14 Worcester Rd, Great Malvern, Malvern WR14 4QS, United Kingdom
Circa-1810 inn featuring polished rooms, free Wi-Fi and a traditional pub.
Fabulous night stay. Room was large and exceptionally clean. Night manager Ben was very helpful and friendly. All in all excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend if able bodied as no lift due to being a listed building with quirky sloping floors which add to its character and charm.
Ordered the special chicken wings and strips, and the man behind the bar charged me full price from the main menu without asking if it was from the special card on the table. A difference of seven pounds! When my partner went to correct the mistake straight away he told her it was too late and he wouldn't refund the difference! Punishing the customer for a genuine mistake... Very rude demeanor from the start! Never going there again I'm afraid.
A few months ago, I wrote a review about a particularly negative experience with a staff member named Rachel. She was extremely rude when serving us our drinks, and when I politely addressed her behavior, she became aggressive, swearing and escalating the situation further. I remained calm and didn’t respond with any aggression. After the incident, I sent a private email to the manager, requesting body cam and security footage to document what happened. The manager even agreed that her behavior was unacceptable. However, rather than addressing the issue, they banned me for six months—seemingly to support their staff member despite her unprofessional behavior. The reason given was flimsy at best. Recently, I returned to the location, and the manager approached me to inform me that I was now banned for life, simply because I had shared my experience in an online review. Banning someone for honestly recounting their experience is absurd. In short, the place appears to be run by a close-knit group of friends who don’t tolerate any form of feedback, even when expressed respectfully. This handling of the situation feels incredibly unprofessional, and I’m shocked by the extent they’ve gone to avoid accountability. If anyone knows a regional manager or higher authority I can contact to escalate this matter, I would truly appreciate it. Thank you.
Went for breakfast. Ordered online from table everything arrived quickly. The food was hot, and only complaint was the toast was barely toasted. Tables needed to be cleared quicker as we had to move previous customers' dishes, etc.
The only two things good about this hotel are the wonderful view from room 4 and the disappearing view in the rear view mirror . A hotel run by inexperienced teenagers with little or nothing going for it. No lift ,|A breakfast that makes the food at McDonalds seem like the Savoy and staff that are inexperienced and lacking in basic customer care .I will never visit this hotel again even if they do manage to find a chef that can cook scrambled eggs and bacon !
We had an amazing stay at this wonderful hotel, that had striking architecture. Our room had a stunning bay window with a fabulous panoramic view! The room was huge, the beds were comfortable, we had two armchairs and everything we needed for our stay. Everything was spotlessly clean. All the staff were very helpful and attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. Furthermore, we loved the seated outside area that also overlooked the same beautiful view. Well done to the management team for running such a lovely venue. Will definitely be back again.
Needed somewhere quick and easy to have dinner after a day climbing the Malvern Hills and noticed a Wetherspoons at the top of town. Easy to park just down the road without having to pay to park. Very busy as it was a Saturday night, but also not too loud. Food and drink came up in the usual quick fashion, and was a good standard. Would return if/when we visit Malvern again.
Lovely pub in the Malvern hills with some beautiful views. The outdoor seating area, albeit nice, needs the floor relaying. A lot of the tiles are loose and this is a tripping hazard The floor inside also has dips where there is clearly damaged floorboards, and this could be a hazard also. The place is very clean and tidy including the toilets, the people are very friendly, the prices are great and the food service is quick. Your usual Wetherspoons with a beautiful view and would certainly come back for many more pints.
Great first time experience, even with the shortness of staff
Decent food at reasonable prices.
Superb place. Incredible building and great view
Popped in for a pint & burger...usual Wetherspoons fayre - get what you expect at a very reasonable price.
The usual Wetherspoons formula does a great job. Good rooms, reasonable prices and great staff. Thank you.
