127 W King St, Malvern, PA 19355, United States
Family-run neighborhood restaurant serving up Italian-American eats including entrees, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. We also offer an extensive wine-by-the-glass menu, wine flights, an amaro menu, local and Italian craft beers and a full-scale cocktail bar. Established 1993.
My wife and I ordered take out Chicken and Eggplant Parm. The Entrees were mediocre and the sides of pasta were cold and stiff with little Marinara sauce as advertised. The order was efficiently executed but for a dinner over $50 processed like a mega chain with not a lot of flavor.
My family and I were absolutely delighted to experience Anthony’s this evening! We actually went to listen to my son’s amazing music teacher Mr. Tony and to our delay the drinks and the food was exquisite! Even the bread basket was excellent along with the dipping oil my children got pizza and french fries and loved everything my spouse got chicken Parm and I got the seasonal risotto with mushroom sausage and chestnuts. For dessert the children got gelato and we split the ricotta cheesecake which was divine! The risotto was enough for a couple of meals and I’ve never had chicken Parm taste that good it was very light and fresh!! My aperol spritz was perfect! Cannot wait to go again!!
Everything was delicious, except the calamari, they were overcooked. But the pasta dishes were perfect! We could tell they were made in-house. The best pasta outside of Italy. The tiramisu was just how it should be, just wonderful. The service was impeccable, the whole ambiente so relaxing and welcoming. Excellent wine list too. We will be back!
Went for dinner with coworkers and it was busy on a Monday! Food was ok but not great, service was good. I had their ravioli in pesto sauce, it was ok.
First time trying out this place and the food was amazing. They were very busy since it was a weekend and had a 40mins wait. I chose to wait at the bar and the staff were very friendly. Though the service was very slow, but in their defence it was a busy night and I was by myself so they were taking their time catering to much bigger tables. It was fine. My server was Karolanne and she was very friendly and helpful. She made sure I got everything I needed and checked on for my order because of the delay. For starters, I went with their minestrone soup which was good but was little under-salted for me personally. I ordered their cheese ravioli in pink sauce which was delicious and creamy. I asked to make it a bit on the spicier side and they did a good job with it. I also tried their tiramisu which was fab! Though a bit on the pricier side but overall a great dining experience. Would love to come back again.
This is an excellent restaurant. We went with a large group and they accommodated us very well. The staff were courteous and understanding. We had an individual with very restrictive dietary needs and they took special order for them and created a dinner plate that wasn’t exactly on the menu. Kudos to the chef and the server for accommodating this need. Their drinks were excellent especially how the Old Fashioned burbon was served. They have enough options for vegetarians. This is a must go restaurant if you are in mood for some Italian food. The portions are generous and their ambience is very inviting. Their dessert was excellent. It was large enough that I had to take half of it home with me.
Fun family place to eat. We were seated very quickly from a friendly hostess at a nice window seat. Large menu with many Italian food options. Enjoyed the Bread and the homemade tomato/oil dip was delicious. We had the wedge salad which was a generous portion full of bacon, tomato and blue cheese dressing. Homemade Chicken pastina soup was hot and full of pasta and veggies. We had the Margherita pizza, Sicilian style. It was large, very good and the crust was perfect. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We arrived before the restaurant filled up very quickly with locals and families that seemed to frequent this cute little gem in the shopping center. I Will definitely be back with my family to try some of the other food options.
Many years have passed since I have been here. But I follow them on Instagram and the food always looks great. Went for lunch on Saturday. They have a great menu. Virtually every Italian favorite you can expect. The caprese salad was very good but I would have appreciated some balsamic vinegar. The creamy mushroom soup was very good, but Iron Hill’s Kennett Square mushroom soup is better. I tried the special, salmon and grilled asparagus risotto. I didn’t love it. My friend had the manicotti and it was very good! We also had cannoli (to go) and they were respectable. Overall, a very good choice for Italian cuisine. Nothing fancy, but straight up and likely reliable.
Classic
Parking: Parking is snug in the lot but not awful - if a large group plan to carpool Food
Consistently great food. Large dining room and bar. Can become busy on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Always a solid meal. Update: this team continues to do a great job. I love that theyve added the ability to make reservations. I also appreciate that they are mindful of my food allergy and are always respectful. Thank you!
Always great food and service! We have been enjoying Anthonys for 20+ years. Highly recommend!
