Hello, we're FAUN. An independent bakery, coffee shop and kitchen, celebrating the finest in local produce. Our sourdough loaves are available every day, alongside our wide range of pastries. Our all-day Brunch & Lunch menu is available Monday - Sunday, 9am-3pm (2.30pm on a Sunday). With pastries and cakes available until close. Every Friday evening, we re-open for our Simple Suppers from 5.30pm. View the current menu on our website. You'll find us at the top of Great Malvern, where you can admire the beautiful views across the Worcestershire countryside. We also have an outdoor terrace and two indoor areas where dogs are most welcome.
The mushrooms on toast was well presented but didn't do much for me. My fault not theirs. Staff were very attentive and bakery display was magnificent.
Our go to when in Malvern, absolutely love it. The pastries are top tier and the drinks selection is so good too. I recommend the dirty chai and the beetroot latte in particular. The best!
Great brunch spot. They have a bakery inside offering all the usual temptations, as well as seating inside and outside for a coffee or something more. I had the mushrooms on toast with their homemade beans - I really recommend! Even though it was very busy, the service was great and they also offer Gluten Free alternatives - perfect!
Faun is a stunning place. The food is excellent, the coffee is superb however the service is lacking. We have been 3 times now, and it's been the same each time. The quality of the food and great location make up for the slow service but this place would be so much better if the staff payed a bit more attention to the customers.
One of many coffee shops in Malvern but this one is also a bakery, so its offerings are more of an in-house variety. Lots of lovely pastries to choose from and a nice selection of warm and cold meals. We had a lovely Latte, an Oat milk Latte, and an Organic Cola drink, to go with the Toasted Cheese sandwich, Sausage roll, Chocolate Brownie with thick cream and Chocolate praline and hazelnut Tart. We enjoyed everything about what we had, whilst sitting outside under the canopy.
I had a nice lunch here with a friend of mine. I ate the roasted chicken deli sandwich (and the staff were happy to let me swap out some ingredients!) and my friend ate the shakshouka. We both enjoyed what we ate and would recommend both dishes. The staff were pleasant and the interior is decorated so nicely - the outside eating area was a little unattractive but the summer weather made up for it! The drinks were a bit expensive and the strawberry shrub my friend ordered was very vingerary (we thought it tasted just like ketchup!)
The best beans on toast I’ve ever had! On the first day of my two day trip I came here for a drink and a bit of cake. The lemon and raspberry cake was beautifully moist. For the second day we came back for lunch due to seeing the menu the day before. The beans on toast were lovely with beautiful smokey tomato flavour with a sweet vinegar and crispy onions. I got a sausage patty to go with them that was juicy and meaty. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere with a beautiful view from the hills. Would definitely go back for a third time!
Always a treat to come here for coffee, cake or brunch. Haven't yet tried the light lunches or the occasional special evening menus. The coffee is high quantity and well made. The cakes and pastries are absolutely delicious!
Excellent coffee, bread, eggs, cakes and food. The service is always excellent and everything is very fresh. The bread and pastries are the best weve ever had - definitely worth getting a cinnamon roll and Pan au Chocolat! The design of the cafe is great with the use of the old fixtures from when it was a department store! If were in Malvern we always stop in here! The bread and coffee stamp cards are a great bonus too.
The first, of I hope many, wine tastings - interesting wines, great knowledge and delicious light bites. 10/10 would recommend
We stopped in for lunch while passing through Malvern, and Im glad we did! We shared two of the most delicious sandwiches Ive ever eaten (the roast beef, and the cheese toastie), and if we lived closer I think wed be coming back regularly! The pastries also looked worth trying, but sadly I was too stuffed to contemplate any more food.
Loved it here. Really nice vibe, great bakes, nice food, lovely staff. Parking is a wee pain but if you can do the steps up from Waitrose youll be fine. Recommend.
Great quality fresh food and lovely staff. A firm favourite for lunch in Malvern!
Great experience in Faun today. Delicious smoked mackerel Pate & salad, followed by toasted banana bread, superb. The service was on point today too.
