The dam places was cold and the food was rotten never will I eat out of this places again yous need to fixs the windows the cold coming threw was really bad and no heat on in the places
POOR!!! After our order arrived over an hr after the said order was on its way it arrived and each and every item item was cold. Not one item was edible as contained rice and chicken. Shame that £50.20 was wasted on poor quality food. The poppadoms tasted stale, the naan bread where stodgy , rice clumped together and all dishes cold . It all went in the bin and upon calling refused any refund. Will not order from here again!
Pre-ordered at 2:30pm for a 7:30pm delivery. Rang at 7:05pm to check they had received my order and was told the food was on its way. Rang again at 7:45pm and I was told again the food was on it's way. It did not arrive until after 8pm and the food was freezing cold, the poppadoms were stale and the naan bread was also cold and very stodgy like it wasnt even cooked. Rang the restaurant to complain and was told the food was hot when it left the restaurant and there was nothing they could do. Will not be ordering from here again.
Prr Ordered at 14.30 at 19.05 they said it was on the way they are 10 mins away from our house after 8.10pm to come FREEZING COLD and then after ringing complaining they told us it was hot when it left the restaurant so it's not there fault...complete liars and horrible food never will I order from this horrible place ever ever again!!!!
Visited the restaurant last night and had the eat in banquet deal which cost £12.95 each. This included, poppadoms and chutney, starter, main and rice or naan bread. Was great value and the food was delicious. I had the Goa Garlic Chicken, my son and husband had chicken bhuna and my other son lamb bhuna. For starter we had onion bhajis, sweet chilli chicken and tandoori chicken. Also had pilau rice and garlic and peshawari naans and ordered 1 extra side dish of bombay aloo. All of the food was very tasty and we enjoyed very much, would definitely recommend. Service was very good and friendly. Non alcohol drinks are served and if you want alcoholic drinks, you can take your own in.
We're staying in an Air b&b around the area and had our order delivered. So impressed, the food was lovely and arrived very hot even after the driver got a bit lost (not his fault, sat nav couldn't find our accommodation) Very tasty indeed! I had a butter chicken that was sweet and flavourful and my fiancé had a garlic chilli chicken that was really spicy, which he said it was how it should have been. We definitely recommend!
I'm really not happy. I paid for lamb vindaloo with extra mushrooms total £11:80. I reveiced vindaloo sause with maybe 5 mushrooms in it When i called to complain, I was told I ordered mushroom vindaloo. Well...if I'd ordered a mushroom vindaloo, I'd be less than pleased too! No apology. They just argued with me. And every other curry house in Malvern serve better food
Ordered on just eat, absolutely amazing quality and lovely! Driver was so nice, polite and just positive overall! Absolutely lovely service and will definitely order again! Portions are the perfect size for one person honestly don’t need any bigger or would be throwing loads away! Left very full after a korma, rice and naan!

After reading reviews online, I thought Id try this take away for a change. My order came to £27.80 which included £1 delivery. I had a starter of Tandoori King Prawns at a cost of £4.95. That consisted of just 2 prawns and a load of onions! My main meal was a Tandori mixed grill costing £9.95. It was luke warm. I had to put it in my microwave to heat it up. My wifes meal wasnt much better. Her Malayan Lamb Biryani consisted of a couple of pieces of lamb, filled out with a huge amount of rice. First time using Spice Cottage and it will be the last. Poor value. Poor food.

We went early evening on a Wednesday and therefore we had the banquet deal which is excellent value and is available Wednesday and Thursday at £10.95 and includes poppadoms and chutney, a starter, a main dish and a rice or Naan bread . They also have good takeaway deals all week. The atmosphere was clean and in keeping with Indian restaurant style but it was a little early so I can only judge it as a very quiet restaurant. We will definately return. The food was super tasty and the waiter advised our choices from his experience without us needing to ask and was very helpful and polite. Parking: Found at rear of restaurant . There is lots of parking .

