Brilliant food. A little gem, tucked away but well worth seeking out.

Great tasty food and attentive service. The restaurant is over 2 floors (loos upstairs) and is very cosy. We visited on a Monday, so was a bit quiet.

Service was quick and young staff were friendly. I had Pollo Ai Ferri my husband had Linguine Gamberone, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his, but a bit messy head and tail on prawns. The dark headed young girl did give my husband a wet wipe. My chicken was very dry tasteless overall appearance not impressed. We both had a dessert also had 1 bottle of white wine. I mentioned my dry chicken to the young blonde girl, I thought she would have relayed this to the woman in charge but no. No offer of a discount or maybe free dessert. Thats why I give it 3* Also we noticed that the woman in charge was constantly giving the girls a pep talking too, surely that could wait until restaurant closed, could see it unsettled the girls and got them flustered. Thats the reason for 3* for atmosphere. Im going to say I would not recommend regarding my experience.

Visited whilst staying in the local area for the weekend. The staff were friendly and attentive, decor in the restaurant lovely and modern. We have eaten at many Italian restaurants and this can only be described as average.

Thank you to the young staff and the owner. A delightful young lad of 17yrs old who is the front of house. Its not just about the food but the excellent good service that makes the difference. Full credit to the young staff looking after the customers. Thank you to the chefs that put together a wonderful meal.

Im Italian, so Im particularly sorry to give this review but they need to improve on the food side. I ordered some cozze alla Tarantina = mussels. They were overcooked to the point that the mussels was chewy and flavourless. The parmigiana and pasta alle verdure were okay, as in decent but nothing to write home about. The pollo alla valdostana was a pice of harboiled, rubbery, flavourless breast chicken. Such a shame. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Reply to the owner: I didn t eat all the mussels, I left some behind. However my mum taught me to clear the plate, so unless inedible, I will always force myself to try to finish. My husband is like me. The issue is that when waiters ask if everything is okay, not everyone feels comfortable in making a point by point report, and if you do you then get seen like one of those trying to get a free meal. Which we certainly are not. Instead of taking offence, I suggest you use feedbacks to improve your standards. I could have given a 1 star review if I was one of those people, but Im not and I was fair and honest.

very rare i give 5 stars in this country unless its in a stupidly priced restaurant. reasonably priced at Pepes for excellent food. lovely relaxing mood. i would only take older children here really. its quite an intimate space so little ones could easily destroy the experience for everyone else. Staff are nice and leave you alone unless you need them. Also nice to see chef working in the kitchen. We went for late lunch at 2pm. by 3pm other diners had left. Then chef and his staff sat down and had lunch together nearby which we loved. very chilled. it was snowing outside but if you closed your eyes and took a munch on the bruschetta you could almost hear the Med. The prawns were excellent. Thanks guys. you werent recommended to me. i just googled best restaurants near me. and it was my wifes birthday so it was risky haha. perfect.

Brilliant

The food was authentic and delicious. Service was excellent and nothing appeared too much trouble. I asked for a tomato and red onion salad, which was not on the menu, I was told it wouldn t be a problem. When it was served it was delicious and dressed in a balsamic dressing! Delicious accompaniment to our food.

A great choice for a family meal! We took my 9 month old and 5 year old who were both welcomed in. We had an early dinner at 5, excellent service. All food is made to order so could be tailored to the needs of a fussy eater easily. Will choose every time over a chain Italian in town! Excellent service and excellent value. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. No complaints at all. I would definitely return here next time were in Malvern.

Excellent food, excellent service. They are very willing to accommodate any dish to suit dietary needs or simply to personal taste. But be careful about revising the contents of any specific dish. I saw the couple next to us requesting numerous changes to the sauce that came with their dish until they had got agreement to omit nearly everything. Then they didnt like it! Its probably best to go with the chefs experience, I think because the dishes are carefully designed and prepared. Really well done. Also, the serving staff are very attentive and quick. Downstairs seemed rather empty when we went, and we were guided upstairs to our table where the atmosphere was very nice. This is also where the kitchen is, so it makes sense to be upstairs for the best experience.

