Buffet is what we are known for and is the main source of our livelihood.
It’s got good food and the buffet is cheap I my opinion so good value for the food The staff is great always there when you need .
Place has not changed at all in 30 years or more. Menu or decor. Its amazing. Complete time capsule of western style chinese foods and done really well. Buffet has kept stride with inflation, glad it still exists. The menu you can order from has huge portions for reasonable money and its all really fresh since they are turning out for the buffet in small batches anyways. My go to for the chinese of my childhood.
It’s an average tasting Chinese buffet. There is lots of variety but some items have been out for a while and the food is not frequently replenished. The sweet and sour pork is good and the buffet items were hit or miss. The ice cream selection for the buffet is good as it includes 6 flavors including mint chocolate chip, maple walnut, cappuccino flake, vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate. The fruits are watermelon and oranges. They have salad and the classic mall type Chinese food items in the buffet. Nothing was outstanding but everything was okay and edible. Price is alright for what you get. It is nostalgic for the good old days when Chinese buffets were more popular.
Extremely tasty food. I am happy that my friends brought me here!!!
$20 is a reasonable price for a weekend lunch. Sichuan beef is really great and you have to try.
The staff are nice and friendly. I can't say the same for the food served unfortunately, though. The wonton soup wasn't hot (warm) enough and most of the menus weren't refilled in a timely manner. Well, the old saying is right again : "You get what you pay for".
I have tried both lunch and dinner Everything is pretty much the same. Differences listed here from what I remember: Lunch - only wonton soup, black bean green beans with beef, fried wonton skin, sesame battered chicken drums. Dinner - wonton and hot and sour soupn blean bean mussels, onion rings, battered shrimp We came on a busy day for lunch and everything was fresh except for some reason the wonton soup was so bland. When we went for dinner on a sunday night and there were only 3 other tables and the food was stagnant for a while that it developed a film on top. The wonton soup this time was good. It would be great to know before hand whether it's busy or not haha. Typical mediocre buffet food. Lunch price is pricier is $19.95 which is ok. Food is better than uncle willys.
Pretty good food. Decent prices. We went there years ago when they had a buffet and it was awesome. Hopefully they bring it back after the pandemic. I recently ordered for takeout. The food was pretty good and it was ready quickly. The service was great. Very friendly staff.
Ordered on skip... this place had 10 stars on skip and i have no clue how thats even possible, more than half went in the bin, this was my first and last order from this place
Very good food... we had the buffet...great service and friendly kitchen staff...definitely will return
I stopped in after night class for a combo for 1 with substitution.no problems Super nice reception and service was impeccable
Worst buffet in the lower mainland. If you want food poisoning its the place to eat.
The workers are amazing and friendly, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming but the food is unfortunately awful and I wouldn t buy it from a grocery store
Good food and great service
Best Chinese food in maple ridge
Food was not fresh and didnt taste great. There were dishes that were finished with just the sauce left over etc and they were not bringing anymore out. I dont think its worth the money they are charging. Staff was very friendly and helpful and they did have a good icecream selection.
Great service, food is average. Didn t like that the hot and sour soup was Luke warm. Everything else was good.
Decent food but drinks are not inclued.
I was surprised by the mixed reviews after trying this place! The quality of the food really impressed me. Much better than typical chinese buffets. Ill be coming back.
Ordered it on DoorDash the minute it opened. I was feining for some Chinese and my homies at China kitchen did not disappoint. Massive portions for the price. I ve ate here for a long time and they never disappoint. Basically got breakfast lunch and dinner for like 40 bucks. They some real ones haven t eaten better Chinese food in my life Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible as hell
Excellent fresh buffet. Lots of seafood. Very tasty.
Unfortunately I have to say one of the worst of experience I have. The food is old ! Probably 1 week old taste like wood saw ! And if the stuff is harassing you to tip them, otherwise they don t even bother to clean the table!!! Unbelievable!!I never seen anything like that!! Disgusting!! and dirty dishes!
