The worst Chinese meal I’ve ever had, bland, lack of ingredients and had to wait 20 minutes for it. Give this place a wide berth.
First time visit ..Delicious take out ..generous portions ..the sweet & sour chicken balls were huge and the chicken inside was moist and tasty.. thankyou
We quite often choose this place when we don't feel like cooking and just fancy something awesome. Could recommend many dishes. Try the Pa-Po fried rice. They raise prawns on toast to another level! Top flavours. Not expensive.
On holiday meal very disappointing. Ordered a range of dishes and Hing Tai special rice. All dishes very bland in runny opaque sauce with some meat but lots of bamboo shoots and onions. Phoned up to state only had boiled rice not the special rice. Apparently is egg fried rice and meat comes separately. Isn't that just egg fried rice and another insipid dish. Chinese back home special rice includes beef, pork, chicken and prawn in a tasty flavour. Man on phone when politely complaining just repeated oh.
Many of the dishes are absolutely delicious. To name just a few: the spare ribs, sweet and sour chicken, chips in salt and pepper, Singapore noodles. Ideal when you just want some top nosh, efficiently prepared and at a very reasonable price.
Normally this place is top notch. As everywhere else was closed* we decided to go back here despite going here last week. *see other review about Plough and Harrow I had the same I have every time I go - beef curry and boiled rice - predictable old me. In a way it is a good thing.... 2 minutes later that was me *politely* in the bathroom. I did wonder why the beef didn't taste the Same. Sorry Hing Tai. X
Change of review. Last takeaway a poor experience 1 piece of pineapple in a sweet and sour. Pork was grisly. Not the previous ustandard. Will be going elsewhere.

The food is ok, and the service is very quick. However, Covid security measures have resulted in the place being very unappealing to visit, and it was freezing cold in the unheated waiting area.

I usually love this take away. We havent had one for a long while. Imagine my disappointment tonight that the chips were refried and tough to eat. I love Chinese chips normally but has really put me off. That said the rest of the food was good

Good food, reasonable price. Very quick service, lady at the front seemed lovely. Only had a chicken chow mein and sweet n sour chicken balls. Both were delicious and if it was my local Id happily order again.
The best of the 3 chineses in barnards green. I ve had better in other towns/cities, but this is consistently tasty, not greasy, and service is always spot on. The reason it drops a star is sometimes the crispy duck is a little hard (been refried) or they don t give much chicken in the chicken fried rice. Other times the duck is perfect and there is loads of chicken in a dish. Its just a bit hit and miss on quantity, but its always nice none the less. Far far far superior to wok and wroll next door, that place is utterly awful.

Worst take away in a long while. Singapore chow mien was hunt for the meat. Mushroom fried rice was tasteless. Spare ribs had no meat on either. I m going back to my usual place which is way better and less expensive.
Havent had a Chinese from here for a few weeks. Very disappointed. Staff that served me was rude. & very sarcastic was more interested in her mobile phone.

Fast service, delicious food, and while vegan options arent shown on the menu, the staff have a clear understanding of whats vegan-friendly. Id say this is unusual for a Chinese takeaway, so will definitely feel confident to get food from here again! Would be even better if the menu could reflect this.

Answered the phone straight away, polite and efficient. Food ready as soon as I walked in as promised. Clean and nice shop comfortable waiting area. Great price considering generous portion size and high quality which are the easily the best in Malvern. Parking right outside. Will be a regular customer.

Holidaying in Malvern, so chose a Saturday night takeaway from here. What a fabulous meal! Fast service. Big tasty portions, all good quality, good price. Will definitely come again when in the area!

Rice and noodles and curry sauce good but chips burnt and dripping with grease and shredded beef inedible.. shame as Ive been a lot before and they used to have the best shredded beef but now congealed, burnt and overdone and sauce smells off..

Favourite Chinese in Malvern, always quick and friendly and very delicious! The Chicken Curry and Ribs are a favourite.
No complaints! Foo Yung was better than average fayre among the other Chinese takeaways. Slightly less intense taste in some of the dishes than other places but not to the extent that it would prevent me going again.

Oh I love this place. Unsure if owners have changed but its been my first choice for the last 30years. Always had the triple crown saving my ginger till last, now veggie they add extra green chillies to my favourite schezhuan dish. Perfect every time
Average Chinese takeaway, big portions but lacking flavour for example Beef and black bean had identical flavour to the sichuan beef minus a couple of chilli pieces. Sweet and sour chicken was excellent.