Oh my days, if I was based in Malvern I would *live* in this place. Possibly the most me café/brunch stop I ve ever visited. Came here on a first date. Serious brownie points to the guy for finding it
Great coffee shop, good selection of quality drinks and cakes. Some food is available. Gets very busy at the weekend, drop ins are possible but if theres 4 or more of you its worth booking a table/calling ahead. Parking: If youre visiting from out of town look up parking before you get here as theres lots of options but theyre all not easy to spot Kid-friendliness: Child friendly. High chairs and some kids toys available. However probably not a great place for restless children.
Parking: Traffic wardens are on the ball in this area. Make sure you dont exceed your time limit. Food
Great Artisan style Cafe which is dog friendly
We didnt have any food this time, but what we saw going past the table looked/smelt divine. The bakery, equally looks delicious. Very good quality coffee! And the staff were very pleasant. Overall a very relaxed and pretty setting.
Exquisite café not far from RHS amenities and the springs which are all well worth a visit
Great as always. No doubt best in Malvern. Easy to keep your bikes safe as cyclists.
Always come here after a walk in the hills for a cuppa and cake, the bacon sandwich is also awesome
Too pricey for what we had. 2 slices of sausage roll and hot drinks. Parking: We were lucky that we parked in front of the coffee shop. Parking in front of there is free for 1hr. Food : 3/5 |
Service was good enough, thing that let it down was the food and drink. We had 2 sausage rolls, a coffee and a hot chocolate. The sausage rolls were not a whole sausage roll, but a slice, were very greasy, and HUGELY over priced, around 6 or 7 pound for a slice!! Coffee wasnt any better than any other coffee shop and the hot chocolate tasted like hot water and chocolate powder! Parking: Parking is on the main road, not sure if there is any around the back, but we were lucky enough to get one right outside, but its only for 1 hr, but was plenty for a quick cuppa for us.
I m quite confident I ve never in my life tasted pastries this good It was absolutely unreal!
Lovely place for morning coffee although quite expensive. Parking: Street parking for limited time.Obviously, only if spaces are available. Food : 5/5 |
Lovely place with a great selection. Would definitely visit again
We popped in last week for breakfast and were not disappointed. The grilled mushrooms on sour bread toast and crispy onions was delicious. Highly recommend
My second visit. Excellent food, particularly the Syrian turmeric cake, professional yet friendly service, and a great location with views to die for. Highly recommended.
Best cinnamon buns ever!
Nice vegan almond croissant :) and flat white oat milk
Nice little place to have a drink and a bite to eat, Excellent welcome.
What a gem of a place! Great coffee, lovely staff and great sandwiches! Would highly recommend the Ploughman s - the bacon jam was
Had a lovely time in Faun. Very nice coffee and cake. The custard tart was the best I have ever tasted
Just had a coffee -- which was OK. Nice to sit outside, though, in the sunshine.
Great spot for coffee and brunch
Super nice food but, unfortunately, terrible service :-( We went for brunch and arrived around 11.45am on a Monday. We were seated in the back area. We waited ages for someone to come and take our order so I went to check if it was actually table service or if we needed to come to the front to order. Our waitress said she d be with us in a minute. When she did finally come, no Sorry for keeping you waiting or anything! We ordered the veg Shashuka, the fried egg on sourdough with truffle oil and a side of the grilled mushrooms to share. The food was delicious however the waitress never came back to check if all was ok, if we needed anything else or to clear the plates at any point. There were other people sat at the back who had also been forgotten including a woman in a wheelchair. It was rubbish! I could see the waitress chatting with her colleagues in the meantime. I eventually went up to order a pastry as the waitress was still too busy chatting with her colleagues to. come and see if anyone wanted anything. This too took longer to arrive than it should have so I got up to get it! This was such a shame. I would suggest that either the waitress needs more training in being a waitress or just tell people it s not actually table service and then expectations would be more realistic. So , food is lovely but deffo don t sit in the back area if you want table service!
