Delicious Italian eatery in Magog .. the salad I choose was like eating my grand-papas salad ! The meatballs were perfect , the focaccia superb, best cannoli I’ve had since childhood 😍
This is a terrific Italian eatery. I think I would place it in the top five of restaurants I have reviewed. I had the minestrone and a salad. Both excellent. My lunch companions had linguini, pizza and salad. All said they were great. I finished with an allongé that was so good, I asked what the brand was. See photo. They did not have gluten free pasta nor pizza dough but did have a soup and salads without wheat. Service was professional and the décor was very good… OK, they did have a couple of large screen TVs on the wall, but they were showing scenes from Italy, so one might say that they added to the atmosphere. I have no hesitation in recommending it if you find yourself in Magog.
Love this place! Nice menu and their pizza is unique 🥰 Beautiful decor! Excellent service. For dinner, you must reserve ahead. In the middle of the afternoon for a late lunch, you can just stop buy. It’s in the heart if Magog, so you can easily find public on the same street at a 5- minute walk from Alessa Trattoria. We ordered Pizza Calabrese (pepperoni) with an extra of mushrooms 🥰
Delicious food, though the mocktails were just okay, but that didn’t dampen our experience. The atmosphere was great, and we’re definitely going back
Loved this restaurant. The service was amazing, from the hosts to the servers. The food was delicious. And the ambiance was great. It is a big restaurant and we do not feel crammed at all. Loved it.
Great place to grab your Italian favourites when in Magog. The pizza is made with real dough that had time to rest overnight and is cooked in a decent pizza oven. The service is impeccable and the place was bustling on a Friday night! It is my go-to for Italian fare in Magog.
Stellar. The only place I ever had pizza crust this caliber was at a well known spot in Rome. So whatever your chef is doing, they're doing it right. The arancini was well balanced, not too most not too cheesy (sorry, was too hungry to think to take a photo) and the others at our table ordered pastas and the caesar salad which were all reportedly very, very good. Our only complaint was that we had an elder with our group who had difficulty with the stairs, apparently large groups can't be sat on the ground floor but this is something that needs to be reevaluated for specific clients, because for some individuals, stairs are not an option and it was not made clear to us that our reservation was exclusively for the non handicap accessible 2nd floor when calling. Do keep in mind I'm leaving a 5 star for your food but that I was very frustrated by your inability to accommodate the elder in our group. Future guests may show up with wheelchairs or have individuals like ours, and they need to be accommodated appropriately.
The pasta dishes were fresh and delicious. The pizza was very different from an American version but it was very tasty. The cannolis were my favorite! Again just a very different taste palette from American dishes and we enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was very relaxing but that could just be the time we went, which was for an early dinner.
Food was good, but not great. Service was fast and fun! A bit too noisy on a Friday night. I did enjoy the pizza.
Excellent meal - starter, main course and dessert, all met expectations! The service was also of very good quality, although a little rushed on arrival. Maybe give customers a little more time so they can settle in before offering them something to eat or drink. Otherwise, nothing to say!
Went for our anniversary and received no congratulations or anything, not even an acknowledgment, even tho it was mentioned in the notes of the reservation. In general, the food was good. I could comment that the Cesar salad would be more enjoyable if the Parmesan was shredded and not large slices.
OMG I have never eaten so well
A beautiful menu, but ZERO GF pasta the cuttlets are all pre-breaded. Nothing can be modified, my guess is everything is prepared in advance. Avoid if you are gluten free. The cappuccinos were cold and we had to send them back. The 2nd ones were delicious. No small forks for mussels, lots of things were lacking. I had a family Cesare salad and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and left hungry. The staff was very polite, We were 4 people and ordered 2 appetizers, 4 main courses, 2 dessert and 3 cappuccinos. At 250$ plus tip it was expensive. Sadly I dont see the restaurant being open in 6 months.