Never stayed in a Weatherspoons hotel before so was interested to see what it was like. We arrived and booked in the rooms were a good size and the bed was comfy, I found the room a bit warm. When we went for breakfast the following morning I was surprised it wasnt included in the cost of the room. Before we left I checked the room and found medication belonging I presume to the previous occupants which I handed into the bar as reception was closed. We chose this hotel as it was a hundred meters from where we were going but Im not sure I would stay in one again. Also despite being told there was free wi fi available I could only connect if I stood by the window as soon as I moved the connection failed. Rooms: Comfortable Food and drinks: Typical weatherspoons see photo
Lunch with work colleagues, food was good, however even though all ordered with 5 mins of each other at least 30 mins between first persons food arriving and last panini being served. However price for food and drink very reasonable.
The finest Wetherspoons in my opinion, of all the venues that I ve been to within the UK.
Wetherspoons. The scenery around Malvern is fabulous . The best place to park is the Belle Vue car park just over the road from Wetherspoons. There is a parking machine at the entrance. Wetherspoons had an Excellent terrace with fantastic views. Just need the summer. Rooms: Good value. Our room was £54 Walkability: Beautiful scenery Food and drinks: Excellent value
Very helpful and friendly staff, perfect place to stay we come back at least minimum once a year
Wonderful place... Good ambience Very recommended place Service
Really great attentive staff, which at times seems rare nowadays! The fish I had was overcooked and they cooked me a replacement. Very much appreciated Thank you. Hotel highlights Great value
Great location- right in the centre of everything, as usual with Wetherspoons! A paying car park yards away, or if you are lucky, a space in the road opposite the hotel for limited parking. Great breakfast menu, with of course the unlimited hot drinks makes Whetherspoons a go-to place time and time again.
Had lunch, and food and service were great.
Sharing others concerns regarding management and the way their Head Office palms off responsibility to the license holder. This isnt the wild west!
Had excellent Christmas meal yesterday, very tasty
Good value and excellent choice of beer
The Foley Arms is a large pub/hotel, with the usual emphasis on Wetherspoons value for money. There are lots of spaces to sit. Im not a fan of Wetherspoons at all, and the service can be slow at times, but you cant deny the value. The food is basic, and there are many more pleasant and characterful places to eat and drink in Malvern. Its probably worth four stars rather than the three Im giving it, but I think its just a bit too cheap for its own good.
We only visited for a drink
Stopped here for three nights, the hotel was lovely.
Cant review the rooms as I wasnt staying but as far as wetherspoons go this is easily one of the best Ive been in. Good ale and staff and a really good balcony with great views. Excellent
Wow. Pints at £1.99, a spectacular view from the outside area, App ordering, decent food... awesome!
This place has a Magical aura the server was actually amazing like the best I have ever had do lovely and considerate Kind regards Penelope pimplesniffer Rooms : 5/5
Lovely clean room. Bottles of water biscuits hot chocolate also on drinks tray. Only criticism is the noise from the road due to the old sash windows. Could do with internal glazing like more modern hotels.
Lovely views over Malvern hills
Rooms: Fine Food and drinks: Drinks fine good service Rooms : 5/5 |
A lovely hotel with wonderful views. Clean and spacious. Rooms: Rooms were pleasantly spacious and clean. Walkability: Shops and sights within walking distance Food and drinks: Wethersppon food and drinks are discent and affordable
There is no suitable disabled parking near the Foley Arms. It is situated at the top of a steep hill. Entry is via a rotating door which is also unsuitable for disabled users. Placing an order via the app is a simple, easy to use process and a confirmation email is sent straight away. The wait for drinks and food is quite lengthy and I would suggest more staff be engaged at weekends and during busy periods to speed up service. The staff they do have are very pleasant and friendly but obviously overstretched. When the food arrived it was nicely cooked, but lukewarm at best. Not the best Weatherspoons we have been to buy most certainly not the worst.
Friendly place, good bar staff and a cheap pint.
Best spoons visited so far
Lovely building
Great pub to eat in and drink . Food was good and services very quick .
