Ordered a takeaway from here a couple of times now. Just like a brummy curry and how I like it

Brilliant! Best Indian food in Malvern. Proper authentic dishes and amazing team serving. Back every time we visit the area.

We were visiting the area and came across Vasai on a Google search. We were so glad we did, the food was incredible and the service great. We will visit again when we come back to the area and wouldn t hesitate to recommend.

Got take away from here last night. Very friendly and helpful staff. All food very tasty and well cooked. Would recommend it! Will be back. Vegetarian options: Great jackfruit dish

Ordered lamb cooked in South Indian spices with 4 Partha was very tasty at ~£14.

Service was very slow to get the food ,ambience and food taste were decent.

Tonight was the first time I ordered from Vasai, and I was not disappointed. The food taste and quality was fantastic. I can certainly say that every bit, even the naan bread I didn t want to end. I made a mistake and accidentally ordered the wrong side dish and the restaurant kindly made me the side dish I originally wanted for free. I will certainly be going back and giving them my custom from now on. I recommend everyone else try Vasai! Vegetarian options: Vasai has a lots of vegetarian and vegan options, along aside the usual meat dishes. They cater to all requirements. Kid-friendliness: The staff I dealt with were very friendly

Well that has to be the worst service I have encountered for some time. We arrived 5 minutes before our table. We had booked the table. We were told to sit and wait. Two ladies arrived after us who had a table booked the same time as us. They were seated first. When we were seated they said they may have to move us (odd thing to say to any customer) we sat for sometime. A waiter came over and ask if we would like drinks. Three times we asked what flavour gin they had. He didnt understand so he disappeared (we assumed to get help) but we sat there a while longer watched other waiters laying tables but no customers were waiting. Still nobody came. In the end we walked out and had to find somewhere last minute. Thankfully The Swan at Newland obliged. We will not be going back to Vasai again.

Travelled from Birmingham, to use the local spa and came out to eat for an evening meal. From the moment we walked in we was made to feel so welcome, the service was perfect and the dishes were customised to our tastes. This included tendering to my vegetarian wife whos paneer dish was delicious. We will be coming again for sure, thank you!! Vegetarian options: Beautiful Paneer Dishes.

Normally their food is top notch. But the chicken in the madras was awful. Yet my sons chicken in his jalfrezi was great. Onion bhaji are super delicious. Lets hope my madras is better next time .

I have been going to Vasai for years now. It was my first dinner out when returning permanently to the UK. They are always consistent in their fantastic and friendly customer service and the quality of their food. We have never had a meal that wasnt delicious and the variety even for veggie and Vegan is extensive. Do yourself a favour and try Vasai - you wont regret it!

Never had a bad curry at Vasai, for us it s the best Indian cuisine in malvern. would never go anywhere else.

Food wasnt the traditional curry flavours I expected however the service and atmosphere were spot on

Always great food and great service

Over the last two months we have eaten at Vasai three times. Each time attentive staff, all polite and service with a smile (Said remember us from previous visit); extensive menu (meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan) which the staff happily explain their foods and even recommend a meal based on your tastes if needed; very spacious restaurant which gives each table more than ample room to enjoy the meal ordered and company. The portions are plentiful In portion, flavourful served with warmed plates and just as important great value for money. There is parking just to the right hand side of the restaurant. Thinking about having a meal out, an Indian do not hesitate, this place will not disappoint.

First visit - and a brilliant experience. Superb service, great atmosphere and outstanding food .... Will definitely be repeating this!!!!!

Visited here on a trip to the Malverns. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. Service was very speedy. Food was amazing! They labelled up their vegan and vegetarian dishes really clearly, which made ordering a lot easier. They had a huge range of vegan and vegetarian options. Vegan naans were particularly yummy!

Great food, friendly staff, lots of options on the menu and a good online ordering system should you wish to use it.

UPDATE: Last two take aways were totally below par. Since then heard that Vasai had new owners. Hopefully theyll reach the standards that prompted my original review below. Until then, reducing by 2 stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Take aways are very tasty and genuine flavours. Eating in is a nice experience too and you can bring your own alcohol or buy it there. Cant remember ever having a bad meal from vasai and weve had a lot.

5 of us out for a reunion meet up- honestly this is this is the best curry any of us can remember. Really good, lovely people, recommended experience.

Really enjoyable dining; great selection of food (especially for people on restricted diets like mine). Good value, too! Vegetarian options: Theres a dedicated section to the menu featuring options such as jackfruit, soy substitutes and mixed vegetables.

During these very difficult times Vasai have continued to offer takeaway food and I have to applaud them for that. However, I am only awarding Vasai 3 Stars as I walked in to order a Tandoori Chicken Balti (Madras Hot) takeaway. But what I got was a Chicken Balti NOT Tandoori and NOT Madras hot! However, although it was not what I ordered the quality and taste of the dish was very good!