The service and atmosphere is amazing here. The food is fabulous as well BUT were in 2024 almost 2025, its time to understand the importance of having animal-free options. I almost always order the the Pinocchio pizza which has an artichoke and truffle based sauce along with mozzarella, parmigiano, pancetta (which I ask to remove) along with arugula. I ask for an extra mushroom to replace the cheese and meat removed and the restaurant will, not only have me pay the original price of the pizza (even if I have asked to remove the most expensive part of the pizza), but also charge me for the extra mushrooms. Id like to ask a review of this and the logic behind it.
Alessa is a sure bet. Impeccable service and food but why this American music?
Great discovery Price aligned with the quality of the dishes
Incredibly high prices
We couldnt wait to go to this Italian restaurant given the good reviews. Very pleasant and neat decor and very friendly waiter. We ordered appetizers and a bottle of wine for the meal. Turns out the food arrived at the same time as our cocktails, so we canceled the bottle of wine, given the size of the cocktail glasses. We would have appreciated taking the time to enjoy our aperitif and felt the eagerness of the people who served us the dishes. I would have a recommendation; it is perhaps not wise to allow us to reserve online at 8:30 p.m. when we are informed on site that the kitchen closes in 30 minutes (I imagine that is the cause of their haste). Maybe bring forward the last possible reservation time so we dont feel pushed? Also, its very subjective, I found the dishes sloppy and not to our taste. Given the decor of the place, I expected other attention paid to the service and the dishes.
a piece of Italy. truly authentic Italian cuisine. a well qualified and friendly service. Unfortunately, the musical sound was the usual annoying oh oh oh and ah ah ah. That doesnt fit the atmosphere.
The menu is perfect except there is no spaghetti Carbonara Which I love! Shut down, Alfredo leave your place! You re not as good!
I have eaten here hundreds of times and I am NEVER disappointed, literally one of the best restaurants in Magog LOOOOVVEEE
Very good authentic food, generous portion.
Very good. Impeccable service. Quite expensive.
Nice restaurant, friendly service, changing table available for babies.
Best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. We were 12, and everyone was amazed . Food
Amazing. Everything about this place is awesome. The food the service the location. Thanks for a wonderful celebration of a friends birthday.
Way too noisy, service was slow and uneven food was mediocre
My Italian craving was satisfied at this restaurant. All that was missing from the menu were ravioli. I had the Gigi pasta, and my friend had the lasagna with Bolognese sauce. Too too good. Our waitress was truly professional, and the service was fast and sophisticated. The wine and cocktail list was generous. I had the Alessa signature cocktail and it was the best thing I put in my belly tonight. For a restaurant in a small town like Magog, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything.
I was absolutely amazed by this restaurant! The best Italian cuisine Ive had in years and in Magog!
The best lasagna that I have ever eaten in my life, food was so fresh , all pasta and food are amazing, good service and nice place
Really very good, the sauces are excellent. the service is perfect
Everything we ordered was genuinely delicious. The menu is rather fairly priced for the area. The staff is professional and proactive, and the place truly looks stunning inside. Will definitely go back when we visit the area.
It was the first time I went and the last time the restaurant is very noisy it is much too expensive for what is on the plate, there is a lack of service and the bathroom which is not clean. ..
Excellent service The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was perfect. We will return without a shadow of a doubt
Absolutely love the place. The wine is excellent, the food is just amazing, and the tiramisu is THE BEST. They did take the plates separately, the service is good but they re always speeding. But over all I love the place really recommend it.
A bit loud because it was busy. Server and food were excellent! A good stop.
One of the best pizzas in Quebec.
The BEST PIZZA !!!! , and pastas are all delicious We ate Alessa, Capriciossa, and Parma. All ingredients are fresh !!! High-quality products are used !!!! Definitely will go back. We visited from Montréal. Its a must !!!
Courteous and fast service. Excellent food, varied menu. Bravo to the chef and his team.
Excellent cuisine, the veal escalope was delicious and the pasta perfect. The service was very ordinary that evening. We had our cocktails after our starters, as soon as we finished our main courses arrived without delay, our cocktails were not even finished yet. The wine arrived in the middle of the main course. Everything was poorly timed. We were on the covered terrace on the 2nd floor and the view was great.