Dog friendly. I order my dogs sausage pattys and they love it. Also a great coffee shop if you work remotely.
Love love the egg custard tart. We stopped off in this lovely coffee shop on the way home. Highly recommended the coffee and food.
Incredible pastries, so fresh and clean tasting. A big selection ranging from very indulgent to unusual, healthier treats. Great coffee and attentive service.
We went in and gad a take way sandwich with coffee. We waited more than 30min for the sandwich and had to ask for it! Clearly they have forgotten about it as when we got the sandwich wrapped in foil was cold. Bread was soggy and overall not nice. Maybe its a nice place but we didnt feel it was at all.
Best cinnamon bun ever , fresh out the bakery served with a great coffee
The best cheese toast. Double sided outside and melted cheese inside. Very decadent and The pastries are excellent and the bread too
Top notch.
Fantastic staff, great food, very friendly best bread ever, great place in every respect. No change the best in Worcestershire. Really superb!!!!
Brilliant! Was recommended here by my partner & have being meaning to go ever since. Such a fun vibrant place with an aesthetic perfect for a coffee & cake! The coffee - takeaway this time - was great tasting & not overly expensive. The cookie I also had was delicious well worth the money for the sweet treat! Will return for a bigger warm meal next time & hopefully it will live up to this now very high standard! Great effort.
5* coffee
I only went in for coffee but the bakery and food looks fantastic. A lovely buzzy place with a great sun terrace. Service
End of a long walk and a Faun staff member comes out of the shop and offers us a free doughnut. It was your closing time, our tiredness, your random act of kindness .. thank you . and, yes, the doughnut was awesome!!
Dog friendly coffee shop. I enjoyed the coffee (americano) and vanilla cruffin. You have many options including sourdough bakeries, cakes and tart. Nicely decorated interior brings you back in time... Friendly staff. Recommended.
Popped in for a tin sourdough and a Chai latte. Scrumptious as always.
Lovely bakery in Malvern! Superb pastries and breakfast options!
Lovely independent cafe. Love the limited edition of banoffee flavoured cruffin!!
Good quality dishes , service excellent but quite overpriced for what you get .
We have been here a few times now and each time we have had a lovely experience. The staff are so accommodating especially for little ones (the high chairs are amazing!) and the food is delicious and served very quickly. Thank you
After listening to folks rave about this place I decided to take the plunge and try Faun out for breakfast. After reading the menu which makes everything sound lovely I ordered a full English and a hot chocolate, what turned up was frankly a bit of a disappointment it all looked very nice but for the money I wasnt very impressed a plate mainly full of mushrooms a very odd interpretation of baked beans and the rest was all very average also my Venezuelan hot chocolate was served in a plastic cup and was no better than something from Costa it was also half the size and double the cost of Costa. Cant say Ill be rushing back
Called in for a late lunch bite. Flat white was excellent. The food was ok. My wife had the beef sandwich was apparently was superb. My toasted cheese sandwich was a little underwhelming. Not that hot and I was expecting something with more crunch and texture. Could have been because the kitchen was soon to close. Place looks lovely and inviting with great decoration and style. Short stay parking on the road outside.
The service was a bit slow, and my mum didnt get the bread that should have come with the smoked salmon she ordered, but I really enjoyed the coffee, and the shakshuka, and my mum enjoyed her smoked salmon. The pastries looked excellent, but I was too full to try one after the shakshuka - it was massive. Id come here again. Parking: Loads of free 1hr parking spots on the street outside, and there is a short stay car park 100yds down the road, where 2hrs costs £1.40.
Wow, loved this place, GF options , Vegan and regular meat options too, soo three of us very happy.
Being looked after by our son and grandson. For breakfast and coffee Amazing food and coffee Thankyou so much. Food : 5/5 |
Lovely atmosphere, the food and coffee were nice too. The menu has lots of choice and the cakes / fresh bread looked yummy although we didn t buy any.
