Update: forgot and came back and Bethany was not nice at all - so rude! Michael was great not sure why they let the jerks work there with such nice people. Arrogant bar staff more concerned with telling people off and Flexing their egos that they are providing great service and and fun environment, based on mutual respect. Left feeling disappointed in this place when I wanted to remain a raving fan - left not wanting to return again. Treat people and customers with respect and not like a commodity, it goes along way since we pay the bills. Saw a waitress yell at a table for spilling some drinks. Not very classy. However we were there the night before and our server Brooke was amazing. Thanks Brooke!

A very quiet place and very good attention from the people who work there.

It is always a delightful experience to visit this establishment, as they offer an impressive selection of delectable food and beverages. Although there was a slight error in the preparation of my drink during my last visit, I do not hold this against them. My fondness for this establishment remains unwavering, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit. Furthermore, they consistently stock my preferred beer, Innis & Gunn, which adds to the overall enjoyment of my visits.

Best townie bar in the area

Last time I went, however, owner refused to seat us because we were a large group and the pub was full, and he was very rude. Food also got worse after COVID and it seems that they replaced lots of ingredients with cheaper stuff (like the fries). I used to like this pub, because of the cozy atmosphere and the great selection of beers, and I was a loyal customer, but Im not coming back.

It is called The Flying Pig, Pig decorations everywhere, pulled pork and specialty sandwiches are prominently displayed in the menu. The cheesesteak was one line in the menu. So I asked the bartender if the kitchen minded substitutions to the sandwiches. She said they did not mind substitutions. I said great then can I get the grilled cheese specialty sandwich but substitute Cheesesteak meat for the ham. She said NO. So I got the cheesesteak. I thought it was standard at best. Dan thought it was salty. The cheese liquefied, settled on the bottom of the sandwich and made the cheese steak stick to the plate. Something happened because after we ate our Cheesesteak the bartender brought me a quarter of what she called their best selling sandwich. Why a quarter? Where is the other three quarters of the sandwich? If anyone sees three-quarters of the Flying Pig s best-selling sandwich wandering around Malvern please notify me.

This place is exactly what it is. Local place to get a beer. There is a selection, there are seats. I like no frills and I dont need to be constantly entertained. This place is great. Grab a bite because they are cooking up some decent food as well!

A little cramped, but surprisingly good food and a cool hang spot.

Horrible service. If yiu are not a local dont expect service. We waited over 20 minutes and never got served.

This cozy neighborhood saloon easily has some of the finest selections of craft beers anywhere. Excellent friendly service, and delicious authentic BBQ! All of the food is excellent however, and for the craft beer enthusiasts, you will be very impressed!

Bartender serving me brought me a beer and I said thank you bud and he slammed down my beer and said Im not bud Im Mike. Dont need attitude when I go to a local establishment. Thats why Ill never be back and brick and Brew as way better hospitality and service. Thanks bud

Decided to come here on a whim and Im SO HAPPY I did! We felt right at home the moment we got there. The whole vibe was great and the food was perfect. Definitely try the ribs - they slammed. We chatted a bit with the manager, Becky, and she was so nice and helpful. Ill absolutely come back.

Waitress was great and food was good, cute little spot. Parking is tight though. Edit: beware going with a large group even if you call ahead a few hours before and get the ok from the staff, manager can get rude and unapproachable. Hes the tall skinny older man with a bit of a attitude, sat on a computer at a table half the time on a friday night yet heckled our group for taking up a table on you know its friday right. Had to state to him we did call and you said it would be fine, we gave the option of us going elsewhere if it wasnt do able and they said no dont worry about it..it honestly made all of us agree to not go back and we told everyone at work about it since the man made us so uncomfortable (it was a work happy hour for full disclosure and it was only 15 of us who could go, and why we called for, and said would be coming at the time we stated)

Great local hangout. It was our first time here. Cozy spot with good service. Not too loud and plenty of screens to catch some games. Lots of beer options, and standard bar food options.

Really really good food!! But 2 waitresses are not enough for that place. Granted they were very good but there are limits. Other than that, they have an awesome beer selection. I highly recommended the Barnyard sandwich!!

Swung by here on the way to dinner at another establishment. Very traditional bar with nice selections of beer, wine, and other cocktails. Very good service and overall friendly place. If you re looking for a real bar and not some sanitized, franchise version of a bar, this seems like the place to hang out!

Got the prime rib sandwich and it was very dry and bland. Didnt sit in my stomach too well either. I shouldve expected this since it was wednesday and probably the weekends leftover prime rib

This place is the post for Malvern. Its run by genuine people who cater to clients wishes. Theyve got a fantastic selection of food accompanied by an even more fantastic selection of beers. When youre looking for a solid night out, this is the spot.

Great prices, long draft beer selection and delicious food! Order the full rack of ribs which are slathered with BBQ sauce and fall of the bone. Only wish they had more BBQ sides like mac and cheese, corn bread, baked beans, etc.

The Flying Pig Saloon, in my opinion, is basically exactly what you would expect to find from that name a small bar with mostly very local folk and delicious food. This is definitely one of the hallmarks of downtown Malvern. I dont know anyone from around the area who DOESNT know the Flying Pig. That said, it isnt necessarily the best spot on earth, and there are some things I dont love about it, namely the bathroom and ceiling being made for small people. And its usually pretty crowded (although I dont know about during COVID). But all in all its a small town bar with delicious food and a classic atmosphere.

Ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap and found hairs in it. I used to like this place but won t be going here ever again.

Great selection of tap beers and very friendly staff! If youre lucky enough to run into Fred at the bar he will have you hysterical with his crazy sens of humor.

Beer was skunk (stamp on bottle was over a year ago) and bartender ignored the strong odor that took over the bar. Friends had same problem 2 years ago when we were there with outdated beer. Better options in the area.

Lunch, one server/bartender and a fairly busy (socially distanced) crowd both indoors and out. She not only took great care of us and deserved a trophy, the food was also fabulous.

The Pig has went through a lot of changes and clientele over the years. This go-around its become a great casual neighborhood bar appealing to a wide variety of the locals. Leather couches add a nice homey feeling. The impromptu conga line was a pleasant surprise.

I dont know if we stumbled upon a hidden gem, or a well know beer mecca.. but I cant wait to go back. They have some of my favorite imports and a great tap list.. and honestly the prices are quite good.

Monday night was the worst food I ever ate and after the 1st bite I was done. Dont know if the cook was different but I suspect he or she was. Had food two weeks before for a late lunch and it was better. So Ill see if the third time is the charm

Had a wonderful outdoor dining experience at The Flying Pig. Infection control was excellent. Servers wore masks correctly. Tables were clean and spaced at least 6 ft. apart. Margaritas were cold and bold. Sandwiches were hearty. Great night witj my family.