Nice decor... First visit for us and had booked but didnt realise there was an upstairs so ended up in a table near door on a very cold night. It appears you have to specify when booking if you want to sit upstairs. We were not offered horderves and all other tables were. Menu offered very basic not one on website. Staff polite and friendly and food we had was hot and dessert good. Vegetarian options: Basic selection on menu given on night

A small independent restaurant, the food was delicious, and I also recommend the house red wine.

Staying for the weekend in Malvern, for wedding anniversary. Got married in Malvern, so know the area, but not the local restaurant scene. Looking for something special and was not disappointed. Food fantastic, service also great, attentive but not overbearing. We took our kids, 7 and 5, accommodated them well, without having to resort to the chicken nuggets kids menu. They also enjoyed their meal. Would definitely be back when Kid-friendliness: As noted in general review, accommodated our kids, 5 and 7 really well. No kids menu (thank goodness), but they did half sized portions and took the mushrooms out for on our children. Both our kids loved it. Maitresse d, was really great with them; made them feel special, again no resorting to wax crayons and activity sheets as experienced in the chain. If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion but still include the kids, could not recommend it highly enough.

The staff is absolutely brilliant- I forgot my wallet and they were fantastic at taking care of it and handled the situation with compassion and kindness. Best wishes and gratitude!

Incredibly rude staff and poor service. A pregnant member of our party ordered a mocktail, explicitly making sure that it was a mocktail. After being served alcohol and only realising when seeing the charge for the alcoholic version on the bill, she questioned this with the manager, who was incredibly rude and aggressive refusing to take any amount off her bill, slapping the bill on the table in front of her saying this is the bill, you will pay it and refusing to acknowledge our server s confirmation that she did in fact order a mocktail. Ruined our night, could have harmed her pregnancy.

Enjoyed a 3 course birthday meal here. Every course was delicious, the service fabulous and they made it extra special for the birthday girl. It was also reasonably priced and the restaurant is beautiful. Highly recommended.

Food, excellent. Service, excellent. Nice hot food, yes. Long wait time, no. There were 7 adults and a toddler in our party and every one of us enjoyed our order and no mistakes were made, they even kindly accomodated custom drinks orders. The classy, intimate decor was modern and impeccably clean. (Side note: the most stylish loos Ive ever seen in an independent restaurant! There should be awards!!) We were especially touched by how kind and friendly all the staff were, we were a tricky group with one toddler and one person with reduced mobility but they couldnt have made us more welcome. It was a pleasure to come and I hope to come back. :)

A stylish, little Italian restaurant with a lovely family feel to it. Paid my compliments directly to Peppe himself after he was finished cooking. Always nice to be able to chat with the chef who clearly takes great pride in his food.

This excellent restaurant cannot be booked directly online, but a patient wait for email confirmation will be well rewarded, with great food and drink at reasonable prices. Courteous staff and relaxing, tasteful decor.

Excellent food and very reasonably priced. Beautiful dining room and a party of 17 served very swiftly. The serving staff were all very young but excellent at their job, efficient and polite.

The place is beautiful and the interior has been done perfectly, love the upstairs and downstairs look. Unfortunately the place is ran by children, gossiping, running around and up and down the stairs, one time spilling half a glass of wine which he still served to a table. Slow service they can t judge when to come over, they are polite but aren t professional at all. For a beautiful place like this staff is very important and having all young staff is not a way to go. On to the food now, I was so looking forward to this place, but was left down and left hungry. I ordered a steak, no taste and was just fat, only got a little bit of meat. The menu states to have been cooked and infusing with ingredients and flavours but taste like a slab of meat. So sad about my visit, sadly won t be visiting again, leaving upset and very very very hungry!

Tucked away down a little alleyway behind Cafe Nero is a little gem of an Italian restaurant called Peppes. A family run buisness full of Italian passion. We loved the food here, freshly made pasta dishes that tickle your taste buds. If you are visiting Great Malvern then you should try Peppes. You will not be disappointed. If you live in Great Malvern you need to make Peppes a regular dinner date. Somebody needs to award this place a gold star.

