Nous sommes ravis de vous accueillir à nouveau dans notre établissement fraîchement rebâti. Venez décrocher de votre quotidien et vivre un micro voyage au Mexique ! Au plaisir de vous voir et déguster une margarita.
Very nice place, friendly personnel and excellent service. We had filet mignon for two, but it could easily feed 3 adults. Served in cast-iron bowls that kept it hot for a long time. Moderate prices, excellent mojito.
The food was decent, so was the service. Good but nothing special. Be careful if you go eat outside on the terrace because it smells like garbage (literally). We asked to switch table thinking there were garbage disposals under us because the smell was disgusting, but it was even worse on the other side. I know it’s not their fault but you still have to keep that in mind. Ask to eat inside.
Fun place. Food is delicious. Excellent service.
Walked in, no greeter so walked to a table, was yelled at to wait by the door. Seated in dark hallway, ordered chicken fajitas for two. Watched kitchen staff retrieving a large bag of pre cooked pre sliced chicken from the back and go into the "kitchen". The cast iron serving platter was not hot, the peppers an onions raw nothing had any color from actual cooking save the chicken, that had the same "grill marks" as when it was in the pre packed bag. Only sides where white rice, black beans and premade guac, no salsa at all, and no lettuce, no tomatoes. The "restaurant" seemingly cooked nothing, just plated Sysco produced product. Rather unimpressive and far overpriced for what it is. Cook fresh food or close.
Second visit here, the food is still good but the service has dropped considerably. TLDR: food is good when prepared properly, service quality is poor being ignored nearly the entire time and receiving food nearly an hour after ordering while others ordered and ate despite arriving after us. Don’t recommend for the service but food is good and the terrace is nice. Restaurant was at maybe half capacity when we arrived and were seated for 30mins before being asked for our order, an entree of taquitos dorados came after 15mins with 2/3 rolls full of nothing but plain mashed potatoes and the last stuffed with only chicken. Waited another 35mins for our main course of nachos and tacos, the carnitas tacos were great, gf’s nachos were okay. Waitress was more occupied with visiting the table her friends were at then checking in on us, only came twice during our dinner, once to pick up the entree plate that had been empty for 15mins on the edge of the table and to ask if we wanted more drinks, then again when we had literally just received our main course not even having taken a bite to ask if everything was to taste. The tables with her friends and another with a family of 4 both arriving after we had already ordered and been waiting over 10mins, received and finished their meals before we received a thing. The waitress didn’t check in to explain or apologize for the delays in the kitchen although she had the time to chit chat with her friends and other staff the vast majority of our stay. Willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the kitchen for the slow speed but the service and communication from the wait staff leaves much to desire.
We really enjoyed Guacamole y Tequila. We went there to take out dinner because our pet was with us enjoying a family vacation. One of the waitresses suggested we dine in with our pet. There is a beautiful open space at the back. We did so. I ordered enchiladas with salsa roja and my wife with salsa verde. This was the first time I ever tried enchiladas so can't compare to any others. But I liked them very much. I also tried the ones with salsa Verde and they were delicious too. The restaurant ambient and atmosphere were great. The staff deserve all the credit for a great dinner we had. Thank you all for being so cool.
The location is pretty, they have a nice terrace but it was too cold to eat or drink anything out there. The Jackfruit Nachos was interesting for those who want a vegetarian substitute for Ground beef. Not the same texture or taste, but that's what I think they were aiming for. The Shrimp wrapped in sausage was absolutely awesome. It was delicious and was fantastic. Price is a little high, but it's Magog, so you have to expect it. Still had a good time. Reserve or come early, this place get's packed.
Food and drinks were good, not too bad. We ordered a calamari to share as well and it was tasty. Rating this 3 stars though because the service was not as friendly as other places we patroned before. I don't know was it because we were out of towners but the moment my friends and I walked in, almost everyone stared at us and the wait staff did not attend to us. I had to walk up to them and ask them for a table. We still had a good time but the staring was really rude.
Its so good and everything we choose, we dont leave a single crumb. Well done to the chef! One problem, no longer operating the ice crusher at the bar, too noisy for the customers seated at the front
Excellent service and delicious food. Recommended
Its good but its lowkey overpriced and it often tastes like cigarettes (Im not the only one who finds this taste in the dishes) good service
Very good, the melted cheese with chorizo and the al pastor tacos
Very nice place with magnificent outdoor terrace. Impressive Margaritas bowl and very good!
