The most delicious Induan cuisine. We had the Murch Whali Murgh Chicjen dish with Pilau rice and Chapatis, just divine. We have booked to go back just after Christmas for a treat. Highly recommend.

Best Indian I have ever been to! The chicken is beautiful and extremely tender. Recommend the Jhinga Massalla for starter, Vishnu was our waiter for the evening and he was extremely attentive and knew the menu inside out. Cannot recommend this place enough

Food: 11/10, the food we had here tonight was the best I have ever eaten. I have had Indian cuisine all across the UK and the Anupam in Malvern is most certainly the highest quality food I have tasted. Recommend the harra massi chicken to start and the Reshmi Jhinga as a main course along with the Dewson sauce. Service: The service was nothing other than exceptional! We were treated like royalty from start to finish! Vishnu our waiter was fantastic, he knew the menu inside out and guided us to the best dishes tailored to what we like. Obee was also fantastic! Atmosphere: The seating areas and tables are professionally laid to a very high standard that is not something you would usually notice in most restaurants! The vibe is very relaxed comfortable which when accompanied by the top notch service and quality of food, is un-matched anywhere else I have been. Will most certainly be returning!!! 100% recommend!

So glad I found this place. Midweek dining alone. Best Indian Ive had for a long time. Chicken with coriander & mint cooked in a tandoor to start Dalloshi chicken - lots of onions, cumin & tomatoes - so good I would have had it again. Naan - piping hot with ghee Cobra on tap Service & staff excellent. Hot towel on arrival and hot towel with hand creams at end. Well worth the £s - may be slightly cheaper elsewhere but you more than get what you pay for here.

Firstly, the people and the service here is top notch. Incredibly polite servers and waitresses who took care of our every need. The service was also very fast and food came out quickly. The food was very flavoursome and portions were good, but considering the price, it was a little oily and some of the dishes we had were a little disappointing such as the dansak which was very sweet without the spicy flavour- disappointing considering the price paid The oiliness of the food made it quite heavy and therefore didn t feel great at the end of the meal The naan we had was very good however and as were the starters and drinks. Good food with lots of options, but nothing to write home about. Fantastic service.

Cant sing high enough praise for the food and service. Top notch lunch menu. Hot towels to start. Poppadom with lime pickle, fresh onion, mango chutney and raita. Three chicken tikka marinates. Cant remember the name of curry but it was the first on the main menu. Creamy, coconut, cashews, chillis, chicken and rice. More hot towels and hand cream. All for £17! Beer was superb too and quite reasonably priced. Impeccable service. I wanna go back but its 120 miles away. Treat yourselves.

Went for a meal with 18 ppl. The staff were very accommodating, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely. They adjusted the menu to our needs as we had mixture of palates. The restaurant is clean, even the restrooms are kept in good condition. Definitely recommend

Excellent Indian restaurant in the centre of Great Malvern. I have been eating there for over 30 years and the food has been consistently superb throughout that period. Excellent specials and a great regular menu. The takeaway menu is really good value with generous portions and a 10% discount. One of the best restaurants in Worcestershire - my house guests insist on an Anupam meal whenever they visit!

Excellent helpful service with a smile. Nice to have a specials menu alongside the normal. A good variety of unusual dishes as well as the normal. Would ve been nice to have a small salad with the onion bajee but this is only a minor moan! Really great restaurant

We had a takeout last night, sadly the two curry types tasted very similar and the sauce was very thin, chicken in my opinion was over cooked , very disappointing it was quite expensive.

.Prestine restaurant which is very smartly decorated. Excellent quality food, fresh quality produce no additives and no added sugar (unlike so many Indians now adays- dont know why add sugar to curries and calling napalesw?!#@?). Definitely worth the extra money. We alao have had rakeaways which are cheaper than eating in. Tried all Indian takeaways in the area and this is best. Eaten in restaurant also and the service is very good and relaxing atmosphere.

A fabulous curry house. Definitely on the premium side of things so a little more expensive but food is excellent as were ambience and restrooms were like a 5 star hotel. A great place to eat for a pre theatre meal.

Reasonably quiet this evening in understated venue. Spaciius first floor restaurant. Excellent service from start to finish. Coats taken on entry. Comfortable seats, ambient table oil flame, food well presented over tea-light warmer and distinct flavours in 4 courses finished with Gulab Jamun and ice-cream, always a favourite, with cobra alongside. Late Valentines outing for two while visiting Great Malvern.... £82 plus tip. Well worth it.

We went here for dinner after reading a lot of really good reviews. We were not disappointed! The restaurant is on the first floor, above some shops in the main Street - not too hard to find. The atmosphere was very nice, quite classy and up market without being at all stuffy. The staff were really nice and helpful, and the food was just fantastic. The choices are quite varied, not standard UK Indian menu stuff. We had the vegetable Nashilee and aloo saag chana. Both were really tasty, especially the Nashilee. We had halwa for dessert which was also really good. This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in the UK, very highly recommended Vegetarian options: They have a separate vegan menu available on request.

