Hot Pho Restaurant in Maple Ridge

Was told it is the place to go in MR for PHO and I was not disappointed. Left very happy and very full

Great pho, great value

Restaurant is quite dirty. Salad roll portion was very small and the sauce was watered down and slimy. Slimy means bacteria and old and rotten. Do not believe they are being food safe and would not dine here again.

The food was disappointing fish sauce had no sweet flavor to it and portions small chicken over cooked dry. Its to bad :( everything service and atmosphere good

Ive been a regular customer here and today was the last time I would ever go... Pho was underflavored again, good 50/50 if its flavored well or not bit the worst part was there was a massive Crack at the bottom of my bowl which was also chipping. When I told our server this he simply said oh thats been cracked for a long time its fine which brought me massive concern about them using broken eating utensils and bowls. When it came time to pay they gave us no discount for the chip even though we both felt terrible after our bowls. I would try to stay away from here and try a new place like pho song

When I first started going to Hot Pho the food was fresh and the service was good. Unfortunately over the past year. I have noticed that the dumplings for the soup are not quite as fresh and service has become impersonal. And this point has been shared by friends who are of the same ethnicity. Who have pointed out these facts and have often suggested that we go to other establishments for a better quality meal. Its to bad that it has come to that and i sure hope they regain what they once had. Because it was good.

The food is taste good but maybe they dont have enough waitress not easy to find someone for holp.

Both my daughter and I found long hair in our soups. My water tasted like hands. The noodles had a really weird texture.

Its okay to eat too much, but the broth of Bun Bo Hue tastes exactly like Pho.

The best pho in town and only $15, and the bowl is huge and great service! I wish I lived closer.

The food was ok. Two lemon grass chicken rice dishes with four sprung rolls at $45. Tasty but not outstanding. The service was excellent.

Edit: You responded that vaccination isnt required anymore, but at the time of my review it was still definitely required. You also failed to address the other issues I brought up. Food is delicious, however it appears they havent updated their menus with new prices as I ended up paying more than I expected. They also never asked for my vaccine card for dine in and the waitress wasnt sanitizing the tables, just giving them a quick wipe with what looked like an old rag.

Love going here with the hubs or friends there service is quick and great! I haven t had anything that wasn t delicious!

I decided to try this through DoorDash and it was just OK. The food came quickly, but it was a smaller portion than I was expecting and not as flavorful as I m used to. Overall it was fine but pretty basic for combos. (Spring roll was not part of this combo, had to order it separately). Food

I have been here several times, and always left satisfied. However, today I was so unhappy so I regret to leave such a low rating. Firstly we ordered a salad roll and recieved the smallest portion I have ever seen. I understand costs are rising, but I would much prefer to a higher cost than receive such a sad portion. The broth was also relatively flavourless but passable. The worst part of this experience was the franks hot sauce in the hot sauce bottles instead of sriracha. I am well aware of the sriracha shortage that is occurring, but franks is honestly probably the worst substitute there is. Thankfully, we noticed it was franks before putting it in my soup, otherwise it wouldve been inedible. I would much prefer if they used a sriracha knock-off, or didnt have it on the table at all. Not having sriracha at a pho restaurant is unforgivable and feels like a slap in the face. It breaks my heart to leave a poor review for a local small restaurant and I would be happy to return if adjustments were made

Decent service. Good food. Clean. Not the best place but worth the visit. Edit: was 4 stars down to 3. Quality has dropped significantly. Salad rolls are a little slimy and fell apart in my hand, peanut sauce is bland and watery as is the Pho Thai broth. Im a regular and the last few visits have been disappointing. 6months later and the quality still has not improved. Service has declined, mix up on orders and the sauces and broths are sub par. Parking: There are parking stalls in front of the restaurant but this is a mall and the spaces go fast. If needed, you can always park in the Civic Center parkade (paid but cheap) and walk over to the restaurant which is just next door. Food

We ordered a $50 order for our Family. The order was not correct, they were missing a number of items in the order. When we called back to request and confirm we were told they made a mistake and will not resolve the order. Dietary restrictions: Specific order not met.

Super fast pho to go

The food was alright but I have had better Vietnamese food. It could be that my tastes are different than what they serve. I found the nuoc cham more sour and vinegary than what I usually get. Service was not limited with only 1 staff but overall an alright place to eat. Parking: Many spots are reserved in the small parking lot. Best to find parking elsewhere and walk to the restaurant.

Always had great food from here. I havent explored the menu too much but from the pho Ive had its been great. Always piping hot, lots of fresh ingredients and very accommodating to any specific requests. Big portions and price is very reasonable

Best pho broth in maple ridge

Rare beef and brisket soup. Super, super tasty. Would definitely recommend. I cannot speak for anything else on the menu.

Different, in a good way. Broth seemed to be poultry based maybe- for a beef stew not used to that but good flavour. They said they didnt have raw fish sauce. Which is weird cause they would need that :)

Hot Pho is an alternative PGO place in Maple ridge. I think we only have 2 Vietnamese restaurant in Maple Ridge. Their price is good compared to other Viet Restaurant. Food is good and good portion as well. Would come back here.

Dont do it. There are so many other good choices out there. The spring rolls were dry, tasteless, and burnt. The meat in my vermicelli dish ....well, I couldnt tell what is was, cheap meat, tasted bad. I had a fork full or two along with my guests and we had to leave it was so bad. Maybe it was a bad day, but here is another case of no quality control. The waitress was very nice and polite though. Owners, you need to step it up to compete, dont just settle. No offence but perhaps look at some new cooks or looking at food before it is sent to table, spring rolls should not be burnt. Im not sure if other reviewers have eaten at quality establishments before, I have. I am sure Hot Pho will be happy I am not coming back.

