I just had the worst encounter with the the girl at the till didnt get her name because she was so rude I just walked out.. yeah yeah now you know I wont be coming back..

I had to change my 5-star review to a 1-star because this place has gone way downhill. The last time I was here, they were serving up some of the best chicken strips I ve ever had. But today? What a joke. I spent almost $30 for a 5-strip combo and a couple of pies. The strips, if you can even call them that, were bone-dry and so tiny they might as well be called nuggets. On top of that, there were maybe six taters in the box. I m still a little hangry after eating that sad excuse for a meal. Mary Brown s Maple Ridge, you really need to get it together. What I was just served was an embarrassment, and it s a huge letdown compared to what you used to deliver. Definitely not impressed.

Went in for take out. Forgot half my order, so I went back to get the rest. Then drove home and realized that non of my sauces are in the bag. Maybe the guy taking orders at the front shouldn t be wearing headphones while working and should pay attention. This is the 2nd time it s happened with same guy.

My friend and I thought we would try the $4.99 Monday Marys chicken burger. First of all the tables were filthy, we had to ask someone to clean a table so we could sit down. The chicken burgers were horrible, soggy bun, hard chicken, my friend could not finish hers. The fries were good but this is Mary Browns CHICKEN!

I ordered a 3 piece meal got no spoon to eat my cold claw no napkins no ketchup

New wings just added to the menu, got give a try. Turned out it was good. Highly recommended.

Delicious food

Hands down, some of the best food I ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The tenders was especially memorable. Must try! Soni is very kind, absolute gentleman and really kind, gave me the best customer service, highly recommended coming here!

Ordered the chicken sandwich. It was really dried out and had a tough layer that I had to rip through on the first bite. Quite gross. Took it back and was told it was normal??? but they did make another one. The second one.... same experience, dried out and tasted like old fryer oil. Not sure why this location seems to be particularly bad. Im totally over Mary Browns now.

We ordered delivery for family event..chicken very fresh juicy but nit greasy and skin crispy..we were very happy. The coleslaw was much better then KFC. I would pass on the spicy macaroni salad.

I just had a really good experience at the Mary Browns at Valley Fair mall. I ordered some chicken Poppins like I normally do and when the gentleman brought it out to me he apologized and said that he would be bringing me a remake of the order because it didnt meet their standards. The issue was a lot of what was in the order was just batter without chicken. I feel like a lot of other places would have just served that to me and made it my problem not theirs. I really appreciate the extra effort that they went to to make sure that I had a good meal at their establishment.

I picked up the Buffalo Chicken sandwich with tenders, gravy and a biscuit. I had a 5 min drive home and when I opened the sandwich I couldn t believe how soggy & flat the bun was dripping in sauces, can t understand why they don t take some pride in the products they are providing for good money. Not only was the whole meal not exactly hot but this is now back to back times I ve been disappointed with the Maple Ridge branch and I will never give them a chance again to mess up a dinner for me ever again as I m done with Mary Browns.

Fast service, consistent quality

Paid for and picked up an order of 4 pcs and found out when I got home there were only 3 pcs! Now I have to spend my time and gas to get the missing piece! Or I get a free piece the next time I order! Free?! I already paid for it! Is my time and money not worth anything? aaarrggghh! Follow up: Mary Browns posted a response to my review asking for details to follow up. I sent them details but never heard back from them. So if you read their response to a negative revue where it sounds like they will address or at least respond, know that at least in my case they did not.