Terri & I love our Monday night dinners at Anthony s. Ya won t get a better server than Jade, she s the best.
Great Italian restaurant
Nice crisp pizza and great sandwiches
Went to Anthonys for lunch good food outstanding service nice bar check it out
The food is spectacular, and the service is the best.
Take out and sit down meals are always excellent and served by well trained and courtesy staff
A variety of choices and all are delicious.
Hard to find good Italian food in Chester County since moving here from NJ. Anthonys was very good and reasonable prices
The food here is solid. The bar is nice too. This is a nice little neighborhood spot.
Brought my grandson and Don in law. They enjoyed the large portions and delicious food.
Food is always delicious. I had lasagna and it was perfect. Had enough for 3 meals! Q Parking: Amble parking in lot.
The food was wonderful. We were a group of 8, service was spot on. All the plates were served together as orderd. The cost was reasonable. Fun place good enviroment.
Food always good. Sometimes a little too crowded and noisey which detracts from dining. Went with group of six and after 20 minutes, I had to ask about bread and appetizer. Otherwise one of our go to restaurants.
So. Its been quite awhile since my family and I have been to Anthonys in Malvern. I have to say that the more they renovate the worse the restaurant becomes. We took my dad there for his 76th birthday. There were 7 of us altogether. My wife kids and grandson arrived first at 5:15. It was not crowded-there were many tables available for seating. The hostess informed my wife that we could not be seated at a table until all of our guests were in the restaurant. We were a bit confused by this since we had never experienced this before at Anthonys or anywhere else. I told the hostess that my father was a minute out-nonetheless, we could not sit at a table until he arrived. Which was baffling due to the fact that there were at least 10 tables open and no wait. The funny thing is we did not ask to sit down-we were informed that we would not be seated until all guests had arrived. When we spoke to the owner after we bein seated-upon the arrival of our one missing guest-he informed us that this has always been the policy and the main reason is to keep the wait staff from having to come back to the table and explain the specials a second time to the late arrivals or have to take a second drink order. Honestly if my server cant take the time to do that-I will not be able to take the time to figure out what 20% is! After this baffling exchange no specials were explained, we were instructed they were written on the first page of the menu. Which is fine by me if I dont know what something is Ill ask. Now I would have been willing to let all this nonsense slide-we dont get a chance to dine out often-but-and this is the truly disappointing part to all of this. The food was not good. At all. In the past, before the place was remodeled-and they added a bar etc etc the food was magnificent. Our service at this visit was excellent minus the bumpy start but somewhere along the path of expansion and remodeling-the quality and quantity of food has been forgotten. It wasnt just myself who thought this either. There were 7 of us and 5 of our clan were not impressed with the food. Enough so that this will be our last trip to Anthonys of Malvern. It wasnt so much about the whole seating policy. The facts are -we go out to eat on special occasions. Birthdays, anniversaries, we work hard so we deserve a night out, those types of occasions. I/we want to enjoy the food we order to celebrate those occasions. I ordered the raviolis with two meatballs topped with their pink sauce. The raviolis were overcooked, the meatballs tasted as if they were 1/2 bread crumbs and the pink sauce was bland and unsatisfying. We make the Irish version of pink sauce at home by combining 1/2 jar of Alfredo with a 1/2 jar of marinara. Its not great but it is certainly tastier than what I was served last night. As my wife and kids tell me Ive lectured too long! Save yourself the hassle and trade in the Anthonys of Malvern for the Anthonys if Downingtown. In a society that puts so much emphasis on the outside beauty of things, the old adage is true. Beauty is only skin deep. Anthonys of Malvern may look spectacular, something on the inside needs mending. To put it nicely. Ive only eaten at Olive Garden once or twice for a reason. Its not truly authentic Italian food. I would spend my money and eat there before sitting-not before all my companions arrive mind you- before dining at Anthonys again. They should be done with the seating policy as well as start a remodel on the quality of the food. As I stated in the beginning of this rant-weve eaten there for decades. We will visit the other Anthonys (Downingtown) when its time to celebrate Italian style time. In the owners defense-he did give my father a free piece of tiramisu for his birthday-even though he was late. Thanks
This place is AMAZING! We ordered off of the autumn/seasonal menu and the food and cocktails were incredible. Our waitress Karolanne was so sweet and attentive. The atmosphere was quiet, clean, and relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Italian! We will be back.
