52 Clarence Rd, Malvern WR14 3EQ, United Kingdom
Traditional, laid-back inn with a covered patio and garden, serving ales from Wye Valley Brewery.
A classic English pub with a great atmosphere. A model for everyone else to follow. Oh, and well-kept beer from Wye Valley Breweries!
Fish and chips were not great tbh , service was good and landlady was pleasant, I would recommend investing in better fish and chips to be honest,
We were there on Sunday for the music Kim and him they ere very good the landlord and landlady were excellent very friendly the staff was also of the same mould will definitely go again Kev Martin and Georgi
I went at a Saturday lunchtime and it was in fairness quiet, a couple of good well kept ales is always welcome. Didn't try the food but had some good independent crisps, a nice place but a little quiet for my taste
Beer and lager from the Wye Valley Brewery. Hard garden seating with a calming water feature. All uphill going home, so cab.
A friendly pub serving a big selection of beers. An enclosed covered garden with ample seats means you can enjoy a pint regardless of the weather. Ample parking nearby, too.
I really liked the atmosphere. The staff were really helpful and lovely. Great place! Edit: coming back a year later the manager or owner idk which was really rude to my friend. Shame cause all the other staff are really nice
Nice old fashioned pub on the outskirts of Malvern, named after the world famous car brand that is produced here. Beautiful and quirky if you want a quiet drink with a fantastic range of ales, beers and wines. Lovely front beer garden that was rather busy when we arrived and is dog friendly. Pint of Pravha was £3.95 not bad for this area. If popping through, definitely worth a visit!
Great ales
Lovely ales, nice staff and cozy atmosphere plus cracking pickled eggs.
A good pint (in a handle if you so wish). Great snack option. Good bar sandwiches. Staff of friendly enough. Good crowd. Local pub.
Lovely and cozy ambience, friendly staff and locals. Great ales and beers.
First time in. Land lady good. Liked it will go back. Good ambience

Lovely boozer, friendly staff, first class Wye Valley brewery ales.
Brilliant atmosphere
Good beer at a very good price and talented youngster playing the piano!
Lovely friendly pub, staff very helpful, good quality drinks, really nice atmosphere Highly recommended Service
Super hosts and staff. Very friendly, a great local with an excellent choice of beers
My wife and I have often visited this lovely pub since we moved to the area over 2 years ago. The welcome, service, atmosphere and value are exceptional. It has a real sense of community that helps us to relax in a comfortable environment. This includes a cosy garden where we spend many summer afternoons. Thanks to the whole team. As senior citizens we have appreciated their kindness and courtesy and being made to feel valued guests.

A beautiful real old English pub with everything that goes with it. I recommend the HPA and the Butty Bach. Really tasty ales.
Good
Nice pint. Barman was a bit glum! Im sure is wasnt me.
The place is one of the best local pubs. The vibe is great. They usually have live music which elevates the experience. Their in-house brews are pretty good as well
Sandwich was lovely, enjoyed the atmosphere and the outside area is very nice Great local pub!
A fantastic local pub , well worth a visit ! Great prices on both local beer and fresh home prepared food , definitely recommend !
Good atmosphere and a good selection of different drinks to suite everyone. Is a popular local spot. Can sometimes be a little cramped around the bar when busy
Great little pub. Busy on Friday evenings, a little quieter on Saturdays. No evening food, which is great. Selected lunchtime menu, all good. There are very nice ham or cheese subs available all day.
Lovely pub with great beer and a nice outdoor area
Great pub, staff and beer always first class. Good venue for a wealth of brilliant local musicians. What else could you ask for?

Fantastic little pub. Love to bring my family when they re visiting.
Came across The Morgan when staying in the area for a long weekend. Really nice well kept beers and great service, locals friendly too. Can especially recommend the Nightjar British Stout - lovely!
Nice selection of real ales including an excellent local stout. I was made very welcome by both the staff & clientele. Great outdoor seating & wheelchair friendly too.
Friendly staff shame they dont serve food in the day time. Overall good though.
Good pud. Good ale.
Didnt have a meal, enjoyed the visit
Planned visit after walking Worcestershire Beacon. Lovely pub as per numerous reviews, Cornish pasties were great and the real ale was excellent. Despite obviously being a really popular and busy pub, we managed to get a nice seat indoors. Outside beer garden looked lovely too.
Love this pub! Great selection of beer.
Met with friends for a drink. Pub very dog friendly. Lovely Wye valley brewery beer. Great pub.
Great little pub in barnards Green, inside and outside heating, great vibe, and not too far to stumble home
Beautiful old pub with plenty of parking space outside and a lovely relaxing beer garden Bar staff extremely friendly and welcoming

