Another nice stay here :-) it has become our establishment of choice when we come to Magog; no fuss, inexpensive, excellent service, why pay more to not necessarily get more? THANKS.

Very warm welcome, the staff is very polite, courteous and professional. Very nice rooms, spacious, very comfortable, mini fridge, coffee machine, television. The room service is impeccable, very clean, tidy, super clean sparkling bathroom, towels and dryer, shower. Excellence I recommend this place without any hesitation, easy parking at the back, entrance designed for people in wheelchairs or reduced mobility for the front entrance door. I had a pleasant stay, yes I am going there return, you will be welcomed with a smile at the reception, there is an elevator, there are 4 floors. Thank you to all the staff in place during my stay, I am very grateful to you. Congratulations to the manager and thank you to your staff. Very correct hostel, except that the rooms are not soundproofed. The first evening, I was woken up several times by the people in the room upstairs. .Practical and close to everything and very beautiful paintings everywhere in a local artists inn

For the luxury room that I took... I dont know what else it had other than a view of the parking lot I cant imagine the regular rooms But otherwise, it was GOOD. No worse soundproofing and ultra comfortable beds

The hostel refused to allow my 80 year old parents to warm their room. It was 15 degrees Celsius! Unacceptable

Breakfast is a small box with yogurt, apple and a muffin. Seriously Walkability: Great location, just next to the lake Food and drinks: Breakfast is included with the room but its a tiny box with barley some food inside

so its a hotel with its usual comfort but without any more pretension the service is correct the cleanliness is good the potential is not optimized but hey its not me who would change that perfect location for walking and doing some visits to the area yes we can go there to sleep there!!

Phew the air conditioning worked until supper time after that it was very hot the window didnt open so as a result I didnt sleep... At midnight I asked to change rooms she told me that the hotel is full nothing to do there are 4 of us she offers us a room in another building but only a bed for 4 oufff

Very close to everything, clean the only problem luxury room view of the mountain (mcdo) very soft and lumpy bed for $199 we left this morning without staying for the other night. We told the receptionist answer (this is the first time I hear that) without more...disappointing

The location is ideal. First romantic getaway in 8 months since the birth of our little boy. I came home at the end of the evening covered in red wine because a stranger spilled a whole glass of wine on me. T-shirt, cotton wool and white shoes stained with red wine. The lady at reception offered to wash my clothes. The next morning I found my clothes in a bag at the foot of my door. No more stains! Best service ever received in a hotel.

For me it is a very beautiful place. An elevator. Very clean.

Ideal location. The city center is absolutely beautiful. We travel on foot to participate in events. So you can have fun without having to think about getting the car back to its destination. Plus, the park is wonderful!

I give it 3 and a half stars. Our room was very clean. Impeccable bathroom. I found the place very simple, too simple. The paintings in the rooms are pretty but the prices next to them are a little too much. Theres already advertising everywhere in town so having more in my room wasnt great. Then the view of the McDonalds is a shame the city accepted such a banner in front of a strategic point but it does not help the surrounding merchants and it takes away from the beauty of the corner. The roof seemed fine but it was raining and it was very messy.

I stayed at this hostel on the night of August 18-19, 2022. Heres what youll get for one night at $250...: - Half renovated room, very small, bathroom dated and very small. - Uncomfortable mattress. If youre taller than 510, your feet will tower over you at the foot of the bed. - Theres no point paying extra for a room with a lake view. The only view you will have is of the McDonalds across the street. - Outdated and dangerous roof terrace. I didnt dare venture there for fear of falling through the rotten boards. - Carpets in common areas old and dilapidated, bordering on unsanitary. - Extremely noisy ventilation system. Insulation non-existent, we can hear the occupants of the room upstairs and in the corridors very well. Impossible to sleep without traffic jams I understand that its high season and that its directly located in Magog, but $250 to sleep one night at this hotel is a laugh! I will never go back there and I strongly advise against it.

