Please look at the name of the restaurant. It says Pizzeria, right?. I mean, this was a pizza restaurant. 90% of the things on the menu were things a pizza restaurant should have. But what shouldn't have happened is waiting more than 1.5 hours for the pizza. Everyone knows how long it takes for a pizza to cook. We waited 1.5 hours even for the garlic bread and nachos we ordered to start the meal. And just came only garlic bread. The hot dishes arrived about 40 minutes AFTER the pizza. Of course, it was just hot food in name. The PRE-COOCED chicken was reheated in the microwave or oven and placed in front of us. But they couldn't even do that. Because The chicken was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. And it was like straw. We reminded the waiters many times for these dishes to arrive. When we were going to pay, the cheff, the waiter the administrator and the cashier were waiting behind the counter ready to put on their magnificent show. The chef of the kitchen made a eye signal to the waitres and asked her the dissatisfied customers are these, aren't they? and they started their show. I am asking you, Would you be happy if chickens that were hot on the outside and cold on the inside were brought to you and you waited for more than 2 hours without exaggeration? They started to say that the waiters couldn't keep up, that there were too many customers. They started to find excuses. They said that they were preparing takeaway orders in the back and that our food was just prepared. They wanted us to be understanding for this. Don't think that they wanted this politely. The authorized person who lacked a business spirit and the chef responsible for the terrible food repeated that they would not apologize many times and said it in a spoiled and aggressive manner. They said things like "we have removed the orders you didn't like from the list, pay and go". They told us to be understanding about the waiters not being able to keep up with the food. What does this mean? Food is coming out of the kitchen but the waiters are not able to keep up with the service. They blamed the waiters for late service. The real problem is actually in the KITCHEN. The food that arrived is proof of this. The waiter servers it, whatever the kitchen prepares at that moment. What they mean in their illogical and spoiled speech is that we prepared your food and the waiters took 2 hours to get it to your table... Because they can't keep up... This is completely ridiculous. You stole a total of 3 hours from our lives even you are a pizza Restaurant. To say the pizza This means it's a semi-fastfood, doesn't it? They were so shameless and arrogant as to say "if you want fast food, go to McDonald's". I am reminding you, gentleman who lacks the spirit of a owner or manager. Your restaurant is a pizza restaurant. Stop making fun of people's minds and do your job. Being there for 50 years has already given you this arrogance. You are trying to get ahead by talking to the customers as if you are scolding them. You have already become dude with most of the customers, I am sure they come just for your atmosphere. You dear friends who will stop by passing just like us. DO NOT GO HERE. They do not just take your money, they steal 3 hours of your life and in return you are sent off with terrible food and spoiled attitudes. Why isn't there a rating lower than 1 star on Google...
literally the worst pizza i’ve ever had. Came into town while camping in orford for a late night meal. They used grocery store shredded cheese, you could see each individual shred of cheese even after the cooking process because it never properly melted together. the dough (which was barely cooked) had random pockets of sweet and salt and a third inexplicable flavour caused maybe by the fact that it was frozen could not have been worse. finally, they didn’t even cut it. they handed us a pizza in its barely cooked hastily constructed horror in the box without a single cut in it. we had to rip it apart in the car like animals. the sauce was okay. also got fries, was so upset by how the pizza tasted after a few bites our appetite was ruined. we were starving. truly bewildering how bad a pizza we got. would’ve had better luck foraging in the forest.

Waiter brought the plate of someone else and took it out even if I had started... Space between banquette and table is small and uncomfortable. Submarine bread was stale and not cooked/heated.
The food was great and we got our food fast. Probably because we were the only ones there. We sat on the outdoors patio and there wasn't any bugs. Great spot to eat if you are near Magog.
Pizza cold salty used hotdog for sausage did not taste good. On top of that charged 5$ for Parmesan and chili peppers even though we also ordered ceasers salad. Very cheap of them. Finally 60$ for medium pizza and half a salad ☹️ thanks but no thanks will never order from thus guy again lots of other pizza place around. Hard to make customers easy to loose them!
Okay, the other reviews say the interior is a bit depressing and needs an update. So true. Having said that, we were hungry and had a great, hot, affordable meal here. The caesar salad was fresh, well seasoned, much to their credit. The alfredo came out piping hot and delicious, the portion was on the smaller side but it was plenty for us. The poutine had a red gravy which was delicious. The service was very pleasant and accommodating. A couple that ate before us highly praised their shrimp and rice plate for its flavor and large portions. All in all… give this place a try on a nice day, enjoy the terrace and delicious food.
We were camping in Orford and heard about this place so we had to try it. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean but is due for an update. But, we’re not here fir decor, we ordered pizza and fries! I find that using a spray bottle for the vinegar is a great idea! Food is delicious. If you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

The pizza is super good and I was well and quickly welcomed! For the rest, I went there in the middle of the afternoon; I was the only customer. So I cant say much more about the ambiance and service. That said, there is a beautiful terrace with a view of the rivers behind! Nothing to add, our experience was bad. The negative comments below have been proven to be accurate. I wouldnt recommend anyone to eat there. Its not even a real pizzeria. There must be at least a choice of 12 pizzas and a hundred other dishes... hard to achieve quality in this way. Too bad, the owners need to get their act together. Avoid going there.