I ordered chicken & lamb biriyani. Delicious food & good customer service.

Just had a curry from Vasai. Chicken breast supposedly. It was crunchy. Very few pieces of meat. Never again. Better off making my own curry at least i know that i use fresh chicken. So because the Vasai has new management the currys have have gone down in quality. Nice that you have told everyone

Food was really nice...met up with some old friends and had a good night. The only slight issue is that they were so attentive it felt a bit like they were rushing us but overall very nice.

12 Vegan Main Dishes to pick from. We planned 2 days walking in the Malvern Hills and and as my Wife is a Vegan we had to find somewhere for Breakfast and Evening Meal as we stopped at the Premier Inn Malvern and didnt fancy their Food. As the first night was a Sunday a lot of the Restaurants were closed however Vasai an Indian Restaurant on the main Worcester Road was not only open it had Vegan Options so we reserved a table. Luckily there is a Public Free Car Park approx 5 minutes walk from Vasai so we parked there and made our way to Vasai. Once there we were shown to our table and given the Menue and were amazed to find there were 12 different Vegan Main Meals which delighted my Wife. We ordered our Main meal and were surprised that it was put in front of us within 10 minutes and it was lovely tasty food. The owner Ali checked that we were happy with our meals, we were very pleased and booked again for the Monday night and that also a super meal......we would highly recommend it for Vegan Diners and we will dine there again when we return in 2022 for more Hill Walking. Also just 5 minutes from Vasai is The London House Cafe which does a Full English Vegan Breakfast which we used both Mornings.

My only complaint was the tables werent wide enough to put all the various side dishes on!

Cracking food

This is our favourite restaurant for miles around! Superb range of really tasty vegan dishes, always with a little twist of interest in there and a thoughtful choice of ingredients. When the chef comes out to you and asks for your honest opinion you realise that they really care about their food and always want to make it better. The meat eaters in our party were just as happy. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Uninspiring and rather grim... So we decided to give Vasai another try after more than a 2 year break, due to a previous very poor quality meal.... we wish we hadn t bothered Onion bhaji was dry and floury, the outside was nice and crunchy but because they were balls rather than flatter bhajis, they are under cooked and dry. The sagwala balti was beyond salty, someone has clearly messed this dish up as it was unbearable to eat, the chicken pathia was bland and under-spiced. Finally the peshwari naan was just boring and tasteless. Needless to say we will not be hurrying back. Utter waste of £21 (did that include the advertised 15% discount for collection, I don t think so).

Lovely food , great staff. Really enjoyed everything about our meal. Only downside was being sat near the kitchen was very noisy. Would definitely be eating here again

The food is always excellent, and the service normally swift, and of course always polite. This is a good place for a celebration or even just a meal for two.

Lots of beautiful V E G A N choices with all dishes having their own character, not just a generic curry sauce. Bought as a takeaway but there were also people dining-in. If I lived near Id probably be going 3 or 4 times a week!

Such a lot of choice for vegetarians and vegans on their menu as well as loads for carnivores. Desserts a bit disappointing when there are so many amazing Indian ones to introduce to their clientele its a shame to offer so many ice cream choices. On the upside you are usually too full for dessert!!!

Great food great price

All 6 in our group had excellent food, the waiter recommended a dish as 1 lady couldnt find her favourite dish and she loved what he recommended. Excellent service. Customers well spaced, sanitizer on entrance and all staff in masks, felt safe. This is my first visit to Vasai but wont be my last.

Love this place, excellent vegan menu including vegan naan bread! Food is lovely, have only eaten in a couple of times, but restaurant is quite pretty inside. Offer collection or local delivery during lockdown.

Calm atmosphere with great staff and a great place for having Indian food. Had chicken chili garlic and cheese garlic naan which are really good.

Use this regularly and never had a bad meal plus take your own booze, fantastic restaurant.

I have been a customer of Vasia for the last 10 years, if not more. Originally we arrived with two small children, and though spicy food a little much for youngsters with the kind and helpful staff their provided us with mild dishes for them to try. Today, Vasia is still our favourite local curry house. It has changed from a quiet restaurant to a now a busy, full of life, sociable venue, with a selection wonderful Indian food on offer. I still take, my now teens!! They love a night out here! The staff are very inviting and friendly. I can t fault the place (though have to book nowadays! :)) Sharon, Malvern Link

Great Meal

Called for food at 5.30pm. Told 45 minutes for delivery. Called after an hour to be told food still hadnt left. Food arrived at 7.20pm. Chicken was dry and over cooked. Would have been better popping to the kebab trailer at Powick island. The only reason i accepted the meal was i paid by card. If it was cash i would have turned the food away.

Best Indian restaurant in Malvern. Friendly staff, good service, tasty food.. The chicken tikka bhuna and peshwari naan is my favourite. The restaurant can get quite busy on the weekend, but food is still served quickly. You can also bring your own booze!
