Food was OK just took more than 1 hour for pizza. More concerning was the cigarette smoke billowing in from the pizza guys on smoko. Owners should be embarrassed.

I went to Rossini with some friends. I had a Carbonara for dinner with a margarita pizza, I also finished the night with a tiramisu. It was wonderful with great service and hospitality. I definitely recommend going into this restaurant!!

Never disappointed with the quality of food, the friendliness and hospitality of the staff and speed of the service. Could not recommend a restaurant more! They have plenty of options to suit dietary requirements, and there is great parking availability. Kids are welcomed and treated well by the staff. Always feel like Im at home whenever I eat there!

Was recommended by a friend to come here. Ordered 15 pizzas and some pastas for my birthday with little notice. They were all so delicious and they catered for me with no issues! They truely delivered! 10/10

By far the best Italian in the area! The lasagna is the best ive ever had and their pizzas are all 10/10. I also had the veal when dining in and the quality was outstanding. They are slightly more expensive than I typically pay but the quality and serving sizes sell for themselves.

Absolute rip off for quality of the food. And the cost of sparkling water!! I have no words. Won t be going back and would not recommend. For what we spent (10 people) we could have eaten MUCH nicer food elsewhere.

Best Italian food at Malvern love everything

Another great night dining at Rossini thoroughly enjoyed it with couple of friends food was tasty and delicious presentation was great even my friends enjoyed it immensely thank you Rossini.

Went to dinner with the family on Saturday night at Rossini s and it never ceases to amaze me that the service and the food is always scrumptious especially the seafood marinara .Its always a pleasure dining at Rossini s my family thoroughly enjoy as were celebrating a family birthday highly recommend.

We were squashed into the front window with 7 people the waitress was American and very friendly we have been there quite a few times but the prices are excessive $14 for a glass of red $78 for a bottle $43 for a parma we didn t order dessert $16 for an ice cream dish We won t be back

My favourite Italian restaurant in Melbourne. The owners are divine. The meals are delicious, big and well priced.

We dined at this restaurant for the first time as a party of six. Very attentive service, delicious food and extremely generous in portion sizing. We had a little round table tucked in the back corner which was perfect for us for conversation. The restaurant was busy and cosy. We will certainly be back.

Let s start with the food. Traditional and delicious. But for me, no dish, no matter how delicious, is worth rude, condescending and horrible service. Customer service 101 - don t blame your staff and customers, and don t tell your customers you don t need anymore. Ordered two adult mains and two pizzas for the kids, one of who has an allergy so ham and sauce with no cheese. Two mains came. No mention of the pizzas. Mains finished. Owner was to check on the pizzas but never came back. Mains cleared. Asked where the pizzas were again. They finally arrived 30 mins after the mains had been cleared, but the cheese-free allergy pizza came with cheese. No apology, only exasperation and eye rolling from the owners. Blamed the waiter and the fact it was cheese free. 15 mins later, now a total of 45 mins after mains were cleared. Kids over it. Went to pay - owner asked how it was. I told her waiting 30 mins for one kids pizza and then another 15 mins for other wasn t great. Also that the cheese free came with cheese. She rolled her eyes and replied, you don t need to come back. So I have taken her advice - we haven t been back. Guess they have so many customers they don t need anymore.

Came with a few friends for a dinner. Best service in Melbourne, waiters are friendly and owners are very passionate and care about customers experience. Best authentic Italian food, like my nonnas. Will be coming back for more.

Where do I begin, Rossini s is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne if not the entire country, from the breathtaking food to the marvellous staff, complete across the board, this family run restaurant is a must visit!

A great atmosphere filled with friendly staff, and amazing food. The service was immaculate, having my meals arrive to me in an orderly manner. The authentic Italian cuisine was a memorable experience, would highly recommend Rossini!

Well what a disappointment, after living in Malvern for over 30 years we revisited Rossini for a family dinner. After having to stand up and ask for service at the bar for both drinks and to order our meal we pretty much felt like we were an inconvenience. Especially for a Tuesday night which was not busy. Needless to say we will not be back. $400 for a table of 6 (2 which were children) it was an expensive trip down memory lane. We ll head to our Bayside favourite from now on. Back to hospitality school for Rossini.

Was a bit apprehensive about returning to the Rossini institution from some of the previous reviews but went back to an old family favourite and it delivered. Delicious meals, generous servings & friendly service.....Rossini still has it!!

There are quite a few negative reviews on Google but I found Rossini to be quite good. The food is tasty. The location is great. The service is friendly.

Fantastic place always go here for a nice warm meal on a cold day, Tortellini Alla Panna is the best and the gorgeous lady that served us last night was sweet and attentive and even gave a good TV show recommendation!

Busy, accommodating little place pumping out the good food and vibes. Seems popular with families so maybe a little hectic early in the evening. Wines from here and overseas, lovely wait staff.

Great spot, however go there starving, portion sizes are HUGE.