Excellent experience
Beautiful view the food was great too. Really enjoyed our time here. Nearby activities: St Annes well. The 99 steps wow.. Will do again Rooms : 5/5 |
Great service and friendly staff
Pleasant!
TERRIBLE!!! absolutely no food, messed up an unbelievable amount of orders. Don t know what they have in stock. Stopped serving food for a whole hour. Got ID for not looking over 30 years old, ridiculous!! Have a rude barmaid was very unprofessional, didn t catch her name bit was blonde girl with a grumpy face, not happy at all.
Beer on tap was relatively local and g ood quality. Probably one of the best poons Ive been to. Service
Great food!! Friendly staff and really loverly building
Not used the hotel, but as a pub its excellent. Easily has the best views of the countless wetherspoons Ive visited. Nice and spacious, food always well cooked, staff are great, coffee machines always working and coffee is hot unlike in many spoons. Dont often leave good reviews, but this one is well earned.
Excellent location, very good food and drink at resonable prices. Staff friendly and helpful Food and drinks: Food and drink was very good and good value for money
Spoons with lovely views unless it s pouring with rain!
Regular watering hole for breakfast and fish & chips.
Wetherspoons consistently great. Not a regular Wetherspoons visitor but this one has a beautiful view, and as always really awesome prices.
Great location, a Wethy hotel, want to go back
Absolute rubbish meal. Steak grisly, the chips cold on both dishes. Complained to manager who said it was the fault of kitchen staff.
Always made to feel welcome. Excellent place to stop and chill, great views on a clear day. Service
Rooms: Clean and tidy. No different to a premier inn Food and drinks: Great value and good quality. Amazing views too Rooms : 5/5 |
A good place for a ride out, but be careful pulling in and out, the road is busy.
Lovely hotel with traditional features, beautiful views Rooms: Spacious, clean Nearby activities: Great walks, nice shops Great pubs for drinks and meals Safety: Lovely area Walkability: In a good location for access to the town Food and drinks: Good breakfast, food and drink all reasonably priced
A good located hotel, pub and restaurant within the town, food beer wine etc as normal with a Witherspoons outlet, great view off the rear balcony of the valley, never stayed here and not likely too but easy access to town for travellers due to its central location. Food and drinks: Food typical good not great pub grub
Usual Weatherspoons. Good service, great value. The beer garden at the back has tremendous views over the hills. Its not an upmarket Gastro pub but hey - its £11 total for steak and chips and a pint of nice beer!
Nice old building in a great location. Staff very friendly good prices and a lovely view from the beer garden at the back
Great views
Good Spoons. Nice location at foot of Malvern Hills. Good staff and very quick service. The hills are very close by. Nearby activities: Malvern hills, Malvern park, abbey church, theatre/cinema
Service often very slow as understaffed. Great pub tho and good prices.
One of the better Spoons. Food and drinks: Typical Spoons food and ale. Very good! Service : 5/5 |
Usually an alright Spoons, but this time I had ordered a pizza, waited over 30 minutes and eventually asked staff who informed me it was on the way. It had clearly been left on the side , forgotten, then reheated in the microwave, causing the pizza to be wet yet crispy. Not good. Halloumi fries and apple juice I had to accompany it were pretty good though.
Visited had breakfast almost every morning, our food was enjoyable no complaints
Unable to take dog on outside terrace after paying for parking.
Walkability: Very hilly all round not good if you have mobility problems Rooms
Did not stay had breakfast lovely place and has a great view over malvern
Standard wetherspoons, cheap but you know what youre getting. Views outside give it an extra star!
Great views and cheap bar prices. Nicely located
What a little gem this place is! Weve been holidaying in the malverns for years and have been past the foley arms many times but never been in,cant believe what weve been missing.stunning views to the rear of the hills, food and drinks dirt cheap(we had a 2 large mains,3 extras and 4 drinks for £27)service was impeccable and very quick, all staff were very friendly.would defo recommend and will defo be going back.10/10
Would have been nice if my steak had been cooked as ordered. However it was edible.
