Doors locked, super slow service. They didn't get my toppings correct. They also gave my poutine with zero gravy. it was just fries and cheese.

I hadn't been to A&W in ages. The burgers were awesome, the fries were great and i really liked the seasoned salt. The best part though was the frosty mug of root beer.
A very nice restaurant. The staff here care very much about the satisfaction of the customer (unlike Burger King next door) the staff are very helpful and throw in there own thoughts and experiences with that food or drink you are ordering. Best service I have had in months
I gave this place a 5 based on: Staff was pretty cool (5). Place was very clean (5). Veggie burgers was awesome (5). The cashier asked if I preferred no cheese in case I'm vegan (5). Price was not bad (4).
Calm and isolated place, not too many customers. Price range is just a tad higher than McDonald's, but the food is just way better. The classic Root Beer 🍻 is available in the large glass mugs. Food just has a fresher ate to it.
Once in a while I give in to a craving for some fast food and the only choice that doesn't make me hate myself is A&W. The one on Sherbrooke St. in Westmount is in my neighbourhood and I've been there a few times. The food has always been fresh and well prepared whenever I've eaten there. The interior is very clean and the staff are super friendly, efficient, and courteous. I know it's 'fast food' but in terms of quality and service, I feel it's the best choice for this type of cuisine compared to its competitors and doesn't feel/taste like inferior 'fast food'.
Overall it was good. On the other hand, a little slow and the bread didnt seem cooked until it was barely reheated.

Fast service inside, outside busy hours, very good chicken strips, root beer in BOCK, just like in the old days!!! Habaneros chicken and mozzarburger Burger, spicy for the chicken but succulent.... sweet potato option!!! only downside, I found the month of August 2024, a bread clip under my burger, eurk !!! Never seen an A&W like this, bad service, extremely slow, wrong order, cold dish, eggshell, very dirty restaurant, atrocious experience, I will never set foot here again. Shut it!!!!

The employees arent even able to get us paid if we use an a&w gift card. I walk around Quebec a lot and this is the first time this has happened to me and I was immediately refused.

We waited 15 minutes at the drive-thru on a weekday. We had to change restaurants
Super autonomous/resourceful A1 department head. For the rest of the team a big 0, it doesnt provide anything and its empty. It took us 30 minutes to get our meal plus there were several forgotten items. Chief looks overwhelmed and goes to the cash register and back tries to make sure everything is okay. Take deep breaths. No napkin available and I am told I dont have time while he is escaping on the contoire. Ive never seen that! Table very dirty and not picked up.
Im really disappointed with the service we have here... its not normal that it takes 30 minutes to be served by each customer by car. In addition, we show a discount coupon with an image on it which indicates what we bought, for example two mozzarella with Poutine plus coke for $19.99 and we are also asked what we ordered at the window lol and he gives us the wrong order! The ordering service must change as quickly as possible because before it was 5 to 10 minutes and I dont understand a cashier plus three cooks in addition for 30 minutes of waiting for each customer ouffff not very good! The service was very slow, customer service was seriously lacking, they mad a mistake on my order and there was a hair in my friends burger.
A very good place to come and eat Burger with friends, plus the breakfasts are friendly and relaxed. The burgers are of good quality and the promotion at Le Royale at the moment is really good, in short its a good place to come and eat.

Dining room closed at 11:40 a.m. on a Friday? No poutine sauce? ???? Never seen this in an AetW in Sherbrooke. There, we ordered at the drive-thru and we have been waiting for 20 minutes; only one car in front of us and the dining room is closed..... So why is it taking so long? After 30 minutes the driver behind us gets out of his car: as angry as we are and the cook comes to the window to tell us that he is the only cook (who actually was talking on the phone outside when we ordered....) to say that we could still have another 10 minutes! Seriously, we had already been waiting for 30 minutes... even the car in front of us was not served, when we got our money back. But what a waste of time!! Does it take 30 minutes to cook 3 meatballs? 30 min to leave a batch of fries? Seriously If things are this bad according to the cook, where is the manager? The owner?
We have been several times in the past and everything was very good. Saturday May 27, 2023, we were very disappointed. Around 11:50 a.m. at dinner, the place was not clean. Room tables and benches, lots of room cabarets crockery stacked in the right place for the return of the cabarets. Bathroom not clean. The fries were cold and the Burgers lukewarm. Plus, there werent many customers. They were not overwhelmed. I hope this situation is corrected. It doesnt look like A&W standards.

Very very very bad service Order at the drive-thru restaurant closed for 1 fries and 1 mustard hamburger only but extra mustard and a mom burger relish, ketchup, cheese...the young lady didnt understand our French and she asked us to repeat it 3 times.. .arriving at the house nearby the fries were lukewarm and there were 2 burgers with relish, ketchup, cheese...just as lukewarm... No mustard burger only!!! I eat at A.W. in the late 1960s and NEVER have I had service like this especially since mustard only is so simple.

I bought a Papa Burger to take away. It says it comes with lettuce, tomatoes, pickle. Lettuce and tomatoes totally absent and I found a small slice of pickle. I have to admit there were onion rings. The price: $9.42 Its the A&W exit 115 in Magog!

Listed open, and is not, right in the middle of dinner time on a Thursday. Same thing last week, on a Tuesday. the app takes payment and does not notify that the store is closed. Im going to make a change on the schedule as permanently closed, so that they at least revise the schedule. we have no time to waste when we have 30 minutes for dinner.
The labor shortage is a problem, as long as you have opening hours like that, close it.
This is the worst fast food we have ever eaten. When reading our story, you must keep in mind that we are a family of 7 and that the amount of the bill is almost $120 and that it was a drive-thru order. - The lettuce in half of our burgers was wilted (really disgusting) - Our Teenburgers did not have the Teenburger sauce in them - Our onion rings were so salty we had to throw it away - burgers were missing from our drive-thru order - The burgers had not been identified and as our teenburgers did not contain the right sauce AND big surprise, our teenburgers and our uncle burgers had meatballs of the same size, impossible to identify which was which. - The food was lukewarm at best... Except for the missing burgers which I had to go back to get which were hot After making an official complaint, the manager called us to offer us a meager $20 gift card to compensate for this terrible meal. $20, or one dollar per minute of driving to get the card. Out of apologies for us.. Worse, the manager told me that his understanding of the situation is that we had all our food and that, at the end of the day, we had eaten. So I conclude that he is comfortable with our horrible experience and that for him, the quality of food and service we had is the best he could offer us. If youre hungry, there are several good choices in the area. But if you really want A&W,. So go to the one in Saint-Élie... Its really good, nothing like the one in Magog

Honestly, management should give a raise to the young man who served us today. The employee was alone on a Saturday to take orders, provide service and checkout. Obviously it took a long time but once served, there was no mistake in our order! If we compare the competition who have 10-15 employees behind the counter and make mistakes on ordering an item, this employee deserves a medal! Hoping that management will do what is necessary to provide better service to customers. But you, my guy, deserve a solid raise!
