Green Dragon, 126 Guarlford Rd, Malvern WR14 3QT, United Kingdom
Evening amazing with the little ones cant fault the food or drink and dessert was spot on
This was a pub my dad used 60+ years ago and I would say retains much of the old character with a modern kitchen and dining area. Just a short visit.
It looks a bit dated but quality never goes out of style. The food is lovely and well priced. Caught the start of a live music night and wish we could have stayed as it sounded great.
Lovely food and very friendly service. We always enjoy our visits here.
My second visit here kindly invited by the same friends. Always delicious home cooked food and a good variety of fayre. Excellent value for a very affordable price. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Very reasonably priced food served in a room with lovely Christmassy atmosphere, and nice and warm. Very tasty salmon mousse starter, nice game casserole and good quality ice cream.
Nice proper 'old school' pub, decent food including a few vegan options. Excellent charming service from host/ Landlady who is super lovely and could teach many folk in the hospitality business what good service is. Impressed.
Family run pub, with real ale, best homemade food. Recommend the soup always delicious, the Haddock, Salmon, Fisherman's Bake, Steak and ale pie, Beef Rendang, Vegetarian and Vegan options available. Cheesecake always different. Live Music currently twice a month on Saturdays from 9pm.
Amazing experience

Like stepping back In time. Spend some money on the place and it could be great. But it looks like its ready to fall down at the moment, we were going to eat but after pulling up and getting a drink decided not for us.
Salmon fillet was excellent, beer very reasonable, highly recommended

Sue and Mark were really accommodating to our rather unique requirements. With plenty of parking for steam engines, and a plentiful supply of coffee. Mark allowed us to meet the newest member of their family, pablo the baby lab. Sue even poured the coffee fresh for us in the bars comfortable sofas, including the milk - excellent service.
Can only comment on the bar as I didnt eat. Staff and customers very friendly. Nice drop of DoomBar Wheelchair accessibility: One small (very) step to negotiate.
Good food good atmosphere all at a reasonable price. Great landlady Nothing is too much trouble Food
Great little independent pub and restaurant. The food is good quality and not expensive. Plenty of parking. Its well worth a visit.
Warm and comfortable with efficient and friendly service. Food was good at a competitive price. Would definitely visit again.
Very attentive and delicious food, would recommend the lamb
A fantastic pub and the most friendly landlords and locals you can imagine. Highly recommended!
Very nice traditional British pub and very nice staff
Excellent food, friendly and excellent service, lovely dining room
OK but the place is a little run down & could do with a refurb
Friendly and professional service great entertainment
I must admit Id not heard of the Green Dragon, which is hardly surprising as I live nearly 20 miles away from it. But today I was invited to a birthday party there, and what a treat it turned out to be! The buffet food was delicious and all home-made, and the hosts were very friendly. Ive looked at their menu online and would love to return to sample their regular menu, which is all reasonably priced. Few vegan items were on the menu, but the landlord said that if he was told there would be vegans when booking the table, he would ensure there would be ample choice. Car parking is good, and everything is on the same level and therefore accessible for wheelchair users.
Lovely homely pub, decided to try the food, was not disappointed! Reasonably priced and great service, good selection of well kept beers
First time here and what a find lovely grounds and the food was excellent will definitely come back when Im down here again
Beautiful meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Good menu and very well cooked. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you both.

Very nice restaurant. Food was really good, prices reasonable, service excellent, would definitely go again.
Great pub
It was like walking back in time. The food was OK but the decor needs upgrading. The outside looked very unkept.
I cant say much about here as I only attended a music night.. everyone seemed friendly!..
Amazing home cooked food is literally the best home cooked pub food in the area. The owners Mark and Sue are lovely as well, i have been going there for years and it never disappoints me!

We ate here for our wedding anniversary and it was lovely Sue was warm and welcoming and really made a fuss of us,roses, candles and even anniversary sprinkles on the table, we felt so spoilt. Food was delicious and the general atmosphere was lovely. Will definitely come again when back in the area.
Nice country pub that does a great pint of Doom Bar
Excellent food, friendly service and pleasant surroundings.
Friendly owners, good beer and great food. Hubby had a steak which he says was cooked to perfection and I had a vegetable (vegan) pie which was homemade and delicious. Had such a nice evening sitting in the late sun, drinking beer and eating fantastic food.
lovely food . from the Churchill family
Excellent!
Great restaurant, fantastic open mic nights
I had crab cakes as a starter, and slow cooked beef. Both were delicious. My husband had pate as a starter, and steak pie. He was equally pleased with the tasty food of high quality. We can highly recommend this pub for a warm welcome and good quality food.
Damp cold, needs up dating or pulling down. Toilets not good.
Always super.
Small portions of average food at best
Good parking
A proper local but anyone will be more than welcome. A restaurant and separate bar, with music nights on Saturdays and an open Mic night on Wednesdays. Run by the owners, Mark and Sue, with help from family and friends. The restaurant: very well done, delicious, food. Pub classics but with a few innovations, and you wont always see a roast on the menu. Book in advance to ensure you get a table, it gets busy. All prepared fresh in house. Some recommendations: start with the chicken liver and bacon Paté (smooth robust flavour). From the mains, the roast beef (melts in the mouth, done in a rich red wine sauce), the lamb (again very tender, served with gravy) or the Haddock (wonderful smokiness with a delicious creamy sauce). All come with a choice of potatoes and veggies. For dessert, the treacle tart with ginger (a triumph, all Treacle tarts should be with ginger) or the red Berry Pavlova (the sharpness contrasts beautifully with the sweet pavlova). All very good value given the quality. The pub: a few tables, sofas and bar stalls. On busy nights the place fills up fast so get there early. A good choice of local ales with regular rotation. Classic lagers available too. Full wine list from the restaurant or a handful of red and white wines to choose from for a quick glass. Wide range of spirits behind the bar. Great atmosphere, friendly faces. Brilliant service here. The food comes quickly and with a smile. Behind the bar theyll always be someone to chat to.

Great food service, and food and pub separate great pub and restaurant
A charming place, away from the hustle and bustle of an average pub.
Friendly, attentive staff and good home made food at reasonable prices; they are also one of the few pubs in Malvern that cater for vegans. #HighlyRecommend
We really enjoyed our visit to the Green dragon. The restaurant was very nicely finished with a welcoming feel to it and the waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious with lots of options to choose from. Even had a separate vegetarian menu. I highly recommend a visit.

Nice friendly pub great atmosphere felt very welcome
As my local Im fond of this place, Mark & Sue who run it, and barmaid Julie. They make people welcome. Its a community pub with good spirit. Music nights every Wednesday and often on Saturdays too. Theres a restaurant but Ive never eaten there. I hear its good.
Really good place to eat with older relatives, because the service is attentive, its not packed and busy, and there is not background music which is so tough when hearing is impaired. Also great choice of vegan food done well.
We were in a party of 12 and we were waited on very well our every need taken care of. The food was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble.
