50 Bellevue Terrace, Malvern WR14 4PZ, United Kingdom
Mulberry Tree is a contemporary restaurant & bar housed in the Mount Pleasant hotel, conveniently located in the heart of Great Malvern with direct access to the hills and beautiful view of the Priory and eastwards over the Vale of Evesham. At Mulberry Tree, we promise an exquisite culinary experience with british cuisine made from local, fresh and seasonal produce. We are open for breakfast for non -resident guests & have an extensive lunch & dinner menus with vegetarian & vegan options. We also cater for Afternoon teas & are famous for our Sunday Carvery. We have a state of art bar boasting of an extensive wine list, Scottish whiskeys and local gins. Happy hour on cocktails on Fridays & Saturdays.
We arrived for a late lunch around 2pm and were met with a nice welcome and served promptly. Nice ambience, good food, friendly staff. Would recommend.
Very disappointing evening. Was recommended by friends who had eaten there previously. Decided to go there for a birthday celebration. After placing our order we were approached by a member of staff to say they only had one steak that we ordered and offered another one with discount that was fine. However when the food arrived Two meals out of four could not be eaten and was sent back. All should have been sent back really the chips to go with the steak had to be ordered separately costing £4 and they were like scratchings. After the complaint the friendly attitude of the staff changed particularly the female member who became quite rude. Would I recommend to go there not at all over rated over priced. Shame its a lovely venue .
Despite not booking, a nice table by the bar was found for us to have lunch today 09/03/2024. We shared starters of halloumi fries and Thai fishcakes served with a small noodle stirfry and, for our mains, a crispy chicken burger and a veggie blue cheese burger. All delicious. The little stirfry with the fishcakes was a great addition and the burgers were served in toasted brioche buns with lots of fresh salad inside. The veggie burger was lentil based and really tasty. The fries were dry and crispy - just right. Along with 2 pints of Salt Jute IPA, a half of a guest GF ale and a 175ml glass of Pinot Grigio, the bill came to a very reasonable £68.85. If you're ever in Great Malvern I highly recommend trying this place!
Good quality food and friendly service. The choice of whisky can be improved. We enjoyed our choice of meal. The price is reasonable around £35 per person.
Enjoyable quick early evening dinner at The Mulberry Tree. Nice ambiance, (even good playlist playing music!). This place has a nice feel about it. Tucked away at the top of Great Malvern. I had the Cheeseburger (Brioche bun), topped with Camembert and onion marmalade. Parmesan truffle skinny fries and a Citrus Fruits Cheesecake. All lovely.
The place is really nice and and cosy. The food was really good, we had Gressingham duck and a venison burger. Both we really good. Personal preference was that the BBQ sauce was a bit too smokey and killed the flavour of the venison. This my personal opinion and is no reflection on the quality of the food. Really yummy would happily go back. Very reasonable when it comes to price too.
I ordered the duck. It was delicious. really enjoyed it. I did also order a side of veg and I'm glad I did as the dish definitely needed something. Would of been nice of there was a few more of the polenta fries and included some vegetables but was good all the same. Very welcoming atmosphere, staff were lovely and attentive.
Came to Malvern Worcestershire on a day trip for my nephew's SAT exams, whilst he was doing his stuff, my sister and I wondered over after searching best places for breakfast in Malvern and this restaurant came back as no 3. We headed down and the overall experience was good. The location is on a very very very busy high road so parking is an issue, we had to park along the road and coming out of the spot was like redoing your driving test 😀 On arrival there was a very hardworking lady who was the only one present waiting the tables, she was pleasant as well forgot her name but she held things down...kudos to her 👌🏼 The food was brilliant and please note, teas/coffees and toast is not included in the breakfast charge. Those cost more. Tables were well spaced out, I guess for social distancing reasons, as there are also guests staying in the house, there was a steady flow of people. Very tasty meal I must say, I enjoyed the hash browns the most. I would visit again if am around there for a proper meal this time I suppose👍🏼
Cannot cater for people with peanut or nut allergies due to cross contamination. So not suitable for people who suffer with this, unfortunately meant that I attended a family meal and was forced to not eat anything. Will not be coming here again, staff were kind and understanding but the kitchen should be capable with dealing with allergens considering they state they can cater for other dietary options.
Fabulous meal and wonderful service. Staff friendly, polite and attentive. Food delicious. Totally recommend.
Excellent meal, service and ambience.
Excellent service. Wonderful meal. Recommended.
Nice and great welcome
Excellent meal with family.
