Hills, Marlbank Rd, Malvern WR13 6NA, United Kingdom
North Indian food, cooked authentically by Pandeli. My fathers career started in Delhis first ever Indian restaurant, Connought Place Kwality est1940. Hes time on the circuit, also included Claridges Old Delhi, Taj Mahal Hotel Bombay, Vikram Hotel and Head Chef of Air India's Flight Kitchen. Today, we're a family run kitchen. Over two generations, tradition is very important to us. We make every thing from scratch, on site in small batch. How they should be done. Family guarded recipes, circa 1885. SHAK* is a pop up kitchen at the Marlbank Inn, Malvern Hills. We're sitauted in the are of Welland, close to Three Counties Ground, minutes from Upton, Greater Malvern and short hop from British Camp. We're on every Thu, Fri & Sat!
This is still a really good restaurant for Indian food and the menu is good but, it is not as good in my opinion as a year or two ago. Little things are letting it down. The food was hot but served in unsheathed bowls and plates so it went cold very quickly. The wild Pondicherry Prawn dish had plenty of prawns but the tomatoes that normally form a significant part of this dish were missing (well in fairness the were two small pieces of tomato) I would still select this over most Indian style restaurants but I would hope that at some point the Marlbank will return to its own very high standards.
Unhelpful when we tried to order food here so we went elsewhere.
Food is amazing!! Lovely atmosphere. Xxx
Amazing Indian food!! This place easily rivals the very best I’ve had in brick lane or Leicester
Decided to change from Australia food to indian food and drink. Plenty of food to choose from and great prices for a Indian restaurant in England
