Restaurant Fondissimo in Magog

The cheese fondue was excellent. The quantities were perfect. For once I found that there were also enough vegetables on my plate. I will come back with pleasure.

Fantastic in every way, except that the entrance to the restaurant is a bit weird (there are like sinks) and the tables are too close together in the center.

Food and service...excellent. Very active staff but very noisy restaurant. Forget face to face.

Very good restaurant, I had two choices for the fondue. One of the choices, however, was the veggie sausage, which tasted super good, unfortunately it is not consistent enough and falls apart, which makes melting a bit more complicated. The service was really fast and good, nothing to say! The atmosphere is good however I found it very noisy, the restaurant is super beautiful! I liked my overall experience, great discovery!

Always a superb evening at Fondissimo...beautiful atmosphere, warm and cozy place...the fondues are excellent as well as the cheese verrine for dessert...impeccable service from our waiter Anthony and our charming and cute waitress with big glasses with black frames (his name escapes me)..his service was friendly and attentive..the only downside: the beef tartare as a starter was not spicy enough and lacked flavor but for the rest it was a perfect score...weve come a long way but its all worth it...well be back shortly..

A big wow we discovered this restaurant thanks to a package with the Bolton spa and I am more than delighted! Everything was more than perfect, the service, the welcome, the atmosphere, and above all the food OMG the sauces the large and fresh shrimp scallops, we were full (are not chippe) on the portions. We loved our experience at this restaurant. The meat was varied and tender (yapiti, wild boar, Kangaroo). The accompanying Greek style potatoes, a beautiful vegetable skewer and the salad were succulent. My partner had meat fondue while I had cheese. It is possible to have both without problem at the same table. Children are welcome and they were very well received with a lovely meal just for them (beef or chicken meat fondue) and a dessert from the menu. My girlfriend loved finishing her meal with a nice chocolate fondue. We drink our wine, since it is also a BYOB. Wow! I recommend +++

The beef broth had no flavor too diluted with water, not really hot and 200g of meat is very little There should be outdoor cousins sitting on chairs very badly!

Its very rare that I take the time to leave a comment following a dinner in a restaurant but this one is more than worth it. If you are passing through Magog, this fondue restaurant is worth the detour. The atmosphere, the service, the quality of the meat everything was there. I loved my dinner

How to sum up my experience in one word: wow! Its all a culinary experience. We rarely have the chance to say that we have eaten kangaroo, elk or wild boar! The meat was tender, the accompaniments were excellent, and the four sauces too (special mention to the saffron and maple sauce!) We had the blue cheese fondue as a starter, and it was divine! And the cheesecake for dessert, wow, it was so good and soft! The service was perfect, and the atmosphere too, I highly recommend this restaurant which gives you an extraordinary culinary experience!

Really a beautiful restaurant with a bit of an industrial look. Impeccable service, the waitresses were impeccable. As for the food, sweet potatoes, sweet pickles, sweet vinaigrette... not our cast the pairing with our meal, it didnt work... otherwise generous portions, and I repeat, really excellent service. Desserts not homemade.. to work on..

Good meal, but expensive. Limited quantity but ok. Old-fashioned industrial atmosphere. Very noisy. The most negative point is the size of the tables, the tables are overloaded with stoves. Sharp knives would help enormously especially since people have already made this comment. Parking: Old factory, so lots of places. Wheelchair accessibility: Access ramp.

First time at the restaurant. Really good. Nice welcome, immediately upon arriving, the waiter showed us where the people were waiting for us, certainly small details but very important in my eyes. Interior of the restaurant as I like it, walls, woodwork. Perfect brightness, lighting and music. We got our moneys worth, We knew at the start that it would cost us at least a brown. We had the sliced beef and chicken fondue. Very good. Quality vegetable, but a little Big, could be cut a little smaller. I recommend.

W0W! First time for us and yes we will go back! We took 2 cheese fondue tables and it was enough. The food was good and the food quality was there I love that its a BYOB. $120 for 2 Its a place more festive than cocooning. But when you know, its ok! And the waitress Brittanie was really welcoming and professional!

The food is good and the employees are very courteous. However, the service time was terribly long. At least 1 hour wait before receiving the starters, another 30 minutes before receiving the main meal and another 30 minutes before desserts. It was endless... In total we stayed almost 4 hours in the restaurant. I will not return for this reason.

Very nice restaurant! The pink pepper fondue is excellent, the best thing on the menu! The service is always great. Its rather expensive but for the quality and quantity received its well worth it. The only downside is that the room is noisy.

Yesterday was our first experience and never again. The food was good however but the broccoli was cut very roughly impossible to have a steak knife only butter knife so very difficult to cut the huge broccoli. In addition, the service was completely absent and the waitress never came to see us to ask us if it was to our taste. We took the choice of 4 meats twice and we would have liked to order more meat later and also side dishes but no one ever came to see us. After 1 hour I had to ask for water because she never brought us any. Finally after 2 hours we asked for the PCQ bill literally we were not forgotten or just that it told him not to give us a service!!! Very disappointed, your service should be reviewed!

The fondue broth was not very spicy, there were 4 of us and we were all disappointed.

This is not the first time and certainly not the last! Atmosphere #1 Service #1 Food #1 Scallop starter with green pea purée excellent! The duck and peach salad WOW! Duck tartare and orange mayo was sublime! Crushed tomatoes and bocconcini were more than perfect, the flavors mixed well! Blue cheese fondue was a hit! The wow and re wow desserts! Lovely welcome, attentive waitresses, owner on site who ensures that everything is perfect! Don t give up and thank you for the beautiful evening!

