The Wellington Inn, Malvern WR13 6HW, United Kingdom
I recently visited The Wellington Inn, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and friendly atmosphere was evident. They are wonderfully welcoming of dogs, which was such a bonus for me as a dog owner. They even went the extra mile by offering my dog a treat—such a thoughtful touch! The beer selection was fantastic, and every sip was a testament to their commitment to quality. But what truly stood out was the incredible hospitality. The owners and staff were so kind, attentive, and genuinely made me feel like part of the family. I can’t recommend this pub enough—it’s a perfect spot for a cozy, enjoyable outing. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Visited on a Saturday lunchtime & was greeted to a warm & Friendly inn . We'd booked for a meal & wasnt disappointed the food is certainly the higher end of pub food without a high end price. This seafood platter starter was 1st class some of the best whiebait ive had. And for dessert bread pudding just go & try it for Yourselves All in all i will highly recommend this pub it was great.
Friendly service, top quality beers, and an interesting menu of very well cooked food.
Excellent dishes with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection in a traditional pub setting tucked away on the slopes of the Malvern Hills! Friendly and efficient service makes you feel welcome! Overall a very good and unpretentious dining experience!
We had lunch here after climbing British Camp. The landlord welcomed us to the restaurant side and took our orders. We had venison pie with roasted Mediterranean vegetables and chunky skin on chips as well as Bouillabaisse with garlic bread which is a bit surprising in this part of the world. Portion sizes were very good and the food was excellent. Outside the elevated location affords beautiful views over the surrounding countryside from the large car park. This place is certainly not a secret as evidenced by all the regulars who were having their lunch here on a Wednesday. It is fairly close to British Camp Car Park and would make an ideal pit stop after all the exertion. Wholeheartedly recommended.
We stopped off at The Wellington Inn, following a family walk on a warm sunny day. We were 3 adults and 1 dog and we found a fabulous parasoled table in the garden - which has lovely views. We were greeted and welcomed by very friendly staff and the service throughout was excellent. Our food was a real surprise in its quality, portions and value for money - obviously home cooked and very tasty for our 3 different meals. I had the Bouillabaisse and this was excellent and a surprise to see on a menu in this area. We especially liked to see ‘smaller portions’ available on the roast dinners - my daughter really enjoyed this and it was ample for her in her chicken choice. We will certainly make return visits soon as we live locally in Malvern.
What a great pub. Perfect cosy atmosphere- a pub how pubs should be. Brilliant beer and 1st class food - pub classics as well as some more imaginative food - all well prepared. Wood fire was lovely and dogs made to feel welcome. Extra marks for the ladies’ loo being warm (they often aren’t!) Highly recommended.
Lovely pub with great service. A lot of dogs, nice clientele and lots of friendly staff. Food was great and original which made for a nice pub menu.
My first visit- will definitely be revisiting as its a lovely country pub. The food and service were really good.
Nice little pub, almost a gastro with some old school feel to it. Food was good and service great. Just missing a changing area for babies Plenty of parking spaces. Kid-friendliness: Fine but a bit tight for a pram in the downstairs room. Spacious upstairs but I m not sure that I saw a ramp or another entrance. Wheelchair accessibility: Couldnt see any
Good food ,wide range of beers and sprites, pleasent friendly staff.
Fantastic pub with a nice selection of ales on tap and the food was fantastic! We had the trout and the beef and ale pie, both of which were delicious.
Fantastic food in a lovely pub. Service is excellent and very dog friendly. A definite place to go lunchtime or evening! Parking: The pub is situated a couple of miles west of British Camp. This makes it ideal to use if walking the Malvern hills with a fantastic view to the West.
Very clever and imaginative chef producing excellent dishes. Generous portions and landlord knowledgeable about his wines. Lovely atmosphere and dogs welcome.
Very friendly welcome on arrival. Food and ale was top notch. Would recommend to all and I will return for sure.