Delicious!
The place is super nice. 100% typical Mexican music and simply delicious dishes. We ordered enchiladas en salsa roja, tacos al pastor, shrimp fajitas and cochinita something. I recommend 100%. Ah! The service also impeccable :) if I had more money I would have tipped 50% :)
A must-see in the city center
We loved our family dinner. The food is excellent and the taste is the same as the dishes from the Sherbrooke restaurant. I recommend.
Adios!
Excellent restaurant , affordable price, incredibly exquisite traditional cuisine Vegetarian options: There are plenty of choices for vegetarians Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of choices for those with gluten intolerance
The terrace of this restaurant is a well-kept secret! Don t hesitate to enter. As soon as you set foot there, you immediately feel like youre on vacation.
Good cooking, you feel like youre traveling!
Long service. The portions are not generous. The food is okay, nothing more. Cocktails are served in an original way.
Mexico in Magog, terrace and palm tree included! Congratulations to the kitchen and service teams. The smiles were on the faces and on the plates, tastes and flavors included. Bravo and thank you for this beautiful taste moment.
Drink 10/10, food 10/10, decor 10/10, employees 10/10
Will snatch for 2: generous and delicious. Refreshing orchata water. Real homemade tortillas: perfect. Authentic food and decor, good service. Terrace on the river. Thanks to our friend for suggesting this must-see restaurant in Magog! My partner and I are delighted, we will return!
The so-called chicken is not chicken but a reconstitution made from chicken (I dare to imagine that there is some) with flour, cereals, flavor enhancers, thickeners, glutamate and I cant get enough of it. list must be long. The least polite thing would be to announce it honestly!
No welcome when we arrived. The service members barely looked up as we looked for our table, and the restaurant was virtually empty. On the terrace, maraschino cherries were sleeping on the outdoor bar, attracting a hundred wasps, all the employees commented on the situation but nothing was done, really annoying for the customers of such a beautiful place on the terrace. The food was bland, the menu is not elaborate, fortunately the drinks are good. It looked like the place hadnt seen the manager for a long time, so much had to be done.
Great cozy restaurant. Our waiter was super friendly, knew the menu like he created it, recommended great options for our preferences and I really liked the Mixiote Carnero. Appreciated my visit.
Excellent Mexican restaurant. The guacamole is disgusting! The Al Pastor pork is just wow. Everything is fresh and it shows! I recommend
Warm and colorful atmosphere with festive but subtle music. We took advantage of the air conditioning while sitting at a table on the street, but the back terrace was very tempting! We had a Paloma and lemonade with mango guacomole, a taco bowl and tofu el pastor tacos. Everything is made fresh, homemade and the seasonings are perfect. The tofu was simply seasoned cubes, but I appreciated the effort to give myself a vegetarian choice of this usually pork dish. The rest was sublime. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian and vegan choices. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free choices
Excellent!! Really a great experience, it tastes like real Mexico
Food is ok. However, when we wait more than 1 hour 20 minutes for our plates and 2 tables who came after us receive their plates before us, that suggests that there is a problem with the waiters/waitresses or with the cooks. When asked why our food is taking so long, one says they forgot to put our order in while the other says its just the usual delay. I doubt thats the usual time frame, but if it is, its not at all reasonable. I would understand if there were lots of customers, but that wasnt the case. So, needless to say, the service this evening was rather disappointing. However, there is a lot of potential and I wish them to exceed this potential in order to have even more success.
Worst service ever seen in restaurants.
We had nachos and margaritas. Very good and the terrace is wonderful.
I very rarely go out and this time I decided to treat myself a little, and I have to comment on the excellent service I received. It was the waitress Marianne who welcomed me and accompanied me throughout the evening; she was able to listen to my concerns about the menu and answer my questions. I really appreciated his sense of humor and especially his promptness in asking me if everything was going well. I highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Magog in summer, she was able to suggest several places to me as well. Wow again!
Good morning! Christine and I received exceptional quality service and attention from Laurence beyond our expectations! Never seen before! Thank you Laurence and see you soon! Christine and Luc!
Beef and vegetable tostadas! Super good and the atmosphere is warm. The waitresses are very nice and I will definitely go back!
It tastes identical to Mexico.