Update tried to come back here and give it a second chance however was that such a terrible idea the lady was very rude who served us at the front while I was trying to get my kids order they sat down and she asked us for a receipt we had explained we were waiting to find out what the kids wanted to eat and she was extremely rude about it I had asked for a Pepsi Zero as thats what it showed in the combo I had ordered however they explained they dont carry Pepsi Zero isnt that false advertisement pretty sure it is then there were three people in the back the one lady to the Cook started scratching his head itching it while he was making our order how are we supposed to know if he has lice or dandruff or something that was absolutely disgusting when I had said something that that is not food safe she gave me a dirty look and walked away then the other lady in the back just sat there staring at me for the last 15 minutes and made it so uncomfortable this will 100% be the last time we ever set foot in here I highly suggest these people retaking their food safe course because its currently very disturbing We ordered 3 Nashville sandwich combos 2 large chicken poppin combos 2 kids meal poppins The lady bagged everything in the same bag with the Nashville chicken sandwiches at the bottom They were completely squished and literally thrown together the taters were soggy When we opened our Nashville sandwiches all 3 of them were completely Soggy to the point where they physically fell apart the buns The chicken itself was missing most of its batter and super soggy When I called to ask to speak to a manager the woman said there was no manager around 430 pm I said is there a way that I can come back and bring you these 3 sandwiches and get 3 new ones made the woman then replied to me no she cannot authorize that I said well then can I come and get a refund and ren you the food back she also said no she wasnt allowed to do that Spending $92 You would think that they would care a little bit more Noone has gotten back to me still

Terrible food and extremely overpriced. Chicken is so greasy that it sprays as you eat it. Washrooms were disgusting and the staff was hanging out with their friends at a nearby table being loud and obnoxious.

You really have to try hard to get a bad review out of me but this is one of them. First time trying it and came in for the $4.99 Big Mary sandwich. They had not one of them. I didn t really care as I m tired, but two other customers were upset about it. So I tried the Mini Mary s instead. They were not bad tasting at all, but a sloppy mess thrown inside of a bag. The brown gravy and the potato wedges were good and nothing to complain about. The worst: I got the tater and twist combo two pc. One bite into the chicken and immediately had slime all over my mouth and the smell of fish. It was so bizarre to experience and that is why it went straight to the trash and I do not want any compensation, refund, or apology from Mary Browns. I just can t ever imagine someone letting that leave the line. Then there was the simple .99¢ biscuit. All around the edges was normal but one bite in the center and it was like biting a rock. I guess it s hardened flour but either way I might bring that back to them so they don t think I m crazy for writing this review. The chicken stays in the trash. Absolutely disgusting. *The cashier was friendly to chat with and there were a couple things that were not bad. But I definitely do not recommend eating here. Popeyes, KFC, and Brownies all are light years better. Sorry for the bad review but people gotta know.

Just another Canadian failure storey Just tried for the first and will be the last time ever... So first of all NO free drink just offered a soda cans that was hot NO WATER you have to buy to drink with your meal NO ice AND NO STRAW NO CUP !!! Chicken is below average just like the once you buy at save on foods with some seasoning salt that is it. NOT crispy at all.. Colslw taste better Wages was ok but like any wages you buy any were No bisket Price is way too much for they offer Nothing compares to Church chicken or even Popeyes NEVER AGAIN.

I come to Mary browns 1-2 times a week with my friend during lunch because we go to Thomas Haney. I get the same thing every time, a buffalo chicken wrap and every single time it s been so good until today. I got to Mary browns and it was busier than usual then I ordered my food waited 20 minutes for it (which is fine I m not worried about that)but when I got my wrap, the package felt cold right away - a little weird considering it s normally hot to the point I have to let it cool down before I eat, then I opened it and the wrap is doused in the sauce, the sauce is all over the tortilla AND the wrapper. I take a bite and it s very cold. Sauce absolutely everywhere and the tortilla is soggy and cold when I brought it to the person at cash she said it s supposed to be like that even tho I know very well it s not because I come often and never eaten something so atrocious there. She also said she would make me a new one but it would take ANOTHER 20 minutes and I couldn t wait that long considering I had to catch a bus back to school. Not happy with the service whatsoever. I ate it because I spent $15 on it but I m pretty annoyed and won t be coming back.

I always eat here but it was a little busy today and I waited 20 minutes for food (which I m not complaining about) I just expected if it took a little longer it would be good quality I got it and usually the bun is warm and the burger is warm but this time the entire top bun was wet so I just took of the top bun and ate it like that because I was in a rush but I expect better quality I won t be coming back

We didnt even eat. We waited at the till for service and we ended up walking out. There was only 1 other couple waiting for their food and 2 people in the back cooking. Tried to take out.