Lovley pub with great views from the beer garden. The food was excellent, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our anniversary meal and will definitely re visit with friends.
A superb culinary experience! Gastronomy at its finest in the most unexpected place. An absolute must for locals and visitors.
Being a cosmopolitan afficionado of good food, I highly recommend Wellington inn. The ambience, the variety of dishes and artistic combination of ingredients by the Chef make It the perfect choice for any time of day and occasion.
6 of us went for lunch in August 2024 - everything was wonderful. We all agreed the food was gorgeous (including not just one vegan main course option but two - so rare for us vegans to get a choice!), lovely location and super friendly, helpful staff. Definitely will go back! Vegetarian options: 2 vegan options were both gorgeous! Parking: Easy to park.
Great views and well cared for garden. Friendly staff, didn t get to eat as the kitchen closed but others food looked great and reasonably priced.
What a great find. Really warm welcoming pub with a lovely atmosphere. We called in on the off chance after a 5 hour drive, we were greeted with a smile and a good pint of beer, it was just what the doctor ordered. The staff were lovely and nothing was any trouble. The food was excellent, really enjoyed it and very reasonably priced. We will be back. Thank you all 10/10!!
Absolutely fantastic, the food is to die for !, friendly staff and bar !, definitely worth a visit !.
Excellent food, good atmosphere and sensibly priced
Very well priced
Sunday lunch. Was really busy when we arrived. Glad we booked. However the staff coped really well. Food was excellent, wine lovely. Best experience in ages.
First time visit on a Wednesday lunchtime. Very friendly welcome. Several dogs and their owners looking very relaxed. This is a free house without the usual local Ledbury and Wye Valley brewery beer found everywhere else. Delighted to find an alcohol free IPA as it was my turn to drive. Food was surprisingly good. Shared a delicious pork hoisin starter and two fab mains - a twist on Max n Cheese, and a super tasty Steak & Ale pies. Some great veggies and vegan options. Recommended
Very tasty meal in a beautiful old Inn with so much character.
My husband and I had a delicious lunch at the Wellington Inn today, chalk stream trout and pie of the day, sticky toffee pudding and coffee panacotta. Lovely welcome and strangers chatted to us!
Wow
I wanted to love this place, but the owners manner was strange throughout, the vibes were off, and the veggie roast was not good. Positives first: its in a beautiful spot, a historic pub right next to the most stunning walks along the Malvern Hills, lovely views, small beer garden facing south for the summer, roaring log fires for winter and a cosy, rustic interior with board games in the bar. However, the trouble started when we walked into the bar and said wed made a reservation for two (with all the reviews glowing about dog-friendliness). Bear in mind our single dog is tiny, very used to busy restaurants, and never allowed to cause trouble. The landlord was NOT pleased to see him and declared half the pub was out of bounds to us. oh, I should have mentioned having a dog on the phone, I will next time I smiled, hoping to defuse the situation. YES YOU SHOULD HAVE, came the glowering response; a strange way to treat a brand new customer. No matter - he found us a table in the smaller, dog-friendly bar area. Not that wed know, as we were told to sit down first at a truly tiny bar table, around mid-calf height. He then dropped off some menus and disappeared without a word, leading the landlady to ask from over the bar: Are you fussy drinkers or do you know what you want? We need to know before 2:30. It wasnt clear if theyd stop serving food, alcohol, or what within the remaining 10 minutes. I enquired as to the ciders. Stowford or nothing. A shame for an area with so many good ciders, but no matter, two of those please. She overheard us saying well the reviews did say very dog friendly and replied We are but you have to go in the bottom section. As if to prove it, she brought some treats over for our dog, and then the landlord came back. Shes let that fire die down, he declared, putting a single cold log onto an unlit hearth without a hint of embers or having been used recently. Unsurprisingly, it stayed unlit. He disappeared again to fiddle with the wood stove in the next room, moving some other guests on a bench around to get some wood. We wondered if wed be able to have the empty table for two next to the stove. No, your tables the other side of that room, he declared. Is it ready