Service was awful also when my partner finished his starter they came over to take plates thought I was finished to but wasnt Im gluten free an lactose free was much alternatives for me as they said there was so very disappointed with that too over priced for what your given shame really as everyone highly recommends this place
My friends 40th so took a box with 40 gifts in it she was opening it prior to afternoon tea the waiter was very miserable and said we will need all the tablets there s a lot of food We was on a table for 4 and only 3 of us? Food came the avocado was in big chunks inedible and the hummus was soggy so ate the chicken and cheese even those had stale crusts The scone was more like a rock crack. The place was empty so no atmosphere and the staff were miserable It was very disappointing was supposed to be a treat for my friends birthday but we was not impressed for the money not worth it
Squeezed us in without a reservation on a busy night, still got prompt service and delicious food, the lamb shoulder was so tender and tasty I could have ordered another!
We ve never been to Malvern before so took a chance on this place. It did not disappoint. The service was exceptional and the steaks were delicious. Can t fault this place at all.
Just had an excellent breakfast here with my husband. Wonderful staff, beautiful views and delicious food. Thank you
Classic full English
Excellent Sunday lunch
Quiet sophisticated dining with excellent friendly service. We had the catch of the day which was a very well cooked sea bass fillet; a beautiful shallot and goats cheese tarte tatin; and then shared the three cheese board. All were fantastic. A very nice pint of cask ale was an unexpected surprise too. We will definitely be back.
Great food lovely staff
Great place to eat with gluten free options. Compliments to the chef - confit duck leg with sweet potato and beetroot gratin was very special! Very friendly and attentive service. Staff went out of their way to accommodate my wifes coeliac needs.
We had a fabulous meal here. Thoroughly recommend it. Stylish surroundings and relaxed atmosphere. I had the roast guinea fowl which was superb. The staff were friendly and professional and clearly cared that their guests had a nice experience. Cant recommend it enough.
Good amount of choice on the menu. Portion size was big enough for 2 courses to be ok, but small enough to allow for dessert it you want. Really good flavours on everything we had, well presented. Had a lovely bottle of red wine, within our price comfort range. Service was good, there when needed without hovering. Well spaced out tables.
I came here for afternoon tea early last year. Probably the worst afternoon tea Ive ever had. Couldnt stomach the inedible sandwiches so ate the sweet items which were alright, nothing spectacular. The bread for the sandwiches was incredibly stale and absolutely lathered in margarine (yuck)! The aluminium tea-pots were incredibly stained. Disappointing experience given how positive the reviews were regarding afternoon tea. Maybe they were having an off-day...
Pretty abysmal tbh. Sunday lunch completely without flavour. Gravy just brown coloured water. Luke warm food served on cold plates. Poor beer selection, only one real ale. despite the promise of three. The chef was too pompous to accommodate medium cooked roast beef, not really a chef judging by the quality of the food - just a reheater. Worst Sunday lunch experience weve ever had, we will not return.
I didnt have food, just had a few drinks. Beer was nice. Definitely go back
Food was exceptional but doesnt receive full 5 stars as portion size was a little smaller than expected. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. There is also a great selection of drinks. Restaurant/bar area gives a quite and sophisticated vibe. Highly recommended if you are in the malvern area. Vegetarian options: Could do with a few more or have the option to replace meat items with an alternative. Parking: Parking lot spaces depends on how busy the resturant is. But plenty of parking available for free on the Wells Road.
Nice latte at a reasonable price when all the usual coffee shops were closed. Will go again.
New years eve, stayed at the hotel, gorgeous view from the room to the cathedral. Food was fabulously cooked 5 course meal was £55pp
Traveled from Birmingham just to dine here, after finding the place on OpenTable. Was not disappointed. Service was excellent and the food is top notch.
Sunday Lunch.....delicious !
Quick service, nice food, pleasant staff. One of the servers in particular was very attentive and polite, manager/supervisor?
Weve eaten here quite a few times, the food is always great quality and the staff are lovely. We were a little disappointed in the lunchtime menu this time, there wasnt much choice.