Wow...unbelievable. $25 for grilled chicken sandwich, poutine, small coleslaw and a sidekick. Chicken extremely dry, veggies old and soggy, poutine lacked any gravy & too much cheese...just disappointing. I strongly recommended Popeyes instead.

I got a chicken sandwich meal the only gross thing was the pickle on top of the bun. Pickles dont belong in chicken sandwiches I dont understand it made the top of the bun soggy. But overall the taters were really good and the sandwich minus the pickle was delicious. Would go back for the sandwich. Chicken was greasy and lacked flavour. Fries had flavour but were soggy. Too expensive. Try popeyes, much better food. Service however was very good.

I like this place! The only thing I have tasted was chicken strips, fries, taters, and a biscuit so I don t have much to say about food. The service is always quite polite and I like the variety of drinks!

Hearing all the raves about Mary browns hubby and I decided to check it out. Went to maple ridge location. First impression, very clean and was busy. Recieved our order very quickly, service good...LOTS of staff...like 10 plus! Menu small. We ordered the 4 piece meal. Comes with 4 pieces Chicken, side salad and small fries and a drink....$16. Got home to eat. Chicken pieces very small one was basically all bone no meat. Coleslaw was mushy , gross, Fries decent. Gravy good. Would I eat there again...NO ! Expensive for what you get, which isnt much. Would I recommend Mary Browns?? NO. Brownies Chicken only place to go for quality always delicious.

We ordered the 9-piece combo take out this afternoon. Everything was not hot at all (barely warm) when we got home even though our house was only 5min away from the place. The chicken was not juicy at all. The spicy ones didn t have much tatse, and the spicy powder was not spread evenly. The fries were soft and didn t taste fresh. The service was fast and that was it. Back to Brownies I guess.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE. If I could give it less than one star I would... I got the three tiniest pieces of what I assume is chicken as a 3 piece combo. How they expect this to feed anyone is beyond me. Not to mention the fries are soggy and not really hot even though I live 8 minutes away from the restaurant. My fiancée opens up her poutine to what is essentially gravy with a small bit of fries and cheese curds mixed in... Not to mention the wrap she got had tiny bits of chicken swimming in sauce, which just wasnt edible. All of this not to mention when they originally gave me food they gave me someone elses order which I hope they threw out after I touched it and went through it. If the service was better I would understand, but this was absolutely garbage. I will add they were busy, but for 6pm on a Tuesday afternoon you should have the staff to support a dinner rush. First and last time I will be visiting this occasion for at least a very long time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE.

Went to the Maple Ridge location since it just opened up. Had basically like 6-7 staff. Went up to the counter to try and order. There was no greeting or anything. The best part was that in trying to order the chicken, was told they don t have anymore chicken. And it was only 6pm. They only had burgers and fries left. No apologies at all. The staff could at least put a sign or inform customers of such. I ve emailed the head office experience department for this first impression. Utterly disappointing. Franchisee should be doing a serious customer service training for front line staff. Coming from a hospitality background, this place is seriously lacking in it.

i will not recommend this place to anyone no. me and my husband were very excited to for new branch and we went there yesterday,,, we ordered spicy chicken pieces,,, they were expensive and the quality was too low and barely chicken pieces mostly pieces were just robs n bones covered with crisp,,, really disappointed we paid too much money for this,,, poor quality n very expensive,,, altleat serve what we pay for .

The buffalo chicken burger is soooo good. Ive gone twice and it was perfect each time. Popcorn chicken is really good and Ive tried 4 of their 6 sauces and all good.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Orders always come up quickly even when theyre busy. Portions are generous. Dining area always looks very clean. So glad to have MBs in our neighbourhood!

What a circus. No staff member had a clue what was going on. Had to wait a large amount of time to get a simple meal for one. Extremely tiny sides, probably wont return.

