We enjoyed our meal - great food, good prices and polite staff. We will definitely be back!

Yet again we have been disappointed. When the restaurant first opened we found it fabulous and we returned. But after the first order weve found the quality has really gone downhill.. Sunday we ordered chicken tenders, katsu chicken fries and ribs. (4th time weve ordered from here now) 2 of those things were okay but the katsu fries were disgusting. I spat my portion out and my partner just ate his as he was starving but said they were super bland and not up to the standard they used to be. Everything else was not worth the price they were charging, a pub is cheaper and more reliable. Parking: Difficult to find a parking spot as the car park around the back is very tight and everywhere else is double yellow

The food was incredible and the service was very quick! The member of staff who served us was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back

Food was OK but missing items and really late coming for the second time. Never again, were meant to give me refund and have not yet. Avoid this place service is shocking

The food is decent but the service is dire , if you want to order in person prepare to wait . And wait. Staff will ignore you with a passion We didn t actually end up eating on this occasion and won t bother returning Staff laughed when we complained about the wait I got money best spent elsewhere

Popped in to place a large order and waited 15mins with no service! Staff even laughed when I complained and left! What a waste of travel time especially for their food Food was always amazing but staff are a big NO NO I won t go back

Update: Latest order, missing items again, but the food went downhill significantly - blandest mac and cheese and the wings tasted old. Not again. Original: Ive ordered here a few times now, and the food is consistently delicious! The estimated times for delivery and pick up have not been accurate at all - usually approximately an hour late. There are no updates on the order on the website or via text. My drinks and blue cheese sauce have been missing from orders a few times as well. Its a shame about the long wait times because the food is quite good.

Bit pricey but was the best burger I have had in years !!!!

Food turned up over an hour late. When we initially phoned up after being notified our food had been delivered, having ordered through just eat. We were told our food was the next order out the door. 40 mins later we chased up to be told the same thing. When our order finally arrived items were missing and food was average.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO BOOK HILLBILLYS FOR AN EVENT READ!! We booked Hillbillys for a large event over the Aug bank holiday. They cancelled on us with 2 weeks notice and leaving us with 100+ppl to cater for at short notice!!! After we spent £££ on advertising them. No notice, just a call on a Sunday afternoon, Sorry, but not really sorry.

Food was very good. Dont forget to click Place order! It was worth the wait. Personally, I preferred the burger to the ribs.

Visited Hillbillys food truck at #thegrange Usk on 17th August. Had the Hank burger and loaded brisket fries, my partner had the Bean burger with parmesan and truffle fries. Food was delicious price was food truck prices. I dont normally eat burgers so for me to say it was delicious says a lot. Would definitely recommend and we would eat there again next time they are in Usk.

Awesome place. We had a very short amount of time before a train and they went above and beyond to get it to us ASAP. That was good enough to impress us, but then we tried the food - a beef burger, Asian style chicken burger, and fries - and all of it was absolutely excellent. Good people, good food.

First time eating in the other day and the food was not to disappoint. Was spot on like usual apart from getting served. Could see that the people preparing the food were in hillbillys tshirts as well as the delivery drivers we usually have but was served by a female who had just looked like she came straight from the gym. Gym clothing wasnt very flattering and was talking to us out of breath which didnt seem very professional. Other than that spot on.

We LOVE Hillbilly s. We order regularly and we have never had a bad meal. Delivery time is good, food is always 10/10 and the chicken wings, I just can t, phenomenal. If you haven t tried it, try it!

Cant recommend this place enough! Great atmosphere and fantastic food again last night (ate in with other half). Manager is really friendly and was happy to make the tweaks we wanted to our order. Burgers were best weve ever eaten anywhere, really tasty. Love the chilled vibe and will definitely be back again soon!

