Visiting Malvern we checked for good Indian style restaurants and found Everest Eatery. It was quite busy for a Thursday evening - a good sign... We took a couple of nepalese style dishes both of which were really good. Next time were in Malvern we would definitely pay another visit.

My wife and I went for her birthday dinner. The same mixed veg was served inside momos and as biryani curry. Wrong order was brought and it took almost 50 minutes to bring the order. My wife couldnt eat the food because some the dishes didnt even taste like Nepalese/Indian food. Didnt expect such service.

Used to be a local here but never again. Ordered an £80.00 delivery for it to turn up 2.5 hours late and cold. Called for a refund / voucher which I don t think it too unreasonable and was advised it was too expensive compensate, laughed at me and then owner hung up the phone.

Everest has always been really nice but last night the food was seriously under spiced, delivery just a bit late and no poppodoms, most disappointing meal I have had from there.

Best Indian food in town! I highly recommend the rogan josh with naan of choice, the korma is also amazing when looking for little less spice. The food has deep flavours, and the portions are generous!

Highly recommend! If I could, I would give more than 5 stars! The food is delicious, not very spicy for those that cannot tolerate the spice. Highly recommend the momo and the nauni curry and the portions are very good, its a very good value for money. The environment has a cosy atmosphere with a superb service. Raz also deserves five stars, made our evening fantastic, always with a smile, always checking on everyone, made us feel so welcome! In the end we were offered a glass of port wine. There is nothing to fault! This is definitely a hidden gem in Malvern and highly recommend!!! Will be returning very soon.

It might have been because Id spent the day walking the length of the Malvern Hills, but the Everest Himalayan Lamb curry was one of the best Ive ever eaten and as for the portion size, well, you dont get portions like that in London. Thanks for a terrific meal!

This is a really good restaurant and well worth a visit. There was a really good selection of specials on offer and I chose one of those as an alternative to the normal Indian restaurant offerings. I had the Mountain (?) Curry that was really flavoursome with just the right amount of heat for me. The staff are friendly and attentive. It was a Saturday evening and the place was packed and buzzing!

Consistently great food and excellent friendly service

Ordered mix grill and they delivered lamb chops, they did not believe me so they sent a driver to pick up and they refused to give me a full refund on the wrong meal,I can have money off the next order which they have said before on wrongly delivered items and this never happened! the manager behaved like a small child and said if I have a refund I cannot order from them in the future! Shocking is a understatement

Simply the best curry in Malvern, staff are so friendly, welcoming and food is top notch, why go anywhere else? We spent Xmas day here and it was fabulous, we were so well looked after we just can t recommend the Everest more. We have never had a bad meal. If you get delivery just plan ahead and ask for delivery times- food this good is worth waiting for. Well done Raj and team!

Hi , I find myself in an awkward position but the last meal we had from Everest Eatery was disappointing. The starter was superb but my main course was not as good as in the past. My wifes meal was not what she ordered and part of the meal was missing. We had an email from Everest Eatery asking for comments , we responded , but no reply. It takes ages to build a reputation and can be lost very quickly. I understand as with all business people do have off days but I am really disappointed in a lack of response. Next time we go rather than order a takeaway we will dine at the restaurant and pass comment on that experience. To potential customers who have not been to the Everest Eatery i am sure you will be happy with your meal. It may well be that our ordered meal may have been incorrectly packed and my wife received someone else meal but who knows if they did not respond to our critical comments

We have eaten at Everest Eatery four or five times and that speaks for itself ! The food is delicious , the staff courteous and the premises clean . The flavours in the dishes are superb , the fish dishes and biryani my favourites . Wonderful vegetarian dish of paneer biryani , flavours bursting out ! Parking: Free parking on road opposite the restaurant .

Really good food. Gurkha beer lovely too. Wonderful staff. We will definitely return as we have done over the last few years. We had the Gurkha special, Himalayan curry and the Chicken Pharshi. Also had chicken and lamb momo to start which were lovely as always.

We love our curry, only visiting the area so it was our first time here. 10/10 If you like Lamb you must try the Jomsom so tender, such a different flavoured sauce, and what s more, they ll make it to whatever level of spicy you like. Excellent service - the staff clearly enjoy working. There are lots of smiles which was just lovely . And it was so reasonably priced

We visited Malvern for a day trip and had read The Everest Eatery was one of the best places to eat in town. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant had a great atmosphere with a vast choice of food and drink. The curry was outstanding. I chose one of their own special dishes and it certainly did not disappoint. One of the best curries I ve had! Large choice of dishes on the menu, food was cooked to perfection with very generous portions and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back whenever we are next in town.

First time here and wow. From walking in to leaving everything was first rate. I had a vegetable biryani and I have to say it was the best Ive had in a long time.

Very friendly, absolutely delicious food, one of the best, if not the best, that weve been to. I had ghurka special (lamb) which was AMAZING! Hubby had lamb madras which was fantastic. Really tender lamb in both dishes. It melted in the mouth. Were only here for 10 days but definitely intend return before going home. Recommend wholeheartedly.

