Burst. WAIT 3 hours for a cold filet mignon

I had fish & chips. Tartar sauce no fish flavor no spice. Hamburger no action and overcooked.

Really disappointed, my partner received his plate when I had already finished mine and the salmon, really small portion and no vegetables, very bland plates, I spoke with the cook and he was very arrogant, so its the last time for us at this place and service leaves something to be desired, very long In short, I really don t recommend it

Arriving at 5:34 p.m., we were the 3rd table seated. More than an hour to serve the plates. It begins badly! I treat myself: $42 filet mignon 6 ounces tasteless, dry, really bland. Full of filament, not at all tender at the height of a $42 plate Not suitable for children. There is no menu other than the table d hôte at $60 I return my plate and they offer me another one but I dont have time to wait another hour with my 4 year old daughter... its late The waitress tells me that we wont load the plate. My parents finish their salad which is bathed in a cheap Cesar vinaigrette with a soft salad. Honestly disgusting. We don t eat fries that taste like bad oil Nor the vegetables without tasting too oily, soft and burnt!! No but They serve you a plate of crusty bread with canola oil and balsamic it s very oily, poor quality oil My plate is finally loaded OMG!! The owner responds to me with arrogance!! What a bad experience :( We end up at Shish Taouk opposite!

Friendly atmosphere only element to criticize, the opening hours and days... For a tourist place like Magog we expect more. We understand that there ARE likely staff shortage issues.

The service is long (1 hour wait). Dessert In terms of meals, its a little expensive for what you eat.

Beautiful newly renovated place, excellent food, the big downside is the time between each course, at 2 of us, it took us 2h15 to eat and pay the bill...Its a bit long for 3 courses.... despite everything, the food and the service, top!! Friendly employees Havent been back since the new owners....

I had fish and chips as a meal, it was very bad, overcooked, very few fries. The coleslaw was roughly chopped with no taste. The tartar sauce was so runny it looked like it had been left on the counter. I got sick after this meal.

We went for dinner with my 2 grandchildren, it took a long time to get it served, For the meal fish a d ship very very fatty, cabbage salad taste of old cabbage out of date, hamburger really overcooked, very ordinary fries very fatty, the only positive point very nice view of the main street Really overpriced for the quality of the meal

I recently had the pleasure of having lunch in this exceptional restaurant, and I can only highly recommend this address! The service was impeccable, with an attentive and friendly team who really helped make our experience enjoyable. The atmosphere of the place is both elegant and relaxed, ideal for a peaceful meal. As for the eggs benedict with smoked salmon, they were simply divine! It was a delight for the taste buds! In summary, a restaurant that combines excellent cuisine, impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere. An address not to be missed !

Best steak Ive ever eaten hands down

We went to the wicked Steak de Magog and It was a Thursday and a Steak and fries special for $25, and normally this plate costs $33, so a nice $8 special. When the plate arrives, surprise! A steak and fries nothing else, well dry. My partner asked him for a dish of sauce and it was a spoonful. Normally the steak is $33, includes vegetables and a good sauce, but the waitress tells us that the famous $25 special does not include the side dishes, so for them a $25 special, they remove everything. However, if St-Hubert does a special on a breast, there will be sauce, salad and bread as usual. You have to be CHEAP to the T to do SPECIALS like that.

the atmosphere is perfect and the employers are very charismatic, we received our food quickly and it was very good

Wednesday May 22, 2024, for a while, we wanted to try their Wednesday special Fish & Chips at $19 (bring your own wine). A nice welcome with Matty. A small warm baguette, with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, was served to us before the meal. We chose (a treat) to have a starter for two, a Croquette de fromage (goat cheese) on salad, simply delicious. Then the Fish & Chips (haddock) was served to us with homemade fries and a salad. Honestly, everything was delicious. Thanks to Matty and their team.

Please dont go to Thursday steak and fries for $25/person. Steak with a lot of tygnasse, impossible to chew. Please raise your prices with a piece of meat worthy of Méchant Steak.