Customer over 30 years. Of the last four times eating in and taking out the food is consistently bad. The last take out: cheese steak, pizza fries and onion rings was the last disappointment.
Food and service were excellent. Years ago the dining room was crowded and utilitarian. Now, its expanded and feels much more comfortable.
Nothing to say other than everything is amazing, you literally cant go wrong!
Excellent food and great service on an extremely busy Saturday night. They were BYOB, but now have a liquor license.
Been going to Anthony s since it opened, never a bad meal!
The new short rib ragu special for the winter specials is phenomenal. Really an outstanding dish.
Love the Raviolis! They are made fresh at the restaurant. salad was nice and fresh. The waitress was very busy but also very kind and attentive.
A delightful place to have lunch!
Our family has been going Anthonys for years. I have never had a bad meal there. The generous portions have never changed like other places and the bill has always been fair considering inflation. I had a few drinks there since they remodeled with bar and they were solid as well. Kid-friendliness: no issues with kids its a family place
Great food all around and no matter what they almost always have our food ready in 20 minutes for takeout. Best pizza and Italian food in Malvern for sure!
Great food! Great service!
Nice neighborhood restaurant with very good food at reasonable prices.
its meh because very expensive . Im sure the food is good
Pretty good food . Some in the group thought it was a bit greasy. I liked the lasagna. The deserts were excellent. Almost no wait 5 pm on a Saturday. Great service . Live music was ok and not too loud.
Best Italian food anywhere! Hands down!
We just came back from this restaurant with an horrible dine in experience. We came to this restaurant for a dinner. Arrived there at 8PM ESt and all went initially. We were given a table and the waitress came to the table after few minutes to take the order for drinks and appetizers. After few minutes she came back asking for the order for main course where we asked for few more minutes. Then we placed the main course order, which was nothing but a vegetarian pizza. After 15 mins the waitress came to let us know the Pizza is getting ready and should be there any time. From here , the waitress disappeared while we waited for the food. time passed , we asked other waiters with not much movement , finally our waitress came and trying to inquire whether the food is there or not. By this almost 30 mins passed. She went inside to inquire about and came back to let us know that our order has been served to some other table and the chef is preparing another pizza which may take another 5 to 10 mins and she also asked if that can be served or packed for delivery , we asked her to serve it on the table. then the wait game again continued for 15 more mins and she came back to tell us similar stories like our food was given to a take away order . This was frustrating by now , she again repeated the same thing , whether we can wait or she can pack the order which will take another 15 mins. By now it is really frustrating to wait more time , I asked them to cancel the order and it seems she was pretty happy with our response. Immediately she came back with the check to pay and leave. From this kind of experience , where we neither got the food nor got any good response from the waiter (she just mentioned , it is not under her control, not sue why she is allowed to attend a table if she can not manage it) or restaurant staff , my suggestion , please do not plan for a pleasant dinner if you are going with your family to spend some time there, it might ruin your plan. My guess- They also have a take away counter where they just deliver and they dont have proper management to manage dine in and take away orders , its a mess.
Can anybody tell me if Anthonys is still a BYOB? Thanks
Not only is their food amazing, their service is awesome. Amelia in take-out helped make sense of my order and assisted with a food allergy. Very thorough and I was 6 days post-partum and not making any sense. She was very patient with me and I appreciated it more than shell know.
My coworkers and I order from here all of the time! Amazing employees with great service!
Great service (Tighe) and fantastic food (Cheese steak and Pizza)! First time in since the renovation.
Went to dinner with a friend. Ordered extra dirty martinis. When they came in, they were not dirty at all so we asked for more olive juice so they could be what they should ve been to begin with. My overall dinner was very good. Did not enjoy the spaghetti sauce however. Seemed very watery. Anyway when my bill came, I was charged $4 dollars extra for the extra olive juice which was needed to make the drink be what it should ve been. Also is a $13 drink to begin with which is fine. This charge really annoyed me! It is not the money but the principal here. I ordered something that I did not get. I spoke to the manager who claims he was also the owner. He was fairly arrogant. He told me his olive juice was $.60 cents an ounce and I needed to pay for it. I told him I will never be back and he was losing a good. Malvern customer. It was clear that he did not care one bit about that. He is young and in experienced and really needs some management training and certainly needs to learn how to take care of his faithful customers. Also, don t put too much sugar in your coffee . you might be charged for it.
