Decent food. Quite a wait after ordering and multiple mentions of the casino (which you overlook while eating), leading us to believe that they're trying to get you to gamble after your meal. Casino is loud, making it not so easy to have a conversation while eating. Chicken cordon bleu was okay 4/5; Pasta carbonara was 3/5; spinach dip appetizer 6/5. Liked the house salad.
Bar tender needs to be a little friendlier to everyone not just her friends. I saw two people walk away because she didn’t acknowledge them at all. Never asked me if I wanted food or how my drink was. Not only was her service bad , it’s like she went out of her way to ignore customers. Very rare that I leave a bad review but this was a very bad experience.
Best sea food platter and fish and Chips. Service was great. Owner and staff very welcoming . Would of like to have gone back for breakfast but didn't make it. Will definitely visit again
Wow escargot 1 was good bread couldn’t eat so hard. Ribs very average. Bison burger was dry grisly and not many condiments.. side Greek salad was so small honestly I ate it in 2 bites. Wine was perfect
Showed up and first noticed the over head music was LOUD. When seated I asked for a table away from the music. I was told speakers are everywhere and would not be able to escape the music. Next request was can you please turn it down. Apparently the staff cannot adjust the volume. Ordered the chicken cordon blue, Veg where boiled cold (butter not melted) and previously frozen, chicken looked like the frozen ones and was processed chicken, and the Cesar salad had soggy croutons. The baked salmon the salad dressing was on the bottom, the sauce drowned the salmon was starting to crust over , baked potato served with butter and sour cream. The salads are premade Since we where starving we dug it. It was ok, barely. The server came up and said, "oh your food is good by the way you eating it" I looked at her dumb founded. My first thought of reply was "are you surprised we are eating it" Instead I said it was Just ok. She liked that answer and said enjoy as she walked away. Guess she was surprised we eat it. I know should have asked for the manager but was tired and have stayed in the hotel before but wanted to experience the restaurant. On my way through next time,will get a frozen dinner from the hotel and nuke it
Easily accessible from the hotel next door, through the pedway. The restaurant is set above the casino floor, and completely open. It does offer a nice view of all the games, but the sounds from downstairs are all you can hear. The food was quite good, nothing special. It was the first time I've ever seen turkey and waffles on a menu, very unique.
Food was great! Walking distance to the Quality Inn Hotel. We were lucky to get a table, they had a cancellation. Unfortunately the service was slow, but they were busy.
Another wonderful experience at Valley View! Our waitress was Barbara, she is so friendly and attentive. We ordered fish and chips, ribs and the Chef's Special. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!

This is one of the best restaurants in the province. Valley View never disappoints, food and service are always second to none.
A stop is necessary every time you pass by... Salmon starter is delicious as is the rib eye

We always stay and eat x2 per year on our way to Campbellton. We had reservations for 630pm, the Front desk host kept running around back and forth,bit hectic We waited quite a while before we were acknowledged and ordered drinks and waited more,the.table next to us came in after us and had drinks before we got ours Our server was in training and had too many tables all over the.floor We ordered steak dinner for 2 as we always do, steak cooked perfectly but cold fries, baked potato cold andnot cooked fully,butter would not even melt. Chef salad no dressing and covered in onions when we asked for no onions, missing ceasar salad but we never saw our server to let her know
Just had dinner there. after waiting 45 min for our meals. Food was not worth the price. Didnt even finish half my rib eye as it had no flavor and most was all fat, baked potatoe wasnt well cooked. Waitress came to bring us our food and bill never in-between for a drink refill or anything. After spending $100, we walked to Tim hortons next door.

