Avola Kitchen + Bar in Malvern

Good food and service. We had a large party and there was plenty of space. Our food was delivered at the table together and was delicious.

It is really hard to beat this place. The Artisan pizza is the top five pizzas in the suburbs. Lobster ravioli is perfect and the drinks are pretty damn good. Pro tip, order the pizza well done. I am a former European restaurant owner...give this place a shot.

My husband and I dined in for the first time on Saturday. Service was great. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. We ordered a variety of apps. Crab and shrimp ceviche was so fresh, my husband said the meatballs were flavorful. Mushroom toast was a huge portion! The crab and corn risotto was my favorite, HUGE and plentiful chunks of crab and sweet corn. Pasta pomodoro was delicious- the pasta you could tell was fresh. The bolognese was a huge serving. The live music was a great touch. We will definitely Be back !

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here tonight and they were so kind to us. They went above and beyond to make sure our night was special and the food was delicious, as well as the drinks!!

It was my first time here and the food was amazing. My waitress Erica was super sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back.

The food was delicious but the wait times to place an order or receive our food was longer than expected. I would have understood the wait if the restaurant was packed, but there were multiple open tables.

We stopped in for a drink at the bar. It was a Friday night and it was pretty empty at 9:30. Typical of a suburbs bar. But the bartender, sorry I can t remember his name, was GREAT. He was a young guy, super attentive, made me a great whisky sour. He knew his craft. Shame it was so empty-that s why I gave 4/5 stars for atmosphere. We didn t have any food.

Great burgers!

We went for lunch. We were standing there for 5 minutes but no one came to greet or seat us. There was one server, ANNA, who was working at the time. She saw us standing at the front but she walked away instead of seating us. So I had to walk all the way to the back to ask her where we should sit. She told me wherever I wanted. And when I asked for a high chair. She ignored me. I raised my voice a bit and asked again. She IGNORED me again. So we sat ourselves at a booth. She came to take our orders. After my husband ordered, she walked away immediately without asking if I needed anything. I kept saying hello excuse me , trying to ask her to come back because I needed to order as well but she pretended she did not hear me but I was 100% sure that she heard me. When she retuned, I asked her why did you keep ignoring me? She said Oh. I thought he ordered for you. Is this a proper reason for a server to keep ignoring her customers? In the end, we tipped her 25% just because this is the way how we treat the servers but doesn t mean she deserved it. We came to spend the money and support the business. I don t think we deserve this kind of rude and bad service. Such a shame to this beautifully decorated restaurant as I can tell how much efforts the owner has put into this place. But it has been all ruined by undertrained staff as I see so many bad reviews on their customer service.

Izeah and Ty hands down provide the best customer service at the bar. Drinks are always on point with these two. They provide exceptional, quick, and reliable service and keep us coming back for more! The food is always fresh and phenomenal. 10/10 experience here! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta is INSANE.

Pretty restaurant with good food and drink. Food is a bit pricey but you get allot and it is excellent. Only negative is the food is very salty.

This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants in the area. The staff is so kind, the food is beyond delicious and the atmosphere is modern, yet cozy. Their pizza is phenomenal, you can t go wrong with the Brussels sprouts and any of their specials are amazing! Highly recommend.

I hate to have to put such a negative review out but it s warranted when food safety and customer service is important! When you find foreign objects in food, that poses a safety hazard. I had food to go from the evening prior and found three chunks of cardboard today when eating for lunch. Imagine if your kid was eating that and didn t know what it was and choked?? Not to mention, having to call three times to get the phone picked up is inconvenient and to have a full voice box is also not appropriate for a restaurant. Even when picked up, the employee has no concern over hearing a foreign object was found in food and asks for me to call later, not taking down a name or complaint. I won t be dining here again, there is obvious carelessness in all aspects of the customer experience.

I cant say enough good things about the lunch my friends and I had at Avola today. I had a very tasty Farro Bowl with chicken. Couldnt finish it all so that came home with me. Had a taste of my friends Cheesesteak Spring Rolls. They were so good that I ordered some to take home! Pizza was great as were the Beet salads my friends had. And the drinks...perfecto! We thanked the Chefs and our waiter, Tyler, for giving us such a wonderful dining experience. We WILL be back! Do yourself a favor and go! Now! What are you waiting for?!

The food was excellent. Worthy of 4-5 stars. However, the atmosphere was loud and not enjoyable. Kids running around and opening the patio door non stop. The acoustics are bad and difficult to hear the person sitting next to you. Server was sweet and meant well, but inattentive after taking initial order.