With 50 years of service behind them, its time to retire. I have never seen such bad service and such arrogant restaurant employees. It took them an hour and a half to serve us one of our starters, garlic bread which takes 3 minutes to prepare. 10 minutes later our pizza arrives before the second starter, the garnished nachos. We ended up canceling the nachos. Our poutine arrives with fries so limp and sad that you could do better at home by cutting your own potatoes. Being a group of 4, I was the only one who had finished eating when the cold chicken breast dishes arrived. When its time to pay, all the employees were at the cash register like there was a show and the waiter starts complaining that we customers should be patient and the teenage waiters arent responsible for their atrocious service. The owner added to say that he does not apologize since he considers our expectations exaggerated. He adds that if were not happy with the restaurant, that we should go to McDonalds... I dont think he realizes that McDonalds provides better service and that their poutine is easily better for less money. 50 years ago, this restaurant may have passed the bar of what is acceptable. Today, its time to look elsewhere...
Its a cheap restaurant. You have to have expectations in consideration of the price. But its clean and they have a covered and an uncovered patio.

The worst Carbonara I have eaten in my life!!! We found their first name carbonarate!!! Nothing was good. The garlic bread didnt taste like garlic, The spaghetti was okay. If you absolutely want to see the man with the 100,000 pizzas, its not worth it.

I went there on Saturday lunchtimes before the pandemic. It was fun, he had a brunch/buffet at a reasonable price. Since it has returned to normal, they have brought back brunch on the first Sunday of the month at an exorbitant price. As mentioned, I was there on Saturday lunchtime! Every time I went there, they lost a few feathers. But today they have lost all the feathers they had left. Stupid welcome, the one who served us: I ask her what the hamburger plate looks like, she tells me that they dont have any hamburger plates. Yet it is clearly listed on the menu. I finally order the large spaghetti, I receive a small one with very little sauce. Its not even the waitress who comes to bring us our dishes; hes the head chef. I was so disappointed and angry, when she came to ask me if everything was okay, I told her yes. It took a really long time for her to come and collect our empty dishes. I found out later that it was the owner. So for the service and the bad dish I had; I tipped 0, I can guarantee you its going to be a while before I go back.

Healthy meal consisting of a bowl of fresh fruit that was leftover from another customer simply served with fruit instead of throwing it in the trash, no loss . Slice of kraft cheese (for sandwiches) cut in half...and muffins too sweet and doughy but at least edible...they gave us a discount on the dish because I said I was disappointed with plates that I I received... Waste of time because the service was very long and I left hungry

I ordered a 9 Norman pizza and a vegetarian pizza from the chef. A Stella Artois cask beer. It was mediocrity that defies all logic. Hot beer!!! Pizza with a soft crust, a sauce that tastes like crushed tomatoes, rotten vegetables. This is by far the worst pizza I have eaten in my entire life. How can a restaurant of this poor quality still be open? Stay away from restaurants. I hope I wont be sick tonight. Closed as soon as possible.

Rotten service
The lady who welcomes us refuses to give us a table for 8 people despite the fact that the restaurant is empty on the pretext that it is set up for the next day. Then, she charges us extra for mayonnaise for our fries, telling us: if you stuff yourself with mayonnaise, I ll charge you extra. She refuses to make an egg turned in the kitchen, only sunny-side-up eggs are allowed. Decent food. I do not recommend this restaurant or the service.

Im sorry, but we cant be called Pizzeria Orford and serve such terrible pizza! No generous crust around, a bbq tomato sauce, a fatty and oily cheese. No, really not the best place to eat a good pizza in this area! Nevertheless, the staff was kind and accommodating.

My favourite poutine place in all of Québec! Their pizzas are delicious too! I love to get a smoked meat poutine and a small pizza when I come here. Definitely check this place out when you re in Magog! Andrea and Claude run a great restaurant.

Pizzeria Orford is one of the best I have eaten. Me and my gf ordered a medium pizza half pepperoni n cheese and half special Orford. It was so tasty. With a side of 10 cheese sticks. This place a must try if youre visiting Magog.

Unpretentious place, except everything is homemade, nothing frozen, interesting if thats the case because its rare these days. Our order of pizza-spag and pizza-poutine combo was up to par, nothing fishy, very acceptable taste, portions, service and price. The place is a little tired but worth it. Just a shame that the terrace is not on the edge of the river, strange setup, but still very good.
One of the worst pizzas I have eaten. When we arrived, two customers complained that they had not asked for onions I believe, and according to the waiter, the cook made a mistake. My partner ordered a chicken thigh which arrived cold. Another table next to us had the same problem of undercooked and cold chicken. As far as Im concerned, the pizza was lukewarm, the dough was wet and the sauce was poor (spicy and not great). They pride themselves on being a pizzeria. One of the worst restaurants in Magog. The only star is because Alain, the waiter, was up to his task. I strongly recommend this place, you wont get value for your $$, they should close their restaurant which was almost empty unlike the others in the area which were almost all full... People rely too much on the beautiful presentation of the history of the restaurant but its not 1969 anymore...

Worst place to eat a pizza or a Pasta. All commercial The pizza we could not cut or bite it and it was hard and cold. The spaghetti was covered by a canned tomato paste. Food without a taste or flavour. And service was so slow although the place was almost empty.

Weve been there twice now and each time, weve been served very well, the food is good too, and the prices are very reasonable, the place is clean and has a good atmosphere. There is even a music group that comes to sing on Fridays. I highly recommend.

I got a sub and it was nasty !!! Bitter taste, very small, expensive for a 6inch sub. Would not recommend at all, go to subway or elsewhere unless u wanna still be hungry and be left with a nasty bitter taste in your mouth. If i could give less than 1 star I would.

This is a restaurant Ive been going to for over 40 some years. Last time I was there I found the pizza had changed. The pepperoni looked and tasted like bologna. Not as good at all. The large fries and sauce is expensive for the quantity you receive. I know with covid, restaurants are having a hard time so I will give them another chance. Just go back to your original pizza. It was a pizza that you could always count on.