for us to move to?... we wondered aloud, before he replied YES as if we were thick. Finally seated, the food came quickly and I had high hopes, with clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options throughout. It was a stuffed butternut squash roast which sounded delicious. Unfortunately the execution was... not good. The butternut had been simply cut in half, without any of the pulp or seeds scraped out like you normally would, and the stuffing turned out to be a very thin garnish. It was also under-roasted to the point of being quite chewy. At this point the landlord comes to ask if everything is okay, and we said it was fine. He then starts talking to the (until now quiet!) dog in a funny voice and staring him down, which really scares him. Not taking upset barking at a stranger for a no, he continues with this a lot longer than I would have. I paid, left a decent tip for the younger staff who were all lovely, and left, unlikely to return. Vegetarian options: Subpar. One or two bits, but dont expect anything special. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible
Amazingly good food, in a wonderful old pub full of character
Beautiful cosy comfortable country pub with lovely staff and great food. Log burner and areal fire in the bar area where dogs are also allowed. Obviously the restaurant area does not allow dogs in there but you can eat in the bar area. Spent a relaxing evening there with a friend after eating. The locals that we met were equally as friendly as their dogs and hosts.
Always a favourite place to eat and drink after a hike on the Malvern Hills
A lovely place for a family meal. Great food, good prices, and excellent service Dietary restrictions: Great for celiacs
Really good food, friendly staff and characterful pub!
Everything you need in a good pub is here. Landlord Giles is a fantastic host with great staff. Food, beer, ciders, ambience, car parking all top notch.
We had a great experience, the service was excellent and so was the food. they even offered to prepare special out of menu plates to accommodate our kids,.
Amazing food and excellent service!
Good pub, good food and super friendly team working in the bar and restaurant - it certainly worth stopping off.
We had a lovely lunch. Really nice menu with lots of choices. Dog friendly place. Handmade owner and friendly staff. We came all the way from Gloucester.
Very real and authentic British pub, high quality food and tasty ales, decent car park, very friendly and engaging staff, great pie!
Great food and jovial host.
Really nice pub. We only stopped for a drink after a walk and before we went to the hotel but its a lovely place. Nice outfit area, friendly staff and good selection of drinks. People were eating there as well and the food I saw being taken out looked really good. Worth a visit for sure.
We came across this pub when passing through and it was a fantastic find! The pub is lovely in a superb location, we had lovely food and the staff were super friendly and helpful!
I had the misfortune of breaking down directly outside the pub. Which as it turned out to be blessing, as it took the AA 5 hours to recover me, during which time I was able to have a meal and refreshments, I can highly recommend the food and the service, I must try if youre passing.
The choice offered on this menu was excellent. The food was presented very well and tasted just as good. We will return here.
A little gem on the outskirt off Malvern.
Even with a steak knife still couldnt cut through roast beef. One small dish of veg for nine people, even cut one floret of cauliflower in half so everyone could have some.
Whilst on holiday in the Malvern, my daughter discovered The Wellington Inn on Google and we decided to give it a visit. I have to say that we were very pleasantly surprised with the choice and quality of the food, especially as the pub is in a rural location. Congratulations to the publican, chef and staff for making our visit so enjoyable.
After too many years of passing this pub, likely thousands of times, l finally visited this public house with my wife. Friendly reception, absolutely brilliant food, steak gorgeous and great beer. All for a great price. We shall definitely return.
Delicious food, great customer service. Outside could do with a tidy up. Since I last posted, the outside has had a major tidy up! Looks warm and inviting from the outside. Was rather put off being asked for a tip when we spent over £70. Food
Terrific Pub, always a warm and friendly welcome. Great food, great beer and great views. Absolutely recommend stopping by if youre passing.
Quiet on the night but main course very good. Desserts rather expensive and didnt bother.