Horrible
Honestly I was a bit disappointed with my food experience. The Italian wedding soup was very good. Then it came to the main course. I was very excited since they advertised fresh made noodles daily. The meatballs were great then I dived into the noodles with sauce. That it where the good meal ended. The sauce wasnt flavorful enough to go with the doughy flavor from the noodles. It ended up tasting like dough with tomatoes. Definitely not my idea of a good red sauce.
Is this the same Anthonys that used to be super dated (this was many years ago) that had cirved booths in the corner . Reason I ask is because I used to live in Paoli and spent many summers with my grandmothers who would always take me to Anthonys. She was friends with the previous owner. I plan on bringing my wife and little girls some 20 years after her passing to enjoy what I enjoyed as a child.
Always a great meal!
Good food, excellent selection of wine and drinks, great service. We aren t from the immediate area but are looking for out next time to be back and try more options!
Anthonys has gone through some renovations and changes, a little bummed they are not a BYOB any more. However they now have an excellent wine selection and bar service. Food is always great. Id say they have one of the best wine selections for by the glass in the area. Their beer options are also impressive, providing some beer options you dont normally see.
The best espresso martini ever! Always a great time sitting at the bar. The food is delicious and Carol Ann s drinks and service are top notch!
Wonderful service, very good lasagna and soup
Someone is always there to get what you need or clear a dish. Food was great- lasagna was almost as good as my grandmoms.
Always excellent.
Tighe and Tara were amazing! We came in close to closing time and ordered to go. We got drinks at the bar while we waited and they went out of their way to replace our food when we decided to eat in. They were extremely nice and attentive the entire time. They were actively cleaning, which was amazing to see (almost never see this in other restaurants). After a log day at rhe office this is a great place for great service and great food. Cheers to the staff working late night at the bar!
If youre looking for a delicious Italian meal in the Malvern area, Anthonys is definitely worth a visit. I recently ordered takeout for my family and we were blown away by the quality of the food. We tried the Pasta Di Mare, which was cooked to perfection with an amazing seafood flavor. The soup and salad were also fresh and flavorful, and the bread was a perfect accompaniment to the meal. Despite being busy, the staff at Anthonys did an excellent job of preparing and packaging our food for takeout. The order was ready on time and everything was well-packaged and organized. Overall, I highly recommend Anthonys for anyone looking for great Italian food in the Malvern area. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Whether youre dining in or taking out, you wont be disappointed.
Amazing food everytime. Pasta is made in house. Dietary restrictions: They have a lot of gluten free options.
Hidden gem in Malvern. I love Italian food. Anything that reminds me of my grandmother s cooking or my own is a go-to. This restaurant is one of my favorites when I dont want to cook. The bar and restaurant provide a fun, inviting atmosphere.
Very tasty, picked up a large catering order it was ready on time and the staff helped me load up my vehicle. Everyone loved the food! One of the entrees we did debate if it was lasagna or chicken parm but it is gone now ! Delicious !
Large pizza, pep, bacon, onion, roasted peppers Overall Not terrible. Crust is a bit doughy and sauce is bland but if you throw it in the toaster over for a few minutes and add salt, garlic and paprika it s good. Roasted peppers are really good, bacon is not cook thoroughly and not broken up enough. Pepperoni and onions are good. Good amount of sauce but a bit too much cheese. Walkable for the Malvern area. Better than Malvern pizza, Osmans pizza is best within a 20 minute drive.
My partner and I had a lovely experience at Anthony s. We were doted on! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine. Parking: Great parking out front- close and accessible.
Ate here during an evernight stopover in the area. Very nice restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. Good food. Decent prices. Would highly recommend....and would eat here again if ever back in the area!
Staff was rough and grumpy! Lunch was busy and loud but the salads and pizza were great. Prices were reasonable. Food
Food was delicious. We ordered the Lasagna and Supreme pizza. Great atmosphere. Super clean and my waitresses provided excellent customer service
The food and all the food choices were awesome. Nice clean place with plenty of room. We noticed a lot of takeout was going on also. A full restaurant and lots of takeout is a good indicator of great food being served.
Very disappointed-be a long time before we go back
Pizza was amazing and the beet salad was delicious but the highlight for my 90 year old mother was the gelato. It was like silk. My mom had 2 scoops and was looking for more. Weve been back twice since and we will keep coming
Shrimp Alfredo was absolutely amazing! Ordered food to go, staff was very friendly and helpful with plates and utensils when I mentioned I was staying in a hotel. Recommend!!!