I used to live nearby and have gone to Avola many times. Although it is quite loud when busy and the service has been hit or miss, I still give them five stars because the food is consistently SO good. The pasta bolognese is the best I ve ever had. (I ve ordered it many places.) It s the stuff of dreams for anyone who loves Italian food. Or food in general. The pizzas are always delicious. The salads are lovely. We always get a nice glass of wine. It s been a go-to spot for my husband and I, and I will miss it (especially the bolognese!) now that we have moved.

Everything about the food was excellent. Service was spotty. First there was confusion over which server was covering our table, which led to us waiting 15 minute before being greeted. Then, I needed to request assistance from the nearby bartender for utensils and ice as our server seemed to have disappeared. It happens. :( The atmosphere is much improved from previous visits. Specifically, it appeared to be warmer and the acoustics softer.

We recently hosted a bridal shower. The place was beautiful and the food delicious. Eeman was very helpful in making the day extra special. Whatever we needed she and the staff were able to provide! Would recommend!

Lemme be frank- I dont eat much. Not huge when it comes to doing even the basics of fueling my body by, oh yes, eating. So this recommendation here is a big deal. Because i am posting it WHILE I AM EATING. This food is AMAZING. I am having the most phenomenal gnocchi plate perhaps known to man...the NON 3 cheese one because i am not a cheese fan. (So fellow non - cheese lovers, rejoice). The ambience is exceptionally pleasurable-i didnt even know there is a beautiful outside patio to eat at, but inside is so inviting and cozy as well.... Everyones so sweet here, HOWEVER if youre lucky enough to have Jess as your server, you are exceptionally lucky. Theyre all nice- she is AMAZING!! (*I only met her tonight). Words are cheap- heres proof in the pictures. Conclusion: do yourself a favor, experience Avola yourself !!

We held our daughter s first birthday party here and the restaurant staff was very accommodating and helpful.

I was there with a small group of friends on a Monday night and there were only a couple of other people there. We started out the night sending all of our water glasses back because they were dirty. Then we got water in the clean glasses but the water had floaters in it. Service was very very slow, and one of us got the wrong drink. We had to send it back and then It took 30 minutes to get the correct drink. We decided to order the meat and cheese plate. There were a few chunks of blue cheese which was nice and some slivers of cheddar which was obviously not fresh. At this point, we decided to cut our losses and go down the street to a competitor for better service and better food. If this place wants to survive they need to step up their game at every level.

Avola is one of my favorite spots, always a good vibe and great food. Our server was Jessie and she was bubbly and attentive. The bartender is awesome, drinks are always strong and she managed to get them out quick despite the restaurant being busy and working solo. I always finish my meal with dessert here, truly some of the best! I ve never had a bad meal or experience at Avola and I ll continue to come back and recommend to friends!

My wife and I just returned from a delicious dinner with pretty average service. Drinks took a while to arrive with the excuse from the waiter that the bar was slammed. Ordered the octopus. After a few minutes, we ordered dinner. Dinner came before the octopus, which we canceled. Dinner was delicious! Ordered dessert, after a delay, it was delivered with the excuse that everyone seems to be ordering panna cotta when there were only 4 tables occupies in the dinning room

Great service, food, and atmosphere

We hosted our rehearsal dinner here and couldnt be happier that we did! We also had the joy of meeting their team member, Jess, who helped make our initial experience so welcoming and inviting. Patty, Brittany, and the staff were wonderful to work with, and actually went the extra mile to embrace the unseasonably warm weather we got in November and take our hors doeuvres to the patio! It was perfect and really set the tone for our guests. The food was delicious and the experience was lovely. We will absolutely be returning next time were in town!

Food was very good but value was not there for the price. $48 for the smallest piece of Salmon (if it was 4 or 5 oz at best). Entire dish could have been served on a saucer sized plate. Beautiful decor, friendly service. The food was good enough that we will try it again with a full menu. Perhaps the prices were elevated for new years eve and a scaled down menu.

An unknown charge of $12.00, listed as OPEN LIQUOR, was added to our bill in addition to the charge for our drinks. I have tried to contact the management on two occasions to find out what the charge was for, but no one has returned my call. Will not return, Update: spoke to the manager, Ben, late this afternoon, and am happy to write that we have resolved this issue. I will give them another try.