Our first time at china kitchen to celebrate my daughters birthday with a few friends 11 people, (5 yrs, 13yrs, two 17 yrs, 18yrs, two elderly, 4 people between 38 & 65) Food was ok it was 5 pm. After eating,I went to the till to get my bill it was almost $300 for buffet only. The lady handed me the machine to pay so i pressed no tip, she said no no you have to tip 12% she was so upset. I said my tip would be in cash she insist i paid the 12% from the card so my bill was over $300. I dont mind giving tip but I am Never going back to China kitchen. Disappointed first time being forced to pay tip and 12% at that.
Excellent Always good Food
Excellent everything. They were close to closing and accommodated us we were a crowd of 7. Much appreciated. Will be back
Very disappointed , this used to be my favourite place when in maple ridge . $60 for my 14 year old son and I.. most of the containers were almost empty with just dried up left overs .. we waited for fresh food to come and had some noodles as ice cream .. they topped one of the what should of been shrimp containers with broccoli and we left .. gone way downhill ..
Good food good price always busy fresh and hot prices keep going up and up should have an early bird price Kid-friendliness: Kids love it
The worst Chinese food ever. I took my two little kids with me, and they couldnt even eat quarter of the plate. The bill came to over $60. Never ever again going back to this place.
China kitchen has some of the best chinnese food Ive ever had and Ive eaten alotta chinnese food in my days.lolo I moved to Maple ridge 4 yrs ago and I go to the buffet once if not twice a week. They have a huge selection of food items and because the food is so good and they are busy the food is always coming out fresh and hot. There is soups salads little sushi and ice cream . The owner Simon and all his staff are super friendly and go out of there way to make your dinner experience the best it can be..I could go on but if you havent tried ...I STRONGLEY SUGGEST...you give it a try.I myself have brought about 12 different people here..Every person Ive brought has really really enjoyed
We went for lunch Buffet, they havent done the food on to section, got few dishes such as fried noodle or rice there can be served, said open at 11:30,if not ready please dont let customer go inside to wait!!!! The food are very plain, not much flavour, I saw some customer used sweet and sour sauce on to dishes. Real Chinese food are not like this, may be it called Canadian Chinese food, but some around the neighborhood Canadian Chinese restaurants are still taste much better than China Kitchen! What is wrong with the Chef
I came out here on Sunday from Surrey it was definitely worth it the food was so good and the people there where really nice definitely will be back in the f7
Food was good. But they forced me to give 12% tip. I dont mind giving you tip but if i cannot afford to give you 12% you should respect that. Never coming back again.
Staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. Dont go very often, but this is our go-to Chinese buffet. The food is always fresh, and all safety protocols are met. They survived covid, and with good reason, they pride themselves on keeping a safe and clean establishment. The owner is always there to pitch in and help as well. If you are looking for a tasty Chinese buffet. This is a must on your food list. The prices are reasonable. They also have a small salad bar with sushi and fruit plus various ice creams and pies for dessert.
Very good
Fantastic as always .
Awesome food. Good prices
Not as good as in the past visits. Greasy and dried out. Staff were great.
Nice smorgasbord, good selection.
The restaurant is usually quiet around 2pm. The staff was lovely and sweet, and the place was very clean. While the food was okay, it wasnt bad. They made an effort to inquire about our preferences at the buffet and were accommodating. I definitely recommend it if youre looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a meal!
Great food , great service and fantastic quick delivery providing really hot food
Good wholesome cooking. A pinch of updating and TLC, I would have given the last Food : 5/5 |
We always have such a great experience here. The service is so good and all the ladies work so hard.
We went at 2pm. Half an hour before the lunch buffet ends. It looked like left over food and we did not get a discount or offered drinks, only water. So not good business management. We still paid 21.00 per person. All the food remaining was mainly vegetables. When barely any food remains then a discount would have been appropriate or offered a soda with food would have made this review much better. My son and i agreed that we will not be patronizing this restaurant again.
Ate Dinner There Tonight Been On The Toilet For Over An Hour!!!
Tasteless and bland lunch buffet . Food just a little warm . Owner wanted a tip when I went to pay for my buffet. Never going back . Not worth the money.