Food was fine, service was fine but.... I know its been tough for places like this but there are currently checkin laws, QR codes to scan and vaccination records to view prior to seating. If you want to feel safe this is probably not the place to go at present due to the hit and miss check in process that we saw.

Ordered a Gluten-free ham and pineapple on Uber Eats. The pizza cost $36 so I assume you would be awesome. I have nothing against paying for good quality food. But, they sent me a subpar pizza with that fake shoe string looking ham and canned pineapples on an average base. I could ve got the same thing from Domino s for $10. For $36 I expect much higher quality ingredients on a pizza, perhaps actual slices of ham and fresh pineapple. Very disappointed. Either lower your prices or up your standards.

Rossinis isnt what it used to be. Its now standard fare at higher than average prices. A revamp is sadly needed.

Only deliver when they feel like it, I have called this place for food deliverys in my area and all the time they say we dont have a driver. Food is pretty good though when you can get it from this store. The delivery isnt put under my name but I live at the same address as the person and share the meal with them.

The pasta was undercooked, hard and cold on the inside. The wine selection was tiny, and shockingly terrible. Pretty disappointing about the Amex surcharge, it seemed as though she made up the extra charge on the spot. It doesn t cost 3.5%, don t be tight. If you re going to charge that, have the surcharge on a sign and don t just make it up when you see my credit card. It s the cost of business. I cannot believe 2 mains and 1 glass of wine came to $78. This place is a total rip off. This place has gone down in recent years. I have fond memories of coming here when I was a child. Sadly that is not the case anymore.

Nice place to visit on a weeknight. Good service and the vegetarian pizza was great. Not on the menu, but we asked for some eggplant on the pizza and it was a tasty addition. This place is BYO and also licenced. Recommended for a quiet evening.

Family favourite but expensive Italian restaurant

The worst food I ve ever had. My wife and I thought we would have an Italian dinner locally, that was a mistake. I have celiacs disease so I rang first to check on the gluten free options. I was told we have pasta and GF pizzas. We arrived and was shown to our table, now it starts to turn into a very un pleasant culinary experience. We shared an entree, I ordered a GF base pizza and requested it to have prosciutto, tomato sauce on the base and mozzarella only. The waitress said she would check with the kitchen to ok my order, so all was good. It arrived at our table completely smothered in cheap process ham and the base looked as though it had just been microwave. I called the waitress over and said this is not prosciutto and her answer was we don t have any. I said this is not what I ordered can I see the menu to order something else. I ordered gluten free pasta with bolognese sauce and that arrived, the pasta was so under done I couldn t eat it. My wife s meal was so cold so she made an ettempt to eat some and decided we had enough of the disgusting food and poor service. On paying our bill we conveyed our feelings about our meals to the manager. There was a light hearted sorry, and then she went on packing their Uber Eats bags. We dine out 3 times a week and have been doing so for many years. Go and spend your hard earned money somewhere else

Was expecting to get a decent pizza as they are so expensive.. I was extremely underwhelmed, the pizza is better at pizza hut and half the price. Rossini is a rip off and dont give good value for money.

Great restaurant, lovely people and excellent value for money. Unfortunately they use suburban hotdog ham on the pizzas, avoid that ingredient and its 5*.

A good regular family Italian restaurant. Good food and wine selection too.

Ordered traditional lasagne and it came out cold after they told me it has been re heated in the microwave then when I told them it is cold in the middle they bought it back so hot it burnt the roof of my mouth. Definitely wont be coming here ever again.

Good Italian fare

Ordered garlic bread and it came burnt like charcoal. Had ravioli and gnocchi and had no taste or flavour. Looked and tasted like supermarket pasta out of a carton. Definitely not worth $30 per plate!

Authentic staff from Italy. Our waiter even sung us a song. The food is straight out of italy. So delicious and authentic. Other staff very friendly. Didnt need to book as arrived early. But may if arriving after 7. I recommend this place. We have been back twice now and will again soon. Reasonable prices.

Great pasta pizza

After attending Rossini s for several years, we have noticed a significant decline across the board in recent times. Incredibly rude service both over the phone and at the counter. Tonight was the final straw when half our take away order was missing, we called and were refused an apology as the lady at the other end found it it quite humerous. We are not the only family in the area who are fed up with the service and unfortunately will not be returning.

What you would expect from a traditional Italian pizza restaurant. It has been here for decades, one of the longest-lasting eateries in Glenferrie Rd Malvern, and it would not have survived that long, rum by the same people, if the locals did not like it. I have always eaten in.

Been here many a time for take away pizza but mainly during the cricket season. I like to vary the capricciosa and its never a problem and made perfectly. Probably close to one of the best pizzas Ive had.

Best lasagne bolognese ever!!

Been here a few times and found it to be somewhat inconsistent. The food is fine but not great (although they are quite allergy friendly for an Italian restaurant) and the service is ok. Prices are reasonable but note that take away is a good deal cheaper than eating in. Cant say Id recommend it over other places in the area (of which there are a lot) but definitely worth a shot if youre a fan of good pasta.