This is so far the worst Viet Food I have tasted in Bc. Their spring roll contains too many carrots, and tastes disgusting. The grill pork are bland, and oily. Fish sauce is also not better. Vermicelli rice is served in the dish, which is weird. Overall, if you want to look for good Viet dish, this is not that place.

Ordered take out, asked for them to have it ready for 6:25 and gave them over 2 hours notice. They show up and repeatedly ask what was ordered, then were rude about ordering the food early and say they threw it out (had no record of me asking for it in advance even though i confirmed). The whole while they only had two customers in the dining area and were neglecting them, asking all the takeout orders repeatedly what they ordered and being really rude.

It was so hot today I just wanted a Salad Roll. Got 3 Shrimp Salad Rolls with Peanut Dipping Sauce. I know it s standard fare but I REALLY enjoyed them.

The pho soup wasn t bad, not the best I ve had, but not the worse, but I came home smelling like the incense they were burning in the restaurant and two hours later my clothes still smell!

I ordered the beef noodle soup with beef balls and the briskets. It was filling meal, but I thought the broth was a bit too sweet for my liking. In regards to the decor, the interior does feel a bit dated, and the bathroom needs some touch-ups to feel less dingy. 3/5

The food is okay... but for us drivers the wait time is either none for cheap orders drivers kept declining or very slo2 up to 30 to 45mins PAST the pick up time for decent orders.

Ordered two vermicelli dishes. One was chicken and prawns and the other was chicken and minced pork. Chicken was flavorful but portion size was a his issue. The chicken and prawn had bits of chicken - 8 small broken pieces at best, not chunks. The chicken flavor was good but way too little chicken. The three prawns were more like small shrimps and was dried out on the skewer. I cant say I would recommend this place for the price they are charging.

Meh. Its not really an authentic Vietnamese restaurant but more of a Chinese restaurant. We ordered chicken and pork grilled, and it didnt taste like anything. (Its supposed to be marinated with lemon grass) Spring rolls are basically egg rolls you can get from Chinese restaurant. Waitress is inattentive. More focused on door dash than actual dine in customers However environment is nice.

Get the cold drip coffee. It will change your life.

Honestly the best Pho places around ridge, and greater area. Great tasting broth/noodles, and amazing meat/rice dishes. Cant recommend this place enough if youre in the area!

Hot Pho is OK. We ordered banh mi, house special pho and a grilled chicken plate, and all were good but not fantastic. Pho broth was tasty, but the dish was a little light on toppings, banh mi bread was not crispy and fresh like we are used to at other local competitors. Service was adequate, but with the bare minimum of interaction. Decor was tired and certainly not swanky, but par for the course with pho restaurants. Overall, while it was fine, we probably wont be back in favour of some stronger local offerings.

The pho us just how I like it with the meat thinly sliced and tender and the broth is a perfect balance of flavours. Could be a little tidier tho, tables, sauce bottles and such. That is a bit off putting.

Not bad, but not really vegetarian friendly as the menu is mostly meat and when I ordered salad rolls I thought they are vegetarian but they turned out to have shrimp in them. I would recommend to make it more clear on the menu of the ingredients for each menu item :) good service tho!

Customer service experience wasnt the best here when I came here with my girlfriend, she found a piece of HAIR inside a spring roll, dont get me wrong, mistakes happen like this at any restaurant. So we kindly told them that we found a piece of hair inside and expected a new order as of good customer service is supposed to be. The waitress was skeptical of what we found and had to point it out to her, she then takes it back to the kitchen quickly for the cook to come out and blame it was my girlfriends hair in the food instead..., They brought back the food and showed us that there was no hair because clearly they took it out in the kitchen and still has the audacity to say it was ours when what we say the hair was INSIDE the spring roll. Nontheless food is still great but this was just a bad customer service experience.

We are regulars here and it is hands down the best pho restaurant anywhere! Everyone we have brought absolutely LOVES it here. The staff is warm, the service is fast and the pho is perfect. We hit it up here atleast once a week!

Wow what an awful experience! Spring rolls we re greasy and soup was flavourless and fairly sure the sliced beef in the soup was on its last day as it had a foul smell. None of the 9 tables were cleaned off in the full hour I sat there for, service was awful and painfully slow. Was dirty and no social distancing practice was implemented and staff didn t wear masks. They really need to hire another staff! Will never go back

We ve been eating here for a couple years but recently the quality has gone down hill. The large size soups have turned into the small size, flavour is not as good, and spring rolls were soggy. And then we found a few large black hairs in the vermicelli. We called to see if they d do anything about it and they passed the phone around to 3 different people and tried to pretend like they didn t understand what we were saying. Sadly not eating here anymore, this was our go-to pho spot

Dec 18, 2020 I have never been to this restaurant before. I ve been to a Vietnamese noodle restaurant in Coquitlam and that was 15 years ago with my brother . We both had the noodle soup it was not salty Some Vietnamese restaurants in the Greater Vancouver area do tend to put too much salt in their noodle soup. The deep fried spring rolls that I ordered for take out at one restaurant were very good I can honestly say that I have never found a hair in anything . Though after reading the reviews abouts this restaurants makes you think twice about going to a Vietnamese restaurant The staff who work there dont speak very good english at all and they have difficulty learning the language