We went to eat there during the eclipse and we were literally the first ones to come in to eat. We were sat outside which is not a big deal until they made us wait for about an hour or more before taking our order. A table of 6 came in AFTER us and literally were served faster than us, got their order taken first and had time to finish eating before our order was even taken. The food was ok, we had fried calamari which was ok, the nachos were ok too, but the fajitas were really bad. On top of that, we had a big Pina colada that was able to serve 6 not full glasses and it costed like 78$+tx which was really not worth it. Overall, ok to bad food with horrible service. I understand the day of the eclipse was busy but you gotta know the orders of which table came in first. Really dissatisfied.
The Queso Fundido is a must as a starter! The two of us shared 3 starters and a taco dish. Special mention for the Sopes! Great discovery!
Super beautiful and good restaurant a big WOW
Super excellent coconut shrimp
Great atmosphere and good service! The chicken fajitas were made with imitation chicken. We charge 50 cents per extra tortilla when our bill comes to $180... Difficult to recommend.
Dirty glasses and utensils tied with blood stain paper. Lack of things on our plates. Not clean and broken dishes.
We were seven people, the food was excellent,,,,the only downside. the music was made too loud and hearing sung in Spanish becomes exasperating thank you
The servers there were very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was nice. The food was terrible. Nachos with so little cheese you couldn t tell it was there. Entrees were cold. Rice was soggy. And the bill outrageous. They did make a nice pina colada though. Would not recommend!
The service and food is always amazing.
A long-time customer and faithful apostle who comes to taste Maxicain at Guacamole and Tequila every week, I would like to highlight the excellent service we have at each of our visits as well as the excellent cuisine. In fact, this evening (Wednesday) we were at the Magog restaurant and were served by Alex. Although she was alone to serve nearly 30 customers, we were EXTREMELY well served with a smile, dynamism and professionalism. She is truly amazing!!! Congratulations to everyone and don t give up, we love you!!
I ordered $130 worth of food on DoorDash and the order was cancelled after it was an hour and a half late because the driver was unable to get to my home. I couldn t even communicate with the driver in either English or French. Your phone line at the restaurant went straight to voicemail when I tried to call, and the voicemail box was full so I couldn t even leave a message.
Visited on a Thursday evening, the service was pleasant and rather quick, the meal is another story. The soup was room temperature, not bad at all but by no means hot. I then opted for the fish tacos but I had a lot of trouble finding the said fish... A mini bite per taco, were talking about a piece of about an inch (2.5cm) long per 1 /2 inch (1.3 cm) high and wide. The most garnished had maybe an inch and a half piece. For the asking price its completely ridiculous, I wont be taken there a second time!
Very delicious food makes you remember a little of my beautiful and beloved Mexico, good service, very friendly and super attentive
Good food but terrible service! 1h30 wait for our meals and they did not follow the instructions we asked for!
Surprising, a good Mexican in Magog! I was skeptical. The mole was particularly good. Go for it without hesitation. Enjoy your food.
Very nice discovery. The food is excellent, I liked the service too.
Very good and efficient
Amazing! The service was under control, the food was festive, and what can we say about the cocktails! I give it a score of 10/10, I recommend the spaghetti and the hot pepper pizza, yum
Im from San Diego and I love the food and drinks here! Its like San Diego restaurants...almost. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxing, casual. I want to try the gallery outside with a view of the river next.
Great on all aspects, great food, great price, great atmosphere.
Great atmosphere and food. Thank you for your service Valérie, you were great
Very noisy, very dark, we were put in a corner, we had difficulty reading the menu, there was a lack of lighting. We were not comfortable, the table was too high for this type of chair. Table for 2 very small, 24 x 24 too small to accommodate all the dishes. The faitas, not bad, but no more, it took away our hunger, but did not leave us with the satisfaction that we experience after a good meal. Three tortillas per person is not enough, youd better omit the bowl of tasteless rice, and add tortillas. No salsa or sour cream in the sides. The dish was bland, it lacked authenticity. And for those like me who love a Mexican salad served in a fried tortilla, which serves as a container, their Mexican bowl is served in a regular bowl, there is no tortilla. In summary, a very disappointing evening
The food was very delicious with fresh ingredients, the guacamole I ordered the mixiote, it was like being in Mexico, very delicious which is not common to find a very nice place and service, good experience
Only one mezcal available and a list of tequila from major brands without discovery (Jimador, Patron, etc.). The fried squid was really overcooked and terribly lacking in salt. The margaritas are frozen even though the menu does not mention it. We were expecting a classic margarita on ice. The other dishes are OK, nothing more. General lack of acidity in dishes (lime juice). The guacamole is good (we hope so when the name of the restaurant is Guacamole y Tequila). Slow service (cocktails arrived over 15 minutes, 10-20 minutes of waiting before receiving menus and water)
Very nice resto with great terrace at the back. Service was fine although I was ready for another beer, but had finished my meal before anyone came around to ask if we wanted more drinks. The food is where they loose points for us: guacamole was great but very few chips (and they were hard). The fajitas were good but came with a lot of cheese all over the meat, we kept pulling more off the plate and set to the side. Margarita was very blah , no character to it, not even a lime slice, and very sweet. The Bloody Caesar was good but not even a celery stick, nothing. The starter taquitos were good. All in all, wouldn t be our first choice next time we re back in Magog. Mediocre. Zero flair. Which is a shame because the place is nicely decorated and pleasant to sit in.