Last time ever ! Fobbed off with some white fish in awful red sauce, I asked for salmon !! Instead of advising me no salmon tried to blag me, offered chicken Tikka substitute & got 6 pieces of chicken in same sauce from Chernobyl. Come back Abdul & T. J.
First time delivery from spice cottage, ordering was easy, delivery was well within the time stated. Piping hot food, lovely flavour, a little more meat could of been in the sauce and vindaloo could have had more of a kick. Hence 4 stars.
Ordered from here through Uber- Food was very mid, definitely not worth the £50 we spent. Dissapointed.
First order - fiod is noce but this is deffinetly the smallest pertion i have seen in co paracing with other restaurants in Malvern - only 6 small pcs of chicken in tika masala. Also, no papadoms - all the others send 2. Dont think i will be ordering again. Food
Fantastic food. We ordered a selection of vegetarian dishes and especially enjoyed the sag aloo, paneer shaslic and the garlic naan.

I don t post much , but the service and food were so bad I think it deserves the effort of saying something. It could have been an off day, but the whole experience was unpleasant. We were there for the Malvern show so relied on the other posts which rated cut highly. It was relatively cheap though. No alcohol licence either so . Couldn t be bothered to take issue at the time as we were all tired after a long day and worst things are going on in the world . Also only takes cash. I would avoid

May be eating in gives you a much better experience but a takeaway not so much,we have had lots and lots of takeaways from spiced cottage over years but recently they have not been good at all,you ask for salad and dont get it,tonight we ordered x 2 Keema nans and we get two nans that basically have some Keema dye on them and we have paid for Keema and not got them,thus isnt the first time,get your act together or you will loose you regulars
Beautifully presented dishes The service attentive and cheerful. My one concern is that the menu on Sunday and Wednesday is not the same as the menu you are given. A different menu on those days should be presented to avoid disappointment.For example the Biryani will not come with a sauce on the special offer. Some of the menus tell you a side is included and some menus have that crudely scribbled out. Will visit again but will check what we are ordering on certain days.

I do not know how this place is still allowed to serve the people of malvern its the worst Ive ever had aswell as being spoken to like a dog . I went in there last night the chef came out and said sit and walked away .then another guy comes over with a bag of bin food thats where it went never again .thats a honest report of spice cottage.
I absolutely love this place, very reasonably priced, food is always amazing. The quality is good and Ive never had a bad experience from them. I placed an order earlier and when I get home realised there were no poppadoms. I didnt ring the restaurant or make a complaint because to me personally it was no issue. About 10 minutes later they knocked on my door and had bought the poppadoms they forgot. To me that is fantastic service and I cannot fault them!

We ended going to the spice cottage after not getting a table over the road at Everest eatary being fully booked. I had my doubts about it when walking towards the restaurant but how much I was mistaken after getting in there. Staff very friendly and polite and the food absolutely delicious from start to finish will definitely be going back.
We have had the most delicious takeaway meal this evening. Best Take out Indian we have had in years. It really was as fresh as if you were been served in the restaurant. A real treat during the lockdown of Covid 19. We will definitely recommend and use again. Thank you Spice Cottage a 10/10

me and the wife went to spice cottage this evening and was totally blown away From the moment we walked through the door we felt comfortable we was shown a table straight away and was asked what we would like from the menu and came piping hot not long later,the staff were also polite and courteous. will definetly be going back too marks .

Ive given this a two because, although the food was tasty, the decor is tired, the waiters a little surly and my wife and I were up in the night with bad stomachs and an overdose of msg.

Best value restaurant in malvern
A great place to go for a meal with family or friends. Parking meters away and easily accessible for any and all. Lovely food, if you like a sweet Korma or a fiery Madras then this is the place to go.
Superb food. Good value. The staff are very good and know the food. In my opinion the best curry house in Worcestershire . We will go again and again.

This restaurant is a little gem of well prepared Indian ingredients which are truly original .. the fact that you can purchase your own wine beer of your choice bring it along is a plus.. highly recommend if your in the Malvern area and enjoy authentic Indian cuisine..
We enjoyed a meal with friends to celebrate Christmas. Staff were friendly, efficient and accomodating. The food was excellent, prices were really reasonable. We had a great time.