Never on a Saturday evening When the restaurant is full it is way too loud. It may be better during the week. The pizza was the worst we have eaten in Canada. The spaghetti was very good. The service was ok.
Excellent restaurant with very good service
Excellent food, nice setting in beautiful Magog, great atmosphere andcwelcoming to all including children
Excellent service, courteous employees and food the restaurant very clean
Impeccable service! Very good food and affordable price! I recommend
Excellent dinner and very nice evening. Superb restaurant with a beautiful covered terrace upstairs. The pizza was excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
This place is amazing. The food is fresh, well prepared and tastes sooooo good. Highly recommended. Just park around the corner by the lake and come here for a change
Warm tortellini small portion and expensive.
Really nice staff, affordable price!
Yesterday evening we went to eat there, the restaurant was full despite the crowds, the owner received us in this magnificent restaurant we had a very competent server Mr. Félix a big thank you I recommend this restaurant 100/100 excellent quality WoW thank you Félix you is your place in the restaurant business!!!
The service is fast, the waitress/waiter is very nice and courteous. The dishes ordered were very good. A must if you are in the area!!!
Excellent. The meals are very good and plentiful
Amazing Restaurant, went Sept 2nd for dinner, food was amazing, so good we went back on Tuesday for lunch to try the pizza, must try. The Chef is awesome, fresh ingredients, quality ingredients. My friend and I really enjoyed everything
First visit and certainly not the last! Our meals were delicious: focaccia (divine), veal escalope and pasta. And the service was second to none.
This is my second visit and once again the food was decadent, the pasta perfectly aldente and a delicious dessert to cap off the experience, a must in Magog
I am not sure what I was expecting to start with, this is definitely not a great restaurant and feel like a chain even if it isnt one. The pasta dishes were lacking flavor and sauce, almost felt dry because of almost no sauce on them, on top of that the pasta was overcooked. Pizza was actually good. You will do better pasta at home yourself. I will not go back.
Very pleasant, good food and very good service, I would go back, very nice place if we pass by there and not disappointed. I enjoyed it for my part
Their hours say: open till 10:00 pm. We went in at 9:10 pm, and the hostess told us they were closed. If youre closing that early, you should specify open till 9:00. Luckily for us, we walked up the street to Caffucino. They took us, we ordered delicious pasta, and were out by 10:00.
Wonderful food, fun atmosphere
Great discovery in Magog! A perfect place to enjoy good pizzas
Great atmosphere and building. Great staff but the ingredients they use are unsatisfying. My husband ordered a calzone and they used cheap deli ham .... For the price it should have been better.
Pizza tastes as good as in Napoli Very good, would recommend Food
Our first visit to Alessa on recommendation from a friend. Excellent food, good wine selection, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere and vibe, coupled with reasonable prices. Highly recommended to all. Will definitely return for another meal.
The atmosphere is very pleasant. The decor is very pretty, the terrace is not huge but very good. Everything we ordered was very good, including the desserts and wine suggestions. The servers are very attentive and kind. Prices are reasonable for the good quality. I highly recommend!
I will never return, the restaurant was a disappointment when it came to the food and service (basically the whole restaurant). STANLOONA. Dont come here unless you like boiled dog meat.
Food was not very delicious and we found hair in the pizza! And when we told waiter he didnt do anything and didnt refund! But after we spoke to manager they refunded us
A must-have. Definitely the sure bet of Magog restaurants. The best Italian food, very affordable. By far the most beautiful decor and atmosphere. A must every time we are in Magog. We highly recommend it.
We frequent this establishment regularly and always come away very satisfied with our experience. The welcome is warm, the food always excellent and the service deserves to be highlighted. The quality and freshness of the products used in the preparation of the dishes are apparent from the first bite. Al dente pasta or pizza will undoubtedly satisfy you. A final piece of advice: make a reservation because the place is very busy.
I go to Alessa regularly with my grandchildren and it s always a party. The food is excellent, the service impeccable, the employees are always smiling. The menu is very well suited for families. And what about the Nutella pizza for dessert, it delights children and adults alike. Whether its the pizzas or the pasta, everything is delicious and if there is any left over, the dishes to bring are reusable.