They stopped serving the complimentary salad and kept the price the same. Very disappointed. $24 pasta and no salad? Smh
Nice family restaurant with a lot of menu choices. We were seated very quickly on a Saturday night but our waitress was very rushed as it seemed they were a little short staffed (she was still great!) Food was good but compared to how the restaurant used to be it seemed to be more generic than authentic now! Still a nice place to have an Italian dinner, just more like a chain restaurant now. Vegetarian options: Can make a vegan pasta and they have salad options Parking: Sometimes difficult to find parking as it is a small lot, but usually a spot opens up quickly
Best Italian food I ve had in a really long time! I am visiting this area in a business trip for the week and have gone back almost every night to try something new!
Excellent lasagna
I went to order to pick up. And the young girl told me its 20 minutes waiting. So.. after 45 minutes i asked her se handles me the pie thats been sitting on the shilf.. Sure enough, cold 34 dollars pizza
Great fresh made pasta
I stayed in the area for the night and enjoyed their grilled chicken Caesar salad. The atmosphere was nice and felt welcoming!
Chicken cheese steak is awesome here.
I love that they use local ingredients and can make the buffalo chicken gluten free
We used Anthonys catering service for a work lunch. The food and service were exceptional! The process was easy from start to finish and everyone I encountered could not have been nicer!
Service and Food was very good, a lot of attention from the waiters the family atmospheric is very welcoming.
I think you changed your clams and linguine recipe!! It had way to much Lemon and no red pepper flakes!! I loved your clams , linguine, wine sauce it was just really off w/o the pepper and the way to much lemon!! Food
Went on a weekend retreat in Malvern with My Contessa. She became a bit tired and in need of nourishment after the lengthy drive. The retreat organizers had recommended the finely appointed Anthony s Pizza & Italian Restaurant. And now, so do we! *Che Saporito!* Pizza finely done, not at all watery or over-oiled Perfectly cooked edge to center. Just the right amount of cheese. My wife had a soup & salad a deliciously nice combination that left her satiated and smiling once again! *Spettacolare!* The best part? The service! Lovely, joy-filled wonderful peeps who made our meal so pleasant, from the greetings at the door to keeping our water glasses filled to a satisfying departure. [So, tip them well for their hard efforts! Yes! Well deserved!] Not sure our next time to visit Malvern. When we do? We will be sure to stop in to Anthony s. *E Allettante!*
Excellent ambience Nice food Food
I was debating writing a review, but I have been upset about our experience after my birthday dinner. I love Anthonys, I have been getting takeout from them for years. I live in the city and I chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner with my family last Friday. We had 9 people and we ate around 6 pm. The food was amazing, but the service was not great. The waitress rushed us so much. My food just arrived and I was taking my first bites and she asked if anyone needed a box. The plates were never cleared from the table. She never asked if we wanted dessert. When we asked for dessert, she made a separate check and never even asked if we wanted birthday candles. It seemed like they wanted to get us out of there, but it was only 8 pm. She then never mentioned that a tip was included in the bill so we overtipped her. I am very upset about my experience and I will be going somewhere else for my next birthday.
Excellent veal Parmesan and spaghetti. Eggplant Rollatini and Roasted beat salad was fantastic! New to area. We will definitely return to Dine in and take out. Very extensive menu and clean environment! Nice place! 5 stars !
Food was delicious - prices are reasonable - servers were engaged
It was clean and people were friendly. Honestly I make a better chicken picatta at home.
Delicious meal every time we go.
Wasnt as good as before for the price. Pasta was stuck together
Delicious food. Would go again.
I waited almost two years to make it here after drooling over the food on Instagram. Anthony s did not disappoint. We ordered mussels, clams and linguine, and bruschetta. Everything was absolutely delicious, down to the house made Italian dressing. They make the pasta in house. If you like Italian, please do not pass this up!!
One of our favorite Italian restaurants in the area, Anthonys wont disappoint. With authentic Italian recipes, varied menu and wonderful decor, youll feel as if youve been transported to Italy for awhile. Wait staff are pros, portions large and prices quite reasonable for the excellent quality of their dishes. BYOB and mangia bene!