Very good service, nice atmosphere, good choice of Mexican food.
Great patio at the back. Impeccable and courteous service. Guacamole is delicious with a small glass of white wine on the terrace.
There was something special this evening: all the staff helped each other, despite the restaurant being at full capacity, I felt everyone was dedicated. We were served by a tight-knit team and it was so pleasant, efficient and good. A big WOW to you, the staff of Guacamole y Tequila, you made the difference this evening, we had a very pleasant time. Cheers!
I really like going to guacamole and tequila. I had the Mexican salad but it is now served with balsamic vinaigrette even though it says chipolte on the menu. I had to pay extra for a chipolte sauce, I found it a bit ordinary.
GOOD
What can I say otherwise: a wonderful discovery! The cuisine is delicious. Dishes with very adequate portions that explode with flavors! The place was rather busy which led to conversations in a higher tone than usual but that didnt stop us from enjoying our experience! The decor is also very beautiful and the colors combine well for an atmosphere calling for discovery. The service is also very warm. Our questions are answered with joy and the welcome makes us feel welcome! Honestly, a great find!
Very nice terrace at the back. If the trees were trimmed the view would be magnificent (on the river) impeccable service very friendly employees. The menu is very diverse there is a lot of choice. The drinks are really very good! Musical choice which fit very well with the restaurant, it puts us in the mood. The only negative point is perhaps the size of the tables. They are a little small. In short, Im going to go back there for sure.
Wow, my discovery of the weekend, everything is perfect and the flavors are exquisite and the prices are very affordable, the service is second to none, I will surely return before the end of the summer
I was disappointed to be served chicken strips that were already cooked in advance, lets say I was paying for fresh, not pre-cooked.
Underwhelming to say the least
Very good food, incredible drinks and really great staff!! We were seated at the bar and we had a lot of fun being served new drinks by the bartenders and we ate well, I recommend it to everyone!
Service was slow, I expected more from their ceviche, it was blend. The main plat was ok, nothing that would make me come back. They need to change their broken glasses and pots. Serving a drink in a broken glass and giving humid napkins is really not a place to go back. Vegetarian options: You pay more for them
Amazing short experience in Magog. Excellent food, cochinita pibil with jackfruit, full house but 2 waitresses handled it just easily. Thank you, will come back.
Go to Sherbrooke instead. Worst service of my life. Booked for 7:30 a.m. on the terrace, upon arrival we have to set up our own table inside. Between the starter and the main meal we waited 1 hour. It was soft and tasted like we forgot on the stove . My sister ordered not spicy and received the spices from hell with the only excuse from the person serving: Oops! Sorry its my fault! In short, go to Sherbrooke, the food, the cocktails and above all the service are better. Servers who take care of their friends above all... Unfortunately, not the first time disappointed with the horrible service there, 3 years later its worse.
food was .... deceiving from start to end. starters were a good introduction of what would follow. we had flexibowls as main. but for what it tastes like, the small bowl seems totally OVERPRICED we skipped deserts. beer was lukewarm and without any bubbles. but at least we were on the terrace, and managed to get a table without any booking. we waited reasonably
Friends introduced us to this restaurant. I loved the Mexican themed decor and music. On the other hand, a little more lighting would be appreciated. I have to wear glasses to read and even with them I had difficulty. Plus, I like to see what Im eating and... how clean the place is. We ordered a Margarita...giant! A large glass that can be shared by 6 with a ladle! Delicious! We ate the fried squid and shrimp as starters. Very good! The chicken fajitas are also very good. There were enough vegetables and tortillas. I would have taken more sauces but there was a surplus, not taken. My son had the table dhôte style meal with the pulled pork. It had dip and nachos for starter and tortilla soup. Very good, according to him. On the other hand, having tasted it too, his pork was not sweet. It lacked flavor. It came with white rice and salad. We loved our experience. It felt like we were in Mexico for a moment at dinner. Well done...but light please!!!