For a first outing in a year alone with my partner after the birth of our daughter, we are pampered. First, we arrived without a reservation on a Saturday at 6 p.m. in a very busy evening. We werent dressed like people who were going to spend $200 on a bottle of wine, but we were immediately made a seat with a smile. Then, the service was fast, courteous and always attentive to our needs. The pizza was succulent and respects the soul of Italian cuisine. The point that however convinced me to take a few minutes to write a positive review is the following: there was no non-alcoholic beer on the menu (and therefore no price displayed), but the waitress informed me that They had Heineken 0%. When I received the bill after my meal, I realized that the Heineken only cost a few dollars. For a restaurant that could charge $9-11 without embarrassment, I take my hat off for the honest pricing. Its very classy of you to give a non-alcoholic option at a low price.
Very disappointed with the welcome. Very arrogant hostess. Really disappointed with my experience today.
Very good pizzas and pastas! The service is always impeccable.
Beautiful, modern restaurant...the food was delicious. The staff was young but very professional...our waiter tended to be a little careless pouring our water and refilling our glasses...minor point in an otherwise pleasant dining experience...
Except that Everything was very good. Impeccable service. We were 4 adults. Everyone loved it. Be careful with tipping, the machine adds the chosen percentage over taxes
Very disappointed. We arrived at 7 p.m., ordered a bottle of wine, a starter and our main meal. At 7:56 p.m. our waitress comes to see us (even though my plate is half full) and says; I tell you in advance but at 8 p.m. we have a reservation. Me saying What? In 5 minutes ? She adds, you wont have time for coffee and dessert and I can put the rest of your pizza in a take-out box. BUT FORGIVE!! We were never notified that there was a reservation, we would have gone elsewhere to have all the time we needed. She adds that she can give us another 15 minutes but that the other customers are in the entrance next door and they are waiting.. ....We were kicked out! We wont be going back there again. The owner was on site and did nothing or said anything to apologize or fix the situation.
Excellent dishes. Perfect service. I recommend 100%
Everything was delicious and the service was excellent but on the terrace the pasta was lukewarm
Wonderful food, great service and a pleasant outdoor dining experience.
We ate poplettes, arancini, squid and anchovy and olive pizza. Everything is 10/10, quality ingredients and great service. Smiling staff especially our server, Mael. Thank you, we had a great evening!
I love this restaurant for its decor, attentive service and menu. Authentic minestrone soup, pizza worthy of Italy.
Food was mediocre at best. We had Caesar salad, calamari and linguine Gigi. The salad was soggy and bland, the pasta unremarkable. The calamari were okay, but the aioli was basically ketchup and mayonnaise. Service was slow. It is a glitzy place with corresponding pricing but we were not impressed.
Very good meal, very good service, a little noisy but worth the detour.
Very nice place
Very good service. Caring with children. Very good meal, price according to the market. Friendly for families
Excellent veal with mushrooms. Fast service
Very fast service! Happy pizza! But the drink is too expensive!
The quality of the food is excellent. We will go back there for sure!
Welcoming restaurant, the employees are really very courteous and pleasant, diverse and excellent menu
Excellent service, extraordinary meal
Dish served cold. rotten service!
This is a very good restaurant, fast service, food taste great, and great hospitality! Anytime I visit the eastern townships, I will be going to Alessa Trattoria.
Nice clean place, good food and adequate price.
This place is fabulous! Pizza crust is amazing
Really excellent
We took for delivery. Very nice option. The pasta and pizza were very good. And what about the Nutella pizza? The children loved it. Courteous delivery man and on time. Nice option for food at home other than fast food. Vegetarian options: Pizza pasta Kid-friendliness: Food the kids liked
Excellent wood fired pizza, reasonably priced, great service! Excellent pizza in a wood oven, reasonable prices, very good service!