Lovely relaxed pub with glorious views. Dog friendly. Great staff. Exceptional food, we had a three course Sunday lunch and everything was perfect.
It s a little way out of Malvern (12 mins in car), but really worth making the time to get there. Brilliant food (we had the cassoulet), great service, and reasonable prices. Sticky toffee pudding for pudding was memorable. Make sure you have time set aside to savour the food. Our hotel recommended the Wellington as a special place - which it is!
Excellent.Delicious food,warm welcome,superb atmosphere.
Amazing country pub, with good ales, a proper pub environment, and restaurant quality food.
We had lunch here on Saturday, halfway through a walk with the two dogs. We had the warmest welcome, biscuits for the dogs & water, followed by the best pie that Ive had in many a long year (Wild Boar & Venison). Lots of other great choice on the menu plus an interesting fact to take away - who knew that carrots didnt use to be orange!! Excellent pub, run by lovely people - it is slightly out of the way but treat yourselves and make the effort, you wont regret it.
Tried this pub for the first time , Had a first class lunch, beautiful ly cooked, met the very nice owner . Will definitely been going back , thoroughly recommend
Great food and lovely pub atmosphere, lovely fires going to keep you warm. Staff very lovely.
Here now, Sunday 6th Feb, wonderful lunch as always , roast pork for my wife and the veggie option for me!! Can t fault the quality or the service, Giles and his team try harder than anywhere else! Recommended above all others for the welcoming pub atmosphere!!!
Met a few friends lunch time to celebrate good friends 80th birthday . Great food and service. Totally reccomend .
Great ale, great food!
Lovely food and drink served here, a plentiful ploughmans, very much enjoyed and good beer, lovely views too from this pub
Excellent. No negatives at all.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good menu and specials that focuses on local produce cooked well with some surprising additions. Good choice of beer and wines, including a very drinkable low alcohol IPA on tap for those who need to drive.
Fab delicious food, quaint quirky surroundings
Stopped for a quick beer after cricket nets and had to have a few as we all enjoyed the ale. We deserved it. An area for drinkers, fires etc and restaurant at the back. Worth a look.
Excellent experience relaxed atmosphere very busy sat afternoon in restaurant top food too staff looked after us very well.go again
We came with 3 dogs. We had a nice area to sit in. The food & staff were very good, so was the beer. Nice pub.
Great father daughter lunch after visiting the Morgan Factory. Excellent friendly welcome and service and great rump steak.
Ate in last night was 17 of us. Very attentive, good quality food & polite staff
Visited on the spur of the moment on Friday afternoon. The welcome was warm and the food fantastic. Will definitely be returning when Im back in Malvern.
I wouldnt bring your 10-15 year old here. The food was very good but the choices are limited for these ages. If your teenager has a very varied palette, go for it, but the food is very classical. It also took quite long to arrive and was a 3 star at best.
Really delicious lunch.
Good selection of beers and menu looked good, will return for lunch.
Only called in for a beer. Nice clean pub, interesting menu. Friendly staff. Had Sunday lunch there last week. The food was brilliant the staff were attentive and very professional. Well worth the journey
Good service. Excellent food. Fantastic specials.
Always great food, good service and interesting ales. Hosted with natural class from Giles.
Smashing place so much better on the inside than outside. Great food and very friendly staff... Would recommend. Sunday roast first class. Keep an eye on the kitchen open times.
Lovely Sunday lunch in a great atmosphere. Thanks to the staff.
Lovley and friendly. Will be coming back for food soon. Great location & scenery.
Beautifully presented food, tasty and just very very good.
Intriguing history, excellent ales and perfect pies, what more could make a not to miss pub!
Lovely food with plenty of choice and friendly service in a nice pub. A great choice for my Dads 80th birthday lunch.