We had a traditional cheese fondue (with white wine like all the other fondues) and one with calvados and my god were going to have to be a lot less generous with the alcohol. For the traditional one I tasted the wine much more than the cheese which is a real shame, the one with calvados was just inedible quite honestly, I felt like I was drinking calvados from the bottle. We should give an option without white wine or perhaps with a quantity that does not exceed the legal limit for driving! Too bad because apart from that everything was correct! Pleasant service and the tartare starter was good

Good, but not extraordinary for the price. $129.92 + tips. 2 x table dhotes. The guy from the woods is $59 and The jack of all trades is $51 (+ $3 extra for a tartare of the moment starter) Bring your own wine, a chance! The traditional cheese fondue was excellent!! Didnt receive all the side dishes that came with it, like apples. The caribou tartare was very good! The broth of the Chinese fondue had no flavor, so all the meats tasted like boiled meats. Much too diluted, its a shame. The portion of the Chinese fondue accompaniments are huge!! If we go back it will be for the cheese fondue as a main course. The service was excellent!! As well as the atmosphere!!! Super nice and helpful waitress!

The table dhôte is so much that the dessert is for takeaway but seriously we say its melted but wow melted with pink pepper cheese and the potato salad and vegetable plates, the generous portions and the sauces OMG the one with sick saffron, the service, Eve is really the Best of Best, seriously, the service was great, in fact the whole thing. We have been customers for so long that the premises were not in this location!!! Fondissimon a restaurant that I recommend x 1000!!!!

The staff is very welcoming and very classy. The presentation of the menu is excellent. However, the time before being served is extremely long. 1 hour before having our meal, a meal which by the way does not even need to be cooked since it is fondue. The terrace is very very disappointing. At such a classy location, youd expect a view of the lake or something, but instead were treated to a view of red brick walls of an abandoned factory and 4 foot tall weeds. high. The menu is quite restrained, there isnt much, but the choices are refined. Personally, I had chicken and the pieces were cut so large that I never managed to cook the chicken well in less than 30 minutes. Where its worst is the prices. The meals are clearly not worth the quantity or even quality of the food on the plate. Impossible to leave this restaurant for less than $120 per couple for a minimum of common sense to no longer be hungry. The thing that impressed me was the side dishes. Its the best salad dressing Ive had and the potatoes are also excellent. Personally, first time I went there and certainly the last.

Super good restaurant with a superb terrace. The broccoli is cut, the potatoes are hot and the broth is bubbling enough not to slow down the cooking. I suggest it to everybody. P.S: In the evening, the view from the terrace can be scary (supporting photo)

Very appetizing menu, I recommend the Norman cheese fondue starter - the twist of flambéed Calvados makes all the difference. The ambiance and staff do a great job of making us feel at home, while providing us with unparalleled service. This is a fondu restaurant. My experience has been that you always share when eating fondu. When we said ,of course we are sharing, we were told that it would be an additional $17, which included a 2nd plate of vegetables. No where on the menu was that written. There was listings to buy additional portions of protein but you HAD to buy 2nd plate,if sharing. We wanted the table dhote but that meant only one appetizer and one coffee and dessert, if ordering only one fondu dish! . Which was all we wanted. We ordered the salmon and fennel salad as an appetizer ( an additional $3 as it was not part of the appetizer with the table dhote} . The salad came but no additional plate for us to share it. It was delicious , but it should have been listed as fennel and salmon, as you almost needed a magnifier to find the tiny bits of salmon! Meantime, our 3 friends with us, got their meat fondu before their cheese fondue, which they wanted to have as their appetizer while we had our salad. So, in the end, by the time they got it, we were finishing our meat fondu ( which we got the wrong meat mix at the first delivery and had to have it switched). All this, and on top of which, it was so noisy that we couldnt have a conversation and the poor waiter had to repeat things several times, as he tried to explain how the menu worked! Our friends ended up canceling their meat fondu, as they were discouraged by the whole experience and also didnt want us to wait ,as they hadnt received their meat fondu!

The good was delicious. I recommend the touch a tout. Although when I woke up the next morning, I ended up troughing up that meal. I had food poisoning. I was not fun. Eat at your own risk.

We were very disappointed by the accompaniments of the Chinese fondue. The broccoli arrived in one piece as if the kitchen hadnt bothered to cut it into small pieces. The plates arrived much too early (the potatoes were cold when it was time to eat). The burner used ensures that the broth does not boil. Which gives the impression that the meat is not cooking properly. Despite everything, its cooked but after too long a time between each bite. The waitress was really nice and welcoming.

The place is beautiful with a pleasant atmosphere... The side dishes of salad and potatoes were good. The Chinese fondue, however... Cubes of very regular meat in a broth that tastes like water for $30... Not impressive at all, lets face it. I could have bought a better fondue at the grocery store with $10.

Bel endroit, le service est bon. Oui en effet le brocoli vient en un morceau. Donc il faut le couper nous mêmes avec un couteau pas très approprié. Et que dire de léclairage, trop tamisée à mon goût on ne voit pas si notre viande est cuite. Et comme les plafonds sont haut donc cest très bruyant. Ce fût une belle expérience malgré tout.

Nice portions. A little noisy. Impeccable service. The peppercorns in the Cheese Fondue as a meal are way too big. The plate of vegetables served with fondues is suitable for Chinese fondues but not necessarily for cheese fondues, as some vegetables require cooking.

It was a first for me, I had a very good and delicious dinner with my friend Brigitte and Judith for my birthday

Super endroit, personnel accueillant, excellente fondue, on aime y retourner. Seul point négatif, vestiaire obligatoire dans le corridor très accessible à tous qui nassure aucune surveillance .......Une personne était partie avec mon manteau fort heureusement on a pu le retracer mais il faudrait sans aucun doute revoir lemplacement.