We visited Faun by chance after wanting to go to a coffee shop further along the road and wow it was a great decision! I went for the smoked salmon sourdough and it s probably the best smoked salmon I ve had at a restaurant. The cakes are also really nice as they re a family run business and have them in fresh everyday. Definitely worth a trip if you re hiking the Malvern Hills and want a pit stop on the way home.
Great food staff are really nice too !
Exceptional food and good service at the simple supper last night
Wonderful place, beautiful food
Beautiful food and service
So we called in today for our 2nd visit because we enjoyed out first visit. Was disappointed today. We ordered and was told even though the closed at 3 ( Sunday) we could have food. My husband wasn t impressed with his sausage roll and my flat white arrived in a plastic cup, I d had a real cup for my coffee first time. Unfortunately, cups were cleared while we were still eating and we were told at 2.55 they d be closing in 5 mins. Basically, was pricey and we had to rush to finish because it was closing time. Maybe orders shouldn t be taken so close to closing?
Everything was so good and the waiters are sweet and nice! Great place for a shop
Been a regular here since they 1st opened. Feel bad Ive not reviewed before but after being on the receiving end of exceptional service which made it a special day for my sons birthday today prompted me to review. The food is always delicious, the coffee they nail every time and owners and staff are super nice. There is a reason they are always so busy. Thank you xx
Very nice spot for lunch, despite being very busy we were served very positively and seated within minutes, food and drinks were great and staff were polite
Very nice and pleasant place to relax, drink coffee and eat. Recommend Food
Great coffee and lovey variety of sweet treats too!
Visited faun yesterday.. we drove from coventry after hearing good things.. didnt disappointed..the place was busy with a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and a big portion. I had smoked salmon with creme fraiche, dill pickles and sourdough. My partner had a cheese toastie. Took a cruffin home which was amazing. Only negative was I like my coffee hotter. Definitely be back.
What a great find, walked past after our walk on the Malvern hills. Needed refreshments and a cake. Absolutely yummy. Not cheap but the quality was divine. A place not to forget and to revisit when in Great Malvern
We came here to celebrate a friends birthday, and were expecting great things having read the reviews. What a disappointment. As it was afternoon we wanted tea and cake, very limited choice of cakes. Tea selection was good, but was served in unattractive mugs! When I asked for a cup and saucer I was told they were all waiting to be washed up! On receipt of the bill which seemed rather high we were told the tip was included. The young lady serving us was very polite but may have tried harder to please had the tip not been included. There are other much nicer establishments locally serving tea and delicious cakes so we will not be returning
Great place to eat, really nice food, great atmosphere. Their menu is not too big really nice selection of food though, terrific pastries, wicked chai latte. Service had always been top notch. Popped down the road for a swig of Malvern spring water on way back tcar.
Loved it! Food was delicious and excellently presented! Definitely going again even though its a trek for us to get to. Amazing views and friendly staff too
We visited after a walk in the Malvern Hills, and it was amazing! Beautiful coffee and 10/10 cinnamon buns. Would return if we were back here on holiday!
Lovely coffee shop with friendly staff, lush cakes and lovely views if you sit correctly.
A bad start due to the welcome received by the person behind the counter making coffees. The menu and food were nice, but the atmosphere was pretentious. Food
Visited today for some lunch and coffee place look great but unfortunately food is bad had egg on toast with Bacon which was completely tasteless down to strange, oils or seeds don t advertise the fact that you use in local produce, and then mask the taste Very over engineered egg on toast And overpriced
Very regular customer, and I love it. Best thing for me, no matter the time or how busy, they never guilt you or make you feel bad for not booking, they always find a table swiftly. Plus food is delicious
We went as a group of 6. The waitresses were fantastic. Topnotch customer service. The coffee was excellent and the sausage sandwich was delicious. Faun is a little corner of food heaven. Highly recommend!
Me and my family live in Malvern and enjoy a coffee and sometimes a cake. We are made to feel welcome in most coffee shops but unfortunately I do feel that unless you are ordering food and drinks at Faun then you are made to feel like you are a bit of a nuisance and not really made to feel welcome. The food is overpriced for what it is.
