Dodd was delicious! Service is good. It takes time to get food at lunch time, but it was worth it.
Service was horrible couldn't eat with out the girl constantly trying to rush my dinner but had to chase her for my wine.Food was amazing
So been doing brunch here for years but the standards have dropped significantly and I can not officially say that better options that take pride in quality and presentation. I know I have a special order, but if your chef cant figure out to prepare thinner pancakes without failing to cook food to and edible temperature and not serving up an unhealthy mass of dough likely to make one sick then what are you doing and why bother being a restaurant. Generally some nice servers here but more broadly there has been a drop off and there are some poor attitudes. This is sad and this will be my last time here. Failed to meet expectations. Poor resolution of issues. Poor conflict management. In short, regarding hospitality, they failed hence the review. If the expectations are reasonable, any reasonable service operator will meet or exceed them. Not this place. The explanation I received from the restaurant manager was they did not have a recipe for the pancakes I wanted despite making them for me every time I go there. If the cook is not supervised by a chef, again, why bother operating as a restaurant. Chefs make recipes and would never have permitted under-cooked to be served. This place has gone SO downhill.
Really nice breakfast buffet with a good variety of fresh cooked foods including a carving station with the juiciest turkey I have had and a fresh omelette station with modest, but fresh options. I liked the fact they individually served some of the dishes to order to avoid unsafe room temperatures (smoked salmon and eggs Benedict). Great price and service was super.
Was here for a lovely event. The staff was super friendly. The place offered great spots to take pics. But the food was so fulfilling that everyone raved about it. I absolutely would come back here
Everything was very good, especially the seafood options from the new menu!
It’s okay, atmosphere was a bit much for me very busy lots of peeps but the food and service were okay. Don’t get me wrong it’s good food, we had the Sunday Buffett. But it is what it is -Buffett. Anything sitting out being picked over time and time again is mid grade to me. If I go next time I think I’d rather order from the menu and have my own meal prepared and then have a better quality experience. They do have things during the buffet that you can order. The salmon tasted fresh but it wasn’t what I was expecting. I think I need to go again and retry. Maybe it was my mood… it was Sunday morning. I’d rather breakfast in bed.
This rating is for their burger. Probably the BEST burger I've had in Malvern. White Cheddar burger - the burger was (medium) cooked perfectly. The meat was juicy with the white cheddar cheese was a great combination. The French fries were warm with good portion size. Quality and quantity was great. Would definitely get this dish again. Valrhona Dark Chocolate cream pie - tasted like chocolate pudding on a crust. Only negative....the Diet Coke was always flat
Great service, very nice outdoor space and a decent enough menu.
Brunch is a glorified continental breakfast. Service was good but food was bland and not very hot. Definitely not worth the price for brunch.
Had a wonderful Mothers Day brunch!

I always stay at the Desmond for Malvern trips. Im a huge fan of their breakfast service.
The Caesar salad was a little on the small side for 10 bucks, but otherwise this was a lovely lunch. Collin was attentive and unintrusive.
Brunch is dismal value. Food quality was identical to a complementary hotel breakfast. It seems they are riding on past goodwill when many more and higher quality items were served. Instead it s stripped down to basics and they still charge the same high price.
What happened to the brunch at The Desmond Hotel? Our family used to enjoy amazing brunches here complete with carving stations, omelettes to order, a chocolate fountain with many varieties of fresh fruit, cookies and marshmallows for dipping. A sea of fresh, high-quality baked goods and desserts stretched on many tables. There were platters of smoked fish and shrimp cocktail along with row after row of piping hot silver-domed containers filled with delicious and often unusual brunch options. Fast forward to today s Sunday brunch under a different chef and how things have changed. Gone are the platters of shrimp and seafood, ditto the carving stations and all the wonderful desserts. Instead there are a few tables of tired looking pastries and a few dried out, crumbly mini croissants - the types that someone took out of plastic clam shells and put on a few plates and plunked on the table in a small room off of the dining room. Gone were the salad selections but there was a bowl of semi-wilted mixed greens with some gloopy, factory-made dressing. Made to order omelette are still available but made in the kitchen. Smoked salmon is still available too but it s a special ask that arrives with two tiny, rolled pieces of smoked fish the size of two cigarettes. Everything smacks of cost-cutting, everything seems made in a factory and plated on-site. The one bright spot was our waitress who couldn t have been nicer but certainly don t come here for a special or celebratory occasion and definitely don t come for the food.
They have a really brunch buffet on Sunday.