3.5 for food. 4 if longer hours, so more food brought out fresh more often. Not too much salt. Vegetarian options: Not huge.. but salad, veges, rice or chow mein ok and a little tofu avbailable. Parking: In front of door/ windows or near street side. Kid-friendliness: Space to sit around round table, not pretentious, bright & not fancy so not too worried about spills. Many good non spicy and fresh balanced food choices for most taste choices and with vege sushi, salad, jello, cake & ice creams. Wheelchair accessibility: One surface from car to passing fish tak to seat, .
It was awesome! Parking: Not bad. Kid-friendliness: Always !
Cold food, not filling the food fast enough, noodle was crunchy cuz it was in the tray for the long time
Glad there all u can eat is back!!! Was really good see u soon
Mediocre at best. Good wasnt fresh, service lacked. Soggy noodles, soggy sweet and sour pork. No flavor in the wontons.
The food was FAIRLY fresh. The free refill soda MAY not be for you. I chose iced tea, and was told this is not included in refill, would i like another??? No i would not. I can not afford your version of upsell. The mens bathroom is FILTHY. Garbage on the sticky floor with mouldy plumbing pipes. It gives the authentic feeling. Bring your own sanitizer! The atmosphere was good, because i was with Family, celebrating Moms birthday. Selective refill Kitchen, is a fail. No thanks.
Food was okay, if youre going for the buffet then its a descent deal!
Have been ordering here many times. Went in before Xmas to a pretty slow Friday sat in ordered. Watched everyone who ordered in and take out received a Xmas card and a thank you. Sat and watched and paid and left. Not once did they fill the empty trays. Foods been going down and the service is non apparent, maybe it s a race thing
Great all you can eat Chinese and friendly staff
Just had a wonderful tasty takeout dinner from China Kitchen. The Wor WonTon soup was super generous in the serving size. The squid was cooked to perfection. The chicken in the curried chicken dish and the chicken chow mein was tender and juicy , not dry and over-cooked. Well done China Kitchen.
If youre looking to catch covid , the flu , a cold or whatever else the world has to throw at us now then this is the place to go , the food was good at buffet, only finished one plate though before being thoroughly disgusted with the waitress pouring water and touching every cup with the edge of the jug and moving on to the next unsuspecting customers carrying more and more germs to the next person after each cup she touched with that contaminated jug. She might as well have had every person lick every single cup when they walked in. So unsanitary I walked out without finishing my meal.
Food was gross
Very good buffet options! Enjoyed the meat & vegetable selection. It was fun having a selection of icecreams to choose from for desert as well. Over all great experience. Friendly atmosphere, classic Chinese food restaurant decor. I will definitely be going again!
Our party of 4 loved the food. Service was good too. We will be coming back
Lunch buffet did not disappoint. Friendly, efficient waitress. Reasonable price. Parking: Parked very close to front door at noon.
Disgusting ayce buffet... Rude staff. I called prior to ask if unlimited pop. They said yes. Than I got a ice tea then asked for a refill and the told me they charge extra for each ice tea... Any other pop is free refill... Why wouldnt you say that prior... Then I say ok Ill get a root beer for ice creams float. They wanted to charge me for both the ice tea and root beer... I went at around 6pm. It was empty. 1 other customer. Nothing at the buffet, all sitting for what looked like hours. Asked for more of certain items and the lady told me to finish whats there first... The meat was dry and nasty. Swell as the rice. I mentioned the rice was nasty and didnt touch it. She said they over cooked it and too come earlier in the afternoon as later in day buffet less people and less food.... Then dont have a buffet open that late if the quality went down hill that bad. My buddy had 1 plate and wanted to dine and dash lmao. Luckily I have morals. Was 0/5 stars not 1 good thing there.
Food was fresh and very tasty. Price has gone up but still worth it.
Usually so so. Its all you can eat white people Chinese food. My. Issue is about two hours after eating I felt ill. I ended up paying $30 to spray my meal into the toilet and taste it twice. This is not a selling point for me. Im in serious pain as Im sitting on the toilet writing this review wondering what end its coming out next.