For several years, I have been a customer at this restaurant which I have introduced to several friends. Currently, I have new dietary restrictions (severe allergies). I called the restaurant 24 hours in advance to advise of my arrival (on a reservation of 6 people) explaining my dietary restrictions. I proposed 3 different solutions, all of which were refused. I was asked to cancel the reservation or have dinner at home before coming to their restaurant. Honestly, the service deserves one star. Dietary restrictions: No accommodation possible, even if restrictions/allergies are disclosed 24 hours in advance.
Excellent food and service. Very friendly and timely
There were two of us, and for us, everything was perfect! It was delicious, filling and good value for money. Mael offered us impeccable service! We will come back for sure!
Very nice attention and the dinner was great!
It was delicious, very good service, we loved it
Alright!
Food was very tasty, online ordering was easy, and when I picked up my order the staff member was friendly and polite
I brought my best friend to eat for her party. his dish was saltier than the sea itself. His dish looked like a dog dish. ashamed. As a pure Italian, I can confirm that this dish came directly from a freezer dish at Good Food. without comment. how can I explain to you the sadness on the face of my best friend starving then what she hadnt eaten all day while waiting for this meal. and to close it all off, a burnt loaf as a starter and coming from the young waitress (this is how we do it) her bread crumbled under her fingers and melted in the oil. and subsequently when we asked not to load the dish order that she had obviously not eaten we subsequently entered into a strong argument with the manager so if you like salty sea food more than Italian food I strongly suggest Alessa. small overview:
Good menu choice. Succulent dishes. Good atmosphere
Allessa Trattoria was wonderful! My husband and I began with the arancini balls and then shared lasagna and tortellini. All plates were done to perfection and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is modern and relaxing. Our server was very good and efficient. We will be back!
Wonderful service from server Loïc! I followed his recommendations and was delighted! We will return there, for sure!
My wife and I enjoy this restaurant very much, on this occasion we were joined by my mother-in-law and brother-in-law and his wife. The food is absolutely outstanding diabetes is very nice and comforting, without criticizing too much because I know how difficult it is, the service was at Parr. I am a senior and have been around the restaurant business for quite some time, I should not have to ask the waiter to clean the table after our appetizers, and when I say clean the table I dont mean just removing dishes, and please turn off roll your eyes at me when I asked you to do this. This restaurant is a five-star expensive restaurant I expect the service to be the same. All that being said absolutely fantastic food I would recommend it 9.5//10. Thank you continued success to you Mark and Diana Wheelchair accessibility: What staff was very accommodating for our needs. Large spacious tables. Thank you again
There were 6 of us, we were placed upstairs on the terrace but it was not open, the plastic bags were still there. We felt like we were in a sauna from hell. It was so noisy, a group of angry young girls shouted next to us. We felt like we were in a high school cafeteria with the plastic chairs ouffff. We didnt like our experience. The service was really poor, I left the tip because Im polite. , but it made me feel bad. The food was quite ordinary, the spaghetti boloniaisse was so salty and everything was cold. I wont go back if I visit Magog another time.
Very slow service, after 35 minutes we had to ask to receive our starter which the waiter thought he would bring us at the same time as the main courses HEY ALLO, its a starter. Undercooked pizza and wet crust, super sticky spaghetti left too long under the stove because they had to redo the pizza because the server had dropped it before getting to the table. Super poor service. Excellent lasagna and the focassia good nothing more. Atmosphere is good, clean restaurant. Not a success for the 4 of us.
Many thanks to Mael for the excellent service! The best waiter, very kind and helpful!
Perfect for a festive dinner! Our server Loic is very friendly and efficient. The food is excellent and the service is quick. We will definitely return.
Kim is an amazing server; the whole team was extremely attentive. We had a great rosato wine, yummy food (linguine gigi, focaccia & cannoli) that was surprisingly very light in our bellies - natural and fresh ingredients. Pretty Atmosphere with a good vibe. Even though a huge party came in they delivered our food in record time and it was very delicious. Highly recommend.
Great services and perfect food
We ordered penne with vodka, a sauce base that reminds me of canned Aylmer tomato cream, the Cesar salad is very good but with croutons, dont dare to bite into it, otherwise you risk breaking your teeth. Disappointment
In the heart of old Magog. Beautiful menu, good wines, good service... a little expensive, but still!