Food is great, which is why I keep going back. However, delivery service is appalling. Ordered at 18:20 on Saturday night, with delivery estimated at 19:20. Food hadn t arrived by 20, so called them to learn food was delivered (which it hasn t). Got a remake of the order and still waiting for that one at 21:00

Used to be so good but seems to have gone downhill. Was our go to place to get burgers, but took 2 hours to get our food and it was lukewarm, my friend ordered a burger and there was no mention of cheese anywhere on the description yet it was covered in cheese and the meat was overcooked. Really sad because we used to absolutely love it here, but that will be our last order since it just took so long we were absolutely starving.

Super peed off tonight...this was the most amazing burger Ive ever had, so stayed an extra night in the area just to take my partner....(we live 200 miles away) got there....sign said open...neon light on...not a soul in sight..had to get the pizza place next door to call manager as no one answered phone..turns out theyd taken all their staff to open another place. Nothing online about it, no sign on the door, no one answered phone...paid an extra £50 to stay in Malvern for this place...not happy

The food is tasty, good quality, etc. but extremely overpriced and slow service! For 2 burgers and a portion of chips, I was initially told there will be 25mins waiting time, which turned into 50mins! I tried to give this place another chance, but it seems that the waiting time is ridiculous. Just make sure you snack before you order.

Excellent burger, nice big crispy patties and for awesome value for money.

The food is always good however tonight I think was the final straw and it s unfortunate as I do enjoy the food. Ordered at 7:30pm and it s not 9:20pm. The food is still not here. Called twice was told it s being sorted around 8:30pm called again at 8:50pm told it s being sent with one of their own drivers. Please refer to my earlier paragraph. It s 9:22pm Infact and still not here! If you guys plan on delivering it that would be great

Disappointed. Thought we would give the place a second try.. Food was bland and unseasoned again, cruffin was frozen on the inside (ruined my first ever cruffin experience), I had a call to say they had given my partner the wrong order as he was walking in through the door - so he walked back to collect the correct order and was given no compensation (which is just poor customer service really).. For what you pay, you definitely dont get your moneys worth in taste (cheap ingredients) or in service. Sadly wont be returning again. One star.

Best burger joint in Malvern.

Hubby and me had a meal here last Friday evening for our Anniversary, it was very tasty, plenty to eat, decent price, good service, highly recommend eating here.

We really enjoyed our experience at Hillbillys. The food - and in particular the burgers and ribs - were exceptional. The burgers in particular were really original, high quality combinations and the ribs were well seasoned and fell off the bone. I thought the pricing was really reasonable considering how enjoyable the food was. My only constructive criticism for Hillbillys is: coat the chicken wings, as they were nicely cooked but lacked flavour. Also perhaps try to limit the time staff are out of the restaurant, as the lack of presence of a member of staff detracted from the atmosphere and made asking for things difficult. But they are only minor suggestions and I would definitely eat here again.

Amazing food. My wife and I redeemed a £30 gift card that someone bought us, which was easy enough to do online. Simply the best takeout in Malvern we ve had. Definitely worth the price and the quantity of food was perfect. Will order again. I ve only docked 1 star for service as the online ordering was overall a bit fiddly and it also had a brief issue with the address. Otherwise couldn t fault them!

It took two hours & two phone calls for a burger, portion of buffalo wings, portion of corn strips & a can of pop to be delivered less than a mile away - on a Wednesday evening in February. No offer of a refund on the high delivery cost either. And £20 minimum order. Far too slow, major hassle, will find another company next time.

Had to wait 25 minutes for the order past the arranged pick up time. Got home to find a burger missing having been assured the whole order was there despite trying to check it. Went back to get the missing burger and wasnt offered any recompense, had to argue for a partial refund. All the buns were burnt.

Food was really good, if a bit expensive, but really good quality burgers and interesting sides etc. Service was great, and the young lady who served us very helpful and knowledgeable. The eating area is rusticand tiny, and they would definitely benefit from a bigger site in future as there food could carry it. The only downside for us was the loud, repetitive music banging away in the background which was a bit headache inducing, just needs either to be turned down (quite a lot) or replaced with something less challenging.