Reviewing the bar not the hotel. Well obviously the main attraction is the price and its a central location, downside was a couple of tables of loud well oiled people. In general a fair mix of people and a big enough place to find a quiet corner
Lovely views from the terrace
Best rooms Iv e stayed in for a witherspoons. Only down side is the price. £160+ double... Food and drinks: Just downstairs
Great location, friendly staff food was good value and very nice
Normal selection of wetherspoon drinks & food. Good atmosphere and staff
Staff were unprofessional, tables were seldom cleared. Difficult to get served at bar as limited staff would rather socialise with mates Room not secure as people were given access to our room and entered with their key card whilst our cards did not work. No apology from management for their shortfalls . The worse Wetherspoons we have stayed in.(retired couple). Rooms: Rooms at the back have great views. Some issues with the bath which had studs protruding where a handle had broken off. Keycard system failed with strangers entering our room. Not good!!!
Rooms: Cheap and cheerful Rooms
Its a spoons, so the food and drinks are cheap and the food is nice enough. However what is a real bonus to this place is the view from the beer garden wow!
The pub has nice views from the terrace and is in a very attractive building. Occasionally missing some condiments at the station (salt this time) but overall great value.
Friendly, comfortable, loads of space time of day depending. Quick food orders, great prices and happy faces! Have been so many times and consistently good food and table service for door orders. Superb spacious outdoor seating with spectacular views.
We stayed in room 17 - great views but right next to kitchen extract duct and fan starts at 6.30 in morning till 11.30 at night. Noisy with window open. Staff not friendliest - some would sat rude.
We recently met the staff Harry and Blake, both of whom were helpful, kind and welcoming. A big thank you again to Richard the manager who is always attentive.
Wonderful place to eat and drink. Great prices and exceptional views.
The service was horrendous they brought out one meal they forgot to cook the other meal when I paid for 2 and they messed up others peoples food as well !
Cheap and decent food, with good, friendly and quick service. Good beers and a great old hotel.
Good value. Extensive menu. Food and drinks: Good value. Free drink with food. Rooms : 5/5 |
Massive Wetherspoons pub spread over a couple of levels in an old hotel. There is seating on the patio out back too. Very popular with the locals. Good is okay and drinks good value. Order through the app to get table service. Look out for meal deals on steak night, curry night etc for better value food. They also have managers special meal deals listed at the bar.
Dropped into The Foley Arms for a beer after wandering about Malvern (as a tourist). Nice terrace at the back of the hotel, great service, but most miraculous of all, Ruddles beer for only £1.79 a pint. Other beers were similarly priced. If youre a beer drinker and youre in Malvern, I recommend The Foley Arms very highly.
Lovely location & staff n service grt. No change, as gud as always. June 24. Service
Spoons #185 We were not residing on the premises but would certainly consider it for another time. Views were amazing over the country side. Great service in this light spacious characterful building. Began as a hotel in 1810 and spoons took it over 200 years later Really friendly attentive staff. Well done spoons
Went for a quiet pint as I have for years with no issue. Staff member Rachel was extremely rude to me when challenged about her rude comment she started offering me outside, swearing in my face and banning me for 6 months. To note I did not swear or insult her back yet theyre all mates and came up with some stupid story to justify it. I requested body cam footage and CCTV yet they refuse to give it Ive seen people have fist fights there and be let in next week yet challenging staff for being rude gets you banned for life. Will be taking this to head office to get CCTV and any body cam Would only recommend going here if you wanna get insulted.
Walkability: Wheelchair friendly Food and drinks: The food was good and the price was good as well Rooms : 5/5 |
Visited for a drink whilst staying in the area for the weekend. Lovely seating area out the back to enjoy the views.
I visited the establishment but I didnt use the hotel. The staff were very helpful and the drinks were well kept. Well worth a visit. Service : 5/5
Great place ... lots of tables to drink and eat at .... as well as an outside seating area with great views ...