Dissapointed we have been to this restaurant before and loved it. Sadlay not so this time we had gone for my Husbands birthday Service slow and not attentive. It seemed that obviously the very regular customers got attention but not others. My food was luke warm which I did say to a member of staff about it but nothing was done. Not the best any more

If I could leave zero I would. It cost £55 and it was disgusting, tasteless no seasoning zero effort and borderline inedible. We tried them thinking it would be good because of the premium pricing but it was awful. Such a waste of money. Having moved into the area we are trying all the local takeaways and so far this restaurant has been the worst.

Best Indian in all Malvern and Worcester. My measure of a great Indian is the pickle tray. Lime pickle, onion salad, mango chutney with pieces of mango... perfect. Its so hard to find one with a proper pickle tray. Often busy, even on weeknights, so you should book. Food

Dont often give 5 stars, but this place fully deserves all 5. The food is quite exceptional and, although the restaurant was full, the service could not be faulted. The Ghurkhali Chicken was something to savour, and the Naan breads are the lightest in town. We are returning this week with the mother-in-law, and if shes happy, the restaurant can make a true claim to greatness.

Tucked away in quaint Malvern. Perfect service as always (have been visiting for over 5yrs) delicious food & relaxing atmosphere.

We went for a pre-theatre meal, having not been since before Covid. We had forgotten how good it was, in fact I have to say it was the best meal I have eaten there, (Chicken Passanda) . No photos as we ate the lot! Staff are lovely and attentive. They put themselves out to serve efficiently and promptly. We will be back soon.

This is a big favourite when in Malvern. The food is always delicious. I have the chicken shashlik and peshwari naan. Best shashlik I have ever had. It is my favourite dish, so I have eaten plenty. Soft a tasty naan bread as well. The rest of my party had a combination of dishes and all the plates were cleaned. The service was a super, and they were good with food allergies! If you are building up an appetite after climbing hills or just want an outstanding curry, this is the place to be! It is understandably popular so book ahead to avoid disappointment. Dietary restrictions: Very careful and knowledgeable staff.

A most relaxing , professionally served, and polite, service, to a three course meal. It had cost, however it was worth it and the straters were value for money on their own for a snack. Cobra Draught Beer and other lagers, on tap and bottle and quality wines were on offer also. a great evening out for a couple and well -behaved children . I seem to remember my brother had used this , and thoroughly enjoyed the experience many years ago. the current management have put a lot into it. Watch the staicase - but- there is a luxury lift and rest-room (USA expression )facilities. There is a view of the path to the Abbey form the restaurant windows, with tables by them -a thouroughly anbient experience. Er - the bill? moderate for quality. -Thats up to you and how much you have . One main course is usually enough for me except when Im hungry. Mild curries and English are on the menu . It is best to BOOK your visit. (Otherwise an active Henry could be expressing his function - ). Vegetarian options: They are on offer by request

Such a rare thing to find somewhere with a proper pickle tray these days. Onion salad, mint yoghurt, mango chutney and, most important, lime pickle. The food here is good but service can be slow on busy nights. We waited an hour just for our starters. Leave plenty of time and make sure you go with good friends!

Service was brilliant for a Saturday night (was restricted for time due to a show at the theatre). The food was bland though. Asked for a spicy masala which I was told was madras heat, no heat at all and was pretty boring. Wife s curry was the same, pretty dull. Bread and rice were really nice, starters were ok.

We had it delivered tonight, it was way too much earlier than we had booked, £5 cost of delivery too Ok, we have used anupam in restaurant and out for years, we live in Malvern. Today the food was over spiced. even korma was. Too much spice in the duck special. sorry sadly wont be repeating. Goodbye.

I hadn t visited Anupam for many years, recalling it as a fine Indian restaurant. Upon my return to Malvern, I chose to dine there with a friend. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The waiter s behaviour was peculiar, bordering on rudeness. His remark that a Jalfrezi was what you people eat, followed by a dismissive comment that it wasn t a choice for Indians, was off-putting. I opted for a Madras instead, but the entire meal was underwhelming. The Madras resembled a watery soup, containing merely four pieces of chicken. It was, without a doubt, the worst curry I ve ever had flavourless, lacking in spices and heat, and reminiscent of eating bland soup. I ve decided not to revisit.

Food was delicious I never had before thank you for all staffs and see you on next time.

Dined in and have regular takeaways. Never had a bad meal. Portions sizes are good and theres always a good variety to choose from. Really pleased they have different fish dishes as most Indians only offer prawns.

Quality menu choices and a well spaced dining room, nicely decorated and presented. Good mix of traditional and specialities.

My wife and I have recently moved back into Malvern. Since returning my wife has been saying lets try Anupam again. Instead we ve tried Bay Leaf and Flute Signature for takeaways and they were poor. I went to Anupam last night. To be fair to the chefs it was very busy. When I got the food home it was virtually unedible. The chicken tikka starters, onion bargees and Shish kebabs were very dry, not tasty, and tepid. My nan bread was cold and chewy. My chicken jalfrezie contained no sign of a chilli. It was literally loads of dry textured chicken in a gravy, that tasted of half raw stale onion minced up. We threw most of the food away. Such a disapontment. The staff were great as usual but I wont return.