The dining experience I had in preparation for a show at the Old Bell Tower left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, the meal fell far short of my expectations. The meat served was not only cold but also tasteless, devoid of any flavor that could have enlivened my palate. The pepper sauce, which was supposed to spice up the dish, was simply execrable, adding an unpleasant note to an already disappointing experience. The breaded starters, advertised as a delicious introduction to the meal, were in reality a complete disappointment, as they simply tasted like ordinary fried food, without any subtlety or finesse. The only positive aspect of the evening was the wine we brought with us, as it was the only element that managed to somewhat enhance our disappointing meal

We had been there several years with a couple of friends and decided to return, we arrived at the opening and the service was very good, we had a beef tartare.. presentation very good, taste.. raw beef we we added salt and pepper to help us, we asked for a Virgin Cesar he had no soft drinks and no sparkling water we priced a steak and fries cooked med/rare received rare, I understand that we were in May and that the pandemic has done a lot of harm to all restaurateurs, but I was disappointed, for the atmosphere and waiter 10/10

The Mean Filet Mignon Burger is actually a dry PORK patty!! (There s not even pork on the menu). When mentioned to the waiter, he said he noticed it too. I asked him to notify the manager (who wasnt there) and the waiter told me that the CHEF DONT CARE!!! I was not given any other explanation. So this will be our last experience.

Very nice experience with Maty the waiter and owner...attentive, funny and relaxed service. For my part I tasted the tartare as well as the goats cheese croquette, YUM. A beautiful and young company that deserves to be visited and supported. Long live our entrepreneurs who have heart in their stomach. Thank you, everything was on point.

Delicious but not big portions for the price. Good service... BUT, they do not allow you to give a personalized tip on the terminal (the real 15% before taxes), there is no option. We are forced to take 15% on taxes, which is unacceptable. The waitresses - who provide good service - are already taking advantage of the soaring prices. I will return when the option becomes available; in other words bad business strategy

Nice clean place. I ordered the Thursday steak/fries. The portion is rather small. I would have liked to have a little vegetable on my plate and/or a small salad, with a little dip for the fries but not just a handful of fries with the piece of meat. I was really left wanting more.

We went to this restaurant because our last visits were flawless, good service, excellent food. Yesterday, what a failure, very ordinary food, no taste sauce, barely hot enough. In my opinion, the cook (not a chef) was more interested in having fun than in making meals worthy of the banner and especially the price asked and its not because he was very busy, the restaurant was barely busy. There were 6 of us, and we will not try this experience again because we are very disappointed. In the summer of October 28, 2023, this was our last visit because we were still disappointed. The undercooked steak, Super C quality, on a 14 ounce steak, there was barely a third of it edible for $45. I find their menu to be minimalist, not much choice. We wont go back there again.

When we arrived we were told that we had 2 hours to eat. It took 1h20 before receiving his dish! The salmon was like fried on the side opposite the skin so it had a very fatty dry crust . scandalous for salmon! The fries look nothing like real fries! Never again!

The lamb was really dry and tough. Inedible. We turned the plate over. The first plate of salmon with the risotto was cold and dry, it looks like they reheated yesterdays plate plus there was half the risotto from what you see in the photos. . When they replaced the risotto was better. More fresher taste, but half of what you see in photo The waitress was really good and had her service

This place should be avoided if you are looking for a good address. The meals are served cold, the prices are completely unjustified and the service is very ordinary. We were all unanimously disappointed with our plates, which varied between $30 and $50 We had to return a dish, dry and cold. The only positive thing was the crème brûlée. Big disappointment!

Le steak est brûler à lextérieur, bleu à lintérieur alors quon à demandé saignant. Plus de gras que de viande sur le steak, les légumes non aucun goût. Le burger est trop cuit, sec et sans goût et les frites sont froides et manque de cuisson. Impressionnant a quelle point nous avons été déçu. Une chance que la serveuse étais gentille.