One of the beautiful terraces of Magog
Beautiful place, plus a terrace overlooking the water., A+ service, good drink, we had two excellent starters, a little detour is really worth it. Kind regards, Sylvie
Unforgettable taste experience
Nice terrace, good service, nice food but lack of flavors in general
Very stupid waitress and it took her 20 minutes just to come see us for the first time. We stayed for an hour and a half and we just had our starters while people who arrived after us already had their main meals. We left with just our starters in our bellies and had to get up to ask for the bill again because she still hadnt brought it to us after 15 minutes. We werent the only ones to have had this experience as the tables next to us also left because it was too long. The food is ordinary at most. We ended up paying a bill of $57 for 2 drinks and two starters and 1.5 hours of wasted time. In addition, a table next to us told the waitress that they were hungry and that it was taking a long time and she replied Cant you see there are a lot of people here? while they only had the terrace occupied. Big lack of respect and politeness.
Guacamole y tequila more like barely any taste Guacamole and no tequila. This place is very good.....at wasting your time. After getting sat down, we waited for a whole 30 minutes before anyone came and asked if we wanted anything to drink, TO DRINKK ,not even to eat.... Anyway, after ordering, guess what, we had to wait a whole nother 40 minutes for the entrees to get to our table while some people were leaving because they were waiting for too long... shoulda been our queue and sign to leave too. We gave it a chance and waited for our dishes to arrive.. never got them. My girlfriend and I left after 1h30 minutes of waiting and a 60$ bill for mediocre at best food and tastless drinks. Youre welcome to eat there if you have 36 hours in a day For anyone else. STAY AWAYYYY.
Very nice atmosphere, good service and very good portions. Delicious cocktail!!!
I called and left a message asking to call you and no one ever called me back
For a successful evening, head to Tequila Y Guacamole without hesitation! The taste, portions and service were spot on! We had a great time! Start again!
We have been very satisfied in the past but unfortunately our last experience was very disappointing. The menu called for battered cod tacos, I ended up with Highliner fishcakes. Very disappointing. Unfortunately this is the last time for us.
We arrived at 18:00 on sunday September 24th, 2023 at this restaurant and two employees looked at us and took a while to be acknowledged. Finally seated down, we were given a pitcher of water and no glass. Took 20 min to have at least an employee to come ask what we would drink and another 10 minute (required us to ask) for glasses for the water. At 19:17, we have ordered but yet received any type of food. The food was good. Talking again about the water, no refills on the water at anytime following the initial water pitcher. Service given by these employees is to be revised by management and training should be given on how to great a customer when the employees initially see them. Example: Hi, we will be with you in a moment if the employee cant be with the customer right away. Example 2: When passing and finishing with another customer, the employees should be asking the neighboring table if anything is requires or missing etc. Wonder what takes place in this establishement (any managers or employees roam free for all)? FYI, we had to request water glasses for the water pitcher, we had to ask for utensiles etc. Management needs to revise this operation from top to bottom - urgently !
Excellent !
The meal is good, but it s endless! We had to wait 1 hour between starter and meal, and some of our group had to wait even longer to receive their dish! Disappointing service!
Authentic Mexican food. It melted my heart and senses! Thank you for all the great effort and art that the amazing people do at this restaurant. It was almost like being there. Servings could be a little bigger but I would rather keep the taste and quality over quantity
Ate there last night. Waitress was amazing at explaining menu. Drinks and food was delicious!
BUT WHAT A BAD WELCOME & SERVICE!!! After traveling to reserve a specific table and confirming a second time by telephone, we were confirmed that everything was correct, February 25, stormy evening, we were there at the scheduled time, we were told that the table PLANNED AND RESERVED FOR us is actually for another group.. Yes!! Not strong, correct, we accept another table.. A few minutes later, they come back to tell us that they are sorry, that they are full and that we have to leave by 7 p.m., it is 6:10 p.m.. Quite ordinary, We decided to leave, neither one nor the other of these fantastic hostesses as they passed by them at the exit greeted us or even apologized
Very bad experience and deplorable service. I will never go back there again. We had booked by phone and online and finally we were told once there that there was a mistake and that it was full. No apology from the staff, great lack of professionalism.
