Very disappointed, I ordered a medium rare flank steak but it was blue. When the waitress finally came to our table after spending too much time on her cell phone, I had finished grubbing around her because she was full of nerves that wouldnt stop. She said she was sorry and told us that if I had mentioned it sooner, she would have had it redone. On the other hand, she was too busy going back to her cell phone, there were only 3 tables, one of which had finished. So she wasnt overwhelmed at all. We were seated near the kitchens and we could hear the cooks having way too much fun shouting and laughing... Overall, very bad experience. We paid the bill in full and left the place very disappointed... positive point, the shallot sauce was very good.

Amazing service, great food that arrived quickly. The best Poutine we have ever had!

I am greeted by a nice lady who takes me to my seat, and then the circus begins, the three waiters insist on knowing who will take care of me. I look at them and say: Flipper then. 25 cents!!!! The waiter looks at me, and says to my face in a kind of flat joke, I dont feel like taking care of you!! Followed by stupid laughter. Meanwhile, on two occasions, customers who are already seated at their tables get up to ask for things while the three servers are chatting and grabbing donuts in the kitchen. There is no boss and that was it, I was served by a teenager, no smarter than a door handle! And with incredible arrogance! The food is super good, but unfortunately my experience was so unpleasant :) I have already been a waiter for 15 years of my life, which is why I allow myself a criticism like this.

I found La Memphré to be a good experience, but never quite transcended that to be a great one. The food was pretty good and I found the beer selection okay, but was hoping for a few other options. The service was quick and very friendly, and the building was warm, welcoming and comfortable.

A microbrewery that doesnt treat its beer enthusiasts properly! After a loooong wait at the bar without anyone coming to explain the reason for the delay, we were served two pints of Pointe à Merry flat and room temperature. Barrel change! I think a real microphone wouldnt have dared to serve them to us and would have apologized by offering us something else. Or at least wouldnt have charged them. At $9.50 a pint it would have been appreciated. Besides, the glass (balloon) that was brought to us did not seem to contain a pint, this should be checked......rather a 25cl!!? It was our second and last evening at this microbrewery. And the first time we were charged extra for the veggie hamburger patty, which was frankly ordinary! Beer lovers: move on

Pleasantly Surprised! An October evening...with a nice temperature again but they couldnt open the terrace...a shame but I understand! Moderate to a tiny bit pricey ($9 CAD a beer, $20 CAD for a proper meal) but really very good. La principale and la grand dame beers are great (didnt try the others). La bucanière poutine also fantastic.

Wow! I loved my experience. We toured the regions microbreweries with friends and this one was our favorite. The beers were all excellent, the service perfect, the atmosphere festive and the location ideal. Regarding the food, the prices are the same as you can find elsewhere, but we have better quality and we get more for our money! We had nachos to share (which were huge and well stocked), a le boss burger as well as a classic poutine. Everything was perfect, we had a great time!

One if not the best of the micro breweries we visited on our bike trip of the Eastern townships. Food was delicious and the beers were the star of the show. Surprisingly busy on a wet Wednesday evening which speaks volumes to the quality and value.

Poutine with duck confit and blue cheese sauce deserves its place at poutine week! The beer-food pairing offered is very nice. Small downside on the burgers which lack a little kick in my opinion.

In terms of food and service, everything was perfect! The American hamburger was excellent for me. Same thing for my partners duck confit salad. It was the atmosphere that got worse. We were outside on the terrace, to the side and the noise from the street, non-stop, was infernal (at supper time, on a weekday evening). In addition, a train passed during our dinner, a few meters from us. Phew. Bad experience.

Excellent meal, service and atmosphere

Not worth it.

There were 5 of us and we were placed in places where we would always have to be brushed against by the waiters/customers. We had to ask to be moved 3 times. But otherwise, the table service was really great, fast, pleasant. And the dishes were generous and delicious.

Good surprise, the terrace is pleasant and the service was very good! The beer tasting (4 of 5oz) was perfect for two people to share, we loved the sour of the moment. The dishes are nice even if there is a lack of vegetarian dishes, I recommend the pepper hummus! The big plus, they accept dogs on the terrace! Vegetarian options: There are only three possible dishes: classic poutine, salad and pepper hummus. That said, the hummus was very good!

The meat of the hamburgers was stiff and tasteless, the bread dry and the service lacking.

Typical pub...typical pub food. We ordered the American burger plate and the beer-battered fish and chips. All was well prepared and tasty. Service was just okay...utensils missing, we asked for ketchup...they brought an empty bottle. Table was sticky and dirty...the reviews were good, but in the end we werent overly impressed.