Food and drinks: Great value & quality Service
Usual excellent value Weatherspoons in a superb location in a great town.
Amazing view. Coffee had weird after taste.
Went up on Friday night, very busy and only 1 member of staff serving on the bar when we arrived. Customers were getting frustrated queuing at the bar as guests were being served out of order. Queued for about 20 minutes before 2nd member of bar staff arrived. Think he was frustrated at being thrown in at the deep end, as he had some serious attitude. Took 20 minutes to get 1st drink. There were no clean empty tables, we had to clear table before we sat down. We then resorted to the App to order food and second round of drinks. This time the service was much quicker. Food this time was really good, and nothing got sent back, which was a very pleasant change from previous experiences.
Typical Wetherspoons pub. Quality Ales. Food good for the price. Lovely outdoor area ( non smoking) with fantastic views over the Severn Valley. Polite and friendly staff.
Great spoons.
A fantastic location for a weatherspoons. The Foley has a beautiful balcony with a great view over Malvern. The food always comes out quickly and the staff are very friendly
Great location with fantastic views. Excellent food and drinks. Friendly staff and a great range of food available. Two lovely terraces overlooking the Malvern valley. There is a carpark to the rear. Definiitely recommended for a stay in Great Malvern.
Wetherspoons. Great ales. Lovely, friendly staff. Nearby activities: Near the Malvern Hills - Great for walking. Malvern is a charming town with a historic priory and nice shops. Walkability: Walkable from the train station Food and drinks: Quality ales
Anyone that knows me knows Im a wetherspoons fan. But ones like this in picturesque settings just top the list. The food was very nice and good value as were the drinks. But the view was the show stealer. This one is a jewel in the wetherspoons crown Location
Great views over the Worcestershire countryside
Comfortable with nice outdoor space and lovely views.
Great pub in a great location. Good food too.
Brilliant atmosphere, thriving public house
As it sez on the tin great value nicer one of wetherspoons.
Stopped overnight at The Foley Arms last weekend after attending an ABBA tribute event. The room was acceptable, clean and tidy but tired and in need of decorating. The reception desk was unmanned and we waited ten minutes after ringing the bell for attention to book into our room. Eventually, another couple who were also waiting, went downstairs into the bar to get a member of staff to attend to us. And then In the early hours of the morning, there was a loud commotion outside in front of the hotel. I watched from the window, as a stolen car which had been used in a burglary at the Santander bank screeched to a halt when it lost its haul out of the boot onto the road. Three men got out of the car to retrieve the stolen loot! More Keystone Cops than an organised heist. After an eventful night, we tried to get a few hours sleep only to be rudely awakened early in the morning by a member of staff throwing empty bottles one by one into a recycling bin right under our bedroom window! Yes, we were unlucky, and there were events that were out of the control of the Hotel Management, but at no point were we given an explanation or apology for our very noisy stay. Sadly, although we loved Malvern, the stop over was not something we would repeat again in a hurry.
Just dropped in with a group for coffee and breakfast. Excellent service and helpful, friendly staff. All you can drink coffee and the food was very good and all at prices that make the other places in town look really expensive - keep up the great work!
Great prices and a superb view.
One of the nicest weatherspoons Ive been in
Had food and drinks, exactly what you would expect from a weather spoons. Great views if you can get a window seat at this time of year. Nearby activities: Great foot a walk up the Malvern hills
I like this place. Reasonable food and drink at cheap prices. Great outside in the summer on the balcony Food and drinks: Cheap and reasonable
Great old boozer. Massive inside and has two large outdoor areas. One upstairs to the other downstairs. Staff were good, they cleaned tables regularly so well done for that. Prices are spot on for a Wetherspoons. I enjoyed a pint for £ 1.97 . Unbelievable in todays cost of living crisis.
Quick service, probably the cleanest witherspoon we have been in.
not really my thing but service was amazing
Pre-theatre pint and a curry for under £10. Exactly what you expect from a spoons! Beer was very good (Doom Bar)
Took ages to get served nearly left food average small portions
Staff great but food was cold
Great value food and drink.