Following a reservation in person the day before and online and the next day by telephone to re-validate, (so 3 times) we are informed that the chosen table has been assigned to someone else. Subsequently she asks us to leave and come back in an hour because she realizes that the restaurant is full. NO WE RE SORRY , NO GOOD EVENING ANYWAY AND/OR COME BACK TOMORROW..... Rest assured that EVERYTHING around me will be the story. Finally we left to celebrate my partner elsewhere.
Nice place, cute interior. Sangria was very good as well as fajita
Excellent food and ambiance. Service was fantastic, Sierra provided excellent service. Would definitely recommend.
Ski buddy group of 7. Great finale . Atmosphere was Mexican, staff were informative , attentive. Great food.
Good welcome, super nice waitress, exquisite food.
Excellent service, tasty menu! Were going back there for sure.
I placed an order for takeout and when I arrived there was an error. It may happen, however, that I will be told to mention my things next time when it was done and the error was on their side, rather ordinary!
Very surprised how good was the food and wonderul service.
Pleasant return to one of my favorite restaurants. Very good service, however, too many people = noise! Copious and tasty plates.
It was so bad and the cocktails were unbelievable. I had to ask the waitress if I had ordered a virgin?? They won t get me twice, way too expensive for what it is
Travel to Mexico without flying
Mexican gastronomy at its best!!
The girls are super friendly THANKS
The service was impeccable but the food was average, it reminded me of the old Trois Amigos in Montreal. We went there because it was the only place that agreed to serve us after 9:00 p.m.
Best mixecan food my favorite restaurant but it is expensive
Excellent meal! Everything is typically Mexican, from the food to the decor. The best margaritas in town. Looking forward to discovering the magnificent terrace with a view of the water!
Great food and great staff just love the place
Very good
Always excellent
Always great service. THANKS.
How come this restaurant has 4 stars? It was magnificent! Very good food and impeccable service. I loved it
Excellent typical and authentic Mexican cuisine and other less typical dishes for all tastes, magnificent terrace, delicious margaritas, super courteous staff, the salsas are as good or even better than those of my Mexican mother, magnificent Mexican dishes like at my grandpas. -Mexican mother, in short, a Mexican gem in Magog, this place is a must!
Fast service. Excellent food and beautiful terrace by the water.
Nice place courteous staff nice atmosphere Mexican music
Although the restaurant was very busy, the service was excellent. The server was very knowledgeable and the food was great. Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options although for celiacs some additional restrictions because of cross contamination in frying oil.
Great food ans service, beautiful restaurant and terrace. We truely enjoyed our experience and will go vack when in te area.
Pleasant setting, especially if you are lucky enough to have a place on the terrace. Be careful, arrive early for this because the terrace fills up quickly and it is obviously not possible to reserve a place on the terrace; which we were not told when we booked. Generous portions and tasty, refreshing cocktails. Special mention for the Mexibols and the amaretto colada. On the other hand, -1 star for the service which left a little to be desired even if our waitress tried to correct herself. We were a little disappointed when we arrived to be told that despite our reservation we could not have a place on the terrace because it was full and the places were on a 1st come, 1st served basis. However, our reservation had been made precisely to have a place on the terrace and there were tables available on the terrace. Our group of 5 was then placed in a table between the front room and the terrace. The area was very dark and in the passage. One of us was sitting at the end of the table right next to a plant that was bothering him and it was quite uncomfortable. As we saw that there was space on the terrace, we asked to be placed there. We were then told no because even though we had arrived first and had a reservation, the available tables were for more people and there were only 5 of us. There were 2 tables of 4 people on the terrace and 1 table of 2 There were 5 of us. After politely insisting for 30 minutes at our first table, we were then placed at a table on the terrace. We had another unpleasant experience with service during the evening. Despite this experience, we enjoyed our evening for the setting and the quality of the meal.
Welcoming, festive, Mexican and tropical atmosphere. We had great service and the food is great! I will definitely return.