Its difficult to evaluate the cuisine because we only had a humus and pita plate, but it was good. We took two beer tasting strips, 8 of which were different. It goes without saying that we cannot love them all, but we loved several of them all the same. The service is fast and courteous and with a smile. The terrace is very well furnished and protected from the sun by large canvases.

We had reserved. But we were taken to a table that was very far away from the rest of the restaurant. It was awful and terribly hot. We asked to go inside as there was no other place. We were taken into a dark, depressing , empty resto. We left, and did not order.

An address not to be missed when you come to Magog. The food is very good and the staff who serve and listen. Depending on the time sometimes it will take a little longer but its worth it.

Food and drinks are excellent Needs a little love on the terrace, beautiful new floor, however, many tables all crooked or damaged, melamine torn and sharp making the wood of these tables soaked with water.

Ive been there a few times at different times of the year and I highly suggest booking in advance if you want a spot on the terrace in the summer! Very nice place, the atmosphere is warm and the terrace is super beautiful, although close to the street and very busy! The beer is always good and there is a wide choice. I often eat the same burger when I go there, its because its worth it!

We had a nice welcome, a table on the terrace with a beautiful view of Lake Memphremagog. Very friendly and smiling waitress. The food was delicious and generous. I liked the fact that dogs were accepted, beautiful, calm doggies. Recommended!

Its a lovely place, we booked online and the only availability was before 5:30pm or after 7pm on a Friday evening. We booked at 5:30 p.m. as planned but found that the place was only 25% busy, otherwise we would not have booked and would have arrived later. Nevertheless, we liked it and were very well served and welcomed. The meal we had was excellent

Beer served in + small glasses and not cheaper. I have been bitterly disappointed for some time with this beautiful nugget from yesteryear. The beer is still good, fortunately.

We had a reservation at 5:30, we went to our table at 5:50, it was very long. We were in a small room that looked more like a storage room than a dining room. My chair was very unstable it creaked everywhere and I wondered if it would last until the end of the meal. Our waitress was very nice and very good. The food was good. But 0 atmosphere, near the toilets. Im disappointed.

Great spot for excellent food and drink! The server saw us struggling with the menu and happily provided one in English for us. The poutine with duck was phenomenal and the beers tasty. Highly recommend!

Superb terrace, very pleasant! Dietary restrictions: I chose the Portuguese-style chicken labeled gluten-free which includes Caesar salad and barbecue sauce. When I order a gluten-free dish, I expect all the ingredients in the dish to be gluten-free, but apparently there is wheat in the barbecue sauce offered and the Caesar salad normally comes with croutons. If you remember to specify that you do not consume gluten, the dish will be served without the croutons and without the barbecue sauce! At that point, poutine like many other dishes could be labeled gluten-free, it would be enough to serve it without the brown sauce Otherwise, there is gluten-free beer, and despite the fact that it is in a can, it was quite good :-)

The duck salad is excellent! The service is A+ and so is the atmosphere. Plus we have a beautiful view! Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to dairy products and the duck salad was adapted for me (i.e. I did not have the cheese sauce) Wheelchair accessibility: No there are steps to enter

Excellent microbrewery in the heart of Magog! Impeccable service and menus. To add to your list of must-sees in Estrie!

Group of 11 with several problems: Received a drink different from what ordered. All the meats on the burgers were pink, second cooking and came back the same. Different menu than mentioned on the scanned and online menu (no fondue or risotto or le petit paillot) The benches are crooked, the padding comes out and the tables are not at the same level. Two unisex toilets on the main floor, one of which does not lock. For a first visit to Magog, we were disappointed with this pub.

In my opinion the terrace needs some love. The furniture is cleared. We had nachos and a pitcher of red beer. Ours for me is 6/10.

You can t go wrong with this restaurant! Yes there is a waiting time, but it s worth it. Thats the only restaurant I go to when I m in town!

Excellent atmosphere and food! They also had a good beer selection, and the two brews I tried were great. The server was very friendly and helpful; she not only gave excellent recommendations about items on the menu, but also on local things to do and places to visit! We were a group of Americans who knew very limited French, and all the employees here were extremely kind about it and willing to switch to speaking English for us. Definitely will return on my next trip to Orford! Parking: There is a parking lot on a side street for the restaurant, but it was very full, and we were lucky to get a spot. Since the restaurant is located on a main street, however, there is an abundance of paid parking to be found there.

We came to Magog for a day trip on our Montreal vacation and stopped here for lunch. Confession...as Americans, we were not entirely impressed with the Canadian craft beer scene. But, this was the best beer we had while in Quebec. The food, however, was delicious! First time having fondue and it was SO good! Great service and atmosphere too.

The restaurant was too hot for the month of May. It was unpleasant to be inside. We rushed to pay to go get some fresh air. The waitress very friendly and efficient, great service. I dont recommend you for good food... too much disappointment.