Anthonys is still one of my all time favorite places to dine at for lunch in Malvern. Due to Covid, I havent been able to dine in because my office remains closed. So glad I had the opportunity to eat here during the holiday season. Great Food ! Great Service! Lovely Atmosphere!
Our go-to place for lunch when were in Malvern
Was in for dinner tonight and the only satisfactory part of our meal was our waitress Bronwyn. We order soup that came out luke warm and sent it back, it came back warm this is not acceptable, you need to have your kitchen send out hot soup. Then I ordered a Cobb salad with no chicken but a cheese burger instead that came out and the salad was warm and the burger was cold again the kitchen is not doing there job. On top of that I was charged full price for the salad and the burger now I dont mind paying for anything as long as I get what I want so needless to say I wont be supporting your establishment in the future. And I am being generous with 2 stars only because of our waitress Bronwyn. If it wasnt for her you would have gotten no stars.
Terrible service. Hair in the food and items wrong. Manager was rude and unable to address the situation.
Loved it! BYOB Will return soon.
Great casual lunch or dinner. Food is authentic Italian, pizza and pasta dishes. Affordable and fun for families and large parties!
Always delicious
Delicious food and the waitress was amazing. Female name began with L
I moved to Malvern in November, so I dont know the area very well. I saw this restaurant months ago but I dont go out alone to places I dont know. My son and his fiance came to visit and took me out to eat there. I am in love with this place! The food is delicious and the people that work there are very friendly and patient! Everything on the menu looks awesome. I took a little longer than usual to make up my mind. We each ordered different items on the menu and each dish was out of this world. I even took a pizza home with me. Ive decided that I will go back here again even if Im by myself!
I love this place. Never disappoints.
Had their garlic and oil pasta. Had them add spinach to it. OMG, it was so good. Could eat it every week.
Place to go for pasta and sauce dishes! Pluses first: wonderful staff, pleasing and clean dining room, short wait time. Downsides: served a flatbread with a huge pile of arugala (mostly stems) & drizzled with sticky balsamic - no way to easily eat it and flavor was bland. Swapped for spinach & artichoke which was better but still a bit sticky (same drizzle).
I love Anthonys food!
Off and on I go to lunch with cousin and brother. We all like this place. Food is great in this cozy place.
The restaurant has a dedicated side for take-out. Was able to order and receive a sit-down quality pasta dish in 10 minutes. Hit the spot!
Great home style dishes coupled with digestible prices equal a reapeatable dinning experience. Must try the beet salad, awesome!
Cheese fries were horrible. The fries were close to being raw. Italian hoagie was good, but this is the third time getting one and they never cut it in half. I guess you must request it being cut in half. Used to love this place years ago
I tried their special soup, shrimp and spinach, which was creamy and delicious. I also ordered beet salad which was has too much beets. There is no lettuce or spinach in their beets salad. Also, you can bring your own bottle of wine at this restaurant.
My wife and I stopped in on a Saturday around 6:15 PM. The place was packed and understandably so. The food was great tasting and plentiful. The service was prompt however I would recommend visiting when its less busy just a noise preference on my part
We had an excellent authentic Italian dinner last nite at Anthony s Italian Restaurant in Malvern, the food was great, the ambiance was excellent and the service and our waitress was even better! Only problem is that I wish it was closer to our home ! Salute !!!!
Always a delight when seeing mom and dad Mongiello in Malvern.
Went to the restaurant area once, was very good service and delicious food. Always get take out, delicious pizza and gluten friendly options!
Great food
Huge disappointment - things changed. The place wasnt busy when I went, maybe 4 tables filled in the whole place. Waited about 10 minutes till the server took our order. Mostly everything was so dry, calamari was very tough, felt like I was chewing forever. The meat on the salad was super dry. Im not sure what happened here - it used to be really good. Maybe the cook changed? I dont know. But I probably wont be returning.
I order takeout from here. The staff are on point.
One of my fav pkaces to go with family whe Im visiting. So good.
Like there food very much. Been going to Anthonys a long time.
The picture speaks a thousand word!
My go to for Italian food. The best
Good Italian family restaurant. Classic options as well as pizzeria menu items.
Pasta and sauce were fresh and delicious.
Went on a Saturday night around 5:30 pm, got in before the rush. Food and service was excellent ! House made ravioli and Lasagna were great, antipasto is the real deal. People know this place so it fills up, go early or wait in line, its worth it.
