The glasses of water are filled... We are given the very interesting menu, everyone makes their choice... Everything arrives to whet everyones appetite... The magic happens! It s SO GOOD!!! From starter to dessert, everyone shares their good impression, but whats more: everything was distributed to us with a big smile, unparalleled kindness! Hats off to all of you from Benito, you deserve congratulations, total recognition! What a beautiful evening we had at your place! Thank you and look forward to it!

Warm welcome, impeccable service, excellent food. We had dinner there to celebrate my partners birthday. I really highly recommend this restaurant! We will definitely return. I had the veal cannelloni and my partner had the veal marsala and WOW!

Really very nice restaurant, we can hear each other talking and the team is very friendly. The plates are plentiful and it s very good. The wine list is interesting, but in my opinion deserves mid-range bottles at more competitive prices.

Very warm, the Italian cuisine is delicious and the service impeccable!!!

My partner and I visited Bénito on August 4. The dishes were absolutely delicious. The starters (Fondant Paillasson and Scallop Ravioli) were so tasty that we didnt know where to turn our taste buds!! And what about the beef tartare... Yummmmmm!!! The service was impeccable despite the fact that only two waitresses were on the floor. It was probably a little longer than usual but it was worth the wait and more!! Dont give up!!! You found a great recipe!!

It was a first time for us. We LOVED it Excellent service The cocktails are delicious! We had several starters and they were all excellent! The Gigi pasta was delicious! One of the best Caesar salads we have eaten! Definitely worth returning Well done!

Very good address if you want Italian dishes. Restaurant located near a river with Italian specialties. The welcome is warm, the service is correct. The dishes we ordered were all excellent we all finished our beautiful plates and unfortunately had no more room for dessert. We were able to order a French wine to accompany our dinner. Very good restaurant, only downside, I really like white sauce and I didnt have any for myself. The seafood pasta, I would have had white sauce or carbonara style. Lots of choice in tomato sauce. On the other hand, the eggplant starter and the beef carpaccio were excellent. The seafood pasta was good (for my taste, I would have preferred a white sauce), the scallops were excellent, cooked perfectly. The duck pappardelle was very good and our friends lasagna, they loved it. The service at the beginning left us dissatisfied... we were forgotten... It took a very long time to receive our entries, it took 1 hour, no one came back to bring us water or apologize for the waiting... On the other hand, when the waitress came back, she apologized, she was honest about having forgotten us, that she had had to deal with something else, she brought us rolls, made my pasta brown at no extra cost and we brought a very good limoncello ice cream to make up for it. It raised everyones happiness index and we left very happy with our experience. We are happy with our evening and will recommend your establishment, thank you.

We came there by chance and returned for their duck papardelle, a dish that was both original and tasty. If the weather permits, the terrace with the view of the river is worth trying. We highly recommend and thank you to the waitress for her great service, she always makes sure everything is correct :) go for it!!

Almost no service due to a lack of staff. As for the food, unfortunately very disappointed; the meat for the carpaccio was sliced much too thick, little taste. The main meal was equally disappointing; veal escalopes too hard and with sticky breading. The old Benito was really better in every way!

Super nice place but unfortunately very very long, around 1h45 to get our (hot) dish, sorely lacking in taste... No explanation for the wait, perhaps a lack of staff. A glass of wine offered by the house but refused (not drinking alcohol) therefore no discount on the final bill. $140 for 2 hours of waiting and one dish out of two was quite salty... (The salty dish was still very good: leek and poppy seed pasta, the squash ravioli were quite thin)

Super nice place, extremely well located with a terrace on the waters edge. The service was overwhelmed but serious and attentive. The quality and presentation of the dishes is very good. The menu itself does not live up to what one would expect from a modern restaurant. No real vegetarian or vegan option (with vege proteins). No identification of gluten on the menu, but our server was able to find out easily and with great openness.

Thank you for having us as a group. We appreciated being placed in the back, it allowed us to have our privacy and not disturb us. The service: impeccable, the people are smiling and extraordinarily kind. I recommend without hesitation.