Optimal!!!
Very good service.
Alright
Polpettes, octopus, seafood linguine, veal escalopes, in short, everything was delicious and fresh. Very pleasant and courteous service!
Welcoming staff and unparalleled service. The pizza is delicious
Very good. Really enjoyed the food and the focaccia. Would go back.
Great discovery
Great restaurant , tasty food. The owner is also very pleasant to speak to. Atmosphere and service are also very good.. Good Wine list.
Very disappointing food for the price. We seem to pay more for the luxury feeling of the restaurant than for the dishes themselves. Ive been there 3-4 times and always the same verdict. Pizzas that arrive uncut and already damp, very ordinary pasta dishes.
Excellent food, very nice restaurant! But what can I say about this service!! The waiters and waitresses were attentive to our needs, friendly and friendly. Impeccable quality of service! Vegetarian options: Available
The restaurant is really beautiful and our server was very nice but those are the only positive points. The menu is limited, practically no vegetables on the plates. No other choice than pasta, veal and pizza (we chose not to have pizza because the one served to the customer around us had a lot of dough and little topping) and especially for an Italian restaurant, the pasta is not homemade. In addition, when we ordered our plate, we received it maximum 5 minutes after ordering! Its not a fast food restaurant. They should have given us a reasonable amount of time to talk a little and drink our glass of wine. If we had wanted, we could have gone out 30 minutes after coming back, we felt rushed. They dont put bread on the table, you have to pay for it! First time Ive seen this and we eat at very good tables. Its still an expensive place, one could expect a certain standard. Not to mention the employees who were gardening the indoor plants while chatting about their weekend right next to our table during our meal... We will not go back and we do not recommend.
The desserts are terrible apart from the Tiramitsou...except $12....the other desserts are mediocre there is one with very cheap Nutella and degelasse the Nutella is poison for your health....for a 4 star restaurant is cheap...the crust of the pizza was burnt and the spaghetti cold....
The slowest place on the street yet they won t serve just cocktails. Wanted a couple martinis, but must order food. I wish them well.
Worst service ever The host was rude and she gave priority to people without reservation just because they had the same skin color as hers. Very very disappointing
The waitresses were particularly insulting!! What a welcome from m . Never been received this way in a restaurant
Food is good
Very good pizza, at the level of the best Italian pizzerias Very attentive dining room staff Nice atmosphere, tables a little too close together
Kids friendly. Excellent cuisine, perfect pizza dough. Efficient and pleasant service.
Pleasant atmosphere, courteous service, ordinary pizza. Poor choice of non-alcoholic drinks and no cider on the menu, too bad!
We went with our 3 young children, incredible service from our waiter and waitress. The food was excellent, the pasta is not fresh pasta but the sauces and the execution of the dishes make us forget everything, especially at the more than reasonable price of the dishes! The octopus carpaccio is more than excellent! Im shedding a tear because Im already so bored of this dish! The restaurant is exemplary clean and the decor is very beautiful! In addition to being open 7/7! Ive been there a few times and Ill happily visit again the next time Im in Magog! Kid-friendliness: High chair and amazing service
Very nice, food was tasty and very close to authentic italian
Disappointed with the pizzas. Pate too thin and not exceptional. Garlic pate with the scaloppine di vitello with mushrooms too much garlic. Really disappointed.
Excellent food! The service was friendly and attentive despite the post-eclipse rush. I recommend it and would definitely go back!
The comment is about the quality of a dish and the quality and lack of professionalism of the service; no one intends to understand and adjust but rather to argue in the wrong direction! We expected a quality of welcome and a more open spirit of service to better manage our experiences as customers. Its about a dish that has changed portions since last month - prosciutto with melon; has now become a prosciutto almost without melon!!!
Well received. Nice restaurant. Simple dishes
The chicken parmesan and cheese starter with tomato sauce tastes like heaven. It s a must!
A beautiful place in Magog, enough to satisfy all your Italian food desires The setting is very pretty but the staff is cold, I didnt appreciate the service.