The food selection is not bad , the items are OK
Take your money to somewhere else and treat yourself nicer. This buffet place is really bad. We went on a Saturday afternoon around lunchtime to give it a try. Besides that there werent a lot of food options available, they do not refill the food trays after its clearly empty, and that is around lunchtime(we went around 12-1pm), so your choices are further limited. Whatever was available is either too oily or too salty, or both. Bad experience, wouldnt go back. Only positive that I would say is that their waitresses are nice and friendly and provided a welcoming atmosphere to customers. However, that doesnt make up for a bad food experience
Very good you should open onexup at tswassen mills
I get the war wonton soup here and its one of the better ones in town.
Dishes are very good. Very good costumer service, staffs are very humble. Owner should gave them a raise. Probably will go here again, as I only leave few blocks away. Vegetarian options: Lots of choices. Noodles, rice, soup, vegies, and some assorted meats like chicken etc., Parking: Lots of parking. Kid-friendliness: Food is kid friendliness and location as well. Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure about wheel chair accessibility. Haven t seen a big door. But better if owner puts a bigger door for disabled pips.
Was here for my niece birthday!! Definitely am in love with this place.I would recommend anyone who loves Chinese cuisine .
Best chinese buffet Ive been to and Ive seen a few. Great service too. Let me describe some aspects of what I mean: Onion rings are just barely crispy so the in between state thats perfect imo. Taste fresh. Sweet and sour pork is thick chunks of meat, tender to chew and drizzled in the appropriate sauce. Veggies although impossible in this sector do not taste frozen and are very recently cooked. Garlic salt squid is awesome. Watermelon slices at the fruit bar are sweet. If you are jones-ing for Chinese buffet this one fills the bill. Highly recommended.
Good Cantonese dinner buffet for the price. Edit: Dinner buffet is superior to the lunch one. Dishes are replenished faster at dinner. Avoid the noodles as those arent suited to sitting out at the buffet tray as long as the rice. Rating is for the Dinner buffet
Had relatives living in the area about 5 years ago, have had their food many times . Food was fresh and an excellent selection in the lunch buffet , first time back in the area since then, food tasted old, like it had been re-heated . Was disappointed
Food was a bit off ...not that spicy plus it was cold
Really good, my first time here ,its delicious, good variety buffet ,definitely recommend, Ill be back for sure
Price for buffet went up food taste went down would not come back from Langley for that again
Tasty food especially fried rice and fish fry both are very delicious.
Loved Going to this buffet when growing up in maple ridge I used to eat her for lunch & dinner.
Good food, service and staff .located at a convenient location of lougheed. They offer a buffet which could use more items ! The food was good ,clean and fresh and I will be coming back Parking: Shares parking with A and W
Food is so mediocre. I have been here a few times and every single time the food is not fresh (has been sitting there) and they never update their selection. Bleh
So terrible if I didnt live so far qway I would have brought it back. Dried chow mein and dry ribs that looked like they were coated in food coloring. Dont waste your money here.
Price is good but quality is a bit low. Dine in area can get better Food
Their buffet is wonderful and always fresh and hot. Service staff is very friendly.
Ordered a combo b from skip, the portion was terrible it was mostly chicken chow main and a few sweet and sour pork It tasted good but I m not I m not impressed Food
If you like All U Can Eat Chinese food its the best in the area. We recently celebrated a double family birthday and it was great. Buffet was hot and fresh. We were allowed to bring in a birthday cake and the staff was so friendly.
Place is dark and dated. Servers are nice but the food is just okay. I won t recommend it to my friends.
Had food delivered and it was nice and hot when it arrived .We ordered 7 dishes and had enough for the 4 of us the next day .The containers were packed full and each was cooked to perfection.Bonus was the fortune cookies . I would definitely recommend this restaurant for Chinese dinner.
Food was good and staff were very attentive.
Mmmm, its okay, i guess... the staff are really sweet food isnt the freshest.. but i did go a bit late.. maybe stuff was old .. im willing to give it another try, tho jsit cus of the sweet little ladys that work there dolls
Too expensive
I love this place! Great selection of buffet food at a reasonable price. Nice additional items for the dinner selection. The many ice cream flavours are a bonus.