Absolutely fantastic food, great unhurried service..great birthday lunch with amazing specials
Staff are amazing here so friendly, its a breathe of fresh air to have people like this. Food beautiful too, my son was obsessed with the sticky toffee pudding. Bonus that our dog could go too

Absolutely 10/10, exceptional food and interesting menu, nice selection of beers on tap, really friendly staff and lovely view from the garden.
The best steak Ive enjoyed, 3 times Friendly & great service Not open all day, every day Slow moving drafted beer may not be best
Lovely classic pub atmosphere
The food is outstanding, so well presented and absolutely delicious. There is so much thought that goes into preparing the menu . On top of that the pub is full of character. The landlord ,chef and staff are a great team . If you havent been, I sincerely recommend a visit, you wont be disappointed
Fish finger sandwich was amazing, great hosts will come back
Busy lunchtime at the pub, only had sandwiches but they were fine
Best pub and pub food I have ever had. Nice friendly mime host. Highly recommended
We dropped in at the Wellington at a mid week lunchtime when Herefordshire was still in Tier 1. It was a truly awful day weather wise, we were fed up and decided to visit the Wellington partly as a trip diwn memory lane having visited there many years ago. We werent disappointed. Firstly the whole place is warm and welcoming by both the landlord and also the decor and ambience. A nice open fire and lots of different sitting spaces including a very nice dining area. We had intended to have a sandwich but in the end we were tempted by the full menu and had the most delicious sit down meal with great service, great real ale. My partner is a beer connoisseur and the beer here was given top marks. I recommend the lamb and home made pheasant pie but I was also tempted by the vegetarian option. The vegetables served with our meal cooked to pefection. My dessert was heavenly. The whole place is Covid compliant, very clean and in our very limited world at the moment our lunch at the Wellington will be in our memory for a long time. On the practical side plenty of parking, and we also bought some eggs which were being sold there. The pub is set back off the road on an incline and so people with mobility issues would need to take extra care. I highly recommend. Im sure you wont be disappointed.
Some of the most delicious food in the county. Lovely, relaxed dining atmosphere and very friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Fab!
Very pleasant little drink today easy to order snacks and drinks via a simple to text to the bar something other pubs could learn from instead of complicated apps. Have always liked the Wellington just wish I could spend more time there.
Popped in for a Sunday afternoon drink. Great service from the team there. Its a texting service and you choose from the menu and they bring your order out. Much easier to use than some of the apps out there. Plus the dog got a few treats for being her well behaved self as usual .
Through lockdown have been using the Wellington for takeaways.Always good, always friendly.Look forward to starting date nights with my wife when we can go inside.Well worth supporting.
Had a lovely meal this evening, Beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and accommodating, will be booking back in a few weeks. Highly recommend.
Had a fantastic meal. Landlord and staff, couldnt do enough for us. Sat outside and took in the great views.
Great food, great beer and friendliest landlord. And always has been.
Its OK. Nothing special on the menu as zoom reveiws said. Coffee was very poor, tasteless and weak.
Great place. Great atmosphere! couldnt fault the food or service!
A great meal and in a lovely setting with amazing service. The food was very good .
Great food great place !
A lovely lunch, with very friendly staff. Dog friendly, plenty of outdoor seating .
Fab food and great service
Booked at late notice. Excellent food, nicely prepared & lots of fresh veg cooked well. Five of us had the beef roast & one had the vegetarian dish which was a celariac rissole type thing. The food looked & tasted great. Puddings, although a tad expensive, were very unique & again tasted good. Three had treacle sponge & the others had a lovely summer pudding with raspberries, strawberries & bleach currants. The staff & landlord were all very friendly & worked well as a team. Never been in there before but would have no hesitation going again if I am in the area.
The starters we had were delicious. For my main course I had the steak and it was honestly the best steak I have tasted. Perfectly cooked. Good UK Craft lagers and Guest ales. The staff are very polite and friendly.Service is personal and interactive. A fantastic place to visit
Well worth a visit. The food is heavenly, and the welcome friendly.