Loved Anthonys, the food was fantastic and everyone was really nice. Definitely cant wait to come back!
The pizza is good. Prices are expensive for what you get though; a kids baked penne is $16(!).
Great food! Great staff!
Fantastic food, they are under construction in the front 1/4 of the dine in area. Wait was about 5 min., staff could not have been nicer.
Very disappointed in the gummy, undercooked spaghetti with shrimp scampi. They claim spaghetti is homemade but it sure didnt taste so. Some shrimp on the top of dish were fresh and the others were a different quality. I suggest sticking to pizza when going here! Waitress was snippy and of no help in rectifying this dish.
GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE
Even though its renovated, the space is super noisy. Too many hard surfaces. Salads are good but 7.25$ for a piece of chicken added to an entree salad makes it $20. I know food prices have gone up but thats crazy.
Anthony s is one of our favorite places to go when we are craving great italian or pizza! The recently renovated interior is beautiful and it just has a real cozy, inviting feel and also has a bar now which is great! There is a wide selection of wines and beers to enjoy. The staff is always wonderful as well! We recently had ordered catering from Anthony s as well for my sons birthday party and the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone raved about it, especially the chicken piccata and baked ziti! The amount you get for the price is great. We highly recommend Anthony s!
Very crowded for 5:30, Saturday. The wait, they dont accept reservations, was absolutely worth it. I had the chicken piccata, and it was one of the best Ive ever enjoyed. The lemony sauce was creamy and flavorful. Plenty of lovely little capers for every bite. The chicken was tender, lightly browned and just perfect. Accompanying the very generous portion of my main entree was another huge portion of spaghetti in marinara. Delicious. I brought most of it home for Sunday leftovers. I would have like a bit more zing in the marinara sauce but it wasnt b look and. It could have used more garlic, in my opinion. Both dishes were delicious. For dessert my friend and I shared a slice of pumpkin cheesecake which was fresh and creamy. Pumpkiny yet still cheesecake. Delicious. The pricing was reasonable especially for the portion size. The restaurant evidently acquired a liquor license and now sp ki gets a bar just inside the entrance. Handy place to have since there were enty of people waiting for a table. Nice family friendly restaurant with a wonderful, warm staff that are not affected or smug...which you frequently come across dining in the main line. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great Italian meal and a lovely evening out for dinner. My dining companions both loved their meals as well.: shrimp scampi and chicken marsala. I didnt try the shrimp scampi but sampled a bite of the chicken marsala and it too was perfection. Tge marsala sauce was bursting with flavor and the mushrooms were cooked to perfection. The chicken was cooked to the same perfection as my piccata. Hats off to the talent in the kitchen for a beautiful meal that Im sure more than just our group enjoyed Saturday evening. Well be back and looking forward to it.
Best mom and pop Italian in the area. All the food is fantastic and the pizza is so good, we get it as an app for the table. Highly recommend.
Pizaa was good and real old authentic pizza in Malvern downtown ! Meat lovers and veg plain cheese pizza are good.
Pizza was good but service was not. Servers were rushing to close restaurant and one lady was very rude to us. Also servers started cleaning up everything while we were still at the table within still 1h to close restaurant. Not coming back here and not recommending to anyone.
Got take-out, food was horrible, salads werent fresh. Most of the 56 bucks went in the trash. $56 was for 2 adult entries and a childs pasta. My grandkids said it sucked.
I had really high hopes for Anthony s. We ordered a pizza but they had put so much balsamic glaze on the pizza that made the pizza so wet and soggy. Literally the only thing you could taste was the balsamic and the crust was wet. We had to throw out the entire pizza. Very disappointed.
I have been coming here for years with the family. The recent renovation looks amazing and now they can serve wine or beer or some speciality cocktails. They have changed a lot over the years but always do a great job. The food was amazing and filling as always. Parking: Open parking lot to park in, but can be limited on spots. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out of being ground level.
The food was great but moreover, the coffee was amazing. I should ve asked what brand of coffee they have.
Dined at Anthonys for the first time in many years with a party of eight. The dining room looks great and now has a full service bar. All of our food was delicious and served in a timely manner. I did however show up with my wine since the Google description reads it is a BYOB restaurant still.
Always yummy food. Pasta, pizza and sandwiches are all tasty. Chicken is super efficient, even for large parties. Portions are generous, so even large appetites are satisfied.