The restaurant was wonderful to our Meetup group, Social Survivors Tribe. We had a large reservation with more than 20 members. Michael Ryan, our server, was the star of the event. He paid special attention to each person with his kind and exemplary service. THANK YOU MICHAEL.
Smiling happy service. Very decent food. Is it a Vegas buffet? No. Is it a lovely place to sit down and have a nice quiet lunch or brunch? Absolutely. It s also very nice because we brought our four-year-old and are working on table manners with her. And it s nice so it s like we re showing her how to go out to nice places and eat appropriately
Nice place, good food. Only real issue was not enough options on the menu..
Great staff, good drinks.
Convenient go to in the Desmond Hotel
It was decent. Expected better. Maybe it was an off night. Not very busy and the service was super slow.
My husband and I celebrated our one year marriage anniversary there today. Our first time dining here and our experience was great. They truly made our time there special and went out of their way to ensure we had a good celebration. The food was delicious and the peach Bellini was outstanding. I highly recommend their brunch!!
Met my familys diverse food likes & dislikes.
Love this place for the Sunday brunch! Great variety and quality for 25usd/each!
I love this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. They have the best scallops Ive ever eaten. The staff makes you feel like a valued customer and they go out of their way to make sure that you enjoy your meal.
This review is exclusively for the brunch buffet - I was surprised about the quality after seeing the awesome pics and reviews. The brunch buffet is reminiscent of a cheap hotel continental breakfast, but priced at $29/person Service was ok, but super slow.
The brunch buffet is outstanding!
Best food (and I m picky!!), phenomenal atmosphere (especially if you sit outside!) and impeccable service, particularly from Michael. He puts me in the best mood after driving for hours!! Love coming here always
Everything is good off the menu... Try something different everytime and havent found something I dont like
We spent the weekend here for a wedding. It was fabulous. The food was great. They make sure to offer menu items that conform to any food allergies or restrictions. All food is labeled, so youre not guessing. The rooms are clean. It is enjoyable staying here.
Honestly, we went to this buffet pre-covid and it was outstanding. They had a huge selection and it was delicious. This is our first time back post covid and it is not what it used to be. The main buffet room is seriously lacking. They used to have cheeses and a large spread. Now it s pared down to very little selection. There used to be so many salad options and now you get lettuce and maybe a half of dozen toppings. It was really disappointing for the price charged. I honestly wouldn t waste my time or money here again. However, the service was great. The drinks were brought out promptly and they were very friendly. It s unfortunate that this buffet is not what it used to be at all. I wouldn t come back.
Outstanding!!!
20 years ago we had our wedding reception at the Desmond. Went back fir our 20th anniversary at the Fork & Bottle and had an awesome experience!!
Staff was so accommodating! We planned a team brunch for when we were in town for a youth sports tournament. Carmen was my contact person, and she was fantastic! Very flexible, even with last minute plans and uncertain headcount. Everyone was very happy with the brunch, the facilities, and we had a great time together as a team (17/18 year olds who wanted somewhere nice to go) and parents. Highly recommend for group functions!
Beautiful place
We rented out a private room for my birthday party. They hadn t returned my moms call to discuss the seating arrangement. I had hoped to have several tables pushed together to make one big table, but we arrived to two circle tables. We had three last minute cancellations so we were able to put the two circle tables together to create a figure 8 table. (13 people total) The room was large and airy with lots of windows and tables to put things on. (Coats, hats, cakes, decor, etc.) Our server was Casey and he was very easy going and helpful with our table reorganization. He took our group picture. He was very good about checking in on us without constantly bothering us. He paid attention to when people s drinks were running out, and was quick to offer refills. Everyone seemed happy with their food and I enjoyed my chopped salad with chicken. The party went off without a hitch and everyone enjoyed themselves. Casey and other employees were very helpful. I would definitely host a party here again. It was stress free.
Server was so delightful. Great place to go with friends. Able to talk and laugh. No rush.
Had a good time
Closed. Probably permanently.
Nice place, almost 30 in our group. Good menu selection and beverage too. Great staff.
Its located in the hotel, so its convenient. Food was ok, drinks were great!
This is your site to host your next special event!

Was here for a baptism luncheon ... The food, service, and the atmosphere were good! All the employees working there were very helpful.
Service and food was exceptional.
Absolutely loved our wedding reception last night, the food, drinks and staff were amazing, our stay last night was over and beyond. We will definitely be back again real soon, a thousand thank yous to the Desmond hotel.
Delicious food, good service.
Prepared a custom meal to meet my dietary needs
Great Food!
I went there for my Great Aunts funeral. The sitting room was gorgeous with lots of natural light. The food was delicious, especially the mushroom bisque. The staff were all very kind and understanding. Going there seemed to help everyone relax, and connect after the long day we had.