**Update** Still this place!! Not a huge selection of food or desserts, but the quality & flavors are amazing. Still always perfection
Food is very cheap quality but very expensive. They force a 8 to 15 % tip on you, theyre food is super old and noodles and ride are very stale. Way to expensive for what your getting and for how bad the service is
Home delivery had always been hot and fresh. Delicious food but buffet is lacking.
Good food for the money
Love the wonton soup here and the buffet is absolutely delicious as well
The wonton soup was cold and had a stale taste. The rest of the buffet lacked selection and freshness. Overpriced in my opinion. Know I remember why i have not been back for two years.
I really enjoyed the dinner buffet. The food was hot and delicious. There was very good variety and even good desserts. Ill definitely be going back Parking: The restaurant is in a strip mall so theres plenty of parking available
Went for lunch and was surprised to find a great buffet! Delicious, fresh food.
Good Chinese food, huge portions! So prepare yourself with copious amounts of food. Combo deals are worth it! Hostess was really good.
The curried beef was a mess of overcooked veg and mushy inedible beef. The sauce was bland, all heat and no flavor. The sweat/sour pork was also weak, like they had watered down the sauce, and reheated the pork. Will not be going back.
Ok
I have been going to and picking up food here for 20+ years. I used to go to the other location that was in Pitt Meadows also. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience. I have never had cold food or reheated food or stale food. Always hot and freshly made. Hot even when delivered. The service has always been quick and friendly even when busy. I think just once I had to wait. I gave 4 because sometimes they dont have big bottles of Gingerale...no big deal!
I received some delicious tasting food from them last week, then woke up in the early morning with extreme stomach pain. I spent the day upchucking and barely able to keep down a glass of water.
The best place for family birthdays!
Really yummy. I would say my favorite place for Chinese food in maple ridge.
Always great food and the staff is awesome.
Great food friendly staff and affordable prices that make you feel good about eating out
Alright Chinese food
We always enjoy how attentive the servers are to us especially when we are with our friend who is in a wheelchair
Id give this place a zero if I could. Absolutely the WORST chinese food, hands down. A true disappointment. Please dont waste your money coming here. It was all bad and cost over $50!!!
Service great friendly food awesome
Good food, didnt know you could order out of the menu as an option. Over $20 per person for the buffet. Not planning on going back anytime soon.
LONG TIME LOCAL BUSINESS...FOOD IS GOOD...COVID HAS HURT THE TURN OUT BUT THEY SURVIVED
found a staple in my chow mein....
Good Chinese food
Took two bites and threw it out. The crispy ginger beef had too much batter on it, The batter was soggy, Only half the bowl had sauce on it, and it was flavourless. The chicken chow mein was also a disappointment of over cooked flavourless soggy noodles. Chop suey had over cooked beef and a flavourless sauce. Waste of money.
One of the few buffets still in existence, still selling the inexpensive (but high quality) dishes they did when I was a teenager. The vegetables are fresh and crispy and the meat is decent quality cuts. It always feels nostalgic making the trip out to Maple Ridge just to have the lunch buffet.
Our first time at China kitchen. The best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Wonton soup. The best. The food was fresh, with a large selection at the buffet table. Restaurant was clean. Staff friendly and attentive. Not only will we go there again, but we will highly recommend this restaurant. It is easy to see why they have been there 27 years.
If its even a moderately sunny day do not sit at the tables in front of those windows. Even with the screens down you will be on slow bake.
Huge portions!! no covid skimping here. we ordered delivery and the dinner for 4 fed us 4 people more than twice! glad to have value for your money. Thank You!!!
great service friendly staff
Staff was friendly, plates cleared quickly. I presume the dishes change? Nice quick meal with a fairly large variety. Nothing really spicy though despite the labels
Everything very good, good service, delicious food, snow super recommended. definitely Ill be back
Hadnt been here in so long. Went with my partner and our daughter last night. Friendly fast service. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. We enjoyed ourselves
The food was great, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Great experience such lovely service would go again. And theres A/C
Not very good much room for improvment...bland food soup was barely warm...same old menu boring. Sorry, you need to improve. I wont be back
Good service. Food on buffet was generous. Some chicken dishes were not tasting good. Overall good experience. Waitress singing was distracting.