Avola is my favorite restaurant in Malvern! The ambiance , food and staff is amazing! The manager, Ben is super personable and professional. He goes above and beyond for the customers. Also, Dan makes the best drinks ever! They will always have a patron in me!

Bar area had a really weird smell which made me lose my appetite. Took 20 minutes to get our drinks even though the place was empty. The outdoor area looked nice but definitely don t think I ll be returning to check it out.

Avola almost had a full 5 stars from me. Walking into Avola it feels almost out of place for the small shopping center it s in. The staff is very polite and help with recommendations, and the service was prompt. The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly, the black rice vinaigrette was a bit strong but delightful. I pretty sure I could taste truffle on the frettis which helped elevate the flavor. Most of the two tops are unfortunately push up against the wall to make room for larger parties but the outdoor seating does look romantic. If I enjoyed myself so thoroughly why only 4 stars? They engage in a slightly deceptive practice that I unfortunately fell victim to. When you sit down you are immediately greeted by someone that asks you sparkling or still or tap water , no mention of any cost. I would never expect to pay for any water offered sparkling or not at the beginning of a meal but on top of that I have an auditory processing disorder so I heard it as sparkling or still tap water , I said still. I was a bit surprised when they brought a bottle out with water but didn t really think twice about it till my bill came. I was charged $7 for my water. Unfortunately where I had been ready to sing the praises of Avola, a $7 water has left a sour taste.

This was a hard restaurant to rate. The positives: excellent food! We ordered the grilled octopus appetizer and the shrimp ceviche. The octopus was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. A real treat that is not on many menus in this area. The ceviche was a little thin. The Avocado should have been thicker versus kind of runny. My wife and I each ordered a wood fired pizza. They were the best wood fired (not NY style) pizzas we have had in years! We both ate more than we intended to because we had a hard time stopping. The drinks were good and while I dont drink alcohol, they made me a virgin version of one of their specialty cocktails and only charged half of the loaded version. Nice to see. Now the negatives. The service was terrible. We were seated quickly and given paper menus that were both dirty and torn. The restaurant only had a few seatings but there were 3 empty tables with dirty dishes still on them. One of our water glasses was dirty too and had to be replaced. The drinks were slow to come out. The appetizers came out on time but we still hadnt ordered our mains yet and had to ask to do so. After that we didnt see our server again and had to ask a busser for new side plates and water. Our food was brought by some other staff. During all the time we were waiting and eating there was a group of 3 servers standing by the bar talking. The WHOLE TIME! While this was going on, one busser was working his tail off clearing and cleaning tables, bringing us water and doing what our server should have been doing. Even some of the other servers noted how hard he was working while they were slacking off. We didnt blame our server either because she was in a leg cast and had multiple tables assigned to her. Before we left we asked the bussers name. It was Drew. I hope his management is reading this as he was an amazing and caring worker. The bottom line: this place is pretty loud inside, especially when there is live music. The service is terrible, but the food is amazing. This place will likely fail due to horrible management of a group of teenage servers with zero direction. If they were trained properly, this place could do much better. This place has coupons available on a lot of websites, so I recommend grabbing one and going in for some good food if you have time and can be patient with the poorly trained staff. Other notes for management - the restaurant gets dark at night. Only half the tables had candles on them but none were lit. It would be worth getting all the tables lit for better ambiance.

Just wow, it was that bad. The waitress, this very evening, refused to come by the table, after we ordered drinks, to take our order. We finally were ready to get up and leave as we tried to flag her down 4 separate times and she paid us a visit. Service was beyond slow as the bus person finally brought our food out. Waitress took another drink order and showed up with the wrong drink, laughed at us and said I dont know what they made you, plopped it down on the table and left. She got less then 10% tip and that was so the bus boy could have something. Not coming back after this embarrassing show of ineptitude. And may I recommend you dont bother either. We were pretty disgusted at the straight up apathy of the waitress and the inability to find anyone else to ask for help from.