The menu, the place I cannot fault but knowledge of their industry regarding allergies is not good enough. During these times when children are dying on aeroplanes from allergies to pumpkin seeds it is a major concern anyone dining with any dietary requirements as they don t have complete understanding of this issue. We passed this whilst waking and the environment was clean and friendly and needed lunch. The lunch menu stated all sandwiches available with Gluten free bread, which is a bonus. Our order was clear, 2 x gluten free and 1 normal . We qualified the fries and again had a conversation about the gluten intolerance and the order was taken down as brown bread. We questioned this a 3rd time and confirmed. When something is too good to be true it usually is!! And anyone with a gluten allergy will know that the bread isn t as good. My order came, confirmed as it looked too good, asked for the brand as well so I could find it when I got home, and I tucked it. The waiter then popped back to say it isn t gluten free whilst 4 big bites into the sandwich. He then came back with another sandwich (non gluten this time) but at this point my body started to reject it and I was shaking uncontrollably so I refused it as I felt too sick. After a few conversations they offered to remove my food from the bill, although I hadn t eaten it, and what I had eaten was poisoning me. After more conversations, and a very unhappy lunch and some concern from my family, the general manager arrived. We did succeed at 50% off a total bill, still not enough in my opinion but better than the 25% offered by the duty manager. As we eat out so often, so many restaurants take this so seriously, everything with an allergy is double checked by a manager, here there is no such checks. It s a good job I don t have an allergic reaction causing my throat to swell up and much more life threatening side effects otherwise I wouldn t be writing this. Shame, as the food they served did look good but spoilt an enjoyable day out. Dietary restrictions: There needs to be some major overhaul of the way they take and manage dietary requirements or someone could die on their premises.
Beautiful place perfect Sunday Dinner
Best Sunday roast weve had in a very long time! If youre visiting Malvern youve got to come here for sure... We will be back again. Yummy Parking: Limited spaces but managed to park no problem
Nice interior. Service was good. Food: Sea-bass average, bit dry and served with giant beans which caused us a lot of belly ache and hard night. A big mistake of the restaurant serving that. No sides had to be ordered separately. The price high - around £19 for fish with beans only / no garnish, no salads or sides. The taste was very average as well. I would recommend chips with Parmesan.
As usual, top service, top food, very pleasant way of spending bank holiday Monday!
Food & service really good. Staff friendly & efficient. Would recommend.
Lovely food and great service
Very pleasant evening. Interesting range of dishes available. Very pleasant Rioja on the menu.
Let s start with the super sticky tables, only positiv thing about that is that your glass can t slide of the table. The main dishes we ordered were very small and felt more like a starter (but definitely a main price). Can t really recommend :(
Friendly Service. Be sure to Register your vehicle quickly.
A lovely place to eat with very good food.
Lovely place, well laid out. Service efficient but not intrusive. Most food excellent but my chicken burger was a bit dry. Puddings were tasty, big enough but overpriced for the size in my opinion
Nice food and nice staff.
Was a surprise meal prior to going to the Theatre. Food was lovely although the chips.... were not chips !! Some people were quite rude to staff which was not needed as they were so pleasant and didnt bother you while eating. But by the by... Great experience and would go there again. Thank you
Had a lovely meal, with friends, service was attentive without being pressurising
Just had the tastiest dinner at the Mulberry Tree. Food really is good. I had camembert starter and tarragon chicken. Chicken flavours wow! My husband had lamb chops, tasted good but very small portion! Would be only critique. You would most certainly need side orders too.
Staff helped 3 bikers heading to Cardiff from Peak district on a very wet day. They served us lovely burgers after the kitchen was closed. Highly recommended
Staff were very pleasant, food was lovely. We came in as a walk in , today during a busy time and still got a table. Lovely place. Represented reasonable value for money. Vegetarian options: They had some really nice vegetarian options.
Best Sunday Roast ever - good service as well! :)
Called in for lunch, very pleasant atmosphere and ambiénce, Maitré D was a friendly, helpful, and charming guy, professional to a tee. I was slightly disappointed in the lunchtime menu selections available (hence 4 stars, not 5), as it was mainly burgers, steak, or Fish and chips for the mains. Evening selection is much more varied. Sandwiches served to a nearby table looked fantastic. My fault, I should have checked the menu first. That said, we opted for steaks, which were very nice, mushrooms and tomatoes that accompanied the steaks were full of flavour, the chips were very nicely cooked and presented too. Sometimes a meal is as much about the occasion as it is the food (no complaints) and we had a very enjoyable lunch. I would certainly call again if we were in the area.
Really great food loved it. Staff very friendly. Superb thank you.
Very nice restaurant serving delicious fare.
No disabled toilet. We are locals and will pop into the Mulberry Tree from time to time, the service is good and the food nice but something that is overlooked and a real problem for us is the lack of a disabled loo. We will keep coming back to the Mulberry tree as we enjoy it but what would make it perfect is if it could be made accessible to those with disabilities. Wheelchair accessibility: Poor with no disabled loo.