Always find their food fresh and tasty. Made the mistake of ordering the lemon chicken this time. Not good. Very dry chicken with a bowl of watery lemon sauce. Didnt want to eat it. Small portion for what we paid.
Nice place and great attention, the waitress was so nice. And the food was better than I expected plus it was a lot, I had to get a dog box
Amazing buffet been coming for years never had any issue or bad food!
Very good buffet. Serving is excellent.
Great staff, sadly that was the highlight. Food tasted like it was re heated leftovers from the buffet the previous day. I will not go back.
Last nights dinner was terrible. Everything was overcooked. The honey garlic pork was so burnt and the sauce was a hard rock at the bottom. Everything else was either soggy or way too overcooked.
Vegetarian options: You can choose anything you want according to your diet preferences Parking: Good parking in front of restaurant Kid-friendliness: This place is definitely family oriented Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
Ordered Combo B (chicken chow mein & sweet and sour pork). Both were extremely bland. The chow mein had no sauce or seasoning, the noodles were still white. Pork was all fat and barely any sauce. The portion size was very generous, but unfortunately I did not want to eat it.
Hands down, the best take out Chinese food I ve had in years. Traditional recipes. We will be ordering in again!
So delicious
Nice to have buffet back again. Spicy salted prawns are the best!
We went here for the lunch buffet. Great food and plenty of choices. Friendly and prompt service. Will definitely be coming back and recommend them.
Food was hot and excellent. Restaurant was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful
Ordered combo C, egg roll, noodle wonton soup. Everything was bland. We recently moved to maple ridge and are looking for our new goto Chinese spot. Safe to say this one isn t it. Portions are decent.
Great food & excellent service.
Buffet style eating. Food is what you would expect. Dont go if not hungry otherwise you dont exactly get monies worth Vegetarian options: Its buffet there is rice and vegetable chowmein. That what I noticed Parking: 228th and lougheed by the A&W its a shared lot but not usually busy
Best bang for your buck. I have been coming here since I was a young child. Definitely also very good for parents on a budget to keep their children. Recommended dishes Combo
Worst delivery EXPERIENCE!! I would give ZERO stars! i placed an order online at NOON for 4:45pm delivery. I needed it delivered before 5pm - so I ordered EARLY. I called the restaurant at 5pm - it had not arrived. They said on its way - i live a 6 minute drive away from the restaurant. Finally arrived at 5:30pm - unacceptable for an order placed 4 hours ahead. I called them to say it arrived and I was very UNHAPPY. Woman said sorry and offered nothing! Very last time they will get my $$
Parking: Lots
Good food great staff
Waitess very nice but the food was terrible. Chow mein was undercooked and tasted terrible like paste. The beef & brocoli was way undercooked and inedible even after we sent it back and had it cooked more still couldnt chew it. The red sauce for the chicken had a strange spice tasted awful. Worst chinese food we ever had. Sorry to give this review because the staff is lovely but they need a new cook.
Great to see the buffet open agsin
WORST RESTAURANT !! We went for the lunch buffet and the food didn t seem fresh at all and the food was freezing. The quality of the food itself was poor. 0/5 would not recommend..