Absolutely wonderful! We did not plan our evening at Avola. We happen to stop there looking for something new as we have dined at many of the other restaurants along the Main Line. Every single part of this dining experience seem to have been more and more perfect. From the moment we sat down I immediately observed how comfortable the padded seats were. The lighting and general ambience of the room was very warm and relaxing. Even the gorgeous Lenox silverware was beautifully weighted and clearly high end. The food was absolutely delightful. It was well prepared and breathtakingly delicious. But the true gem of our evening was our outstanding server Madelena. My wife and I enjoy dining out more nights a week then we probably should. It s not often we encounter a server with such an excellent disposition for making you feel welcomed and tended to us with 5 star customer service all evening. Madelena seemed familiar and very comfortable answering every question we had about meals and other items on the menu including details on how they are prepared. She made fantastic appetizer and dessert recommendations based on what she hears her past guest enjoyed most. Her pleasant sense of service was not directed solely at us. We could hear her addressing guest at other tables in the very same manner. I hope the management team is aware of how much this young server brings to the dining experience at an already amazing restaurant. If you re looking for a fantastic restaurant for a nice evening with great seating, impressive lighting, wonderful food, amazing drinks and desserts, try Avola like we did. Maybe you ll get super lucky and have Madelena as you server.

First time visiting Avola for lunch! Service was little delayed and two entries were semi-wrong! But it was generously taking care by management! Desperate the situation will go back, so much to try!!!

Service is was less than good and food was bland. Don t recommend to have an event here, they aren t prepared for large parties. Brought out 10 meatballs for a table of 12. The drinks were flat and when made aware of issue they never offered other drinks or asked what we wanted to replace them. All in all was a bad experience for the guest we were hosting.

We went here for a baby shower, kinda large party, the staff was great! However, they seemed pretty unorganized.

We usually love this place. We always sit in the bar area. The pizza is always great. Lately the pasta hasnt been as good as it usually is and the drinks are so bad that we cant finish them and usually just stick to beer. Luckily they have decent beers to choose from (when they arent out). Im hoping they are just working through some kinks with staffing and it gets back to being a great spot...

Slow service, overpriced

Went here for a rehearsal dinner! The service might have been the worst I ve experienced! My drinks would sit empty on the table for 15 minutes without a server in sight! If they were insight the were on their phones. Also when the bride went to mentioned the issue about the service, the manager was so confrontational that I had to call the groom over to get involved. I would suggest not to give this place any of your hard earned money! We had a much better experience at Pjs down the street!

This place has very lousy service and mediocre food at best. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. It was hard to even get our water refilled and we had to get up and do it ourselves after a whole dinner service of being parched. When there was an issue, the manager was extremely rude and aggressive to our party. Definitely spend your money elsewhere and don t bother with this place.

Last night, after a year of eating at home, we decided to have a night out with dinner at Avola. It was amazing! Very nice restaurant; seating was set up for social distancing, staff were friendly and courteous. And the food! We had the Paella and the Black Ink Linguini Scampi; both delicious, but the Scampi won the night. It was SO good. Many thanks to our server Dan, and to Ben for giving us a great first night back!

Menu isnt that varied or great. Service was slow, felt like we were forgotten about. Definitely could have went someplace else better for less money. The olive oil cake was delicious

Fun drinks, interesting mixed cocktails and beer. Couldnt get my standard beer but staff offered great alternatives. Enjoyed finding something new. Good food, only had appetizers. Again different than i normally choose but happy with my selection. Staff both times awesome.

Very good dining experience! Nice decor inside and a pleasant outdoor dining space as well. Nice wine/beer/drink selection. Menu is a little on the small side but well done. Everything we had was delicious! Portions were large too. Service was friendly and outstanding. Good vibes.

This place has great food and super fun cocktails. I unfortunately didn t snap any pictures, but they even had a color changing drink! They also had live music playing all kinds of covers so you are likely going to hear something you like. Plus, the staff are super kind.

I had a really nice experience here with my mother!! our server at the bar was excellent and the food was really really good! The hummus platter and the bianca pizza were both delicious!! The spaghetti Pomodoro was just okay but overall the food and drinks are delicious at a nice range at and fair price. I recommend them.

This has been my go to staple ever since they opened and I understand that it s hard to find reliable people right now and mistakes happen, but lately it sees to happen a lot. And being defensive and argumentative when they ve made a mistake is just poor customer service. I still love the food, but the people less so.

Fantastic food, drinks, music and service. Super friendly staff. Hibiscus rose margarita was amazeballs. Loved the live music. Can t wait to go back.

Came here with one of my closet friends. We ordered half the menu and it did not disappoint. Pizza has that authentic char finish on it from their wood fired brick oven. The mussels were done exceptionally well. Finished with the tiramisu. Yes please.

Really cool place for brunch. Build your own bloody Mary and mimosa bar is perfect to get exactly the drink you want. All the food is delicious especially the stuffed french toast and breakfast pizza.