I ordered at 7.15 and the food did not arrive until 9:10,food was warm when delivered.I ordered loaded fries which I found where very soggy and slightly un edible,pulled beef was extremely salty overpowering all other flavours in the burger,wouldn t be eating from here again and thought it was overpriced fir the quality of food .

Meat burgers were excellent but vegan burger overdone, frankly burnt. Dirty fries a bit dry - needed more sauce. Advise calling after you order online as they seemed very busy and struggling to keep up.

Worth every last penny. Finally decent takeaway food in Malvern, no more trips to Hereford for a good burger! We ve ordered several times, working our way through everything, and absolutely nothing has disappointed. Staff are all lovely and welcoming, and have fine taste in music! 100% recommend, and we will continue to order as regularly as we can :)

Well I forgot to take the pic b4 I started eating. This food is top top tier. Malvern has been screaming for some decent grub for years and hillbillys has smashed it! This is my 3rd order and all 3 have been bang on!! Fast, flavours, quality, price..it literally has it all! My favorite takeaway in Malvern hands down! Service was excellent, young lady was very welcoming! Best way to go into the new year!

Chicken wings are to die for, tacos are amazing and the sides are just the best!!! Havent tried a burger yet but will 100% be going back! Plus the brownies are delicious!

Better than Beefy Boys

First class burgers! Absolutely delicious. Ordered online for collection and was ready within 5 mins of the specified time.

Ordered chicken wings, loaded fries, frickles and onion rings, came to around £25. The large portion of chicken wings was generous and had about 16 wings, great sauce and a crispy coating. Service in the kitchen was obviously busy, but the staff were polite and professional throughout. The pick-up time was clearly displayed on the website throughout the order process.

1st time ordering from Hillbillys tonight, really impressed. It might seem a bit expensive compared to other places but the quality of food is excellent. Really tasty, beef taco was amazing and my partner had a burger which was top notch too. 100 per cent worth the money.

What can we say...best burgers we can remember...so so tasty. And, after waiting a little longer than expected they gifted us some delicious brownies. Will definitely order from them again.

Awful. Delivery took longer than advised by 30 mins. It was very overpriced which you can deal with if the food is good. I had half a rack of ribs which were tiny and about 1/2 the size of a half rack from harvester. And really fatty and cold, they tasted awful, the harvester ones aren t great but much better. The Mac and cheese was also cold and not very flavourful. The best thing was the rosemary fries which were hot and tasty but the portion was very small for over £4. Not worth the money. I won t order again. I can make much better at home for a third of the money.Don t skimp on your portions, to pay almost £30 for a meal for one and get a kids sized portion is not on during a cost of living crises.

After reading reviews we thought wed give Hillbillys a go - and they didnt disappoint! Three dishes: Mac Cheese, dirty fries with vegan chicken and sweet and sticky seseme seed chicken wings. We picked it up - friendly staff and food was ready just about on time. It was piping hot and all dishes very tasty indeed! I liked the fact that they came in cardboard boxes so could be recycled. Portions were just right too. I picked up a menu too which I found easier to follow than the website. The guy in the kitchen said to me well definitely be back... hes not wrong! One question I do have is concerning Gluten Free food. A good friend of ours would love the food but is wheat intolerent.. I saw no reference to GF food on the menu.

Burgers are amazing and so are the wings, nachos arent my cup of tea but will definitely be ordering more food

Mine and my 10year olds first time. He loved the wings and burger bao buns amazing. As were my wings. Defo be back in the words of the boy BANGIN...

food was awful, tasteless dry macaroni cheese, no sauce on wings along with no blue cheese sauce. Burnt ends more like burnt fat! Also ordered cauliflower hot wings, no mention of gluten on there so beware they do contain it! Poor shoe and very poor customer service when I rang up to complain about all of these, no refund offered I had to ask! We used these regularly before and no issues. This will be the last over prices underaged food!