It catered affair for a wedding. It was pretty good
Very good food for a hotel restaurant
Food is absolutely amazing!
Excellent food and service. Never disappoints.
Great Place!
Went to a friends wedding recently and they did an amazing job with food, facilities, and distancing. I was REALLY IMPRESSED!
Great place
Real cuisine, good ingridients.

This place is fantastic!!!
Great food and service!
Brunch is delicious. Great variety!
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food.
First class menu nice presentation of food. Attentive staff. Will go back again.
Food was good. Service was slow.
We were here for a wedding. Everything was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.
over priced, food was good,
Wonderful food and great service! The kitchen and waiting staff is delightful and they are all amazing people! Highly recommend!
It was very nice. Clean and staff very pleasant
Great brunch! A vast assortment of options. Great service, both on the serving line and at the table. Will definitely be back!
Food was good. Staff was friendly. I had the swordfish. Was slightly over done. The atmosphere was great. Lots of capacity to hold a large event.
Dont know how the Fork and Bottle is ...I was at a wedding in the conservatory with reception in Garden Room...it was lovely and food was very good
Came for a corporate dinner. Service nice. Very attentive to late arrives. Soup and salad were nice. Particularly livered the spinach and goat cheese salad. Sadly, the miso salmon was a total disappointment. It was pretty clear that these were frozen, single serve portions a la Sams Club or BJs Wholesale. I finished mine as it was adequate but others didnt...describing their salmon as a piece of dry foam. Folks who got the steak tips seemed happy with their decision. Chocolate dessert was good.
Liked it.
The staff took care of all 16 of us Ina timely and attentive manner. All of our meals were served hot and delicious! I would done again.
Wonderful Birthday dinner with family! Food was delicious, service was perfect!
Decent pub located inside Desmond hotel.
A little pricey but the food was excellent and so was the service
Great lunch buffet. The restaurant was recently renovated. It is very nice.
Loved this restaurant!! Best meal Ive had all year, great ambience and service!
Unbelievable
Great service delicious food! Comfortable seats and nice decor. I dont think you could ask for much more! We will go back again.

We went as a large family, some came from Va n got lost brunch was over but this place made time to feed the rest of our group we will be always come back. Thanks for that The Desmond.
Expensive, but ok
Great food, great friends...they never let us down....
Great food. Varied menu. Creative. Much locally sourced. Well presented food. Delicious. Lovely evening. Very pleasant atmosphere. Great service.
Good but not as good as I remember prior to the Hilton take over. I will keep an open mind and see if they improve in the future.
One of the best meals Ive ever had, the duck was delicious, octopus appetizer was amazing service was outstanding andy dining companions really enjoyed their meals.
The scallops were very good.
We stayed over night and the place was great very professional, and their brunch buffet was Awsome.
Great place for a private lunch
Excellent meal with the first-class service.
We were given a gift certificate for this brunch, so we had nothing to lose. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised. Theres something for everyone at this classy brunch buffet in the Desmond Hotels Fork and Bottle restaurant. For the breakfast purist there are the traditional eggs made to order, thick French Toast, Belgian waffles, bacon, sausage, cream chipped beef, Danish and doughnuts. And if you havent had enough sugar, the dessert buffet is decadent with chocolate- covered strawberries and other delicacies. And for those smartly watching their bad carbs, there are vegetable crudites, a beautiful salad bar, fresh cut fruit, omelets with egg substitutes (egg whites etc), a carving station, V8 and tomato juice. The dining room is beautifully appointed and the service friendly and attentive. Well be back.
Menu is very sophisticated. Some things I didnt even know what they were. Waiter spent more time explaining the menu then actually taking our order. The manager Carmen couldnt have been nicer and more accommodating. Definitely took extra time to make sure we were all happy
Great white wine Sangria
Excellent experience. Food was great. Priced reasonably. Nice menu.
Great modern refurbishment, such friendly very professional staff. Sunday Brunch is outstanding. Highly recommended. Looking forward to a repeat. Cheers!
Amazing food and service. Great ambiance.
My family and I enjoyed a nice brunch at the Hunt Room. The server, Colin, was welcoming and professional, and the other staff members very courteous. While the brunch buffet with specialty menu was extensive and offered more options than could possibly be tried, the food was unfortunately mediocre. More unfortunate is that the last taste left was the $8 shots of espresso we were charged. All in, our coffee was $21 ($5 Capp and $16 for double shots) left us feeling taken advantage of and no matter how lovely an experience it could have been, the Hunt Room really missed the mark.