We had gone to the trouble of booking for a birthday and they lost our reservation. Finally we got a table at the back of the restaurant... we were told that they had changed management and that there had been problems since then. Then the service was horribly slow. It took almost an hour and a half to get poorly cooked pizzas . The seafood pizza had 4 shrimp, 4 scallops and a few snails not very good! In addition, we found a hair in one of the pizzas It s extremely expensive for the poor quality of the meals and the service!

15 minutes for someone to come say hello, and flatly announce that the restaurant was full despite at least 2 unreserved tables. Service really not up to par.

Excellent service, but very mediocre food, not at all Italian in flavors. Overcooked veal escalopes, tasteless, basic presentation. Penne bolognese, correct pasta, pickling sauce with coarse street salt. Garlic bread without garlic, without butter and dry burnt. I dont recommend this restaurant especially if youre looking for flavors full of Mamas love for her tomatoes.

My worst takeout ordering experience! Everything had to be ready within 30 minutes, and I only got my order 1 hour 10 minutes later, with a waitress who kept making false excuses for the wait. I tell her that I see that it says chicken parmesan on a box even though I ordered and paid for veal: she crosses out chicken, writes veal and swears that it is veal parmigiana and that the cook made a mistake while writing. Look at the photo, it s definitely chicken! The calf does not have this color... The accompanying pasta was ridiculously served and was not cooked... The eggplant parmigiana was inedible (the eggplant was full of rancid oil) The funghi risotto was an awful soup... The garlic bread was extremely dry toast! What a disappointment after paying over $80 for so many inedible things. Unfortunately I dont live there, otherwise I would have brought everything back... Dont go there!

We had dinner at this restaurant with friends and despite the aging decor the service is fast and polite. There is no longer an early dinner special, which is a shame because the prices of the a la carte menu are quite high. The food served was very good.

If you want to eat a risotto with pasty rice, a small portion, three scallops and pay 32 dollars youve come to the right place!

The place is very nice. Beautiful decoration. The waitress was very friendly and the service attentive. As for the meal, a real delight from start to finish. Im going back soon for the third time even though Magog is an hour and a quarter from my home. Its definitely worth the trip.

We were in this place for a group Christmas dinner. There wasnt enough room for such a large group. The food was cold, it was not ready to accommodate 90 people being served at the same time. The bib was bloody. Small portions and frozen dessert.

The crab burger was really excellent, the langoustines fresh and tasty and the seafood gratin was very, very good. The service was really perfect, and very good advice.

My concerns were the waiting time for no apparent reason, to give my order even though the host had us well seated. Good food but 2 thick veal escalopes is way too much. One would be enough, it would lower the prices a little. The vegetables were pretty bland. Many people around us asked to bring leftovers. Pay attention to the credit card payment machine: The waitress tells us that what is written on the bill regarding the tip is 15% or 20% before taxes. What we dont know is that the 15% we charge on the machine is calculated on the total amount after taxes!!! Have it clearly explained to you how it works.

Me, rare steak with fries, salad, sautéed mushrooms and pepper sauce, my spouse orders the same thing but medium for cooking... 30 minutes later we are served, I ask which plate the medium steak has... No idea, I dont know, well see in the kitchen I cut a piece then I say its correct, well get organized! Start eating, but where are the mushrooms!? My partner gets nervous about her steak... the waitress comes back and then lets tell us about the bad steak... She comes back saying uh we have more mushrooms, sorry and the other customers liked the steak so I tell her , due to lack of mushrooms could I have other vegetables, she said ok then came back and said a little salad is that okay? Honestly, I already had some on my plate!!! I ask if it is possible to have water (there are 4 of us at the table) she comes back with just 1 glass for me!!! I ask if possible to have bread... a basket of bread arrives and the bread is hard and dry... in the end my partner did not have supper (her steak was bad and ruined her appetite) we are returned to the hostel with a very wasted evening! P.S. the singer was very good... For the rest, there is a long way to go to reach an acceptable level in catering (personal opinion).