We dropped in on the spur of the moment after a lovely afternoon in Malvern. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the health and safety was impeccable. The food was absolutely amazing with a great choice of dishes. We would definitely recommend anyone eating here and we will be returning there soon.

Takeaway food was bland and watery - it was like someone had lost the keys to the spice cupboard. Wont be ordering from here again. Not worth the money spent on the meal. There was so much leftover BC none of the dishes had any flavour or at least any spice to them, considering I had vegetable byrani and Bombay potatoes which are meant to have spice to them. It left me completely unsatisfied.

Excellent value and choice for Sunday lunch. Superb food at anytime....this evening was lush....

Visiting the local theatre we found the nearby restaurants were all pre booked. We found Anupam off the main street up ai flight of stairs. Despite the restaurant being really busy we were made very welcome and a table found for us. Service was impeccable with loads of staff all doing their best to help. Food was very good indeed with the boiled rice the fluffiest ever. Great service. Great food. Highly recommended.

Service was great! But unfortunately the same can t be said for the food - we had 4 totally different dishes that all all looked and tasted the exact same. It was very disappointing. The onion bhajjs were also very soft on the inside and not the best.

Really great evening. The restaurant was well presented, with starched table linen and lights and the front of house staff were without exception invisible yet attentive. We menu offered a different range of dishes in addition to many of the regulars and was well above average.

Great restaurant, good service and great food.

Many years ago this was a nice place to eat but now it is frankly terrible. This is the second takeaway I have ordered from here this year and both have been tasteless and bland. The chicken shashlick looked like it had been boiled next to no sign it had been anywhere near a grill and the garlic naan was lifeless and undercooked and just tasted of very over powering raw garlic the masala sauce side tasted of nothing, I tried some of my friends food and that wasnt much better this will be the last time I order food from here.

Jointly decided with the Mrs. to go here for a late lunch/early dinner during our day trip to the Malverns. Good food and unpretentious, calm and pristine ambience. Friendly service and reasonable pricing make this joint a really good one not to miss if around here. Glad we took this decision.

Ordered a takeaway on new years eve (at around 2pm), for collection at 8pm. On arrival there were 14 other people waiting and I had to wait for 30 minutes. I wouldnt have minded so much but when I got the takeaway home, I found that the food was lukewarm and I was given incorrect naan breads. I appreciate that they gave us a bottle of cobra beer as compensation, however I wouldve preferred a hot meal with the right naan breads. I also understand that it was a busy evening and they had apparently overstretched themselves, as they had over 700 takeaway orders but I believe the quality of my takeaway order reflected this.

Ordered and paid for take-out on their website, which was quick, easy and we were able to select our required collection time slot. The food was ready on time, very well packaged to keep it warm on our return home. Collection was easy and safe, which is essential in these difficult times. And to top it all the food was delicious. Just ordered a delivery. Gentleman in the phone was wonderfully polite and the service great! Delivery driver was equally as polite and friendly. Food was piping hot and myself and my son throughly enjoyed it. There is something on the menu for everyone. Would love to see some desserts like kulfi ice cream or halva or falooda. Don t normal order take away but this is defiantly my go to place now !

Totally recommended if you want a good curry. When we arrived, lots of people were getting their takeaway. The place was full when we got up stairs. Having eaten many, many curries across the UK, this was great.

Really good food, even prepared stuff that wasnt on the menu for me. I have never farted as much in my life as I did the day after eating there. Incredible.

We enjoyed an excellent evening at this restaurant. A modern, clean and comfortable space with plenty of room between tables. We chose starter and main course from the daily specials which were well cooked and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Really nice food, well cooked and presented. Friendly staff. Had to wait a bit longer than I would have liked for drinks, but it was a busy night!

Not the cheapest of Indian restaurants but really worth it. Excellent food and Staff very attentive, will definitely go back.

Anupam is the best Indian restaurant I have been in. The whole experience was brilliant. Very clean place and the food is excellent. I am definitely recommending this place. If your in the area I would absolutely recommend it if you like curry.

Fully deserves the ratings it s getting. Had assumed it was because Great Malvern is a small town, but this place is a gem. It s the classic British Indian restaurant, with the quality of food and service to back it up.

We had a very good vegetarian meal at Anupam. The ambience was really nice and the staff were great. The food was quite light and fragrant, but not bland - the dishes we had werent as rich or intense as weve had elsewhere, but the flavours were very good. We thought the Bhindi Bhaji was especially delicious.

First time back at Anupam for a couple of years. The excellent standards remain. Friendly and attentive staff, food that is beautifully cooked and full of flavour. Im gutted I live over 100 miles away. The best Indian restaurant.

Best possible service, polite and well informed staff. Food of the highest quality, the restaurant is very comfortable with the best table linen. One of my all time top 5 curries since my first experience in 1964.

Excellent service and great food

Very poor. Onion bhaji starter clearly had just been warmed up, soft and bland. My main was adequate but two friends left theirs, one was a bhuna that was tasteless. All food was warm and skinned over, the pilaw rice looked like it had been standing. The nan bread was very good though. At £145 for four people (inc drinks) I thought was a bit of a con. Maybe they were just having a bad night.