Never again! Not with all the other restaurant choices in the area. Went for happy hour and there was no room in the bar area. Waitress said, no problem, I ll seat you on the other side! Ordered 2 house wines and we got a 1 pour. Not kidding, it was a joke! I asked and she said it was their typical pour. I took a picture b/c it was so laughable. We ordered from the bar menu and when the bill came, nothing was the happy hour pricing. She said it was b/c we were sitting on the other side of the wall. (But told us initially it was ok) WHAT A JOKE! This place will not survive. This was the second time we tried it here. Last time the food was cold and the sangria sucked. Just being honest.

Absolutely fabulous!! I have a severe allergy to cows milk and they left the cheese and cream out of one of their pasta dishes! It was absolutely delicious!! Our waiter Dan was amazing and tended to our every need! This restaurant is right down the road from our office, so we will definitely be back!!

Great place... almost perfect meal. First round of drinks were fantastic. Second round not so much. The Valencia well either the ginger or the lemon is an ale or something and didnt really jive as a drink. We started off with the pork and beef meatballs and they were amazing. I had the short ribs with a beet and goat cheese mash. My husband had the seafood risotto. Both very good dishes but what would have made them perfect taking the tails off the shrimp and putting a little salt and pepper on the table for peoples tastes. We will be back as the food was very good.

The service was so slow.Pizza was bad,gnocci ok,nothing special,hanger steak was delicious on the edges,but my medium rare was raw on the inside.

We arrived early for our reservation and had a drink at the bar. They have wine on tap and a good microbrew selection. Our meals were fresh and delicious. My wife had a dish that was packed with seafood. Our server was attentive and nice.

I ve had very good experiences here. This place has good food and great service. The Burrata Crostone, and the Soppressata pizza are my current two favorites. The bartender there, Steve, came up with an awesome drink called a Valencia, try that if you go, it s great. If they ever brought back a brodoloni pesto gemelli dish they had In the past I think I could raise this review by a star.

I had Sunday brunch here and the food was delicious. The ricotta doughnuts are really good and so was the cappuccino I ordered. I m really surprised it wasn t more crowded. I will definitely be back during warmer weather so I can enjoy the patio seating that gets morning sunshine.

Stopped in for a weekday lunch at the bar. Great atmosphere and venue. Food wasnt cheap but was very tasty. Beer selection was satisfactory (actually had one of the best beers Ive had in a while). Will definitely recommend and return.

Food and service were excellent. Brittany is an awesome server. She brought me a steak knife and noticed my husband was missing his fork. And brought a replacement.

I went for brunch. They had a beautiful mimosa and bloody Mary bar. The mimosas were original and out of this world. I couldnt believe there werent more people there for Sunday brunch. The food was amazing. We started off with fresh made donuts. They along with everything else were a healthy portion. Definitely the best donuts Ive ever had. (And Ive had a lot of donuts) The breakfast pizza was raved about. The chef made a special omelette that was amazing. There were also excellent ricotta pancakes that were topped with beautiful and delicious fresh fruit. I dont live close (about 50 minutes away) but I will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere, good portion sizes

I ve been going here for dinner since it opened and it s never disappointed. But the really impressive part now is how AMAZING their take out quality really is and the wonderful Easter dinner we enjoyed also. Their flavors and combos of herbs and spices are the best! I highly recommend.

Always enjoy Avola, so nice to be back after 3 months! Everything is always amazing and beautifully presented. If you havent visited Avola, you need to!!

This was our third visit and it will be our last, I ordered the Berkshire pork and it was very low grade. Having spent 30 years in the food business it was obviously not what I ordered especially at $36:00. Also my wife got sick from the shrimp/mussels risotto. Would not recommend this place.

The dishes and libations are delicious!! Our server, Justin, was welcoming and attentive. Great dinner in the charming outdoor patio. Highly recommended!

If you haven t been here recently, you have to come back. Great new menu. Squid Ink Pasta is fantastic. Husband said the best burger he s had out in a long time. Must Go!

Excellent food! A bit noisy, but not too noisy.

Its ok. Pleasant decor and a nice food, though expensive considering nearly everything we ordered came with a mountain of bread. I cant give it more stars: our bill was $90 for three small plates (mostly bread) and two drinks. Our waitress was perhaps the saddest person in there - it a clear she didnt want to work a Friday night. Its LOUD - it needs acoustic absorbing material to soften all those hard surfaces. Finally, a part of the ceiling actually fell into the next table during our meal. It was a miracle nobody was hurt. Somebody else stated they felt this place lacks identity. Id agree and say that I just get the feeling this place isnt quite ready for business yet; physically or operationally.