Absolutely loved it, quick delivery on a Saturday night exceed expectations, and the food was as good as Id hoped it was going to be. Awesome.

I thought it looked a bit pricey for a takeaway, but you get what you pay for. All the food was very good. We had two smash burgers, the vegan burger and Katsu loaded fries. Well definitely be back.

Sadly really disappointing, ordered on the website and asked for changes via the comments box, when delivered these changes weren t made. Really wanted to support but this is the third try and the mac and cheese had little to no cheese just full of oil. Sadly won t order from again, let down.

Disappointing. Ordered a half rack of ribs with chips and my partner ordered a burger with wings. Ribs very tasteless, not meaty and very fatty. Chips over cooked. Wings were also fatty, dry, small and not tasty at all. Such a shame as I was hoping for good things. Could be improved with better quality meat, it felt like cheap ingredients were used. I think maybe you need to sit down and taste the menu you are serving because it could be a lot better.

We order from hillbillys a disgusting amount of times a week, but the foods so good it overrides our common sense we order the bullseye burger, the pork down and dirty fries and halloumi fries. We waited for so long to have a favourite takeaway in Malvern and now its here we cant get enough! Its our end of the week treat. Weve also tried the bao buns which are amazing, and the honey and sesame chicken wings. Some of the best wings weve ever had. The mac and cheese is also delish, really homely and morish. The loaded Katsu fries and vegan down and dirty fries are also yummy. Im not vegan myself but the sauces and topping hillbillys use make all the vegan food delicious. And the bakes by gee are the perfect end to a scrumptious and very fulling meal. Food is great, really tasty. Unfortunately the delivery tonight was appalling. Was estimated via website as being 8:00 - 8:15. Food finally arrived at 9:45. 90 minutes late. No direct update was provided although there was a post on Facebook to say they were really busy. Really disappointing.

We were a group of 10, the food was an hour late, the burgers were not marked so we didn t know which burger was in the box. We had to heat up the food in the oven. It did ruin the whole evening a bit. The food was nice but I won t do delivery again from then!! :-(

Wow - thank you, what service! You really made an evening of fun for everyone. We had the opportunity to play guess the burger, we also got the chance to see what cold fries taste like after 20mins being rewarmed. Unfortunately, my friend Buddy was not amused. The telephone response from the director was less than helpful when he eventually got through. In your favour is that we only gave you 8 hrs pre warning to get the order ready. I m so sorry we caught you off guard. We re planning an event in May, should we get our orders in pre 2024?

Ordered this mid afternoon for a 1930 delivery. Within 3 miles of location. When they were 15 mins late we started to see if they were on the way. The phone number rang to voice mail without ability to leave a message. When delivery driver called 25mins late he was more than 20mins drive away. Eventually they arrived at least 45mins late. The food was cold at this point. But EVEN more of a problem was that none of the items were labelled in any way whatsoever. Any attempt to give individuals their tepid food was made almost infinitely more complex as any of the boxes were labelled. Vegetarian, vice burgers , vice lamb was a voyage of discovery. No one really were sure if they got their order. Good job there no food allergies. Or anyone with a religious limitation. Hopefully my god won t smite you. Once reheated, the food was ok. But I wasn t sure if I ate what I ordered. .

We had to make multiple calls to find out why the food was late (we were a group of ten). The food was good quality but it was spoiled by the late arrival. Also, I had ordered a vegetarian burger & marking/labelling the boxes would be useful so that we don t have to check every box to find out which is which. Good food but obviously struggling to deliver to large groups at busy times. We were given a discount of 20% for the late delivery.