Awesome food, coffee, service and ambience. Often very busy so patience is needed but definitely worth the wait.
Fabulous place to meet up with family post Christmas. Was so busy we had to stand and wait a while but was lovely cake and coffee. Cakes were rather large so maybe smaller and cheaper would be better for me.
Coffee was good, olives was astonishingly good. The meal was marvelous as well the Pain Perdu was spot on. Shame I forgot to take a picture of it. Was beautifully presented as well. Parking: On the road and fairly limited.
Most delicious bacon sandwich! Service was excellent.
First time eating at Faun today. Reserved a table and had a lovely breakfast. Everything as it should be and tempted by the cakes and pastries on the way out too. Will be back again soon.
Super nice place to have breakfast or lunch, lovely atmosphere and friendly stuff. Food was amazing too
Lovely service. Great choice of food. Amazing cosy atmosphere to be with the view of beautiful panorama of nature. Highly recommending.
Wonderful people , so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and a beautiful place to eat!
Usually very good indeed, but unfortunately last visit the tart was drastically over cooked. Very dry and nearly inedible. I did not complain, but told the waiter. He didnt seem at all bothered and said, I will tell the kitchen and walked away. We will go again, but after recommending Faun to friends preciously they are on probation.
Lovely place to grab a bite to eat. A little different. Friendly staff, great décor.
Great place. Lovely banana bread
Had THE best bacon and egg sandwich here this morning! Sorry, I didnt take a pic. Nice selection on the menu. Definitely recommend and would definitely visit again when in the area.
A very pleasant independent coffee shop that doesn t force its trendiness down your throat. Its just a really nice place to relax with friends over a coffee
Came for brunch. Lovely cafe - great coffee, reasonable sized portions but service was very slow and patchy - for example had to chase for cutlery.
Love going to Faun with my family! Its a weekly habit. Excellent food that are original and so delicious
OMG....breakfast sandwiches to die for!
Nice food, ambience and service. Would recommend.
Amazing lunch, mushrooms on sourdough and a side of black pudding... Wow
My husband and I stopped off at Faun for brunch and it was amazing! Lovely ambience. We had the sausage sandwich and chicken sandwich which were delicious and a vanilla cruffin (croissant muffin) which I highly recommend. Would go back again!
Do not miss the stunning homey custard cakes with your coffee
stopped off after a walk up North Hill. The croissant & pain au Chocolat was delicious with a decaf latte. Would highly recommend and will most likely have lunch on the next visit. Service was excellent as well.
Lovely hot chocolate and coffee. Look forward to coming back for lunch!
Lovelly and very helpful staff
Must have a Cruffin, they are delicious
Amazing cafe, food was absolutely delicious, best meal and cakes we have had in a long time. Sad that we arent local. Highly recommend.
Overpriced. Disappointing that this cafe refuses cash, which is still legal tender in the U.K.
Great cafe, excellent coffee and exceptional home made cakes and pastries. Dogs welcome outside. Friendly ,polite staff.
This is the best coffee and bakery around. I do not live in Malvern, but I am very happy to travel to Faun because it is Amazing!
Really tasty food and coffee. The bread was insanely good!
Best white tinned sourdough, amazing baked treats and local crisps.
One of the best cafes Ive found anywhere in the world! Lovely staff, nice atmosphere, and absolutely amazing food and coffee! Highly recommended!
Great service and amazing food and drinks - exquisite menu that really is a work of art. The passion of the owners is evident. The decor is comfortably trendy and there are large picture windows with views. Gets busy but worth the wait!
The food is top notch as always - todays visit was Syrian turmeric cake as ever, absolutely delicious! Coffee is good and usually great beers on tap and lovely local-ish wines.
Simply delicious! Everything they serve is great quality. A lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
Delicious Simple Supper . Excellent service and good atmosphere.