7 of us ate there yesterday. Between us we had a pretty broad range of dishes - starters, mains etc - meat, fish, prawns, paneer. Everyone loved the food - all the flavours came through without being overwhelming. Service great - attentive but discreet. All agreed this place is going to become a habit.

My wife and I went here last night, Tuesday. It was early and nice and quiet. We hadnt been here in over two years. The food was very good and the service brilliant. The sag a loo was magnificent, my mixed Tawa was cracking and the Sheek Kebabs were beautiful. My wifes butter king prawn and nan were superb quality too. In the last month we have tried, Yak and Yeti, Bay Leaf, Signniture and Anupam, and the Everest is the clear winner for us. Its clean and the ambience was very enjoyable. I used to use the Shenapour in Hagley for 4 years it was top class and the Everest isnt far off in my opinion. We will go back for sure.

My rating is about average Im afraid. 1st time weve used Everest Eatery and Id say the last. Ordered online which was quick and efficient and it said it would be 1 hr. It took 2 hrs and the delivery person didnt even apologise for the lateness, not even any complimentary poppadoms as other takeaways offer. The starters seemed reheated as they were dry and the samosas where hard. Food was OK but certainly not the best weve had.

The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. It is light and airy with plenty of space between the tables There is a very comprehensive menu and alcohol is also available. The service was very good and I found the food to be most enjoyable. I will certainly make a return visit

Honestly, this ranks amongst the best food Ive ever eaten. The restaurant is nice - neither ridiculously fancy nor really basic, but the food is out of this world. We had the momos and Nepali sekuwa to start, and the Himalayan curry and jomsom as mains. All of it was fabulous. Slightly sour, ightly sweet, and altogether delicious. Highly recommend!

I have been to the Everest Eatery on numerous occasions and keep going back because the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I like to try different dishes and I think a few new ones have been added to the menu, however I keep going back to my favourite named the Jomson (the chefs special secret recipe) it is simply exquisite . Try it for yourself, you wont be disappointed.

We ordered a takeaway, was missing a portion of tikka masala chicken as she was pregnant so very unhappy! madras sauce was way hotter than madras should be which is a shame as the taste was nice. The tikka masala sauce was tasteless. Was looking forward to this all day but left disappointed.

Ordered a takeaway from here tonight, the madras was hot enough to ignite a nuclear bomb. Hs ruined my stay in Malvern due to not being able to venture further than 5 feet from a water closet.

Went here for my 26th birthday and it was the best curry I ve ever had! Portions are extremely generous and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

I cant see why this restaurant gets such rave reviews. My wife and I had dinner here. We had poppadoms and pickles to start with. They were fine but nothing special. As this is a Nepalese restaurant I thought I would try something different from the chefs specials and opted for the Jomsom whilst my wife opted for a Bhuna from the Indian selection. The chicken Jomsom just didnt work. This was a dark, Rich, spiced sauce which would probably of worked well with lamb but was way off the mark with chicken. My wife found the Bhuna fine although it lacked the tomato one usually associates with a Bhuna. The service was slow.

We ate here quite late on a Sunday evening and the service was brilliant. Lots of paneer options which is a great. The food was beautiful and we were made to feel very welcome. Cobra on draft was an added bonus!

Appalling customer service, obnoxious and rude staff. Made a reservation for 5pm, only to go there and be told they serve food only after 5.30pm, despite clearly saying on the schedule that they open at 5 pm. Avoid, its not worth it!

Out of all the Indian restaurants I have tried in the UK (and its a long list), The Everest Eatery was the best by a country mile. The food served was as close as it can get to proper Indian/North Indian cusine and no, the usual takeaways dont serve Indian food. The restaurant exterior isnt overly inspiring but they more than make up for it, with an explosion of flavours in their food craft. With fresh produce and a delightful balance of spices, the dishes were nailed to perfection. My review is based on a single visit and I intend to go to the restaurant for another meal before I leave Malvern (already gutted that I cant pack this restaurant with me back to the North East).

Generally good. The decor and ambience is nice, waiting staff efficient and polite. On to the food.. Good selection of dishes. The meat to vegetable ratio is questionable in dishes like the Jalfraizi. The naan bread is overpriced and double the average price of naan bread in a similar restaurant in London (where Im from). Its only flour, water, salt and yeast so it doesnt need to be close to £3. It is a good establishment to experience South Asian food for the demographic of people within that rural town (away from London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds)

If Carling did Nepalese food it would probably be the best this side of the Himalayas, but they dont.... ....The Everest Eatery, Malvern DO and in our humble opinion, it is THE BEST this side of the Himalayas. We have been dining with Raj and the team (regulars Ganesh, Himal & Bishal to name a few) since the restaurant opened a few years ago now (and before) and felt it was time to give the team some credit for what they have achieved and what they continue to deliver. Consistently prepared fabulous food, professional attentive service and warm welcoming friendship. We travel, from Worcester to Malvern without hesitation to either dine in or to just collect take away. (home delivery available within a radius) Dont stick to one dish at the expense of numerous other potential favourites. With a great depth and variety of spicing and flavours, from the subtle to the intense (..its not just about the level of heat), there is always another dish to explore, whether it be vegan, vegetarian or meat based. Take it from a couple of critical diners who sit on all sides of the fence when it comes to gastronomic pleasures depending on how the mood takes us....and dont worry about portion size & value for money. We never hesitate to recommend the Everests food & dining experience to friends & colleagues, always with positive feedback. If youre only familiar with the UK Indian dine-in food experience treat yourself to another level with authentic Nepalese cookery at its best. Clean place, heavy food, too salty and overspiced. Not our cup of tea.