Overpriced bar food. Pizza was burned on top and undercooked on bottom. Waiter was also bartender so service was slow. Desserts were decent and best part of the meal. Would not go back

Staff is great, food is a bit funky. It was all cooked perfectly, mussels tender, shrimp just right, but the sauces were odd. Not bad but unexpected. The wine and beer choices were sound. Overall I think we might go back and try it again.

We had an official lunch party at Avola, beautiful place nice comfortable sitting arrangement, interior is beautifully designed. Food was good as well. I think its a great place for both personal and official get together.

Im so mad because this place has so much potential. the decor is a gorgeous, the bar area is something that you would see usually in Manhattan. So ,like I said, it has a lot of potential. That being said, the service was subpar. The bartender barely spoke, I had to ask for a menu three times. And I still didnt get it from her, I had to ask the host for a menu. Then, it took 45 minutes to get a pizza to go. On a Monday night!! I probably wont go back again because of the service. A shame because the menu looked good.

A very nice laid out restaurant in a small strip mall. Very modern and attractive inside and they have some outside seating as well. We had a seafood dish and one of their pizzas. The seafood dish was very good tasting and was hearty with all types of different items. Would recommend this dish, although at $28, a slight bit too much. I had the meat brick oven pizza and for $18, it was not a good value. Size of pizza was right around 13-14, but the toppings were only on about 60% of the pizza and the edges were nothing but dough. Being oven fired, it was charred a bit too much around the edges since there were no toppings. Service was outstanding and the sound level was quite low for an open bar scene location. We were able to easily talk to each other.

I would love to give a 4 for their stone fired pizza which are really yum but their baby gnocchi pasta is so undercooked and very chewy. Not all appetizers are good. But one should definitely try their pizzas

Unbearably loud. Very poor service. Dishes sounded good, but very mediocre due to low quality ingredients. Waitress apologized for poor service, and one of our entrees was removed from the bill. If Sicily had an Olive Garden, this would be it

Nice place for happy hour. Tonight we stayed for dinner after reading the specials. The burrata small plate and pasta dishes were wonderful. Highly recommended.

Great food, atmosphere and drinks! I keep coming back!

I have been here a few times and tonight was the last time I will be back. Live music is way to loud and does not fit the theme Avola is targeting. I could barely hold a conversation with my family. If you want live music, have them perform after 10pm not at 7pm on a Saturday evening. Food is overpriced and average at best. Service is slow but you cannot hold that against the waitress. The chef is slower than molasses on a hot summer day. Hour and half to have our food served. Overall I tried to like Avola however, I am disappointed that they havent worked out the kinks of being a new restaurant in an up and coming area.

Great food, great service

Was pleased when we entered. Nice ambience and decor. Definitely has potential to be 5 stars, but must act quickly. Dining area and silver seemed pretty clean. Big plus. Food was so-so. Greek salad was a little warm, very small for an entree priced salad, and lettuce a little wilted. Margarita pizza was just a regular overcheesed run of mill pizza. Waiter with nose ring had hands all over plates he brought to us. Yech! I dont want the hands that have been handling other persons dirty dishes and napkins and dirty rags rubbing all over the plates we will be eating off of.

This place is okay

Walked into very loud music on a Thursday night (prime time at 7 o clock). The music was nice but too loud, while the restaurant had little to no people in it. We ordered and it took 25 minutes for us to get our apps with no one in the Resturant. While the appetizers weren t bad the entrees were atrocious. Some of the worst pasta I ve ever had which is belittling to an Italian Resturant. Never coming back!

We had an awesome experience last night! Reservations for four, the seating is tight, very close together is my only criticism. A bit of a wait to be greeted by our server, so was concerned after reading some negative reviews but once our drink orders were taken everything was very timely! Appetizers were delicious! Lump crab and tuna was top notch, the cheese platter was delicious. Entrees ordered were the short ribs, the risotto and also the crab gnocchi, all were extremely tasty and portion size perfect! Ended the night with Tiramisu and donuts. OMG the tiramisu was totally amazing! Drinks were pear margaritas and old fashioned both were so good!! Overall, it was a great place to celebrate a birthday and hang out with good friends. Will definitely go back!

Too dark to read the menu. Service was not very good. One of the dishes came with raw salmon. They ran out of one of their signature desserts. Very noisy!

One of our favorite places! Avola is a standout in the sea of mediocre restaurants in our area.