Friendly landlord and very good food excellent service and staff will go again highly recommend this Inn
Amazing food and hospitality.
Very nice food but the chunkey chips are a bit to chunky
Stopped in for a pint. The barmaid went above and beyond. Set in a lovely location too. Would recommend a visit thoroughly. Thanks all!
Great food and staff very accommodating
It could do with being more pub like, but I enjoyed the food and the service was very good...
We have had two lunches at the Wellington Inn and they were both delicious and the service top notch! Ask for the chef specials
Nice fresh food, good beer definitely go back
The food was delicious and the service outstanding. We have eaten here twice on our week away, and have really enjoyed both meals. Thankyou to the staff at the Wellington.
Friendly service, great light bite lunch.
The prefect example of a cosy English pub, with knowledgeable staff, a wide selection of drinks and local ales, and an excellent food menu. I would highly recommend this establishment if your visiting the area
Lovely food, very friendly landlord

Great food and really helpful staff. Good spot to go after some hill walking!
A fabulous place to relax after a days walking. Great ales and the food is wonderful. What really makes this place stand out is its atmosphere. Brilliant team that run the place.
Lovely pub, very friendly staff and excellent food. Cod and chips was good, crispy beef starter was amazing. Also dog friendly
A lovely evening of mellow Jazz, at The Wellington Inn for Dianes Birthday, and great to meet the so talented Trevor Emney, 20years on. So many memories of Sunday afternoons when we had the Bell Inn, Shurdington.
We visited the Wellington Inn after trekking Malvern Hills and had a wonderful Saturday lunch! The foods were super delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Also the staff there are amazing. They are helpful, kind and responsible :) Thank you again Giles and Frankia to help me out getting my hood back(I booked a pickup service). I will definitely come back to dine there! I visited and trekked in the Malvern Hills. All the food is delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very warm and nice. Above all, thanks to the friendly staff, I was able to enjoy my meal and return the hat I had forgotten to leave behind. I will definitely come back and eat there again.
Fantastic food and good real ale. Staff and landlord very friendly.
Great lunch and pleasing atmosphere cannot wait to go back.
Great experience. Really nice food. We had the pumpkin seed scones and Sunday roast. They were great with my allergies (dairy, egg and fish) and new exactly what I could and couldnt have. Great atmosphere for a small country pub. Be warned the chicken Sunday roast is half a chicken. We thought that was great but may be to much for some.
We stopped by for a sunday lunch and were not disappointed. I had pork and my husband has beef, and they were delicious. Lovely friendly service too. Thank you.
Fabulous food and best service we have had for ages especially as we had a large group. Pub area is also cosy and welcoming with great real ales and wide selection of wines. Well worth a visit.
Good food freshly cooked.
Great food
Great land lord, lovely service ,lovely food couldnt reccomend more :). 11/10 a hidden diamond. A niche dish I would reccomend would be the chips or fries, very well done.
A friendly traditional pub with good beer and an excellent restaurant serving a good range of food to suit most tastes. Id definitely return!
In these trying times - now offering a take out menu - had their Fish & Chips last night - great food - lovely fish with crispy batter - fab triple fried (I think) chips at a great price - highly recommend this!
High class cuisine take-away which travels well. You will not be disappointed. Its now a regular treat for us.
We didnt go in because of Covid 19, but the gentleman let us have a rest on the outside tables with no one else around, a very kind, polite person. Thank you.
Very friendly staff, welcoming to dogs. Service was speedy and done in a very covid-safe manner. Food was top notch, tasty and well presented. A great range of drinks on the bar too. Will come back again in future!
Amazing venue, even better food and even better hosts! 100% must visit!
Great food, good prices, friendly landlord and staff
Not been here for a few years, but the welcome, food and service is still as excellent as I remember. A gem of a pub serving local ales and amazing fresh food. Thanks Mr Goodhew and team!
Fantastic food and lovely staff
Great food and great service too...