We had a reservation for dinner. We were seated our waitress came with water and got me a tea. We never seen her again. After 25 minutes of waiting we got up and left. I can not tell you how the food was as we were not given the opportunity to order. Very poor customer service. They were not that busy at the time plenty of empty tables still. Will still will be staying at the hotel and go to the casino but will not eat there again.
We have been traveling through this great country for 2 weeks and so far we have never been disappointed in the restaurants. Until now. We had the onion soup and the salmon, as a side dish the Caesar salad. The only thing that tasted good was the salad - thats why it gets 1 star. The onion soup was neither French nor an actual soup. It was like fried onions diluted with gravy to make a soup. The salmon was swimming in a strange sauce and was also overcooked. Oh yes, the beer was delicious and the service was friendly... Next time well eat cheese chips from the gas station instead.
An excellent menu with something for everyone and for every budget. The staff is friendly, the ambience is nice and lively and the food is excellent! A nice place to have diner and then take your chances at the Casino! Parking: Plenty of parking around the Casino... free parking! Kid-friendliness: Not a kid oriented place since it is in a Casino, but the restaurant is on the second floor and kids are welcome. The menu does nit have a ton of options for kids. Basically kids can eat there and its OK for a family gathering, but that is not really a familt oriented restaurant.
The restaurant with a view of the casino is something different and doesnt invite you to whisper because of the background noise. Since we didnt have a reservation, we were seated at the bar, which wasnt a bad thing per se. The service was nice and the beer was served quickly. We chose the French onion soup, Caesar salad and the salmon. Which unfortunately, I have to write, was a bad decision. The one star is only given because the rolls with butter and the salad tasted good. Unfortunately Im at a loss for words when it comes to the soup and the salmon, it was so bad. Maybe youre better off with meat in restaurants that are designed for mass consumption.

Very good food and friendly staff. The only con was waiting for staff to being us to a table, other than that; the service while at our table was impeccable.
Clean and nicely decorated. Very welcoming. Quick service and our server, Carmen, was wonderful. She is a very attentive person, which is tricky as she was running the whole time. Excellent food cooked to perfection.
Tasty crispy chicken Wings, Ceasars salad is good, soups of the day is fine, spaghetti is simple not that special I like the server/associates specifically the ( tall slender guy) his very nice! The tables and high chairs were clean just a relaxing place to dine in

Best fish and ship and the wine is cheap. We go there every time we stay. You can also eat the steak special and a glass of wine for two. Its also excellent. Whats interesting is that we can go down and play the slot machines with our last glass of wine. No need to rush to finish it . The service is excellent and their accent is really super cute. Very poor front of house staff, waiting to be seated, several servers come and go, not one acknowledge me standing there. I felt rushed to order drinks and dinner at the same time. The food was good but the overall experience was poor due to staff.

Nice service, decent place, but the food leaves a bit to be desired. Had the salmon and couldnt eat it. Your mileage may vary, I guess. Heard they had a different chef before. Also, apparently, the smoked meat sandwich used to be a lot better.

The steak is USUALLY GOOD...BUT WAS WAY OVER COOKED...and had to argue to not pay for it even if we only tock one bite....the other steak was over cooked as well...ive eaten here 100s of times....but not sure if ill be back......

We went to visit friends in Saint-Michel de Squatec and we decided to eat at this restaurant. The filet mignon was succulent and the fish and chip very good. Very friendly waitress and very good service. Certainly we will return there.

Food 5/5. Service 1/5. We were here last week and food and service were both excellent. Tonight that was not the case. We had a reservation but we re treated like inconveniences when we arrived. Very unfriendly. We were shown to the worst table in the restaurant, despite the fact that most tables were empty. We asked to be seated at a window table further from the noise of the casino. We were told all tables were reserved. Only one had a reserved sign, and in fact one of the tables did not have a single person seated at it for the whole two hours we were there. Our server was uncommunicative and offhanded. Our plates were quickly slapped down on our table and the server barely stopped by our table in a cursory way. Very disappointing. We are usually 20% plus tippers, but in this case we left no tip. We will likely not return to this restaurant, unless there is no other choice in town. And we will certainly not recommend it to anyone else. Two thumbs down. Sorry folks.

I had missed going there with COVID and very happy to be able to enjoy the Valley View salad and always perfectly cooked steak again. This restaurant has awesome staff, excellent food and service. Its the perfect spot for business meetings or get togethers with friends.

Poor welcome at the restaurant, deplorable table service, 2 hour wait to receive our meal, ordinary food and so on on this awful evening.
The matron met us promptly and eagerly and seated us perfectly. The waitress was very efficient and pleasant. The wine chosen by the wait/ bar staff was perfectly paired. The food (Steak supper for two) was beyond excellent. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked, the salads were crisp and not overpowered withe dressing, the bread was fresh and tasty, the sauces were flavourful. In all an excellent experience.
Let me start with the service...IMPECCABLE!!! Vicky was awesome. She took care of all 10.of us without missing a beat. Thank you for a great dinner with friends. The ribeye dinner was perfectly cooked. It was a nice thick cut of meat with just the right seasoning. The salad was fresh and crisp with just the right amount of dressing. We had the steak dinner for 2. What a great meal for the price.