Very good beer! Probably the best pint for 100 miles
Butty Bach beer and good food served here
Proper pub , bar lady was very friendly made us feel welcomed with our dog, lovely bowl of cheesy chips. We will be back
Brilliant little local pub. The food is excellent, especially the home made sausage roll!!. Just dont order chips as the portion size is huge
Wye Valley pub, serving 4 ales from the brewery. Had Butty Bach, well kept and reasonably priced. Good Sat pm atmosphere, had rugby on and plenty of staff to keep the bar well served. Friendly welcome, lots of locals, dogs and range of ages. Good outside space too. Pub grub menu too, no frills , home cooked food w. a Veg/vegan option.
Love it. Friendly & welcoming.
I have spent many a hour in the Morgan, I have to say its one favourite in Malvern. It has a local homely atmosphere, where you will always be welcomed, the alcohol on tap is not what you would normally find (which I like) If youre in Malvern please visit here, even if it is just for 1 drink.
Good beer and a friendly welcome
Always like coming here excellent pub food and friendly staff
Great little pub just a stones throw from Great Malvern train station with good selection on Wye Valley Ales. Outside seating area and lots of Morgan memorabilia dotted around.
Good choice of Beers, friendly staff and an unexpected meet up with someone I would only expect to see abroad.
Lovely garden and friendly atmosphere. Great cider and crisps! Live music on Sunday afternoons
Great beers, lovely atmosphere - a proper good pub!
Lovely pub near the station. Definitely recommend popping in before the train home
Good beer and food. The steak and kidney pie was very filling, £11 including a beer is decent value.
Fantastic pub. Very comfortable, very friendly and excellent beer and a damn fine pork roll with stuffing, apple sause and gravy.
Lovely friendly pub nice place for a relaxing drink or two
Good local pub, nice courtyard garden
Lovely pub for meeting friends - they also have an extensive outdoor area which is great on a summer day. Great food too - good quality, generous portions and reasonably priced. Also a great selection of drinks.

Lovely food, drink outside in the lovely sun terrace.
Sunday Afternoons with music are the best ..watched The Raintrees - Zoe and Andy were great - missed The Kitchen Island Band so wishing them a speedy recovery. Beer is great too. Great atmosphere, staff are friendly and always with a smile.

Great local ales. A very welcoming pub
Great outside eating area
Lovely pub run properly as it cares about the beer and dinner time food.
A large, old style boozer with real ale and lots of seating outside.
First time at this pub Great atmosphere and even better beer Bar staff were brilliant, Trudi knew her stuff about the beverages on sale. Will definitely return when in the area next
Just popped in for a drink. A warm welcome as always. Staff excellent and a nice atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
Nice pub and good beers however afternoon was spoilt by extremely standoffish and rude waitresses.
Popped in for lunch and a beer, excellent all around. Nice food, and good pint of HPA Will be back and would recommend.
Very welcoming place with good barmaid.
Nice friendly pub!
Great public house, good atmosphere
Had to grab a quick bite to eat as we were attending a school play. The pub only had rolls on offer at that time ham or cheese and onion with help yourself salad bowl. They were ok fresh but a little too much bread. Nice crowd and drinks all ok. Toilets clean and ok for a quick drink
Always amazing service and professional
Fabulous!
Very hospitable and welcoming. Great beers too
Only been a few times when in the Malvern area, but it has always been good. As a stout drinker, you normally get the usual Guinness, which is OK at best but the Morgan offers a range of Wye Valley Ales, including a Stout, which is superb. At the time of my last visit, it was outdoor service only, and by appointment, due to Covis. Really well organised, staff were very pleasant and service was excellent. Not eaten here so cant comment on food.
Friendly, great food & Wye Valley HPA (nectar !).
Lovely to be in such cosy surroundings again.
Salads were beautiful, service was excellent
1st time meeting my brother since lockdown really well organized and good service.
Great pint and fab service in a beautiful beer garden!
Good beer. Nice garden and very nice staff and service. Especially from Jess
Really? No food on a Friday night?
Great pub with decent ales and friendly and efficient staff
Lush beer
Exelent staff, brilliant place
Drove half an hour last night to have a craft beer and stout after reading the reviews and arrived at 9.30pm only to find the gates shut and a board saying closed despite the website saying open. If you are planning to go - phone first !!!
Great little local with good beer and garden
Brilliant pub good beer and friendly people.
Good place
Awful. The ladies at the entrance were not welcoming, I ordered a table for dinner and was given a seat with no table instead despite being lots of tables around. No explanation was given. We left and decided to go somewhere else.
A proper pub!
Great but expensive
Just a quick beer in the lovely garden, very ace
A great little place. I loved visiting - friendly environment and lovely bar tender. Cosy furniture indoors, even sofas. It also has an awesome outdoor garden, complete with koi pond - perfect for a pint in the sun. For the ladies: these bathrooms are clean, gorgeous, and have free sanitary/feminine hygiene products available, so if youre ever in a pinch, pop in!
Was very impressed and great choice of drinks
First visit and was impressed. Nice feel, nice customers, will be back.
Really friendly staff
Brilliant alehouse, superb beer, very friendly staff. If you are in Malvern go and visit.
Lovely Wye Valley ales and a great selection of food. Very accommodating to our walking group having our food ready for when we arrived back from our amble.
Excellent food, beer and service. 5*
Every time I visit this pub I can see the improvement. The owners are working hard to create a welcoming community pub. The beer was excellent. Wye Valley beers, well maintained here.
Great pub with a great atmosphere, the draft drinks are a great range
Lovely beer. Great family service. Very clean and well-managed. Sorry didnt get chance to sample food
Good prices!
Immensely rude staff, what sort of pub stops selling food at 3pm? Cider was alright.
Warm and welcoming. The Classic Malvern experience.
Great location, really friendly atmosphere and great range of drinks. Looking forward to many more visits
