Delicious fish, chips and mushy peas. The fish comes in a nice, light, crispy batter The chips are nice and crisp and the mushy peas are nice too.
Awful worst battered fish I have ever tried to eat, hard chewing, rubbery fish. Batter thick and hard, tasteless. too much batter. two bites and threw it away, waste of £9.95. Never again :(
Crispy batter but fish dry inside. Chips were horrible, undercooked and soggy. This happened number of times now. Since this place been taken over its gone downhill. Will go elsewhere next time.
Ordered online - i bought these online and got it delivered - the meat was really nice and donor was thick - i bought a large mixed meat and chips for around £10, got to say the portion of meat was very low. I had lots of chips compared to the small amount of meat. Personally the curry sauce was not good as it had A LOT of chunks and expensive for how much liquid is actually in the pot. Overall the service, logistics and packaging was great 👍🏻
AVOID. Smell fish before buying. Sold us rotten smelling fish. Bought it for my child to eat when my wife check it, it was rotten. When returning the guy said he will give us half fish because we ate half of it. I told him to keep his charity.
Very disappointing. Soggy batter on the fish. The fish itself was dry. Chips very average. Poor quality ketchup and Mayo, considering the fish and chips weren't cheap. Impatient service.
Pretty standard fish and chip shop, the fish was excellent, very generous portion with lovely crispy batter. The chips were a bit soggy even tho we didn't put vinegar at the shop. They don't taste double fried. Mushy peas were a bit bland, curry sauce was ordinary and the tubs are tiny for the small size. I'd have it again at a push but won't be my first choice.
I am leaving this review on behalf of my partner. My fish was overcooked and very dry. Ate half and the rest went into the bin. My son's order, chicken tikka and donner meat were both dry and rubbery, most of which went into the bin. My partners food, chicken meat, was also very dry and rubbery. That also ended up in the bin. She decided to speak to the manager to make them aware of our disappointment and that the food was of a poor standard. He was not interested at all and made no attempt to apologise. In fact his response was quite shocking in saying that she was lying. So it is with this negative attitude that we are leaving a well deserved one star review. It would seem that the manager just doesn't care anymore. I wasn't too surprised reading the other bad reviews.
Had 2 large kebabs. No salad despite being asked if I wanted, dry and over priced. Not good at all, poor poor service and food. I ll go elsewhere in future
Since being taken over the food is terrible, it was the worse fish & Chips ive ever had and at £26 for two portions.
Rotten smelly fish sold to us. Never buying again and advise others to avoid this place.
It s a shame this place has gone downhill, it used to be a great chippy, but I m afraid not any more. unfortunately it s not like a traditional fish and chip shop anymore.

Delicious fried chicken and crispy fish...mmm !
Postives are it looked clean and staff friendly. Chips were just hot potato, slippy slimey and tasteless, no crunch or flavour- not helped by vinegar so weak as I guess diluted far more than should be.

Chips not cooked properly & poor customer service
Good portions but the chips felt really greasy & heavy, and the chicken meat was not nice - mostly chewy and nasty. None of us ate what we bought.
Ignored by the staff when we walked in especially the guy Not cooking the chips properly!! Chips soggy, tepid and tasteless , Curry sauce worst ever! 2 portions of chips, 2 curry sauce and a can £10!!! Rip off... Suggest you try somewhere else...

Just had the most disgusting excuse for fish and chips delivered that I have ever experienced. Chips were hard and stale, probably left over from lunchtime. The batter on the fish was hard. Rang to complain and they couldnt care less. You need to sort out the quality of your food and also your attitude.
Tried ordering online twice. The first time it got cancelled, second time it just timed out. Money was still taken. Never actually got to try the food. Just beware if you are on a budget as it takes 24 hours for a refund.

Tried fish and chips again tonight,fish very dry and chips oily and soggy!
Discovered a hair in my food which put me off completely. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and ordered again a month or so later to find another hair in my food! Unfortunate as it s local and usually nice but put off by this.

Worst fish and chips in Malvern!!!! Staff was beyond rude and nasty - spoke rude and mocking comments to us! Staff was wearing no face masks, serving food with the bare hands (picking the fish up with their hands) the one rude lady was wearing stick on plastic nails! Which is beyond appropriate for working with food! We had to go back 3 times - first order was wrong and cold second time round they just gave us the same food how disgusting. And the third time round we flat out asked for a refund they refused to give it back over card (I m assuming to avoid questions) just shameful. Horrible disgusting staff. Cold, stale and sweaty food. Never go here!
Had to wait a while to be served but it was worth the wait. I like the fact that the staff remember peoples preferences, even the awkward ones. A proper local chippy, great stuff.
Noobie sauce arrangement on kebab.
Dreadful cod (if you could find it) just a load of overcooked batter with so little fish. Chips were all bits, with very few whole ones. Food was very greasy, leaking through all the wrapping onto paper bag. Will not be using this place again......there are much better fish &chips shops in Malvern than this one.

This was my first and so far only visit, generally it appears good, the only fly in the ointment was that the chicken breast that was part of the order was stone cold in the middle, it had been precooked so it wasnt raw, it just hadnt been heated through properly. I will give the place another go to see if this was just a one off, if not Ill try another chippy.
Ordered food on line and given time to pick up. Food there ready, no waiting. Food was fantastic ,delicious and generous. Would recommend to anyone.

Great fish bar, they provided 23 fish or sausage and chips for our scout section after their walk on the Malvern hills. The order was correct, freshly made and ready on time. The young people all enjoyed their treat at the end thank you.
Consistently good and caters well for gluten free. Always our first choice.

Got myself partner and children an evening meal from this place a few weeks back. The service was good the food was so poor the chips were old and everything taste off old cooking oil I have a cheese burger and chips and was on the toilet straight after for 24 hours I wont be returning ever again once was enough. Avoid this chip shop unless you like yesterdays chips in last years oil.

Generally good quality fish and chips, sometimes hit and miss particularly if you call in past 8pm. Staff and owners always friendly and helpful. Prices reasonable and being on the main road is very convenient.

Came here after a 4am start, 4 hour drive and a dog show; tired and starving. Ordered a large amount of food for a car full of people and have zero complaints. The food was lovely, portions were massive (think whale not fish) and the staff were lovely. Would definitely return for more if Im back in this part of the country.
Very poor owner was more interested in messing around than doing order and when kebab was done chips had been done for 10 min and left by salad bit told him to keep chips wont go the ever again

We ordered 3 large kebab it was £5.50it took a long time when I got home opened the parcel of kebab there was only a bit of meat I brought the 3rd one from hillside pizza it was only £4.50 with a lot more meat also went to link fish bar and the large chips was £3 I had never seen such a ridiculous price for some chip I also went to Yates hay chip shop and the large chips were only £2.40
We arrived here after a long day of travelling. I ordered two fish and chips please. I had been given two pieces of fish, with a few chips. After noticing that my order had been taken so literally, I asked for two portions of fish and chips, to feed two people. The manager was quite rude to me and mocked me for asking for what I wanted. He then gave me some more chips in another wrapped up parcel, to make the order feed two people. When I arrived home, the fish was in fact broken in two, and all of the chips were stuck together, in a potato mush. So disappointing!
But order was messed up
The staff in this shop are wonderful, so helpful. We had travelled to Malvern from Lancashire, to share a training workshop. My son( with special needs ) and I were lost. They did everything to direct us to the Abbey Hotel. One of their customers drove us there in his car. Very impressed !!!! The chips and fish were of an extremely high standard.
