9. If you change your business hours please update it online! (And update your post on your door!!) Had a long day, just wanted something on the healthier side to eat and missed other opportunities due to choosing this place and you choosing to close early.
The food has been good most times I visit, but every time I order online and come 5 minutes past the pickup time and still have to wait 20 minutes. People who order after me seem to get their food first. It s happened the last 3 times I have visited and definitely prevents me from ordering more often from this location
The guy who made the meal was super nice but the lady at the cash register was really mean and we still didn t get our full order that we paid for.
Just received our delivery order of Vegan Pad Thai, it was great , but, they forgot to put tofu on it

Constantly closed 15-30 minutes early. Management should change your posted business hours or check with your staff as to why they are deciding to close early. Fix your business.
As I approached the Lower Sackville location, I could not tell if they were open or not. The open sign was not illuminated. I tried the door, it was open, I went in to place my order. The person who took my order was friendly enough but was unable to give me a clear answer on what my order would contain. I ordered yellow curry. The food was boring and bland...less spicy should not equal less flavour. The rice was definitely overcooked.
Big lineup so waited 30min near end of day. Unfortunately, compared to the ones in Toronto the Chicken Pad Thai was disappointing. Sauce was bland and a bit oily, not tangy and flavourful as Im used to. Chicken was chewy and overdone. Service was friendly.
Not vegan at all. Even if they use a clean pan there s a lot of cross contamination cause they use the same snaps to grab veggies and meat or prawns anyways vegans stay away.
Came in for some General Thairacha. Was absolutely delicious, no complaints.
Way over priced , paying almost 30 dollars for one plate , GTFOH .

Didn t get what I ordered. Asked for 2 pad Thai, said 2 pad Thai s is what I paid for on the receipt. Got one pad Thai but, different from what I ordered and stir fry with not even anything in it. I was the only one in there 35 mins before closed. Couldn t have screwed up my order with someone else. Closed by the time I got home and could get order fixed. This is the second time in my last 2 visits. Probably the last time.
good and healthy food in the area cleaning hygiene staff food everything is perfect but still have to improve their wifi service whenever i tried to connect my phone it never works otherwise everything is great
Tried calling for over an hour resulting in me having to go there. Was told they dont take orders over the phone, only online. Would have been nice if this was advertised somewhere. Food was fine, customer service not great.
Been eating from here regularly since they opened. I love the food but there are some problems that just make it harder and harder for me to want to go back. Today they gave the wrong Skip driver my food, leading to an hour wait for an address less than five minutes away. Skip driver returned to Thai Express, confused about the order, then after being on the phone with Skip got the order. Driver was supposed to be delivering an order to a place in Millwood (10-15 mins away from me) that was half the price of mine and with completely different delivery instructions. Felt bad for the driver, but certainly not Thai Express; the employee on the phone told me I better tip the driver well for his time! As for other problems, the hours at this store are all over the place. I ve gone there, their neon open sign lit up and hours before they re supposed to be closed, and I go up to the door to find it locked. These problems with hours persist and are very annoying. As for the food, it is usually good. Often times the amount of sauce, vegetables, and chicken in the general Thai is all over the place from order to order, from getting food soaked in sauce to getting rice that is entirely white with barely any sauce. Sometimes lots of veggies, sometimes barely any. I truly love the food here but these issues (which the last two I ve pointed out others having been saying for over a year in the reviews) are making me reconsider ordering from this location again. Edit: January 2021 So I ordered food on Skip here again a few weeks ago, and was pleasantly surprised to get a delicious meal delivered incredibly fast. However, tonight I ordered a large order of 4 meals and had the opposite experience. We asked for extra sauce on one of the dishes. Upon receiving the order from Skip, there was a note on the bag (pictured below) that refused the extra sauce because we forgot to add it in the order page, we only mentioned it on the special requests part. I understand that sauce costs money, and I have paid for it every single time I have asked for it (I only ask for it because the amount of sauce on their dishes is always either plenty or next to none; absolutely no consistency). But, it is 80 cents, from an order that was almost $61. This is incredibly passive aggressive and rude, just like the employee who told me I better tip the driver well for their mistake (the same employee, by the way, refused me a refund, which was the first thing I asked; considering I was getting cold food after over an hour wait at a location 5 mins away on Sackville drive after their mistake, I think a refund is fair, at that point I didn t even want the food). I really love when this store gets it right, but they truly get it wrong 9 times out of 10 and I feel like a fool for ordering from this location again.

Not the first time I ate there but now it will be the last for a while. Picked up 3 meals for coworkers and myself... all 3of us were sick within the hour. Stomach still not recovered 4hours later:(

This resturant has been closed for days but it is still showing open on the takeout apps Skip the Dishes and Uber Eats. This resturant is never consistently open. It it not the first time they have closed down at odd times of the day. The consistency of the food is also bad, sometimes its good and sometimes its so salty the soup tastes like ocean water and is inedible. Ive given up. Ive already tried contacting them through their contact us section on their website with no reply.
There does not seem to be any consistency to the quality. I ordered from this location twice, first time it was fantastic, but last night my order was undercooked and extremely light on the curry, veggies and protein. Will be going elsewhere for Thai next time, this place is not worth the gamble.

