Great place to enjoy a tea, even the food is absolutely good and tasty! ❤️ Nice view also
My Wife & I went for an afternoon anniversary lunch. Excellent waitress service. Polite, friendly and knowledgable of both menu and wine selection. Easy, relaxed atmosphere with scenic views of the Worcestershire countryside. Good selection of starters, variety of mains and good selection of puddings. The Beef was outstanding. Really. Melt in the mouth. WOW factor ! Pudding was a Berry Crumble with custard. Again, 10/10. What a hidden gem this place is ! This is a Retirement Complex with a Restaurant open to the public. Would I visit again ? 100% yes. Price of two mains, two puddings, two large wines, plus a full bottle of wine, including a 10% non-obligatoey tip, circa £95.00. Well worth the visit. Excellent facilities, clean, tidy, spacious between tables and absolutely wonderful food. We will return & soon. Once people get to know what this place offers in Restaurant (food) terms, service & the quality of service and food presentation, it will take off to the moon........Beautiful place !
We enjoyed a dinner here last weekend but what we hadn't realised is that this is an in house restaurant for a retirement home! The staff were very welcoming, the furnishings and settings very stylish and we enjoyed our meal. We were just conscious of being non-resident, especially as the neighbouring conversations seemed to be about medical ailments and powers of attorney, that's why the atmosphere wasn't what we hoped. I'd still recommend coming here for a nice meal, but just be mindful of this.
Food was excellent and very well presented. Service great and always with a smile. Go check this place out - don’t be put off by the location..
Wonderful afternoon tea here. Very inventive savoury and sweet options. Great service from Lizzie and colleague. Beautiful setting.
Our first time here, lovely decor and views! Food was fabulous! We had Sunday lunch. 2 of us had the turkey, which was lovely and moist, 1 had the vegetarian quiche, which was delicious, and 1 had the salmon - cooked beautifully! 2 lovely, polite, friendly waitresses who were running back n forth serving everyone and doing a brilliant job! Will definitely go back again!
Best cooked breakfast in Malvern! Butchers sausages and bacon. Friendly staff, proper pot of tea and linen napkins. We finished off with a swim and sauna at the Audley club downstairs. Brunch served 10-12 Mon-Sat - highly recommended.
Lovely place for a relaxed treat. Great food and friendly service. The afternoon tea was brilliant.
Nice fish, reasonable carvery roast
Friendly staff, good food and not too expensive. Would definitely come again. Worth booking though so youre guaranteed a table.
Brought my mum for lunch before a matinee at the festival theatre and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious, generous portions, beautifully presented and very tasty. The service was excellent too. Would definitely return if in the locality.
Food was stunning here and the service was amazing. We will definitely be back
The food at Aldwyns is fantastic. Everything is great quality, tasty and exceptional value for what it is. We like Aldwyns so much that we held our wedding breakfast meal here! And we werent disappointed - they did a tremendous job, could not ask for a better day. The food was incredible, all guests thought so too, and they catered exactly to our requests. The menu the chef created was creative, delicious and beautiful. The staff were absolutely amazing. Very caring, thoughtful, nice and always go above and beyond to please everyone. The restaurant is located within a retirement village, hence why it doesnt get many visitors, but I would definitely recommend it. Walk-ins are welcome and there is visitor parking too. Can not thank Rebecca and her team enough for an incredible day. We cant wait to go back next time were in Malvern! Parking: Visitor parking available
Excellent and generous Afternoon Tea. Good selection of sandwiches, gammon slider and sweet items. Evening meals are also great, well prepared, tasty and well presented. Food
Belated Mothersday afternoon tea. Beautiful surroundings, once we found the car park! Food delicious, beautifully presented. Prosecco lovely. Service good. Price very reasonable.
Sunday lunch - booked 1.15, arrived slightly early, ordered wine, 1 soup , 2 main courses from set menu. Soup was slow to appear, but very tasty & hot. Long wait with no further attention, although very few customers( most having afternoon tea - at 1.30pm !? ). Main course finally arrived at 1.30 - dry turkey slices, not hot, roast potatoes which had been standing & gone soft. Overcooked, dry yorkshire pudding & oily roasted carrot & beetroot- all dunked in dark brown gravy of unknown origin. Only diabetic need to eat made us tackle it. Staff excuse was head chef off & very busy with cream teas ! Still very few customers to be seen. Needs serious attention. Advise avoid.
Very friendly service and delicious food although the wait for the main course was about 40 minutes we did very much enjoy our meal and would eat here again.
Had a lovely beef roast - perfectly cooked with excellent gravy. The vegetables were also quite delicious. The chocolate raspberry tart was delightful.
Fresh, well balanced dishes, subtle use of flavours. Wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. Staff, very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend if youre in the area.
Excellent service and food
Great ambience. Good food. Worth a visit.
Exquisite afternoon tea
We came here for an afternoon tea to celebrate an anniversary. Whilst the food was fantastic, the service was really poor. Outside of giving us the afternoon tea, nobody came to us for the 2 hour stay. Despite our attempts to get some attention this didnt happen, others around us got attention, just not us as we probably didnt fit the typical demographic. We had to go to the counter for more drinks and to pay our bill. Really disappointing as the food was fantastic and if the service was better we would definitely be coming back, but I couldnt recommend this place after our experience today.
What a lovely place. Fantastic food and great service. Highly recommended.
Beautiful food and ambience was delightful
We had delicious afternoon tea but did rather bring down the average age on the clientele! We werent sure what to expect and it appears to be part of a retirement village but the restaurant itself was very pleasant and comfortable. Sandwiches and cakes were plentiful, served in deco style, 3 tier tea displays, and tea was bottomless. The gluten free selection was really good too. Not sure whether the cakes were made in house or not but they were nice, and the sandwiches were fresh. The staff were friendly and efficient so all in all we had a lovely couple of hours catching up!
A nice restaurant open to the public.good food and service.
It was really nice
Lovely calm atmosphere with friendly staff and great facilities for membership
2 words, Very Posh
5 environment and the food price reflects that, it is however very good food. Great place for a special occasion, serving staff and chef were excellent a dealing with our parties differing dietary requirements
Absolutely delicious food superbly cooked and presented, magnificent views , worth every one of five stars.
Lovely afternoon tea. Very pleasant and relaxing.
Had a great afternoon tea with a tray of different kinds of food items - both savory and sweet. All of which were great, and for a very reasonable price for the quality what we received. Staff was professional and friendly, as well as the overall feel of the place is premium. Would recommend.
Beautifully decorated