We ordered dinner through skip the dishes and when it arrived we were not given the dipping sauces ordered or the second strawberry pie we paid for. When I called to advise of the mistake, they admitted it was their mistake snd all they offered was for us to drive there to pick up another pie. I had already paid for the pie and for the delivery. Terrible customer service. I will not be ordering from here again if this is how they deal with their mistakes.

Great food, I ordered the 3 piece and a small taters poutine. The chicken i got was very juicy, a bit soggy however the chicken was very big, guess i was the lucky. The best gravy is at mary browns but I got alot of gravy for a small poutine haha. Cheese curds were really good and all the food i ordered filled me up. Definently coming here next time

Went there and ordered their Poutine, the staff member Zoe that served me was exceptionally polite and friendly. The food was hot and fresh and killed mc Donald s poutine ! For only being open for about a month I would say they are on the right track!

Chicken pretty good but staff are undertrained and make too many mistakes. Bought the 13 piece feast special. Side I chose was summer corn salad. Also ordered the loaded poutine. Ordered through the app. App told me my order was ready by 550PM but it actually wasn t ready till 6. When I got home. The side was not summer corn salad, but macaroni salad. Pies were supposed to be strawberry bug we received apple. Did not receive the free swag offer. These are small things and small mistakes but the big mistake was I did not receive the poutine at all. So my 2 item dinner had a total of 7 mistakes. No poutine, 4 apple pies, salad, swag. Not impressed and the chicken wasn t as good as other places so I likely will just stick with Brownies or Popeyes.

First time trying Mary Browns chicken as Ive been seeing this restaurant everywhere lately. I went to this location, the staff is friendly, got the Big Mary Monday; the burger itself was tasty.

I ordered online for certain time.I went to the store on my pitch up time .The front person told me it will be ready in 15 minutes. I went to london drug.I came back after 20 minutes. I asked about my order.They were all confused .They didnt know which one was my order.They asked me to wait more.After long time,my order was ready.bad service.They didnt even offered any compensation or store credit.

Tried this place near closing time and was very pleasantly surprised with the chicken, even though it was almost closing time nobody in the restaurant this was better than the best day ever at brownies chicken or Popeyes Louisiana... The quality of the chicken was noteworthy

I ordered the new honey barbecue chicken. Was told smallest was 6 pieces. Did not want combo. I was taken by surprise when I saw the pkg. How can 6 pieces fit in that box? 4 pieces of wings and 2 pieces of chicken breast. If I wanted wings I would have ordered just wings, totally not worth the price. There is not an ounce of honey or BBQ flavour. Taste like some dried spice rubbed on and fried. By far, the worst BBQ chicken! Parking: Maple Ridge

I have to say I was so excited to have Mary Browns come to Ridge. I waited a few months before ordering to let them work out any issues. That being said, I have never been so disappointed with this franchise in all my life. I have enjoyed their delicious meals for over a decade now. I ordered a 18 piece meal and was excited to share with the company we had from out of town. Needless to say I should have went up the street to the shut down KFC and scrounged chicken off of the floor. The chicken was tasteless and skin wouldn t stick to the chicken. The taters also flavourless and hard as a rock. This was supposedly made fresh as I had to wait over 30 minutes while they made my order. The total was almost $90 which I normally don t have a problem paying. I reached out to customer service and was asked to provide a receipt, which I produced. It s been almost 2 months and have yet to hear back. I have held off writing this review to wait for their response but obviously not happening. I know that all of their orders aren t like this and I m sure their are people with positive experiences. I m just stating my personal experience for everyone s knowledge. Take the time and drive to Popeyes in Poco if you want great chicken and superb customer service

We ordered 18 peice feast and asked for 2 coleslaws. They even repeated the order saying 2 coleslaws. We get home and no coleslaw. Calling the store is of no use because the outgoing message says they are not taking calls. Must be too many complaints coming in.

The food was very fresh with high quality! The service was fantastic and staff was very nice and friendly! Definitely will come back again!

Highly recommend Mary Browns, the food quality is always excellent, the chicken is incredibly fresh and hot. Ive been to this specific location about 5 times since opening, each time I recieved great service and food. Plus the staff are friendly which is always a plus.