This is the worst Thai Express location across Canada I have visited. Closes inconsistently early, and ownership refuses to take accountability for incorrect hours being displayed. Would rather drive the extra 10 mins to Bedford to go an authentic Thai restaurant. Update: I have continued visiting this location out of pure convenience. However, each and every time I get a dish thats swimming in so much sauce my noodles cook further and just fall apart. Gross. Edit:. I have attempted to contact the owner as directed, however STILL have not reached a resolution. This restaurant remains closed despite SHOULD being open as per theur Google hours. Skip the Dishes and Uber Eats remains offering their menu as a delivery option however are closed indefinitely, for whatever reason. Ive wasted so much money attempting to order take out from this place. Be consistent. Edit: still the worst possible location of Thai Express Ive ever dealt with. You order something, they give you something else, and then argue with the customer and refuse to fix the issue. Its outrageous that people pay so much money for your items and then a delivery fee, only for you to not take any ownership. Please close.
Ordered 3 thai beef pad see ew all not spicy . Got 2 of them super spicy/hot and the 3rd had no beef ...... kids were able to eat only the one without beef as other 2 were very hot. So all 3 items werent as requested.

Love the pad Thai. I love meat but the tofu is soon good that I dont even bother adding any meat. I asked for spicy, It wasnt hot enough for me, next time Ill let them know I want real heat. Chicken wings are amazing, crispy and made to order

Have always been a big fan of thai express, chose it over all others. for their care and flavour in every meal! the past 3 times in the last month or two has been unfit to eat, throwing more than half out, which is sad i LOVE your pad thai but this was the last straw. tonight my spicy beef pad thai tasted like a burnt dirty pan that hasnt been cleaned all day, the noodles are always under cooked and rushed now, the beef was cold and gritty, and not a DROP of spice on it.... caught myself forcing it down thinking if it tastes gross, isnt spicy, and doesnt seem cooked why in the hell am i eating this, and worst of all why did i PAY for it. I suggest management pulls up their socks before they ruing a good reputation fast. people come for your amazing thai food. not kids rushing half cooked ingredients out the door so they can listen to music and hang out
I normally love this place but the one in sackville always messes it up and I hate paying 15 dollars for a meal I didnt order.
Service is terrible, quality of the food not worth the price, I will not return and will share my experience with everyone I know.
Ordered beef stir fried meal for like 15 dollar and I felt like I just wasted 15 dollars on a plate of steamed rice wont be back.....

They never pick up the phone even when they are open.....
Came in just before 9:00pm and said they were closed. They close at 9:00pm, not 8:59. July 24. 2020 - Went again at 9:04pm and was told they were closed. Clearly stated online and on thier own door they close at 10:00:pm. Brought that to thier attention and they argued, even when I showed them thier hours posted, on their own door.

Fall 2020: What a terrible franchise. Once again trying to give this location a chance to redeem itself. Checked google and their website to make sure they were open. Arrived at the location and the store was closed, even though their physical store signage also states 10 PM. Spoke to the staff and they indicated they changed their hours. I have no problem with a business changing their operating hours but it seems this location does this frequently and without notice. Over the past 2 years I have arrived at the location multiple times to have it be closed when all posted hours state open. This store is embarrassing, and its embarrassing that their corporate office allows them to tarnish their business name. Officially done with this location and Im 100% always driving to Cha Baa Thai. They seem to respect their customers.

Got 3 meals today for take out got all the way home and theres a burnt oily taste throughout all three meals, doesnt taste anything like the one in the mall. Called twice for a refund no answer

This spot was good until today... the beef we got was tough and chewy, and the worst part of it all, was that I found an expiration date sticker in my pad Thai. Not happy with this at all.
If I could give no stars I would. No online ordering available, would not answer phone to take a pick up order. Notified me when I placed 4 out of 6 orders that they do not take more then 4 orders over the phone. Will not take payment over the phone. If you re looking for a place to order a business lunch or treat for your team, this is not it!
I ordered ahead and was told 20 min. I arrived 20 minutes later and had to wait an additional 25 minutes. Other customers numbers were called a head of mine and had to approach the counter to find out they missed my order. Had given me my spring rolls when I arrived so were cold by the time my order arrived...okay...thats the service! I ordered the cashew chicken...it was the worst cashew chicken I have ever tasted. I cannot express enough my disappointment. I could overlook the service if the food was good, but it wasnt even close to Thai food I have had in Halifax. Such a disappointment.

Ordered Green Curry Chicken from the Lower Sackville location and got a bowl of grey puke with over cooked chicken. Horrible! Obviously do not know how to flavor or use fish sauce. Ended up violently ill that night. Food poisoning? Such a contrast with the Dartmouth Crossing location which makes delicious combos.