Regrettably, my recent visit to The Foley Arms Hotel in Malvern, a part of the Wetherspoons family, left me disheartened. Witnessing the abrupt eviction of an octogenarian, a loyal customer for over two decades, has cast a shadow over the establishment. The purported ban for life appeared to stem from a personal vendetta, rather than any justifiable cause, raising concerns about the current managements decisions. Sir Tim Martin, the founder of Wetherspoons, would likely be dismayed by such actions. To restore the good name of this Wetherspoons location, a reevaluation of the management may be necessary, aligning decisions with the principles of inclusivity and customer satisfaction that have long defined the brand.
Good location central to restaurant & shops, rooms are comfortable and clean. The long stay parking is about a 4min walk away. Walkability: Will come back and visit again. Food and drinks: Lovely breakfast and food good prices as always at weatherspoons.
Great service and banter with the staff. This location is one of the very best myself and my good lady have seen in a Spoons. It is probably the first time I have walked past the bar and admired the view first.
Ok for a Wetherspoons
Shame because this wetherspoons has a great view and in a fab location. But staff lacked any sort of enthusiasm for the job they are paid to do. Hot drinks machine was empty and no one seemed to care. We always support wetherspoons wherever we can, but Malvern let us down today
Meal very good. Service excellent. Service
Broad range of beers, and excellent food at sensible prices. Lovely garden terrace overlooking countryside as far as Cheltenham, and if you stay in its cosy and quiet. Never too busy. Lovely atmosphere. Walkability: Close to Malvern Theatre and a short drive away from lovely walks on the hills. Its in the centre of Malvern which is picturesque. Close to Malvern Priory which is well worth a visit. Food and drinks: Good range of drinks and very competitively priced food. Food served until at least 9pm possibly later. Lots to choose from whether youre very hungry or not!
Great place to stay as central, affordable and some of the rooms are huge. Eating in the pub is ok as food is quick to arrive and good value. Downsides are lack of parking or any grounds other than a smoking area. Update: stayed here again at short notice on Sunday night. Helpful staff, food quick and nice room was not lacking anything.
Great place to stay in centre of Malvern. Perfect for 2 night stay. Downstairs bars are typical Wetherspoon. Our room was spacious clean. The building is very old and clearly needs refurbishing at some point in the future but for now it s perfect value for money with views to die for, if you get the rooms facing to the back of Hotel. Found the staff helpful and lovely. Food is what you expect from a Wetherspoon. Cheap cheerful and great breakfast s. Parking is a bit complicated but we did some swapping around car park s to overcome the challenges. Along the road on opposite side to Hotel is free parking from 5pm to 9:30 am after that you have a choice of 2 hrs max stay parking (£1.40 per hour)within a stones throw but if you are staying more than 1 night you will need to take a drive down to the 24hr car park (£3.40 for 24hr) which is a ten minute walk back up hill. Parking cost us less than £5 for the whole weekend. Will use again. Locally we used the restaurant opposite Nepalese which was good. 2nd night Ask Italian was great. We spent evening in the Unicorn pub opposite which was very welcoming with a band on most weekends. Great weekend.
Just popped in for a couple of drinks after a busy day, great location and very reasonable prices for drinks. Food and drinks: Drinks very reasonably priced and the food coming out looked lovely.