The Auberge is just awesome. This quaint inn is on the lake on one side and on a canal on the other. It is tucked neatly in a beautiful village called Magog. Great shopping,great food,great beverages,vineyards close by, mountains on the outskirts of town...what can you say...its gorgeous. The people are delightful, more than willing to communicate in English or French, but oh so appreciative if you make the effort to speak French. Our hosts were lovely and helpful, the rooms were clean though next time Id definitely ask for a room facing the harbour. Youve got to explore the beautiful countryside...again, the people are fantastic. Catch the colours while you can.

Magnificent inn. Large room and very comfortable beds. The staff is very welcoming. There is a nice roof terrace. Its a few steps from the city center where there are plenty of restaurants. Crossing the street, we arrive at the park on the shore of Lake Memphremagog. Magnificent passage.

Very clean good restaurant very quiet

Disappointing For an exorbitant price Roof terrace closed at 11 p.m. We were a group of 14 and we had to meet up in the parking lot to relax in peace. Not easy. Very Disappointing for $220!

Mediocre luxury room, small TV that crushes people, the air conditioning makes noise, I can hear the occupants upstairs going to the toilet and the mattress is very soft, even too soft. Very disappointed for this price and its name.

There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, as well as a faulty shower. The Mcdonald s across the street was the best part.

Found this auberge thanks to Tuango, all day ski lift tickets at Mont Orford were included with our stay (also, it was less than 10min drive to go ski!). Staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. We had a great stay and would definitely come back :D

Clean and well maintained. The hotel is located very close to the main street so great for walking and visiting the city. It is also near a magnificent large park with boats, a beach, play areas for children. Quite quiet place and a good hotel option if you want to visit Magog. In front there is a McDonalds if you ever want to have lunch there.

Great location and friendly staff. Rooms are not quiet and old looking. I was lucky enough to be located near the stairs where until 1:59am I could here people walking. TV if you need it because of the not so soundproof rooms then you might want to be sure your TV remote works because ours did not... Beds and pillows are really soft and I haven t been in a hotel or motel with double beds since I have been a kid. Being 6 foot it s definately not ideal. Would only recommend it for its central location. Otherwise it was hard to find space to park my car and not very updated.

We arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night and when we checked in we were told that breakfast was available from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and that it was included in the room price. The next morning we were told at 10:00 a.m. that breakfast was only available until 9:30 a.m. The lady kindly served us anyway and the breakfast was also very tasty. Then came the next surprise, as breakfast wasnt included and we had to pay another $16. When we asked for a room for the next night, the lady gave us a price, which we accepted. Due to a room change we had to check in again. When checking in, it turned out that it was only the net price without tax etc., which made the room almost $30 more expensive... So its better to ask three times about the price and included services! <br/>The rooms in the hotels are very well maintained, clean and the beds are very comfortable. There is also a roof terrace where you can sit wonderfully. The park is right around the corner and everything is within walking distance.

The breakfast isnt included and i woke up with bites of bugs in my arms. The staff apologized and gave us breakfast for free. Will be better if they put something to drink in the small frigde inside the room (doesnt matter if we have to pay after).

We spent the last night in this house, the first thing we were promised was a room with a lake view, we overlooked the parking lot. After a lovely meal in town we returned to the room. The sewage disposal system from the room above came through our room like a waterfall. We complained at reception; It was only after repeated requests that we were given the parking lot room again. The employee at the reception was overwhelmed, incompetent and unfriendly.

Beautiful place

At the price we pay it is insufficient. The pillows are very thin and you have to put several for comfort. Not to mention the carpet which is disgusting. The only good point is that it is very well located next to the main street. We pay more for the view of the lake and its a view of a McDonalds. For a room that costs us $200. Its a steal.

Clean hostel, shows priceless lunch and when you take it, it charges you. Continental style lunch that you prepare yourself. In short, for sleeping its OK but you shouldnt expect more

I found the room to be comfortable, clean. The staff is great, very accommodating (I showed up early and my room was prioritized, I didn t ask!) I didn t try the restaurant. The location is perfect, short walk from the main drag. My only issue, spotty wifi.. very spotty wifi. Can t really watch anything more than 2 minutes at a time or less. Still Very good for the cost. Thank you!