You gotta try this place, we had an enormous order at the weekend for a birthday party, we had nearly everything off the menu , it was absolutely amazing, everything perfectly cooked, nice and hot and portions generous , everyone was blown away, best Street food i have ever eaten

We visited on Saturday to try out their new sit in service but we were quite disappointed. Service was extremely slow and I had to chase ordering as it wasnt clear whether there was table service or not. It felt as if they had just extended their waiting area as those collecting food were also told to wait in the sit in premises and they therefore took up all the seats and tables which made it feel like we shouldnt be expecting to be able to eat in. Food took around 45 minutes to be delivered to us in boxes and we were not prioritised over those who had ordered to take away so we might as well had ordered over the phone or on the website for delivery! The burger and chips were nice but the Mac and cheese was not great. It tasted from a tin and had hardly any cheese and no crumb to it. It felt as though the seat in service was no different to ordering food to go so we would not recommend eating in as the experience was no different at all. No apology for late food either. We did not feel valued as customers. Its a shame because the first two orders we made when they first opened were amazing, however the last two orders were extremely disappointing. We previously ordered the pork belly bites and instead the pork came in a big slab and was extremely fatty and inedible. I hate to say it but this was the last straw for hillbillies. We gave them a second change but wont be returning again.

Had an amazing brunch, very good value for money and will definitely be back to work our way through the menu!

Got lucky and secured an order for delivery on a Friday night. I have been looking for a burger shop in Malvern for ages and finally one is here!!! Burger was perfection, mouth-wateringly tasty! Dirty fries were just dutty and tasted awesome. Delivery was on time and delivered with a smile. All I need is you to open 7 days a week. Well done guys, proper food at reasonable prices. Sure to be a big success.

How have I only just found this ! Amazing street food , customer service and most of all amazing quality and quantity. I really recommend the honey and soy chicken wings we shared a Kg box between two as well as Mac and cheese balls and sweetcorn strips. TOO DIE FOR !

I Recently went to Hillbillys, and it was a great experience and burger venue. For those local its a cross between burger shop Hereford and the beefy boys. But with less grease! I had the big blue special and bullseye smash burger, Sides of mac and cheese balls, sweetcorn strips, onion rings and slaw, fries. All delicious. The burgers were tasty, a tiny bit of pink in the meat, which some would want cooked more, I am ok with it, but very juicy and flavoursome, the sides are fantastic. The burger is packaged well, as was everything else was, and looks great, tastes great, and one to remember. A minor issue on the order but didnt take away from the overall experience I Wish these guys would broaden the delivery service (Ledbury). I Would pay a bit more for that. A weekly treat. The food was still hot enough to eat upon return :-) For those looking at this review, this is a startup, does great food and you need to support it, for burger lovers, its a must from the usuals. You wont regret it Highly Recommended and apparently according to Google, being in the top 10% of burger reviewers and 2million views across it all, youll have to take my final words, you wont regret it. Absolutely splendid food. The Boss Man burger was awesome. The Tacos were superb. Delicious, marvelous, scrumptious,etc. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Best takeaway I ve had in Malvern! Spent £40 on 2 x burgers and 2 x sides it was 100% worth the money. Absolute finesse on every item!! Would recommend - nothing else like this in the area!

This establishment has made a hypocrite out of me and I love it! I hate skin-on fries to the point of being a zealot; normally finding the texture of the fried skin to be like eating grit. These fries, however, are not only edible, but the best fries I have had! The rest of the food, as the other reviews have pointed out, exceeds all expectations. You are paying for the quality and it is well worth the cost.

Absolutely worth it!!! We splashed out and ordered 4 burgers and 6 sides for our family this evening, and it s got to be one of the best take aways we ve ever had! Sooo so yummy! Worth every penny!

As much as i want to like this place (we ve had 3 orders now), it just fails to deliver. We waited 2.5 hours for our food, despite being told numerous times on the phone, it was going out the door in a few minutes. The food we received was good, don t get me wrong, but to have then have items missing is quite poor considering the time scale from ordering to delivery. I m not sure what is going wrong, but the basics need to be addressed before we could recommend.