Big room, huge comfortable bed, snuggly duvet. Clean, plenty of hot water. Tea/coffee/water replenished daily. Great view, great location. Helpful, friendly staff. Had breakfast for less than £17 for the two of us. Another great value Wetherspoon Hotel Rooms: Huge room, all the things we needed in it. Walkability: Central location, easy to get to everywhere we wanted to. Food and drinks: Breakfast for two under £17 and still great quality and portion sizes
Malvern is a lovely place to visit and lucky to have it relatively close to us. Great for walks and some lovely shops. We always go to the local weatherspoons for a drink and the place is fantastic, love the decor and building. Drinks cheap and you know what your getting food wise. Service
Hardly anything available from the menu. Oil used to cook burger needed changing and left an unpleasesnt taste on the food. White wine bought in error when rose ordered. Server took away to replace and bought back what was quite obviously the same wine with a little rose wine added. Tasted awful and looked nothing like pink. Left wine so waste of money . Our first visit to this spoons and not impressed at all. Others take much more care of their customers. Food and drinks: Nope. Old oil. Nasty tasting buttermilk burger
We stayed in a lovely room overlooking vistas of Malvern and surroundings. Rooms are separate to pub, with excellent in room facilities. Great location in the heart of the town. Definitely would stay there again if in the area. Rooms : 5/5 |
I didnt stay in a room. Its a nice pub but they ran out of food and after changing my order 3 times to be told they didnt have it, I left and ate elsewhere.
My comments are in regards to staffing and management. I have visited here on a few occasions and it seems as if the service is getting worse. There never appears to be enough staff to handle the bar and serve food. On my last visit the food was delivered cold to my table and had to be sent back. The manager appears to not really understand how to run or even distribute staff appropriately in a large pub. He was also dismissive when a staff member approached him regarding an issue. There is also a lack of urgency to clear tables and make sure customers have what they need. The only positive was that the toilets were exceptionally clean.
Great pub. Nice a warm from the elements. Very affordable drinks as well.
Staff are friendly and very helpful
Affordable quality and value for money. Great selection of products for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had a chicken jalfrezi. Good taste and spicy. Excellent garlic nan bread and two poppadoms. Rice was good too. Drink. Mug. Just help yourself to the free refills on the coffee, tea and hot chocolate machine. Price £1.02 per mug. With free refills. Dec 2023. Highly recommend visiting there for value and good service. Toilet. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor. Ask a member of staff to open the door. Otherwise the location is down the stairs. Gents on the left side and ladies on the right side of the stairs.
Nice atmosphere, lovely view from the terrace, good food & drink.
Just popped in for cheapy dinner after being at the cinema. Lovely fish and chips and a curry.
Lovely place but it needs more going on like music and pool tables 2
Good food non plussed staff. Very poor housekeeping. Half the bar covered in empty glasses and cups. Multiple tables left uncleared or wiped. The whole building in need of a deep clean. But the food was lovely.
Stayed there Saturday in the hotel Had to wait at the reception desk for 30mins as nobody manning it when when down to bar to ask if anybody was available for booking us in was told we are very busy and short staffed someone will be there when we can. Later on in bar ordered a drink on the app and yet again after 30 mins no drinks asked one of the waiting staff where they where and was told probably on the bar and yes when went to the bar there they where just sitting on edge of bar with 5 other trays of drinks do just took them off there. At 1800 decided to have some food went to order at bar as didn t want to use app and was told that they are not doing food for a couple of hours as they are to busy and need to catch up Will not stay or go there again totally shocking service
Was a bit skeptical about staying here but turned out to be absolutely amazing. The views are extraordinary and of course the pub food and drinks help. The rooms are large, comfortable, and quite well kept. It is certainly a bit of an uphill walk from the railway station but other than that, right in the middle of town with many things to do and right next to trekking paths if youre planning on exploring the hills.
We ate but dont need to stay as were local Food and drinks: Nice as ever Service : 5/5 |
Good value for money
Nice 1
Great meal when the other pubs in town werent open for serving food
Nice
Quirky old school hotel with a weatherspoons pub included Our room was huge warm and comfortable, the floor was interesting as it sloped quite a bit in some places Great breakfast with prompt service and friendly staff, great value in all and a brilliant location in the centre of Great Malvern
Beautiful views from the deck. Cheap, good food, interesting and beautiful building.
I like eating spoons
Food good service good price good staff excellent
Food and drinks: Normally good service. Basic cheap food. This is not a place to go for a special night out. Service