Pretty impressive to be fair. Nice welcome, good service throughout, really good coffee (vs the excuse for coffee you get at the brands). Its clearly upscale, with prices to match and they could up their vegan options a tad. But still would abs return to this quality cafe
Great coffee and lovely cakes
Food is delicious, service is excellent. Highly recommend
Excellent cafe for eating in and for take away. My go to place for Sourdough from their bakery. Pricey but worth it. Excellent Cruffins (a bit too excellent for my waistline).
Lovely little cafe, with fresh bread and pastries from Peter Cooks Bread. Service was good and dogs are also allowed.
We dined here at their midweek supper night Really nice meal, the supper menus have 3 choices (Probably to ensure fresh and local ingredients) so be sure to check the menu before you go which is advertised in advance there were 4 of us. We had Breaded Cod with Warm Tartare Sauce, Sauté Asparagus and two of us had the Grilled Chicken Breast Braised Butter Beans, Chorizo, Tomatoes & Black Garlic (GF) We also shared the cheesecake to finish. Nicely presented , tasty food. Id recommend this as somewhere to go something tasty and a local restaurant.
Most excellent
Beautiful atmosphere, lovely cake, lovely staff and great coffee
Friendly & efficient service & well prepared but slightly off-beat menu. Disappointed that my salad was a bit threadbare as l was told mayonnaise wasnt stocked.
Went in to try Wednesday s Simple Supper and it was great. We had planned to just have a Main course, but the food and service (from Eduardo) was so good that we ended up getting a Starter and Desert as well. The food really was very good - you could tell it was all fresh, decent produce that was cooked really well. As others have said, it s worth checking/keeping up-to-date with the menu before visiting, as this is updated frequently. Will 100% be coming again.
Great vegan options (especially the carrot ginger cake!)
Best coffee and freshly pastries baked on the premises dream of cafe we were on a stayover on the way home from Weymouth so was a treat to find such a gem with lovely staff !
Recommended by a friend. Fair prices good atmosphere but also not too loud. Food was delicious, I personally recommend a salad or cheese toasty for lunch. Also really pleasant service. Easy 5* review
Delicious cake and tea.
Amazing coffee, amazing cakes, great location and friendly staff. Only issue was one of the staff, who advised my coeliac wife that Oats are low gluten and there is no such thing as gluten free oats, which isnt accurate and we just wanted to know if the oat milk was gluten free of not... It wasnt a major issue but we felt that the staff should know the basic level of information when it comes to allergies. She was friendly and trying to help but just misinformed.
A lovely brunch with enough choices for my vegetarian, gf sister. All the family enjoyed their choices. Definitely have to book in advance as it is very popular.
Excellent food and service and lovely outdoor table. Felt it was a little expensive
Lovely coffee
The best cinnamon bun Ive ever had, plus a delicious burrata and magnificent hummus and bread. Would 100% recommend going to FAUN if youre visiting nearby
Some space for outside lunches plus plenty for inside. Staff are very nice and knowledgeable and helpful.
Served by a bald man with glasses in a very brusque and unfriendly manner. Had Strawberries and Cream-tasted of Onions. Partner had small, overpriced cake. Tea and coffee very average for price. Definitely will not be using this establishment again on our many trips to Malvern.
Very classy coffee and cake bar. Good food. Friendly staff.
I ve not actually eaten here yet but the place oozes class not just from the very sophisticated interiors, lush menu but the staff are amazing. I was visiting Malvern for a night and didn t have a microwave to sterilise my babies bottles and the guys there went above and beyond to boil up water , find a big ice bucket and put my bottles in to sterilise. Legends. I ll be back with the fam for brekkie
Sat outside with our small dog and very much enjoyed the delicious coffee here. Staff very pleasant, service good. The toilets were very clean.