If you have any dietary requirements please avoid this place. They think lamb is vegan. They claimed all food on the menu can be served vegan, I foolishly trusted that and they served me up a vegetarian option FULL of dairy. They are 100%totally clueless. If you have no diatry requirements the currys are amazing and full of flavour. My plant based decision is recant so I can appreciate a good curry.

The best Indian in Malvern

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at The Everest Eatery tonight as part of our break on the Malvern hills. We love our Nepalese restaurant in our home town, so we picked dishes from the Nepalese selection rather than the usual Indian/Bangladeshi options. We were not disappointed, actually quite pleasantly surprised by the depth of flavour and rich textures in both the mild and the spicy mains we shared. The service was friendly but unobtrusive, and although the restaurant was full on a Tuesday night, the atmosphere was enjoyable and relaxed. Definitely coming back again next time we visit Malvern!

Definitely one of the best curries I have ever had. The King Prawn Chana Parikar has a delicious rich taste with a lovely bit of heat that comes through. The side dishes are equally delicious and I had a lovely roti with just a bit of crisp on the outside. The service is also excellent - friendly and polite. Thoroughly recommended.

The Everest Eatery is without question my favourite restaurant. I live in Malvern and I feel the town is so lucky to have this place. With its award winning chef and extremely polite and helpful staff it is a must for people visiting our great town. I just love the Nepalese dishes which I am working my way through by the way! I took my father there this weekend just gone for his birthday who is now unfortunately confined to a wheelchair and although they do not have a mobility ramp the staff helped my father in and out of the restaurant and cared to our every need. Keep up the good work guys.

Went there today, was greeted very welcoming and the place was very clean and they followed all the safety and hygiene guidelines, they kept the social distancing. Loved having conversations with the staff, they were very polite and friendly. They definitely look after their customers!! The food was out of this world, definitely the best in town, and price was very decent! Loved it, worth it, and can not recommend enough!

We ordered takeaway. Unbelievably good lamb dishes. We ordered two and reckon there was half a lamb in there. Very tender and large pieces of meat, perfectly balanced sauces. Peshwari Naan also superb. Friendly as well. The website is a bit tricky on an Android phone and its too easy to lose what youve already entered. Its also not clear when your food might be delivered/available if youre ordering outside of normal opening hours - there doesnt seem to be a I want it for option. But its worth persevering. Or just ring them!

Awful. Made a reservation for 8pm. Arrived on time and was asked to wait repeatedly. At 8:25 they seated a group of 4 without a reservation. My table still not ready. Cant comment on the food but it seems like a very average typical Indian restaurant.

Excellent tasty Nepalese and Indian food at a decent price and with very friendly, even behind the facemasks, staff. We arent local but it was recommended and Im pleased it was. The place, including the toilets, was very clean, the tables were spaced out for Covid compliance and the staff were careful when dealing with us. Would recommend to others.

Just called in on the recommendation of our B&B owner, wow what a meal I just never wanted it to end. Our first time in a Nepalese restaurant, the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. We explained our naivety to their menu and the waiter promised that no matter what we ordered we would enjoy. Putting it to the test we began with salmon tikka and nepali sekuwa and we just couldnt decide which was our favourite, both incredibly delicious. Main course, gurkha special, a chicken dish and pharsi chicken curry. The taste of both was sublime, neither blew your head off and despite their 2 chilli rating they were towards the milder end of that scale. Having eaten in many curry houses up and down the country this one is head and shoulders above any other. If you were to only ever eat one Nepalese/Indian meal in your lifetime make sure it is here. An incredible meal and one I will remember for a very long time. The waiter was so right.

This restaurants food is delicious. We focused on the Nepalese side of their menu and werent disappointed. The momo dumplings with dipping sauce was a particular highlight. Everything was beautifully cooked (the lamb was melt in mouth!) and delicately spiced. Highly recommended

I was missing Indian restaurant in UK and I came across with this..superb food, elegant ambience and friendly staff. Must try!!!

The best Indian in the area by a country mile. The food is authentic with fresh ingredients and spices. Loads of great vegetarian dishes, i especially love the deal makhani, paneer sagham and vegetable manchurian. They are also absolutely lovely people!

Fantastic food! Amazing authentic Nepalese food, the range is great and the flavours outstanding. Cant believe we hadnt tried it before to be honest. We will be regularly now for sure. Well done to all the staff!