This restaurant in downtown Magog has very good steak and superb desserts. As the restaurant was full, it was very noisy. People were in a really good mood. As everything was delicious, it made you forget the noise.

Despite some negative comments that I had read during this time of labor shortage, we were very satisfied with our experience last night. The service was impeccable, the meals, cooking and accompaniment excellent. Overall, I consider that the prices of the meals were more than respectable knowing that you can buy poutines for $20 elsewhere... Well done to the whole team and thank you for giving us a wonderful evening during our vacation. I recommend without hesitation!

My partner and I did not have a great experience. I had a rib eye steak and it was full of fat, I had difficulty cutting it and it wasnt seasoned at all, it just tasted like fat and the pepper sauce was really not good. While my partner tried the ribs and they were not tender and had a lot of fat also. Very disappointed also for the price paid. I recommend another restaurant!

Great restaurant Beautiful look inside Reliable price Good quality and cooking Small downsides: 1: the fries served with the steaks are of the local potato type (Belle Province style)... really not my style for a good big filet mignon.. 2: And finally, I found that the tartare had a little too much onion and could have had a little caper to increase the saltiness of the recipe. The croutons were a bit too thick and tended to hurt the palate.

The food (3 courses for me, 2 for my wife) is bland and tasteless, the best part of the meal was the wine (which we brought ourselves). Despite everything, Jérémy who served us is extremely friendly and accommodating. He credited us for part of the meal since we told him of our dissatisfaction.

I ordered the steak rare and it was very good. I tasted the fish & chips and the lamb and they were also good. We waited a bit long for our food and it was hot inside the restaurant.

After waiting for 45 minutes for our food , the server came to tell us there was no fish and chips left. Took another 30 min at least to be served. We had to ask for ketchup for our fri s and she brought 1 very small container half full. Hamberger at 22$ not worth the price

Very good as a restaurant. My partner chose Filet Mignon and Shrimp, excellent, perfectly cooked. I let myself be tempted by the Macreuse which I never eat in a restaurant but Wow it was succulent. A small downside for his starter we chose the fried squid. The squid was tender but the breading tasted absolutely nothing, a little adjustment in spices and everything would be perfect. And if sometimes you let yourself be tempted by the desserts and you choose the apple pie which is excellent, take it for two, the portion is very generous.

Pour le prix, la qualité nétait pas à son meilleur. La cuisson de nos deux steaks était un à deux niveaux trop cuit... ce qui est décevant pour un steakhouse. Les frites accompagnant le steak étaient quelconques et certaines entrées étaient un peu chères. Dommage, car on espérait trouver un bon steakhouse et le serveur était bien gentil.

My salmon tartare tasted too much like Dijon mustard, my partners beef tartare lacked flavor, not to mention the medium rare filet mignon which was brought to me raw I had to send it back to cook twice. The positive point was that I was not charged for the filet mignon which was served to me raw. I will not return to this place. Big disappointment for the first time.

Enjoyed this friendly and warm restaurant. We eat well there. Everyone enjoyed their meal. For my part, I ate ribs which were very good. My partner chose the filet mignon which was good but a little more cooked than requested. It was excessively hot in the restaurant. There was a special: pay $15 and well take $30 off the bill. All in all, a lovely evening. It should be mentioned that the restaurant is located on the main street in Magog, which is currently under reconstruction. Take this into account for people with reduced mobility. Good evening!

We went there for dinner, beautiful atmosphere and beautiful decoration. The service was OK. Scallop starter (2) $16 (scallop nerve not removed) and really not great taste. The mussels good, the butterfly shrimp good but need salt and pepper. I think seafood is not their specialty maybe better to stick with the steaks. The fries excellent. Well try again!

We had the calamari and scallops as starter, which were nice. My wife had the tartare which was too heavy on mustard and I had the entrecote which was a little overcooked and a bit nervy. Service was ok.

I loved the lunch, the brunch is complete and there are good meats.. everything is sophisticated on the plate... stands out from the ordinary lunch... great service!