A pleasant brunch in a lovely location, although the menu was a bit limited
I didnt know fish and chips could taste so good, this is no exaggeration, i actually did not know a chopped potato could be made to send my soul taste bud first into the expanse of the deep bliss. Who ever the chef is they are extremely talented and not even charging a premium, yes please.
Nice comfortable place to have lunch but the food not as good as it should be for the price.
Visited last night for the first time, enjoying a pre-theatre dinner, with my parents and we all had a really lovely time. The food was delicious, catering for an off the menu selection as well as enjoying their recommended fish & chips. Lovely selection of hot and cold drinks, and all served by an extremely friendly and professional team who made us feel so welcome, and in a really comfortable and contemporary restaurant. Will definitely be going back and recommending to friends. Dietary restrictions: As discussed and agreed with both the Receptionist and Chef, I was made a delicious chicken salad during dinner service, which was not on the main menu. Parking: Need to register your car upon entry, and quite a limited size so dont go expecting a space.
Quality, tasty Sunday roast and the best desert I ve ever had. Lovely environment, excellent service. recommend.
Good value restaurant for pre theatre eats. Tasty food. Pleasant place. Good prices.
The food was well presented and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Wonderful restaurant with superb food. Staff are efficient and friendly, I cant recommend highly enough.
Stopped for a drink in The Mulberry Tree, which has a lovely atmosphere and a pretty view. Cant recommend the Atlantic Pale Ale, which was either off or just not nice, but they do have a wide selection of gins if thats your thing. Will definitely revisit and try a different tipple.
Popped in on the off chance there was a spare table for 2. Staff were lovely and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, we were seated quickly next to the open fire which was brilliant as it felt like -2 outside! Food was delicious, slow cooked pork belly just melted in the mouth. Good range of drinks, all reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.
Lovely place to eat. Friendly and helpful staff.
The food was very good. Unfortunately there are no services for the disabled.. Great shame, they need to make it clear on their advertising that there are no disabled facilities .
Booked table for 10 for family Sunday lunch. Staff were brillant - cheerful, helpful and efficient. All food was amazing especially the Sunday roast. High quality beef & roast potatoes done properly (!) with excellent accompanying vegetables. Very reasonably priced .Will definitely be back.
Nice Sunday lunch with good service. Ambiance of the restaurant area very nice.
fab food great service
Had a lovely Sunday lunch. Service excellent and a reasonable price
Great, speedy service, nice food and lovely atmosphere.
Only had a drink here. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. Will go back again and have food too.
Just popped in for a beer. Nice place with lovely oak carved details and a smashing window with views over the Abbey and countryside.
Excellent restaurant, good food and attentive friendly staff. Recommend
Visited the Mulberry Tree as a solo diner on Thursday evening. Table booked for 6.30pn and already busy Seated quickly by the window chose a mulberry cocktail absolutely delicious Chicken liver parfait for starters and slow braised belly pork for main absolutely scrumptious Unfortunately didnt have room for a desert but a pleasure to dine at the Mulberry Tree and cant wait to return
Nice food, enjoyed the trout with curried mussels
Excellent food, excellent location, excellent service (even on a bank holiday weekend)
My wife and I had an evening meal here tonight. We highly recommend service, food and staff everything was perfect. Thank you
Food was excellent and the staff and table service was friendly and helpful. This is a restaurant and not a bar. We arrived 20 minutes early expecting to sit at the bar and have a drink before our table was ready and were told that we could only wait outside on the street. There were a couple of tables outside but it was windy and cold. We went for a walk instead.
Went for a business meeting late afternoon great place to meet as has Car Park. Coffee lovely too!
Hotel bar and restaurant open to none hotel guests. Lovely staff
Nice place, good drinks list.
Muscles were gorgeous
Warning - do not eat here if you are coeliac. GF labelling and procedures are not secure. A meal here made me very ill.
Beautifully prepared food, amazing cocktails and excellent staff. I recommend.
Slightly rustic afternoon tea, but flavours were good with a high calibre scone.
Amazing food and excellent staff
Great hotel great food. Good place to go just for coffee too!
Fantastic food and service would highly recommend
Lovely food everything was cooked perfectly. Presentation off the food was very Appealing and it tasted just how it looked delicious. The staff were all very nice. The food arrived quite quickly. Priceing is fair for what we had I believe it was a good price.