Poor vegetarian options, otherwise good
Super friendly service. More than happy to prepare a great vegan roast when asked.
Had a delicious socially acceptable lunch here today. First time out for me since March. Giles and Zena made us most welcome. Food was yummy.
Lovely staff, good food. Decor could be improved
Outstanding food, great staff and brilliantly kept beers
Wonderful country pub with great beer and excellent food. Amazing friendly owners and staff, we had a great laugh with them. Excellent hygiene control, lots of space, warm fireplace, and great olde world style. This pub is a must visit for a great pint and a wonderful tasty meal. Can t wait to go back.
Lovley old pub in stunning setting. Great outside to enjoy some pints and the view, great food and very welcoming staff made it a stand out. 100% reccomend
We had an absolutely wonderful lunch at the Wellington Inn for our group of 6! Delicious, hearty food which was great value and served very promptly. Lovely beer garden as well. The biggest winner was the great service and banter from the managers/owners who were both fantastic. Will definitely stop by if ever in the area again. Please visit this lovely spot!
Very good food and friendly service
Fabulous Meal Again! Love this place, always excellent service. Can t wait to have a takeaway during lockdown.
Lovely food. Sampled the vegetarian Festive Menu (take away) last night. Parsnip crumble with cranberry and orange sauce, with seasonal veg - really delicious and just the right portion size. Partner had the fish and chips. Again excellent. Good portion, large chunky chips and tartare sauce. He really enjoyed it. Also, and most importantly, there are excellent hygiene measures in place for both takeaway and dine in options. 10/10 for us.
Had a great dinner at the Wellington, we had the pie of the day (Wild Boar) and roast Partridge for mains which were both delicious and a gin and lime cured salmon as a starter which was great too! Good selection of beers and wines with a good real ale too. Will definitely be back next time were out this way!
Excellent food that was very well presented, very warm reception and welcoming to dogs. Love this pub and plan to bring my family here when they come to visit.
Gorgeous pub. Very very good food. Taking covid rules and regs very seriously
Family birthdays celebrated here in July, all the family thought the food was excellent, staff very attentive, and the wine list full and well priced. Lovely time
Celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary yesterday, the food was excellent, and staff friendly, an absolute gem of a real pub.
Excellent food ,Excellent service
Really great sunday lunch. Would definitely recommend!
Came across The Wellington Inn on a trip back from Malvern and we werent disappointed. Greeted by the owner who made us feel very welcome. Set up a bar tab and ordered lunch. The men had toast beef sandwich, mum and I had bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich and 2 bowls of chips. Not the cheapest but it was well worth the money. Chips were excellent, sandwiches were very good, nice fresh bread, real bread not plastic supermarket bread. Nice atmosphere, very friendly young lady bought our food. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definatly return.
Stopped here for Sunday lunch. The menu was very varied. We all had the roast beef which came with lovely crunchy roast potatoes and a fairly big Yorkshire pudding. The seasonal veggies were really fresh and cooked just right. The staff were excellent and put a ramp outside so my husband could enter the pub on his scooter. Over all spent a lovely relaxed couple of hours.
Country pub like to see a limited menu means its cooked fresh and not microwaved The picture is not just the specials , that is it very refreshing to see. Friendly and attentive
Bit limited menu. Quite pricy
Best Sunday lunch in the area ,and weve done them all ,excellent quality food ,great service always come back to the best ..
A proper country pub, open fires, great food and fantastic atmosphere.
Was good
Staff were lovely and Giles in particular was incredibly helpful. Good food and good drink, reasonably priced. Great atmosphere too.
Staff pleasant especially the young girl. Nice atmospheric pub. Food on this occasion a bit below par but will visit again.
Lovely food and friendly staff
Excellent food, cosy coal fires and great beer.
A very friendly welcoming pub with a wonderful atmosphere Excellent service and delicious food A nice relaxing evening that we really enjoyed !!