Thanks to Florence for her attentive service and warm smile that made our dining experience even more memorable.
Cozy restaurant, great pizza. It is relatively hot inside, so plan outfits accordingly or have layers. For people with little kids, be aware that it is a cozy place with little tables, so there is no space for kids to move around.
$22 for a gin and tonic is way over the top! Basic $10 an extra $12 for Hendrick s!!!! 1.18$ vs 2.16$ per ounce means that the price should have been 16$ maximum!! This is downright theft!!
Alessa is one of my favorites in Magog, the employees are all super nice, the pizzas are delicious and for someone coming from a big city I find the prices very reasonable
Out of this world experience
A pizzeria with no surprises. The dishes are correct and the room pleasant.
Wonderful food in a wonderful location
Very good restaurant in Magog, the food was excellent and the service just as much. I recommend
Very good restaurant! The food was delicious, value for money. I will go back there for sure.
Very nice italian restaurant ,good food, Excellent service Food
Its oddly made for a restaurant. Its a different style from what Im used to seeing. So I wasnt sure. But me and my wife love exploring. So I told myself. Why not. The dishes and service were impeccable. Me and my wife were truly amazed and treated like a king and queen. The dishes were extremely delicious. I would have liked to live closer to go back more often. Its really rare that I eat well like this. I was even surprised by the bill. I thought it would be much more than that. Very nice dining experience. Well done! We were really close to the exterior window of the restaurant. A plus would have been to have a window that we could look outside without being looked at inside the restaurant.
We drove 30 minutes to eat at this restaurant And we were not disappointed! The atmosphere seduced us. The black and white style of the decor with the marble tables brings modernity to the restaurant while remaining in the Italian style. It feels like youre eating on the terrace even in the middle of winter! As it was our first visit, the waitress took the time to explain the menu to us. We tried the homemade pastas, pizza and deserts and everything was excellent. The ingredients were of more than satisfactory quality for the season. The service was sublime from start to finish. We had a great evening there as a couple! To try if you are looking for an Italian restaurant that is a little upscale, but without being overpriced.
Lovely. Great meal and service, comfy atmosphere.
Ok, can we talk about the lasagna! One of the best I have ever tasted. Laying of the delicate noodles with bolognese sauce with creamy béchamel was exquisite. We had the pizza Alessia which was very good. The dough was perfect and light. Service was top notch from a young gentleman from Belgium. Very polite, knowledgeable. Posed yet approachable, he brought me back to the times of grand restaurants and white gloves service. A wonderful experience and I will be forever looking to recreate that lasagna! Many thanks!
Very nice, clean and up-to-date place. Very courteous staff and good service. Excellent food with reasonable prices. I recommend the detour.
As an Italian, most of the ingredients are absolutely not authentic, like the provolone cheese (which isn t the real one) also a lot of typing mistakes appear in the menu. I can t call this an Italian restaurant at all, it s not worth your time and expense.
Walking into this Italian joint is like entering a carb-loaded comedy club where pizzas crack cheesy jokes, and the pasta does a little twirl before stealing the spotlight. Its so delicious; Im convinced the chef has a secret pact with Italian nonnas who sprinkle extra magic into every dish. If food could tell jokes, these pizzas and pastas would be headlining at the Food Comedy Festival. Bravo, Chef youve turned my taste buds into a standing ovation!
Gnocchi was incredible, tomato sauce something special
We really enjoyed eating here, food and wine were very good. We went two nights in a row during our stay in Magog. We tried pasta, pizza and salads all were delicious. Would highly recommend. I would suggest getting a reservation if you come on a Friday or Saturday night and want a table, but there seems to be space at the bar without a reservation. Staff were very accommodating and the bar tender was great.
Service so-so. It took time to be served, Ambiance, deco very nice. Food I was expecting more. Dessert : there is no cake. Chocolate cake is basic and a must in restaurant menu on my opinion Food : 3/5
Great Italian food, very tasty pasta and sauce. Perfect service with pleasant atmosphere.
Good experience...Luka served us very well. We will return with pleasure.