Lovely Sunday lunch - generous portion and really tasty. Great service in a relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit
Parking: Free parking if registering car on arrivsl
Excellent experience, good food, good service.
Cool
Staying in Great Malvern for two nights and had our evening meal on both nights at the Mulberry Tree. Outstanding on both occasions. Great food, friendly service and a relaxing and pleasant environment. Definitely recommend eating here. You wont be disappointed.
Its a very welcoming place and I love it here. Drinks and food are made to perfection and they come out very quickly.
We were so impressed we ate here for the 2 nights that we were in Malvern. The chef understands about taste and doesnt disguise flavours with over seasoning. Great service, food and wine.
Once again brilliant service
Just popped in for a lunchtime sandwich and beer, nice surroundings, very pleasant staff
This was my first brunch experience in the UK and I enjoyed it. I had the beef roast with Yorkshire pudding and seasonal vegetables. The roast was well done and the gravy was delicious. Great service. However booking is recommended. Altogether it was a good experience. Would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Malvern Hills.
Reliably good place to eat and drink, always a cut above the rest. Excellent service.
Lovely quiet, relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed afternoon tea here. Very attentive. Lovely variety and the scones were beautiful.
A great, tasty meal with attentive service.
Excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay xx
Really good meal, all three courses really interesting (I haven t had them before) and enjoyable. Pleased to have this nearby.
Great place for a Christmas Dinner
This is a little gem, tucked away in Malvern. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was lovely, well presented and tasty. The restaurant is well presented and very cosy giving rise to a lovely atmosphere to enjoy the food and drink. Parking: Car park located at the hotel which this restaurant is part of, the Mount Pleasant Hotel.
Lovely staff, very considerate and festive sparkles despite the CV-19 Epidemic!
So nice to feel safe. Our new favourite place
Good food, nice service and good value
An ok but not great experience. Menu looked good with veggie options. Service was mixed. Welcomed at the door by mature d but he seemed to be in a great hurry or think we were in a race and spoke greetings and directions at 100mph. First waiter attended promptly and tried to be helpful. Were waited by 2/3 different guys some who knew the job better than others. One corrected an error by another on the drinks front quietly but pointedly. It was the first day open in months (17 May 2021) a valid explanation?! I tried the pork dish, a plate of different cuts. The belly was undercooked and a disappointment. The desserts were very tasty; sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake.
Excellent service and food. Their COVID measures were first class.
Just had a meal here. The food was good but the service was poor. Two ladies did not get attention from the staff. You need to have a man at your table to have even adequate service. Go to Pepis. They were marvellous as was the food.
Service very pleasant. Food lovely. Different to many restaurants re decor, lay out, atmosphere. Refreshingl experience
Loved it .
Fantastic .... the meal was the absolute best I have enjoyed for a long time .... Great menu food was amazing and also all staff were friendly snd attentive ... thank you
I ve been here quite a few times just for a pint. I ve always found the staff friendly, and a good selection of ales in nice condition. The hotel is nicely done out and always very clean. Give it a whirl..
Great service by a young man on his first day and possibly the best bacon sandwich in town - lovely and crispy and bread so fresh.
Prime location in the centre of Malvern. Very friendly and attentive staff members. Appealing menu. Good value for money. Food tasty although the presentation lacks a bit of finesse in relation to price. Nevertheless worth visiting.
I didnt stay at the hotel, I was just here for the restaurant. It was not disappointing, the food was brilliant and service on point too. All the food is locally sourced too, which is a big bonus these days. Id definitely visit again.
It was the second time at the Mulberry Tree, the food was better then the first time we have been there. The impressive part was they manage to serve a fully booked restaurant(dinner time) just with a bartender and a waiter without a fault. Well done guys 10/10.
Amazing cream tea!
Expensive bit great service.
Just ate at the restaurant. The food was brilliant and the service was excellent. I had the bread and olives to start and the steak with red wine jus as a main. The bread was delicious, lovely and warm and I really appreciated the fact the olive oil and balsamic vinegar were in separate pots. I would have preferred my steak a little bloodier having ordered a rare, but it was delicious none the less.
Loving the cocktails!!! Super friendly service
Lovely coffee and good customer service!!
Had a nice drink there.
Just dropped in before going to the theatre. Great welcome from manager, Ben. Superb menu with many enticing options. Expertly cooked and presented. All staff were very friendly and attentive. Totally recommended.
Nice food, nice place and a great view over GT Malvern
Good food, great service
A great place for a spot of lunch. I would highly recommend the Mulberry Club Sandwich.
