The only chipshop to visit in Malvern....best by a county mile.
Having lived in Malvern for 4 years, I've wanted to try this place for a while, but ended up returning to other chippies on main roads. However, I wish I'd been here sooner! By far the best I've had. Great food, very good prices, quick and plenty of on-street parking. We'll be returning!
There's almost always someone else waiting regardless of the time of day, which is a good sign for a chippy. They do a decent range of food, the food tastes great, the prices are not ridiculous (like other places), and the service is friendly and efficient. This is not our local but we wish it was.
Bloody perfect if you ask me! Would go every night if I could but suzen likes a Chinese on a Wednesday and that's gospel right there! Amen. 🙏
Chips were last bits so lots of batters and tiny overcooked scraps. Kebab nicely put together but the grease was excessive.
Staff very friendly. But unfortunately I don't understand the high rating. Our chips were old and dry. The sausages had been kept warm for a long time and almost hard ( should have been thrown away) also a lot of black bits in the chips, which should have been cut out. Expect a few but this was a lot.
You know what? They were busy. It was 12 and they'd just opened. There was already a queue of 4 in front of me. I wanted 5 meals. They did them really fast. I loved the fish and chips. Price was good. Top marks!
Having been pretty poorly last few weeks, my appetite came back and fish and chips was in order! Since discovering you are my local you are definitely the place to go. Service was great and all staff smiling and friendly. Ordered fish and chips with mushy peas and shared with my daughter. Absolutely delicious 😋

Very disappointed, wanted chicken meat and chips, yet didnt have chicken meat... so had to settle for just chicken breast and chips....... Chicken, was dry, hard and tasteless, chips seemed to get all the hard bits that noone ever wants....

Awful fish & chips. Soaked in grease, asked for lightly battered and the batter was like a pancake. Would ve been smarter to flush the £30 that we spent down the drain. Really just terrible.
Should stop using polystyrene containers. Cardboard or paper is better and more eco friendly.

Usually love this takeaway however today was awful. There appears to be a young girl in there today who I assume is a new trainee. She took our order and was absolutely clueless and didn t care to be there by her facial expressions. She didn t know what she was doing and we had to repeat our order but she still got it wrong. I asked for a mixed kebab with no salad due to being allergic to parts of the salad, and garlic Mayo to be on my kebab. Instead she puts ALL salad and normal mayonnaise. Therefore I could not touch my kebab. My partner asked for a cheeseburger with all salad and mayonnaise and she gets the salad, but gets my garlic mayonnaise. Which she doesn t like. Therefore awful service.

Unfortunately feel its gone downhill. Kebab order wasnt right when we got home - had ordered two chicken kebabs and ended up with mixed meat! Plus the sauces we had asked for were wrong too. Chips were also not cooked enough which was a shame. Wont be visiting again for a while until we hear better things.

We visited for the first time having heard many compliments and recommendations and they were not wrong. We were absolutely delighted initially by the cleanliness, then by the enthusiasm of the owner and staff.... The chips are fabulous, hand prepared from potato to presentation and the difference is evident in the flavour and texture. The fish, again, hand prepared, the batter delicious. Hand made mushy peas compliment the meal perfectly. All is presented in a sturdy box and bag, much better than flimsy paper which turns soggy and disintegrates. These were the very best fish and chips weve had in a long time. Definitely the best in Malvern.....so dont visit the Hills without stopping in, theyre well worth it.