Unfriendly staff
Very nice place, loved the porch overlooking the river. Very good food and friendly service. Dietary restrictions: Mono-Sodium-Glutamate intolerance - no problem to get food without it at this place Parking: No problem to parc on the street right in front the door.
Great terrace at the back of the main street in Magog, best margaritas in town. Guacamole to die for.
Good Mexican food. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian meals.
August 27, 2022. Exquisite meal, attentive service, good value for money. The staff, obviously insufficient and therefore overwhelmed, remained patient and smiling. I tasted the Mexibol a la Diabla with shrimp, very very good. Why four stars and not five: we were placed very close to the bar, in a very (too) noisy section of the restaurant.
Very good Mexican restaurant! Generous portions and tasty dishes! Best cocktails in Magog! Perfect service.
Wow, great food! Wish we lived closer, wed be regulars. Very friendly waitstaff and efficient service.
Prepare to wait a while. Took us nearly 20 mins just to get water. Wait staff is nice but takes a while for them to make rounds. Portions are fair but not large by any means. Pretty pricey for average Mexican food.
Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service on this beautiful busy Friday evening, the food is delicious and the quality is there. Big wow!
It is a very beautiful restaurant, the food is amazing. Im from Mexico and I ordered some tacos al pastor and seriously the flavor is very similar, I was delighted.
Magnifico. The excellent cuisine, a truly original presentation of each dish, the delicious drinks . Congratulations to the chef!
The exceptional attention,
Our benchmark for 5 stars is Le Cactus, before it was sold, which offered creative and tasty Mexican cuisine. I had the squid as a starter, squid which was not fatty, accompanied by a sauce which, to my taste, lacked a little flavor. My partner had the Queso with chorizo which he really liked. We had as a main course, larrara, a dish full of flavor, beautiful presentation and in large quantity. The tortillas are homemade and so are the hot sauces. Objectively, it is excellent value for money, a pleasant atmosphere, with Mexican music in the background, without being too intrusive, with friendly service. Kid-friendliness: Childrens menu available
Beautiful atmosphere, generous meals and very good drinks, but the plates were lukewarm
Great vegan options! I highly recommend it to vegans looking for a place to eat in Magog.
A choice of tequila, impeccable service!! thank you!
Excellent, food, staff, atmosphere, an address to discover, thank you very much for the evening.
Food and service: Excellent
Everything was excellent!!!
Authentic, pleasant, clean but above all DELICIOUS!!! A good restaurant to stop in the Magog area!
Very good place
A little salty but very good and the dishes seem more authentic than other Mexican restaurants. Great atmosphere
Super service, great food great drinks. Try it out well worth it. Prices makes sense dont forget to ask for their spicy sauces!
I have loved your restaurant for several years but last Friday evening I was really disappointed: lousy service and questionable food! Halfway through the meal I completely lost my appetite. I spoke to our waitress about it. Little reaction! Ill wait before going back (disinterested waitress who greatly contributed to this poor customer experience)
We enjoy ourselves
Food and service are excellent!
Excellent meal and atmosphere
Super the mole is excellent
Super good service, atmosphere and tasty meals!!!
The bowl meals are tasty and very nice atmosphere!!!!!
Excellent food excellent service.
Attention! Double check your bill versus your alcohol orders.
Its not the same food, real Mexican food only in Mexico city. I am Mexican I ask for chicken mole and it was so dry. I ask for a beer on tap, they told me dont have it. And service it was good, my wife ask for enchiladas and it was missing the cheese cream.
Everything was very good with a warm atmosphere and very hard working staff.
Best Mexican food in the Eastern Townships!
Wonderful evening, party atmosphere and delicious dishes Long live Tequila
Great food. A little loud and poor choice of sound system speakers however does contribute to a certain vibe that feels authentic. Again great food and the margarita is on point.
Pleasant restaurant with gluten-free option. Good drinks. The waitress knows the menu well.
We thought we would find our Mexican restaurant that we loved so much before the fire... Total disappointment... Latin music (non-Mexican) much too loud. Very long service, tables arriving after us, we finished eating before we were even served.. Very ordinary food... Much too expensive for the quality.
A very good restaurant with authentic recipes, very good table service!
Delicious and the service is excellent! Enjoy your food.
A trip nearby. !!!!!
Very good food and perfect service.
Just perfect. Tasty, it s crazy!
Excellent meal and very good service
Amazing. They are so kind. The food is amazing. And the tequila choice is second to none.