Really good, amazing chai (coffee was good but not as good as abbey road). Food was interesting and delicious
There are 2 downsides to this amazing place, which are more personal grievances than criticisms. Number one, that I can only give them one Google review at a time! And secondly, its a 30 minute drive to go. This just means I have to write another (better) review and simply move to Malvern My wife and I came here back in April for simple suppers. Amazing, simple, very flavourful dishes. More elaborate words are not needed. Just a great menu overall. Fast forward to today, 2nd time round, taste of India simple supper menu. I didnt think it could get better than the first time, but to my delight, it did. Pork loin with chickpeas, and whole cornish sole with romanesco, both superb. Roasted Bombay potatoes were a highlight also, very buttery and well cooked as was everything else. It really captured the taste of India, but in a way that is far removed from your traditional Indian takeaway, which I hope is taken as a compliment. Dessert too, bitter chocolate tart with tahini cream, ever moreish after every bite, and cardamom Panna cotta with plums, very fresh and very surprising. Top this all with non-alcoholic cocktails, DEYA on tap (my lord!) and other local ales, the fact you can buy locally made products here like honey, jams, and chutneys and all the reasons that made our 1st visit memorable (great staff, great vibe, great location, great venue), its a safe bet that I will be eagerly keeping my eye on their next menu but still booking regardless of whats on it, as Im sure it will be as special as the times before! Also, very dog friendly Also also, did I mention they have DEYA on tap
Lovely cafe, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. The cruffins are Amazing! Good food so always busy
Amazing food, lovely people! Discovered this place coming down from a walk on the Malvern Hills. It was still open around 5pm (it was Wednesday) and whilst they were serving dinner and had long since run out of pastries they we happy to serve tea / hot choc and puddings from their dinner menu to some tired sweaty people. So glad they did. The puddings-chocolate tart with sesame cream and strawberry crumble- were so good we booked for dinner two days later on the Friday. They did not disappoint. The short menu allows each dish to be prepared with care. The burrata with roasted curried tomatoes was the stand out starter. Our party then had masala sole or pork loin with curried chick peas. There was a veggie option that looked good but we didn t try it. What we did have was delicious by common consent (we could not resist sampling each others dishes - good job we like each other!) Puddings were every bit as good second time round - with cardamom pannacotta and roast plums as the third option - also amazing. This seems like a new place (we re not local so don t know) but it deserves huge success. If you don t already know it we strongly recommend trying it!
Love the coffee and cake here! It s also beautiful to sit with a proper coffee and some amazing views of Malvern. My children can also vouch for all of the chocolate cakes and pastries : )
Lovely cafe amazing grilled cheese toastie and my partner smoked haddock pate with sourdough. The staff were very attentive and seemed happy which is unusual in most places today. Very popular we will be back
Went in for breakfast. Initially thought it was a bit on the pricey side but once we had eaten we all agreed the quality of the food was well worth it.
Absolutely brilliant spot for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Great coffee, family run with amazing views.
Have been there a few times now, the service is always good and the cakes are excellent.
One of my fave places to visit for brunch and coffee. Bakery presentation is lovely and the deli through the back always offers great treats (and plants!) Service is always great, too!
Came here today for lunch and the food served to us wasnt the same as what was described on the menu. We ordered the cheese toastie which the menu said came with a marinated tomato salad and it actually came with cherry tomatoes chopped in half with no marinade. We also ordered the shakshuka which the menu said was made with white beans and instead it had baked beans in it. We complained to the staff and they said there was nothing they could do. Its a shame as we have been here before and the food was nice but its like they are trying to cut corners now but still charging the same and not being honest about it on the menu.
Fabulous place. Traditional quick bites recipes, beautifully prepared and presented, with well sized portions. The gluten free bread is indistinguishable from the real one. Staff are polite and friendly, the place is bright and tastefully decorated.
Superb
Beautiful decor, amazing food, freshly baked pastries, honeyed bacon, nice staff, gorgeous location - we thought again about moving to Malvern after our breakfast here
Oh wow, this is my idea of heaven! So many delicious pastries and cakes to choose from. We came on a Sunday, it was so busy and I can see why! Next time Im definitely trying breakfast which looked fabulous. Can 100% recommend the cinnamon swirl and cuffin. Superb!
Absolutely brilliant cafe, restaurant, deli, bakery all in one!! Food is fantastic, staff cannot do more to help and offer a lovely smile and presence when you enter. Lovely outdoor seating and the simple supper we had was fantastic!!