Friendly, clean and good food at reasonable prices.
Excellent service. Relaxed ambiance. Helpful staff. Good quality food, but steak not perfect.
We had a lovely dinner here tonight. Lovely food and even better service! Would definitely recommend
Had dinner at Mulberry Tree with 3 other family members. Very welcoming and atmospheric dinning and bar area. Central location. Very good standard across the board. Good choice on menu and value at a high quality offering. Customer car park is available. Felt comfortable throughout the night. Good separation of tables, staff wear masks. Really enjoyed the evening. We will be back.
A very nice meal by the open fire. Very professional staff and efficient service. If you re a big eater you had better order a starter as well.
Stopped for lunch and a chilled bottle of blush which was very enjoyable, good service, staff were very attentive. Parking is round the back of the hotel with a sign saying The Pleasant Hotel. Dont forget to register your car on the screen inside the restaurant.
Excellent welcome.. excellent staff, craig was very friendly with me.. I ordered soup of the day.. it came with bread and butter.. for 6.50.. i would say this is a perfect date night place
Friendly staff
Really lovely brunch New Years day. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Thank you.
Used for breakfast whilst staying at the Mount Pleasant Hotel, the full English breakfast was filling and tasty, with decent service. Plenty of toast, cereals, fruit and croissants to help yourself to and a good, freshly made pot of tea. An open fire made it feel warm and cosy.
Choice of turkey, beef and pork. And a big selection of vegetables, all very well cooked. All delicious. I dont give 5 stars as i couldnt it my beef as it was full of tendons and nerves or whatever it was. The place is very comfortable and staff very friendly
Lovely food , friendly, helpful staff
Great
Had the Lamb which was presented beautifully and tasted great. For pudding had the Rasberry and Almond tart yummy. We had a lovely evening all round. Food amazing and Oleg was pleasant and professional, couldnt have been more helpful. Highly recommend eating at The Mulberry Tree.
Very attentive staff in difficult times
Service was friendly, good social distancing and hygiene measures in place but food was very disappointing and rather bland and tasteless
Lovely food. Reasonably priced.
Great spot for a post hike cream tea!! Nice views, chilled atmosphere and tasty scones.
Afternoon tea was just perfect.
We had a lovely evening at the The Mulberry Tree. All staff were extremely friendly and I felt very relaxed from the moment I walked inside. My husband and I both had the steak and it was the best one I have ever had. Compliments to the chef. Well done to all the staff who work at the restaurant and thank you for looking after us during our visit.
Poor food
Excellent food and service.
Satisfactory; no more, no less.
Excellent meal!! Scallops perfect. Moules frites, best in UK. Sticky toffee pudding, rich and dangerous. Smiley and efficient staff. Lovely evening.
Visited here today and the service was outstanding, must give a special mention to Ben, his manner and service skills are exemplary, he should be working at Claridges! Thank you :-) I have no idea who Jordan Headley is?? I am contacting google to see whars happened?? Sue & John Warburton
Great service and the food was amazing nice friendly staff very well run
Nice menu, great service and a small but perfectly formed cocktail selection.
Great food and service
Food and service was exceptional, the dining rooms and ladies loo lacked heating. My only complaint! Will definitely eat here again.
Lovely meal
My partner and I just visited the mulberry tree and it was great. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. The staff were prompt and polite. The food was amazingly cooked, full of flavour and using locally sourced meats and vegetables, plus the red wine jus was incredible. I would highly recommend. We would definitely visit here again. We booked online in less than 5 mins. A Great customer experience. Our waitresses were both lovely. Thank you.
My Partner and I were recently on holiday in the area and we were unable to find somewhere to eat due to everywhere being pre-booked as it being theatre night, we came across the Mulberry Tree and we are so glad that we did. We were greeted at the door by a very pleasant young lady who immediately showed us to a table, provided us with the Menu and took our order for drinks, my Partner chose the Trout, whilst I chose the chicken, both of our meals were delicious, in particular was the Trout which my Partner thoroughly enjoyed for the taste and presentation, and equally so for myself. I had the Mulberry Pie afterwards which was scrumptious!! We dined here on Tuesday 27th August and we were very impressed by the Service, ambience and the stylish Decor so much so, that we booked for breakfast on Friday 6th September before our return journey home, in which we were very well looked after by Deepak. The Mulberry Tree is the kind of venue that if it being in our area, we would frequent So well done to the Chef, the young lady, and her colleague on that night and also Deepak suffice to say that if we ever we are in the area again we shall make a return visit.