Great little Italian restaurant. Warm, friendly and attentive, with a great selection of freshly made pastas- delicious. They are also very accommodating to allergies and dietary needs. A lovely family meal.

Excellent customer service from all the staff. Really appreciated the chef individualising our daughters meal with the exact type of pasta she wanted. The food was really delicious. I would absolutely eat here again! (Also think we saw Phaldut Sharma dining in too!)

Fabulous Italian restaurant hidden away in Great Malvern. Excellent food and very willing and able to cater for vegans. Love it. The waiting staff are terrific. Very chatty, very friendly and the Chef, Peppe is extremely versatile and happy to tweak dishes to suite peoples taste. Today he did an off piste vegan dish especially for me. What a treat. Vegetarian options: Will tweak dishes to suite dietary preference/need Dietary restrictions: Ditto above.

Exceptional cuisine. Not your bog-standard Italian, much better than that. The finest Italian restaurant I have eaten at. The flavours of the food are indescribable and the presentation excellent. Try this restaurant, you will be so pleased that you did.

We were here for lunch on a Saturday. We were greeted by the very friendly staff. Very polite and prompt. Menu looked very good. We had a seafood sharing board for starters which was a very generous helping for two. The antipasto was very good as well. Food were onderfully flavoured and cooked, and presented. Price is fantastic for the quality of food as well! Just a note for families with babies --- they have downstairs seating but they dont have a baby changing table. :)

We didnt book but were made welcome and served promptly. Just a main course each for lunch with a drink. Food was excellent.

We had an excellent meal here yesterday. Food was superb. The mushroom starter and bruschetta particularly good. My wife is a coeliac and although they said on the phone they would help with choices on the menu this didn t happen. In fact she was nearly given the wrong dish which would have been catastrophic for my wife. Service overall was just ok. The young staff tried their best but I think they really need some help from some more experienced members of staff. Overall I d still go back. It s a massive step up from Ask and Prezzo up the road.

Complimentary appertifs and authentic Italian cuisine is just the shallow end of this beautiful dining experience. The service is exemplary - all out for the customer and nothing but everything is all out for your visit

Wow.....what truly authentic Italian restaurant. Everything about our meal was perfect. The decor was contemporary and tasteful. The waiter was sociable and informative. The house wine was an excellent choice. The food...fresh, flavorsome and beautifully presented. Finally the staff. Each member was great, nothing was too much trouble. We have to say a huge thank you for making a dessert for us that wasnt on the the menu.....it was delicious.

Great ambience, good food and service. One of our party was vegan and the server was great at suggesting starter, main course and desert compatible with his diet. Other members of our group had excellent Italian dishes which were well prepared and fairly priced. There was a good range of classic Italian paste dishes as well as interesting specials. The restaurant was well located near the centre of beautiful Malvern.

Genuine Italian restaurant, not part of a chain. Good menu at reasonable prices. Enjoyed it clearly as we went twice while visiting Malvern.

Really REALLY nice looking, super comfortable, excellent service, gorgeous food. Accomodating your dietary needs as well. Im considering a group dinner there for my 40th.

Lovely Italian food and excellent service

Very class waiter, cracking lad, top geezer , shame the food was quite cold but saying that I did order icecream!, would come again if service is from that lad again!

First impressions were excellent. Lovely interior and comprehensive menu. Great initial service from the owner. But thats where the positivity ended. We waited 1 hour 15 minutes for our main! Thank goodness we didnt have a starter! The quality of the food was not authentic Italian. Shop bought pasta and just very disappointing overall. Had we not have been rushing to try and get to the theatre on time, we would have told the owner in person. We made it to the theatre with 5 mins to spare! A very disappointing experience.... Such a shame.

The service was exceptional. Food was cooked the way you would expect it to be. As a bonus, the owner bursts into song occasionally which enhances the atmosphere.

This is our favourite place to eat out in Malvern! The food is always delicious, the service is top notch. We love the open kitchen & hearing the chefs singing it make us feel like were really in italy! Thanks Pepe & Becky!