Theyve just introduced light bites so I can now get my favourite sausage sandwich and not feel bad for not finishing it. As if this place couldnt get more perfect.
The best in the area, really
Nice rustic and slightly industrial atmosphere. Very good service. Slightly overpriced. Food was flesh and tasty however slightly poor in consistency. Bacon sandwich was just two pieces of bread with two pieces of bacon.
Perfect coffee Perfect food Lovely staff A find Food : 5/5 |
Hi , we have been going to Faun for over 12 months and have always found the food and service to be of a very high standard. Are they perfect , of course not but some of these 1 star reviews are hard to understand. Coffee strength and taste is subjective but I like my coffee strong and the Faun product suits me. Faun is not a fast food restaurant and I doubt its business model was written in with speed in mind. I dont believe Faun are expensive considering the quality of food and service they offer. On our last visit we had two double espresso coffees and my wife had a cake and the bill from memory was £7.00 From experience when I have heard customers complaining in other establishments people tend to become aggressive and annoy the staff. To conclude I understand that reviews used correctly work both ways.If you have read a poor review about Faun could I suggest you try them and make up your own mind as to the overall experience provided.
Through the summer holidays managed to visit Faun for some light lunch. Great coffee, tasty toastie and welcoming service.
Delicious lunch in the sunshine today. Very friendly and helpful staff, thank you for looking after us Ian!
Fantastic brunch. Everything made in-house with local produce. Has the shakshuka and a sausage & egg sandwich - both probably the best I ve ever eaten. Good coffee and pastries also.
Wonderful cafe with lovely coffee and food. Made fuss of our new puppies with treats too!
Popped into Faun (Bakery, Coffee Shop and Kitchen) in Great Malvern for a cinnamon bun and a cappuccino, both of which were excellent. There is plenty of seating indoors and out and it s dog friendly.
Great place for a coffee stop. Lovely style, friendly staff, good coffee and tasty cakes.
Good service. Nice food.
Nice place for coffee. Good service, great cakes, idiosyncratic decor. Would definitely go back Parking: Park in Waitrose!
Beautiful location with friendly prompt service, and delicious food and coffee. The decor is also warm and atmospheric.
We happened to find this wonderful place when looking for a dog friendly eatery. Dogs are definitely welcome outside. For a Sunday I was surprised how busy it was, the service was great and the staff were friendly. Theres a good selection on the menu; I can recommend the pumpkin and celeriac veggie roll and Venezuelan hot chocolate.
The best for miles around.
Visiting Malvern and popped by this morning and the place was busy, a good busy. Good to see people supporting a local independent business . We got a coffea, an almond croissant and a cinnamon bun. I have to say it was the most amazing bun Ive ever had. Crispy sweet outer layers and cinnamon infused soft inner dough. Will defo be coming back to try some more of the delicious pastries and the lunch menu.
Amazing food and great coffee.
Beautiful food, good portion sizes, lovely decor. Fresh ingredients, worth the extra penny
Good for coffee n cakes.
Good food with lovely Staff
Good food, quick and pleasant service. Not cheap though.
Great food with lovely Staff
We came to Faun every weekend in October- what a find! We have had lunch, coffee and cakes, and Friday dinner here. As a family of vegetarians, the menu was wonderful. The perfect place to go after a morning in the Malverns <3
Had what could possibly be the best Bacon sandwich Ive ever had and my boy was impressed with his jam donut. Service was excellent, especially considering how busy they were. Will definitely be returning soon
Lovely coffee and pastries.
The brunch menu was very appealing. The service was very good and the food was tasty. 24/11/23 - we had takeaway. Very busy shop but very delicious pastries and coffee.
What a delightful place! Great food and friendly people.
Great place
Faun was the venue for a wreath making class I went to with my bestie. The team were really welcoming, the venue is absolutely gorgeous with big windows and lots of wood furniture. Faun provided drinks and unique mince pies for our workshop, all delicious. I d never imagined an apple crumble topped mince pie, absolute genius
Good food, excellent service and great atmosphere