I dont like the chicken chowmein here. Its better at Chinese palace
This place deserves better rating its actually always fresh good food there wonton soup is awesome. There chow mein is not greasy there sweet sour pork is great and sauce as well
Regular Chinese food tailored to a western people. Lots of fried items. Food : 3/5
Oh my lord, I just picked up the wor wonton soup and I honestly believe it s the best wonton soup I ve ever had in my life! Big fresh vegetables and fresh ingredients! Yum!!! Thanks so much guys!!! - this is the review I made last year. I ve just come back again a year later and the food is STILL ABSOLUTELY BANGIN! I love the war wonton soup, I got like 25 wontons in there!!! The best value!! Delicious flavours!! Friendly staff!! I had to update my review because you can t review twice. I just love this place!! - 26/10/22
Closes at 930.. so we went there 7:15.. barely any options on buffet even though its still close to dinner time and charge $25++ person advertised weekends more more$$..Not sure why if its not better food options All of the trays had scraps in them. And nothing fresh at all. Rice was dried out and oily looked like it had sat for days or refried since lunch time buffet. Noodles all taste the same. All the meats including beef and broccoli beef and bean chicken, chicken curry, schezuan chicken all had small chewed up piece of meet barely resembling what type of meat it is and the trays were a dark black sludge like they had been burnt and sitting in the pans forever or vegetables shrunk and shriveled like they had been reheated too many time in burnt sauces and oil. We used to go here 5-10 years ago weekly with the whole family and really enjoyed it. We stopped going because the food was lower quality and cold when we order and there are so many more restaurants to choose from. We see why. We watched a take out bag at the from door for 45 minutes in a brown paper bag under a space heater o To keep warm..likely got an order and quickly packaged it with the old sitting out buffet food. And sat it there until skip comes. The whole time the customer thinks his food being made fresh... Was surprised and that should have gave a signal to leave.. but for some reason today we wanted to give it another chance to see if we would like it. Almost wanted to just pay and not eat and tell them in person that its below average dining to say the least comparison to anywhere else in town. But I didnt want to offend anybody or embarass my family I was out eating with. I would not recommend this place with all the other choices in town. I know times are tough for a lot of places. But food still needs to be served fresh or dont bother.
One of the last Chinese Food Buffets around. Staff are great and friendly, the little ones love the fish tank, selection is pretty good, they have a bit of everything including bbq pork, black bean mussels, won ton and hit and sour soup, crispy pork, spring rolls, Shanghai noodles, a salad bar which includes California Rollls, and 6 different flavors of ice cream to choose from. Great family atmosphere, nothing flashy - but we go here a few times a year. Kid-friendliness: High chair, booster seats
Had a lovely lunch. The best thing about here is the outstanding customer service. Appreciate the lovely customer service and ofcourse food. Vegetarian options: They have a number of vegetarian options
Not very good at all I won t waste my time anymore sry not sry
waste of money, food taste like several days old! Bad service too reception are very rude. Not buying here again... Not Recomended!
Very good food always fresh and hot
Meh! Cheap with ingredients (lots of filler and not much killer). Overpriced too. There are better places in maple ridge. Enjoy Palace is one of the best and the owners are super sweet (if they sound rude on the phone its probably a culture thing - which makes it more authentic IMO)
Very good selection at a reasonable price
Food is amazing, prices are great and the staff is always kind and ontop of their game!!
It was good for what I got. Glad I tried them thanks.
Smorgasbord is open again, very good food, fresh and hot.
The food is good if you go during their busy hours 5-7pm on weekends. Service is great, staff are very friendly. I was a little upset last night when they were seating people who didn t have their vaccine passports though! They were checking at the door but if you didn t have one they were still letting you in! One couple didn t have the passport and said oh just seat us at the back and they sat them right in the middle of everyone!
There was no flavour. Very disappointed.
Pretty tasty. Wor wonton, and the beef and rice noodles are our favorite. Friendly, reliable delivery, and reasonably priced dishes.
Oh my gosh, this Buffet dinner was excellent. I think example the onion rings were terrific! Soak that in for a minute, Buffet onion rings were terrific!
Food is good. Sucks prices went up a few dollars but i guess its to be expected these days
Our experience was okay but the buffet was not well stocked and the vegetables were horrible. I do not rate them lower as I understand that it was not a busy time so some food stayed out too long. When they finally brought out fresh food it tasted much better.
good large
Ordered on SKIP...it was a greasy mess...
Decent all you can eat chinese buffet. Tried the lunch and the dinner. Both is good and as what you expect for a buffet. They also have an awsome icecream bar with not your typical flavours.
The best buffet anywhere
The staff extremely welcoming and pleasant. We enjoyed the food very much and will come back again.
We has taken a break from ordering here because we had been disappointed but tried again last night and was blown away by the quality and freshness of the dishes. We all said it was the best we have had from China Kitchen for a long time .
